Introduction: Low birth weight babies are babies weighing <2500 grams. Babies with LBW tend to experience hypothermia and infection, so an effort needs to be made to prevent this, one of which is by using the KMC method. Kangaroo Mother Care is a treatment for low birth weight babies that involves making direct contact between the baby's skin and the mother's skin. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of the kangaroo method on weight gain in LBW babies at Duren Sawit RSKD.Method: This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative study with a pretest- posttest one-group design. The sample in this study consisted of 20 babies with LBW who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The instruments in this study were KMC management SOPs and observation sheets. Data collection was carried out 2 times, namely before being given the KMC method and after being given the KMC method. Data processing using the SPSS computer program using the Wilcoxon analysis test. Results: Most of the mothers were aged 20–35 years, namely 11 people (55.0%), and most of the babies were female, namely 12 people (60.0%). Before being given the kangaroo method, all babies experienced low birth weight, where the baby's weight was in the minimum BB category, namely <2500 grams for 20 people (100.0%). After being given the kangaroo method, most of the babies with LBW had a weight in the normal weight category, namely ≥2500 grams, as did as many as 12 people (60.0%). The results of the Wilcoxon test analysis show a p-value of 0.001, which means that there is an effect of the KMC method on increasing LBW weight at the Durem Sawit Hospital in 2023. Conclusion: There is an effect of the KMC method on increasing LBW weight at the Durem Sawit Hospital in 2023.

High risk pregnancy is a pregnancy that causes greater harm and complications to the mother and fetus during pregnancy, childbirth or postpartum when compared to normal pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. One of the reasons for the high MMR is because pregnant women who are at risk were not detected early. Complications that can occur from risky pregnancies are antepartum bleeding, prolonged labor, prematurity, low birth weight (LBW). A risk pregnancy is an abnormal pregnancy that can affect the health of the mother and fetus. Sustainable development Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), one of the targets that can be measured is a reduction in the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). This activity was carried out in Ampekale Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency using the method of providing counseling to pregnant women in turn using brochures which were distributed to each pregnant mother, after which a question and answer session was held and screening was carried out to detect pregnant women who were in the high risk group. This activity was attended by 24 pregnant women. This community service provides good benefits, namely gaining knowledge about increasing pregnant women's knowledge about high-risk pregnancies in pregnant women as well as ways to prevent and anticipate danger signs of pregnancy in high-risk pregnancies.

Background: Changes due to pregnancy are experienced by all women, starting from the digestive system, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems. Gradual bodily changes from a pregnant woman's increased weight cause the woman's posture and gait to change. Increased abdominal distension which makes the pelvis tilt forward, decreased abdominal muscle tone and the center of gravity shifts forward so that there is a tendency for the waist muscles to shorten if the abdominal muscles are stretched, causing an imbalance in the pelvic muscles which can cause discomfort in the lower back and also have an impact on lowering the baby's head. Objective: This study was to determine the relationship between using a gymball and lowering the fetal head in third trimester pregnant women.Method: This research uses primary and secondary data with a case study approach, namely providing complementary care in the form of using a gym ball to help lower the fetal head. Results: Pregnant women in the third trimester experienced head loss when using a gym ball. Conclusion: Based on the results of data analysis, using a gymball can help the decline process.Suggestion: It is hoped that PMB in Pesanggrahan village will become a forum and facilitator for pregnant women and women giving birth whose first stage is abnormal by using a gym ball to help lower the head and speed up the labor process.

Pregnancy is a period when pregnant women experience physiological and psychological changes. Physical changes that occur during pregnancy can cause complaints or discomfort during pregnancy, which include physical discomfort during pregnancy including back pain, low back pain, difficulty sleeping at night/insomnia, and leg cramps. Meanwhile, psychological discomfort that can occur in pregnant women is anxiety and fear of facing the birth process. Anxiety is one of the psychological changes in the third trimester because it is getting closer to the birth process. Resulting in excessive anxiety during pregnancy can trigger abortion, premature birth, low birth weight, fetal defects, fetal growth retardation, and postpartum depression. Three out of five third trimester pregnant women who were encountered experienced anxiety approaching labor, namely sleep disturbances. Practicing yoga during pregnancy is a useful solution as a self-help medium that will reduce discomfort during pregnancy and help with the birthing process. When pregnancy enters the third trimester, the mother will experience increasingly serious and intense anxiety in dealing with the birth process.

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in infants that occurs during a critical period of the process of growth and development in the womb and during the initial period after the baby is born. It is not only affected the physical growth of the baby but also the brain. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors associated with the stunting prevalence among the children under five years old of age in Jetis 1 Primary Health Care Center, Bantul. The research method is quantitative, case control research design with retrospective approach. The data analysis methods were chi-square and logistic regression. The results of this research were some factors could be associated with stunting prevalence. The factors were the history of exclusive breastfeeding (p: 0.037 or: 0.253) and the nutritional status of the mother during pregnancy (p: 0.001 or: 5.634). Meanwhile, gender (p: 0.153), history of birth weight (p: 0.677) and mother's education (p: 0.127) were found to have no relationship with stunting prevalence. It is expected that the mothers of children under five years old can prepare for pregnancy in the future by calculating nutritional intake before and during pregnancy and provide exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months.

Anemia is a health problem throughout the world, especially in developing countries where an estimated 30% of the world's population suffers from anemia. In Indonesia, one of the problems faced by adolescents is the problem of micronutrient nutrition, namely around 12% of male adolescents and 23% of female adolescents experience anemia, which is mostly due to iron deficiency (iron deficiency anemia. Anemia in adolescents specifically experienced by female adolescents will have a more serious impact, considering they are prospective mothers who will become pregnant and give birth to a baby, thus increasing the risk of maternal death, premature birth and low birth weight babies (LBW).The government has a routine program related to the distribution of iron tablets for women of childbearing age (WUS ), including adolescents and pregnant women. To support this program requires a good understanding for young women regarding anemia and the importance of blood-supplementing tablets, one of which is providing counseling to students at MTs N 1 Sumbawa with the aim of increasing knowledge about the dangers of anemia and the importance of taking tablets added blood. This community service activity was carried out on May 26 with the result that the knowledge and understanding of students about anemia was getting better, students also knew that taking iron tablets was important. Students are also motivated to meet their nutritional needs and increase adherence in taking iron tablets regularly.

Physiological newborns are babies born with a gestational age of more than or equal to 37 weeks with a body weight of 2500 grams to 4000 grams. During the birth period, many physical and psychological changes begin to occur in the baby's body, therefore it requires careful supervision to determine how to adjust to life outside the womb. The purpose of this study was to apply midwifery physiology care to By "Z" at the Panincong Health Center. The care provided uses the Varney 7 Step Midwifery Care Management approach and forms of documentation through SOAP. The case study conducted on By “Z” revealed that there were no obstacles when implementing Varney's 7 Step Midwifery Care Management approach. Thus, it is easy for caregivers to solve problems related to this. The form of midwifery care provided to By "Z" includes taking anamnesis on the baby's parents, carrying out physical examinations, and providing counseling to the parents, in this case to By "Z"'s mother about how to carry out effective care when caring for babies. This case study uses a descriptive observational method with a Continuity of care approach. The subject is By “Z” newborn. How to collect data anamnesis, observation, examination and documentation. The mortality causes of babies in Demak regency, in 2020, were low weight birth (43.87%), Asphyxia (16.9%), Tetanus Neonatorum (1%), and Sepsis (5.3%), and inherited abnormality (30.6%). The umbilical cord is a unique tissue and could be the infection source for newly born babies. Umbilical care becomes a behavioral realization that must be improved with excellent knowledge of taking care of the cord. This excellent behavior to take care of the cord could improve the behavior of taking care of the umbilical cord. Thus, the cord will be easily detached. Lack of adequate knowledge about umbilical cord will lead to incorrect administration of using traditional medicine which highly leads to neonates infection. This research determined the correlation between the mother's knowledge about the opened umbilical cord care and the detachment period of the umbilical cord. This analytic correlation research used a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of all mothers, 64 mothers, with an estimated period of birth from June to July 2022 in the working area of Sayung 1 Health Care, Demak Regency.  The researchers analyzed the data with univariate and bivariate analyses. The results showed the correlation between the mother's knowledge and the opened umbilical cord during the detachment period. The obtained p-value was 0.000, lower than 0.05.   Keywords: Mother knowledge, Opened umbilical cord care, Umbilical cord detachment

One of the stunting locations in East Tanjung Jabung Regency is located in Geragai Sub-district, Pandan Lagan Village. According to data from the Puskesmas in 2019, the incidence of stunting in Pandan Lagan Village was 35 toddlers, in 2020 it was 17 stunting children out of a total of 70 children in Pandan Lagan Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal nutritional status, history of maternal conditions, and maternal knowledge about 1000 HPK with the incidence of stunting in Pandan Lagan Village. This type of research is quantitative research, using a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples to be studied with the Lemeshow Formula is 45 respondents. The dependent variable is stunting and the independent variables are maternal nutritional status (pre-pregnant maternal BMI and weight gain during pregnancy), history of maternal conditions (maternal age during pregnancy, birth spacing), and maternal knowledge about 1000 HPK. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet, then the data was processed through data editing, data coding, data entry, data cleaning, and data processing, then analyzed univariate, bivariate with a chi-square test, and multivariate with multiple logistic regression test. Based on the results of the study, there is a relationship between pre-pregnancy maternal BMI with a risk of 4,464 times, weight gain with a risk of 3,75 times, maternal age during pregnancy with a risk of 3,0 times, and spacing of babies with a risk of 2,444 times with the incidence of stunting. There is no relationship between maternal knowledge about 1000 HPK and the incidence of stunting with a p-value = 0,114, and it is known that the pre-pregnancy mother's BMI variable is the variable that has the greatest influence on infants with stunting nutritional status (odds ratio = 15,943). For this reason, it is expected to be more intensive in educating couples of childbearing age, pre-pregnant mothers, or early on to adolescent girls to pay attention to factors that affect stunted children, especially to have an ideal BMI so that it will reduce the risk of having children with stunted nutritional status.
