Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

Pesantren, as an Islamic educational institution that has long been a center of religious learning and character development, has great potential in advancing entrepreneurship based on local wisdom. The role of pesantren is not only limited to teaching religious studies, but also includes coaching students to have economic independence and competitiveness in the midst of the Times. Local wisdom that grows around pesantren can be an important capital in developing businesses that are relevant to the needs of the community. However, optimizing the function of pesantren in producing students who are independent and able to compete still faces various challenges. One of the main obstacles is the development of Human Resources (HR) which is not only oriented to mastering the theory, but also on practical skills and understanding of local values. Without the right strategy, such great potential is difficult to realize sustainably. This study aims to explore strategies that can be applied in the development of human resources in order to improve the performance of local wisdom-based entrepreneurship in the boarding school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies on several boarding schools that have succeeded in forming productive business units by utilizing local potential, such as agriculture, fisheries, crafts, and food product processing. Research findings indicate that several crucial factors in building entrepreneurial human resources in pesantren include: strengthening character and work ethic, hands-on practice-based training in the field, collaboration with local business actors for knowledge transfer and market networking, as well as historical and philosophical understanding of local wisdom values. The success of entrepreneurship development in pesantren depends on the integration of spiritual aspects, practical skills, and knowledge about the potential of the region. Based on the results of the study, an integrated entrepreneurship training model that combines science, faith, and concrete action is recommended. This Model is expected to produce great pesantren entrepreneurs, competitive, and able to adapt and face global challenges without leaving their identity and noble values.

This study aims to identify the factors that influence the local community in developing the swallow nest business and to examine how the practice of swallow nest farming aligns with the principles of Islamic business ethics in Marioriwawo District, Soppeng Regency. The swallow nest industry has grown significantly in this area, shifting the economic landscape from primarily agricultural activities to a more diversified business sector. Before the emergence of this business, most residents were involved in farming. However, due to factors such as unpredictable harvests and unstable agricultural income, many community members have turned to swallow nest cultivation as an alternative and promising source of livelihood. According to Islamic business ethics, the practice of breeding swallows is permissible, as long as it does not involve cruelty to animals. This view is supported by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Fatwa Number 2 of 2012, which states that raising or cultivating swallows is allowed, provided the birds are not harmed or subjected to distress. Furthermore, the consumption and trade of swallow nests are also considered halal under Islamic law, adding to the business's appeal among the Muslim population. To explore the underlying motivations and social dynamics of this business shift, the study employed a qualitative research method. This approach was chosen to gain a deeper understanding of the local context, including the experiences, beliefs, and socioeconomic conditions of the people involved. The results revealed several influencing factors: the potential for high profit from selling swallow nests, the challenges faced in traditional agriculture (such as frequent crop failure), and the religious assurance that the business is acceptable under Islamic teachings. Overall, the swallow nest business represents a strategic and ethical economic opportunity for the community, enabling them to improve their livelihoods while staying aligned with their religious values.

This study explores the role of halal certificates in increasing consumer confidence in food industry products in Indonesia. In a Muslim society and a global market that is increasingly aware of religious ethics and values, halal certificates are not only proof of halalness, but also serve as a signal of quality, safety and integrity of the producer. This research uses a qualitative approach through a literature study, by reviewing scientific articles, books, official reports, and relevant documents related to halal and consumer behavior. The results of the analysis show that halal certificates have three main roles: (1) as a credibility signal to reduce information asymmetry between producers and consumers; (2) as an instrument to reduce risk perceptions of ingredients, processes, and production ethics; and (3) as a brand communication medium that builds emotional attachment and social value. Consumers, especially millennials and Gen Z, demand halalness accompanied by transparency and education in the certification process. Halal certificates also strengthen product competitiveness in the global market, reflecting a religious lifestyle while being modern and sustainable. Therefore, industry players need to make halal certification a comprehensive brand strategy, while regulators such as BPJPH must continue to improve the transparency and effectiveness of the system.

This study examines the evolution of traditional local philanthropic organizations, including zakat, infaq, waqf, gotong royong, and village barns, into a structured and formal framework. The study shows that, in addition to strengthening the national welfare system, local philanthropy pursues strategic goals aimed at increasing social capital and fostering citizen unity. This research shows that the revitalization of local philanthropic principles can significantly replace the establishment of an inclusive, dynamic, and sustainable social welfare system in Indonesia.

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping the moral character of students at the elementary school level. However, learning methods used in IRE classrooms often remain conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student engagement and limited understanding of religious material. In response to the educational demands of the 21st century, a transformation in learning strategies is necessary. This study explores the implementation of active learning methods Card Sort, The Power of Two, and Snowballing as innovative approaches to revitalize IRE instruction. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and supporting documentation. The findings reveal that Card Sort enhances students’ ability to visually organize and connect religious concepts, The Power of Two facilitates deeper comprehension through peer discussion, and Snowballing promotes collaborative knowledge construction in stages. These methods contribute to a more interactive, student-centered, and meaningful learning process. Moreover, the integration of these strategies helps improve students' critical thinking, communication, and social-emotional skills while strengthening their internalization of Islamic values. Despite challenges such as instructional planning and classroom management, active learning techniques offer promising potential to transform IRE learning into a dynamic and participatory experience. The study provides practical recommendations for educators and school administrators to develop more effective and engaging IRE strategies.

The procedures for collecting, spending, and storing funds must be carefully considered when managing communal or group-owned finances. This is due to the trust placed in the treasurer to safeguard and supervise the group’s finances. A structured plan is essential in the management of religious gathering (pengajian) funds to ensure that the money is used for the benefit of the group and that unnecessary expenses are kept to a minimum. In practice, the management of pengajian funds is often conducted manually, without regard to efficiency. This study aims to analyze strategies for managing pengajian funds to improve the welfare of its members. A descriptive qualitative research method was used, with data collected through documentation, interviews, and observation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that seven financial management principles—consistency, accountability, transparency, sustainability, integrity, stewardship, and adherence to accounting standards—are applied to evaluate the management of pengajian funds. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the implementation of strategic fund management has contributed to improving the welfare of the group’s members, while adhering to established standards and objectives.
