Firm value represents the value required by investors to make investment decisions, as reflected in the company's market price. It also represents the growth value for shareholders, which is mirrored in the company's stock market price. Firm value signifies the prosperity of shareholders; when the firm's value is high, shareholder prosperity is also high. The objective of this study is to determine the influence of financing decisions, profitability, solvency, and company size on firm value. The population consists of industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with financial statements for the 2019–2023 period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria, resulting in 41 companies. This study utilizes multiple linear regression analysis, facilitated by the SPSS Version 22 program. The results of this study indicate that funding decisions as measured by the debt to equity ratio have a positive and significant effect on firm value, profitability as measured by return on assets has a positive and significant effect on firm value, solvency as measured by the debt to asset ratio has a negative and significant effect on firm value, and firm size as measured by firmsize has no effect on firm value.

This study aims to assess how financial performance influences stock returns amid political uncertainty, specifically during the 2024 general election in Indonesia. The focus is on understanding the impact of various financial performance indicators on the stock returns of property and real estate firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A sample of 64 companies was observed during two critical periods: the pre-election period in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the post-election period in the second quarter of 2024. To analyze the data, the study employed an event study approach, utilizing multiple regression analysis to identify the relationship between financial performance and stock returns, and paired sample t-tests to compare pre- and post-election performance. The findings revealed that prior to the election, the variables Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Revenue Growth did not significantly affect the stock returns of property and real estate companies. However, after the election, only ROA was found to have a significant impact on stock returns, while DER and Revenue Growth continued to show no effect. A comparative analysis of the two periods indicated no significant differences in the financial performance variables (ROA, DER, and Revenue Growth) between the pre- and post-election periods, yet a clear shift in stock returns was observed. This study contributes to the literature by offering a fresh perspective on how political uncertainty affects stock returns, using the framework of signaling theory, trade-off theory, and market efficiency theory to interpret the results.

This study analyzes the effect of profitability ratios (Return On Assets/ROA, Return On Equity/ROE) and leverage ratio (Debt to Equity Ratio/DER) on stock prices of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. The study is motivated by stock market uncertainty influenced by companies’ financial performance. This research employs a quantitative approach with a sample of 14 companies selected through purposive sampling. Secondary data were analyzed using regression to examine the relationship between these variables and stock prices. The results show that, partially, ROA, ROE, and DER have no significant effect on stock prices. However, simultaneously, these variables influence stock prices. These findings suggest that companies should improve asset and equity management efficiency to enhance sustainable profitability. Additionally, companies must optimize capital structure to maintain leverage at an ideal level and minimize financial risk. Future research is recommended to expand the sample, extend the analysis period, and consider macroeconomic factors, market sentiment, and government policies that may affect stock prices.

This study examines the influence of financial structure on enterprise value in consumer-focused firms registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Financial structure, characterized as the proportion of borrowing and equity, plays a significant role in financial management, shaping both business performance and market perception. Utilizing a qualitative method through a literature review, this research gathers and analyzes various sources to evaluate the connection between financial structure and enterprise value. The findings indicate that financial structure can have both positive and negative impacts on enterprise value. Integrating borrowing into the financial structure offers benefits such as tax advantages, enhanced profitability, and a favorable signal to investors. However, excessive reliance on borrowing can result in increased financial burdens, such as higher interest expenses, which may lower enterprise value. These results underscore the importance of maintaining an appropriate debt-to-equity ratio to improve or sustain enterprise value.

This study aims to compare the performance of PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk, and PT Hetzer Medical Indonesia Tbk. The focus of the research is the analysis of financial and operational performance to provide an in-depth understanding of the companies' competitiveness and efficiency within their respective sectors. The study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive-comparative approach. Secondary data were collected from the annual financial reports of each company over a specific period. The analysis was conducted using key financial ratios such as Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Current Ratio (CR). Companies in the healthcare sector tend to have higher profitability ratios compared to those in the building materials sector, although there are variations in debt and asset management efficiency. These performance differences can be attributed to underlying industry factors such as market demand, levels of innovation, and government policies. Companies in the healthcare sector benefit from growth driven by increasing public demand for healthcare services. In contrast, the building materials sector is more vulnerable to economic fluctuations and infrastructure investments. This study concludes that industry sectors and business models have a significant impact on companies' financial performance. Healthcare sector companies demonstrate more stable and promising performance compared to the building materials sector. This study is expected to provide insights for investors in selecting suitable investment portfolios.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on the Net Profit Margin (NPM) of PT Astra International Tbk, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2023 period. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial reports. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation test, and simple linear regression. The results show a negative relationship between DER and NPM, with a correlation coefficient of -0.726, indicating that an increase in DER tends to be followed by a decrease in NPM. However, this relationship is not statistically significant, with a p-value of 0.483. Regression analysis results reveal that DER can only explain 52.7% of the variation in NPM, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables outside this research model. Therefore, although capital structure plays a role in influencing profitability, other factors such as operational efficiency and cost management also need to be considered to improve the company's financial performance.

This research aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio on Return on Equity in insurance sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2023 period. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The research sample was obtained from the annual financial reports of 15 insurance companies selected using purposive sampling techniques, resulting in 90 observations. The research results show that partially, the Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant positive effect on Return on Equity, while the Debt to Asset Ratio also has a significant effect on Return on Equity. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing show that the Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio have a significant positive influence on Return on Equity in insurance companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A high Debt to Equity Ratio can increase profits if managed well, even though it carries financial risks. on the other hand, a Debt to Asset Ratio that is too high can suppress Return on Equity, especially in unstable economic conditions. This research provides insight into managing capital structure optimally to maximize Return on Equity by considering the balance between Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Asset Ratio. Apart from that, the research results can help the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in formulating policies that support the financial stability of insurance companies in Indonesia.
