JURNAL EKONOMI BISNIS DAN MANAJEMEN (JISE) 2024 CV. ALIM'SPUBLISHING

This journal analyzes the economic dynamics of 4 sectors with a focus on the influence of exports and imports. Through sectoral data analysis, this study identifies the role of each sector in driving export activity and its impact on the national economy. The findings highlight the complexity of the relationship between exports, imports, and economic growth, while exploring strategies to optimize the contribution of these sectors. The policy implications of the findings look towards sustainable economic development by taking into account the dynamic interaction between exports and imports in a 4-sector economy. The impact of exports and imports on economic growth in Indonesia is very large because exports are one of the sources of state income and from import activities the state can get goods that do not yet exist or are lacking in the country to meet the needs of the community. The analysis highlights the positive contribution of exports to economic growth, while the impact of imports is complex and requires careful handling. The policy implications of these findings are discussed in light of efforts to increase exports and manage imports to support sustainable economic growth in Indonesia.

Trade is an activity of exchanging goods and services based on mutual agreement without any element of coercion. Import and export activities are economic activities that cannot be separated from trade and are a unity that can encourage the improvement and growth of the economy in a country. The purpose of this research is to focus on the effect of import-export on economic growth, the evaluation of the contribution of Customs, and the role of international trade supervision. Customs or customs authorities in Indonesia, known as Customs and Excise, are the gateway to international trade. Customs manages state finances and implements state revenue through import duties and excise. The results of this study show that Indonesia's economic growth is influenced by global economic growth. In the first quarter of 2023, export activity weakened with the moderation of international commodity prices which supported the exports of North Sumatra Province. Export performance in North Sumatra grew 2.45% (yoy), lower than the previous quarter which amounted to 9.77% (yoy). Export activities in Indonesia are one of the efforts made by the government to follow the development of industrialization every year. Competition between products in foreign markets depends on price, quality, and quality of goods are important factors in competing in export activities.

The aim of this research is to find out how the European Union's complaint against Indonesia regarding the ban on nickel exports at the World Trade Organization (WTO) occurred. The biggest problem with this is the degradation of nickel in nature. Solving this problem requires nickel empowerment. This can be avoided by stopping shipments abroad, which will help anticipate the current depletion of nickel supplies. Therefore, the Indonesian government must hurry to increase nickel supplies, with activities aimed at increasing the added value of nickel in the country's natural resources.

The SME empowerment policy is generally directed at supporting efforts to overcome poverty and inequality, create job opportunities and increase exports, as well as agricultural and rural revitalization, which are national development priorities. In addition, the development of small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is directed at making a significant contribution to creating job opportunities, increasing exports and increasing competitiveness. This Community Service Activity (PKM) is focused on MSMEs in Pagerharjo Village, Kulon Progo Regency. The reason for choosing this service location is because Pagerharjo Village is an Independent Cultural Village which has implemented the Preneur Village program since 2019. The Preneur Village is currently still active and developing. The problem with MSMEs, under the management of BUMDes Binangun Pagerharjo in Pagerharjo Village, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo Regency, is the lack of entrepreneurial spirit and financial bookkeeping which, on average, is still done manually. The results of the service include responses and evaluations from participants regarding the training that has been provided. The response was given by the Director of BUMDes who was impressed with the training provided which was different from the training that had been provided previously. Previous training involved mostly listening to lectures, whereas the current training involves participants being active in solving the various problems they face. The evaluation results show that the participants' knowledge has increased and their insight into their business has also increased. It turns out that producing a business is not only based on generations, but also requires innovation so that marketing will continue to develop and financial management will also improve.

The purpose of this study is to look at export and import activities in supporting economic stability before and during the pandemic. The method used is VAR and Difference Test. The results of the VAR research show that Export and Import activities contribute to each other and are optimal in supporting economic stability in Indonesia, both in the short, medium and long term. The results of the FEVD show that the policies used in Export activities are in the short term carried out by Exports themselves, then in the medium and long term the policies used in maintaining Export activities are Exports themselves and are influenced by Imports. Then the results of the FEVD show that the policy in maintaining imports in the short, medium and long term is with imports itself and followed by exports. Then the results of the Difference Test show that there are no significant differences in inflation and exchange rates before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. If there is an error in taking action on Exports and Imports, it can make the economy unstable. Thus, in sustaining economic stability in Indonesia, the Government must monitor and take the right policies, both by reducing and increasing exports and imports. Where if you take the wrong action, it will have a huge impact on the Indonesian economy. Then for the future the Central Bank to maintain stable inflation and exchange rates, so that the economy is maintained.

This article aims to review and attempt to inform the concept of the role of monetary policy in the economy. The research method used is qualitative and literature studies or library research. Based on the results of the discussion above, it can be concluded in general that the role of monetary policy in the economy is to keep economic conditions growing and conductive, to create sufficient money supply so that growth can always be in harmony with the course of development which requires strong discipline among monetary authorities and also on the government side and overseeing the development of foreign currency receipts and supervising activities in the foreign sector ( exports and imports). Activities in this sector are very easy to cause inflation in the country, because the price of law materials always fluctuates. Thus, revenues from export activities always experience irregular changes.

Trade liberalization or free trade is a condition in which a country engages in trade with other nations without any barriers. The process towards achieving free trade is referred to as trade liberalization. One of the goals of trade liberalization is to promote economic growth by capturing both static and dynamic benefits of trade through more efficient allocation of resources. This research aims to examine the impact of international trade liberalization on export-import growth in five ASEAN countries. The study employs a qualitative descriptive research approach using literature review methods, drawing information from previous research journals and utilizing data obtained from the World Bank. The research is conducted in five ASEAN countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. The results of this research explain that trade liberalization and economic openness provide access to knowledge for developing countries and create a more competitive environment, forcing domestic producers to improve the quality of their products to remain competitive with foreign producers. Trade liberalization is associated with opening market access for a country's export products to the world. The increasing foreign investment leads to a rising flow of investment profits (income) to foreign countries

The development of world globalization at this time has resulted in all countries having to be able to adapt to the changes that have occurred. One of the impacts of globalization is the growing development of international markets which has led to more open export and import activities between countries. Export activities are activities of selling goods abroad, while import activities are the opposite, namely activities of buying goods from abroad. The development of import and export can improve the country's economy if it is managed effectively. Commodities that are often exported and imported are the non-oil and gas sector. Non-oil and gas itself stands for non-oil and gas. Export and import activities in the non-oil and gas sector in each province tend to be different and fluctuate, one of which is in West Java Province. This analysis aims to determine the development of the non-oil and gas export-import sector in West Java Province. The research method used in this analysis is to use qualitative methods by collecting data using literature study techniques collected through data from West Java BPS (Central Statistics Agency) regarding non-oil and gas exports and imports according to Goods Class (Millions USD) in 2013-2017. The results of this analysis show that (1) the export-import performance of the group of non-oil and gas goods in West Java Province from 2013 to 2017 shows an instability that can be seen in the value of imports, then an increase in the value of exports; (2) The trade balance shows a positive value, meaning that foreign trade in the non-oil and gas sector is dominated by exports.

As international trade activities are increased, there are more regulative practices which might  be  barriers to trade. One  of such hindrances is exchange rate volatility that  affects trade activities both  directly  and indirectly. Exchange rate volatility of currencies can  affect  the  trade engagements and  as well as the  trade balance of a country. One  of the  implications of the  study is that  the  impacts of monetary policy changes on trade activities can  be  noticed significantly in the  long-term. While impacts on export levels  are usually immediate, import levels are changed in long-run. The research analyzes the correlation between inflation and  devaluation and  clearly  states their  impacts on  trade balance. The  case study about devaluation of the  currency of Azerbaijan elaborates the  impacts of currency volatility on exports which is illustrated and analyzed in this research. Moreover, inflation and  devaluation correlations and  their impacts on import level of a country are studied through correlation and  multiple  regression analyses based on the  data exported from  OECD and  World Bank.  The  results conclude that  exchange rate volatility significantly impacts the trade balance in terms of imports and  exports. Given the  results, exchange rate is a non-trade barrier and affects foreign trade.

International trade greatly affects a country's economic growth. One of the indicators for reviewing a country's economic growth is to look at the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). GDP is the accumulation of all market value generated by a country for the production of goods and services in a certain period. In GDP, there are results of calculating the value of export and import activities that affect the size or size of the country's GDP. The more exports of a country increase, the income of that country will also increase. This is also in line with the theory of international trade proposed by Heckscher-Ohlin which states that Net-Export or net export is one of the most important factors of Gross National Product (GNP), so that with changes in the value of Net-Export it will have an influence on changes in national income. The research method used in this study is to use qualitative descriptive analysis. This method is carried out by describing the phenomena that occur as a result of international trade carried out by Indonesia on Indonesia's economic growth. The data used in this study is data obtained from the analysis of various sources and journals with a vulnerable time of 2017 - 2022.

In a country, the economic component largely determines the survival and progress of the country.  This study aims to determine the effect of exports on Indonesia's economic growth. This research uses a descriptive method, namely investigating the circumstances, conditions, or other things that have been mentioned, the results of which are presented in the form of research reports. The initial stage before conducting further analysis requires testing the stationariness of the data. Economic developments in Indonesia's export sector in the 2018-2021 period decreased in December 2018 which reached US$ 14.18 billion or a decrease of 4.89 percent compared to exports in November 2018.  This research is expected to be a consideration for the government or authorities to take appropriate steps for the progress of the Indonesian economy.
