This study aims to analyze the relationship between environmental performance, environmental disclosure, and leverage on profitability in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2023. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The data used in this study were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22 with the Classical Assumption Test, Determination Coefficient Test, T test and F test to test the significance of the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the T test show that environmental performance and leverage have a significant effect on profitability with a significance value <0.05, while environmental disclosure is .0.05 which means it is not significant. In addition, the F test shows that simultaneously, environmental performance, environmental disclosure, and leverage have a significant positive effect on profitability, with a significance value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05. Based on these results, the fourth hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. This study provides implications that companies that pay attention to environmental performance and transparency in disclosing environmental information can increase their profitability, and proper leverage management also contributes to the company's financial sustainability. These findings are important for company management and investors to consider environmental sustainability aspects in strategic decision making. Keywords: Environmental Performance, Environmental Disclosure, Leverage, ProfitabilyThis study aims to analyze the relationship between environmental performance, environmental disclosure, and leverage on profitability in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2023. Agro-industry is a strategic sector that supports rural economic growth and food security. Agro-industry, as a strategic sector, often faces challenges in financial management, which have an impact on business stability and sustainability. This research analyzes the financial performance of the Tahu Bulat Putra Mandiri Agroindustry in Ciamis Regency based on liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios. Financial report data for the last three years (2022-2024) was analyzed using the case study method by calculating financial ratios, such as current ratio, quick ratio, debt to asset ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on assets (ROA), and return on equity (ROE). The results show fluctuations in financial performance, where the liquidity ratio is good enough to meet short-term obligations, but solvency reflects high financial risk due to dependence on debt, while profitability experiences a decrease in efficiency in generating profits. This research recommends improving capital structure, increasing operational efficiency, and business diversification to ensure the company's financial sustainability and stability.

Kajian Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Terapan 2024 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

In the modern era, companies are assessed not only based on financial performance but also on how they manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts. ESG disclosure has become a key consideration for investors in evaluating corporate sustainability, particularly in the food and beverage sector in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of ESG disclosure on the profitability of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research employs a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression approach to analyze panel data. Data were obtained from annual reports and sustainability reports of companies for the 2021-2023 period. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling method based on ESG disclosure criteria and the availability of profitability data. The analysis includes descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation), as well as hypothesis testing using t-tests and F-tests. The findings reveal that, partially, the environmental, social, and governance disclosure variables do not have a significant effect on profitability (measured by Return on Assets/ROA). Simultaneously, these three variables also show no significant relationship with company profitability. The low coefficient of determination (R² = 0.018) indicates that profitability variance is predominantly influenced by factors outside of ESG disclosure.

This study examines the effect of leverage on the profitability of PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk during the 2020–2024 period. Using a causal research method with secondary data obtained from financial reports published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the study analyzes the relationship between Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) as the leverage indicator and Return on Assets (ROA) as the profitability indicator. The results indicate a significant negative relationship between leverage and profitability. Increased DER is associated with a decrease in ROA, suggesting that excessive debt reduces financial performance due to higher interest costs and financial risks. This study contributes to the understanding of leverage's impact on profitability in the manufacturing sector, offering valuable insights for corporate management, investors, and academics. Recommendations include enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing debt management strategies to improve long-term profitability

This research aims to analyze the influence of cash holdings, profitability and financial leverage on company value in manufacturing companies in the primary industry and chemical sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2020 to 2022. The aim of this research is to use multiple regression analysis to identify the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, namely company value. The findings show that cash holdings do not have a significant impact on firm value, indicating that investors do not consider the level of a company's cash holdings when making investment decisions. In addition, financial leverage varies depending on the company's situation, but profitability as measured by return on assets (ROA) also does not have a positive impact on company value. These findings provide important insights for management as they develop financial strategies to increase shareholder value.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between capital structure, profitability, and stock market value, proxied by the price-to-book ratio. The capital structure variable is measured using DER, while profitability is measured using the ROA. In this study, the data used comes from the financial statements of property and real estate companies listed on the IDX during the period of 2020 to 2023. This study applies multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS to process data obtained from 22 purposively selected companies over four years. The research concludes that capital structure and profitability are crucial factors that can influence stock prices. These results indicate that companies need to focus on improving profitability and maintaining healthy debt management to enhance their value in the eyes of investors. Additionally, investors should not rely solely on the PBV when evaluating investment prospects.

This study comprehensively investigates the empirical impact of capital structure, profitability, and asset growth on the value of companies in the retail sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the post-pandemic economic recovery phase (2021–2024). Adopting a quantitative methodology with purposive sampling of 12 entities (N=48), parameters were estimated using multiple linear regression after passing a rigorous classical assumption test including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. By proxiesizing the capital structure through Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), profitability through Return on Assets (ROA), and total asset growth to Price to Book Value (PBV), this study reveals the phenomenon of  market undervaluation with an average PBV of 0.17. The results of statistical tests confirm that these financial determinants partially and simultaneously have a significant influence on shaping the firm value. These findings provide a theoretical contribution regarding the relevance of funding policy and operational efficiency as crucial signals for investors in a volatile market landscape. The practical implications emphasize the importance of optimizing financial structure and operational performance to strengthen market confidence during the global economic transition period.

This sharia bank, which was founded by considering these two types of financing, uses sharia banking as its financing fund distribution product. These banks finance transactions with the aim of making money. based on the results of collaborative projects implemented based on musyarakah agreements and profit sharing principles. Musyarakah financing is a collaborative effort between capital owners to run a particular business in accordance with sharia principles, with both parties participating in the success of the business. parties according to predetermined ratios, and losses are allocated according to capital advice. In the financial industry, bank performance is one of the main indicators of health. One method for evaluating bank operations is to use metrics to measure profitability, which is usually called ROA or profit assets. ROA is a capability metric; a business makes money by using all its resources and skills. A bank will make more money and have a better asset utilization position if its return on assets (ROA) is higher. In other words, ROA can show how effectively managers allocate resources to generate profits.

Human resource management (HRM) plays an important role in helping organizations achieve short-term and long-term goals by aligning those goals with overall business strategy. The purpose of writing this paper is to determine the relationship between Human Resource Management (HRM) and business strategy and to provide an overview of effective employee training and development to increase company productivity. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through literature study. Based on the studies conducted, it is known that the assumption of a close relationship between business strategy and HRM methods is based on contingency theory. This theory emphasizes that human resource management methods are selected according to the type of competitive strategy adopted by the business. A well-crafted business strategy should align with the company's core mission and vision, and serve as a roadmap for achieving profitability, competitiveness and sustainable growth. In addition, proper training and development can significantly influence employee productivity, which in turn will improve the well-being and prosperity of the company. This shows the importance of planning and implementing training and workforce development, both at the company and public levels, to achieve the organization's long-term goals. Keywords: , , ,  ,

Profit growth is the rate of increase in profit obtained by a company. Profit growth is an important factor in assessing a company's financial performance. This study aims to examine the effect of financial ratios on profit growth in infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2022. The research sample used was 20 companies with 80 observation samples. The financial ratios used are liquidity, solvency, profitability, and activity ratios. These financial ratios are proxied by the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), and Total Asset Turnover (TAT), respectively. Testing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is known that the profitability ratio proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) has a positive effect on profit growth and the activity ratio proxied by Total Asset Turnover (TAT) has a negative effect on profit growth. Other results, namely the liquidity ratio proxied by the Current Ratio (CR) and the solvency ratio proxied by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have no effect on profit growth. These results mean that the profitability ratio and activity ratio can be determinants of profit growth predictors and can be a reference for investors to make investment decisions.
