Hypertension is the main cause of death from cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks, strokes and heart failure. The prevalence of hypertension is increasing rapidly in many countries, placing a large health burden on the health care system and increasing the risk of cardiovascular disorders in this population. The process of implementing community service to the community is carried out in several stages. Activities include checking blood pressure, health education and health consultations. Participants who took part in community service activities were mostly women (76%) with an age range between 45-60 years (68%), the highest education level was junior high school (42%), and people with hypertension level 1 (74%). Community knowledge about hypertension complementary therapy has increased significantly after being given counseling. Hypertension sufferers are advised to consume ginger and mint decoction and check themselves regularly at the nearest health facility.

Insomnia is one of the most common diseases in modern society, with its characteristics being difficulty sleeping at night or failure to maintain effective sleep after sleep. Conventional treatments for existing insomnia have undesirable effects when used for a long time. Treatment with acupuncture and herbs can be used as an alternative and complementary therapy in the treatment of insomnia. Research purposes to determine the effect of a combination of acupuncture and herbal therapy Bai Zi Yang Xin Tang  on client insomnia with heart and kidney disharmony syndrome at Yayasan Dharma Warga Surabaya. Research methods is one group pre-test and post-test design. Respondents in the study amounted to 14 people received acupuncture therapy at point (Feng Chi, An Mian, Bai Hui, Si Shen Cong, Shen Men, Nei Guan, Zu San Li, San Yin Jiao, Tai Xi, Tai Chong) and consumed Bai Zi Yang Xin Tang. The average length of sleep for respondents before therapy was 3.75 ± 0.47 hours and after therapy 6.0 ± 0.65 hours (p < 0.05). The combination of acupuncture and  Bai Zi Yang Xin Tang for insomnia with heart and kidney disharmony syndrome can increase the patient's sleep duration after therapy.

Background: Dysmenorrhea is discomfort in the lower abdomen spreading to the waist which is often experienced by young women aged 12-18 years or even almost all women during menstruation, usually often felt before menstruation or during menstruation. Benson relaxation technique is one of the complementary therapies developed as a relaxation technique that is simple and easy to implement and is a combination of relaxation response techniques with individual belief systems or faith factors. Purpose : Knowing changes in the level of dysmenorrhea in adolescents before and after doing benson relaxation therapy. Method: this application with descriptive research methods and observing events or events that have occurred. Descriptive research is research conducted to describe or describe an event that occurs. Results: handling dysmenorrhea with benson relaxation therapy given for 2 days with 1 time a day for 15 minutes can affect the patient's level of dysmenorrhea so that there are changes in the patient's pain scale. Conclusion: Benson relaxation therapy can reduce the level of dysmenorrhea in adolescents who are experiencing menstrual pain.

Adolescence is a period of transition or transition due to biological and psychological growth, development, and changes. Biological changes are marked by the growth and development of primary sex, while psychological changes are characterized by changes in attitudes, feelings, and emotions. This transitional period is dubbed a period full of storms and stress, because it causes emotional upheaval, anxiety, and discomfort because the teenager is required to adapt and accept all the changes that occur. The role of nurses that can be used is to provide complementary therapies, namely a combination of aromatherapy and music therapy in reducing anxiety during online learning. The method in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test with control group. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 60 respondents. The treatment was given in 4 sessions for 4 weeks. The treatment given is a combination of aromatherapy and music therapy. The measuring instrument used is the RCMAS anxiety instrument. The results of this study showed the effect of giving a combination of aromatherapy and music therapy on adolescent anxiety levels during online learning during the covid-19 pandemic (p <0.05). The results of the study are recommended to be able to reduce anxiety in adolescents during online learning during the covid-19 period.

Background: Hypertension is the highest cause of death in Indonesia. Non-pharmacological therapy that could reduce blood pressure was decoction of avocado leaves. This study aims to determine effectiveness decoction of avocado leaves to blood pressure of hypertensive patients in Siwalankerto Health Center Surabaya. Methods: This research used Quasy experimental one groups pre test-posttest with control design with a quantitative approach. Sampling techniques used was probability sampling with simple random sampling which obtained sample of 30 respondents aged 26-45 years old.15 respondents in the avocado leaves decoction intervention groups and 15 respondents in the control groups. Data analysis was carried out with the help of computer programs by using Paired T-Test. Result: result of the Paired T-Test of systolic and dyastolic blood pressure obtained p = 0,000 with a significance level (p<0,05), meaning that there was an influence between before and after giving treatment of avocado leaves decoction to blood pressure of hypertensive patients in Siwalankerto Health Center Surabaya. Conclusion: The research implication showed that complementary therapies provided by nurses could be a motivation to achieve the goals of hypertension self care.

Hypertension is situation where blood pressure exceeding the limit of normal with blood pressure 140/90 mmHg and which includes non contagious disease. Complementary therapy can reduce the risk of hypertension complications. SEFT therapy one of a complementary therapy that can be used to overcome the problem of increasing blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to carried out SEFT therapy towards decreasing blood pressure in hypertension patients in the built area of Puskesmas Rowosari Semarang. This type of researAch is descriptive using the case study approach method. The criteria used in the case study: primary hypertension patients, hypertension sufferers were able to communicate well, hypertension patients who did not take anti-hypertension drugs. Case study analysis was carried out by processing data through observation of blood pressure before and after SEFT therapy. The results of the case study showed that there was a decrease of blood pressure. Before therapy the blood pressure of  the subject I was 170/110 mmHg decreased to 120/80 mmHg and in subject II before therapy, blood pressure 160/100 decreased to 140/80 mmHg. The recommendation is with control of blood pressure by using SEFT therapy, the society can apply this therapy.

Hypertension is a medical condition in which the systole and diastole pressure abnormally elevate. Q.S. Ar Rahman Murottal is a complementary therapy for lowering blood pressure. This case study aims at describe the effect of Q.S. Ar Rahman Murottal therapy on the blood pressure pattern in patients with hypertension at RSUD Ungaran. The method of this study is descriptive. The subjects of this case study are two Moslem patients with hypertension who have no hearing problems. The data are collected through observation and measurement by using medical tools such as sphygmomanometer and stethoscope before and after the therapy. The result of this study shows that the blood pressure in Subject I decreases from 150/90 mmHg to 120/80 mmHg, while in Subject II the blood pressure decreases from 160/90 mmHg to 120/90 mmHg. It means that Q.S. Ar Rahman Murottal therapy is effective in lowering the blood pressure in patients with hypertension at RSUD Ungaran. It is hoped that this case study can be the beginning of extensive researches in Q.S. Ar Rahman Murottal in lowering the blood pressure in hypertension patients. Hopefully, Ungaran Hospital will make Q.S. Ar Rahman Murottal as an SOP to be given to hypertension as a nonpharmacological therapy for pharmacological therapy.

Hypertension is not infectious disease which occupy the third place in the region’s small-scale Clinics Rowosari Semarang. Less healthy lifestyles as well as stress lead to uncontrolled hypertension and cause various complicatio. Foot reflexiology message is one of complementary therapies with muscle compression techniques giving rise to a relaxing effect and the lower blood pressure. The purpose of this study  is illustrate the aplication of reflexiology message theraphy to lower blood preassurein hypertensive clients.The methods used in this research is a descriptive case study method with case study approach. The subject are 2 people with criteria of age 35-65 years old and suffering from hypertension grade I and II. Intervensions carried out in the form of foot reflexiology massage therapy 30-60  minutes for three days a row. The results of the case study shows that there is a decrease of blood preassure 160/90 mmHg  143/83 mmHg be on subject I and subject II 180/100 mmHg to 155/87 mmHg. Foot reflexiology message therapy is recomended as a nursing intervention in the client management of clients  with hypertension.
