Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common bacterial infection that requires appropriate antibiotic management to prevent complications and antimicrobial resistance. Ceftriaxone and ciprofloxacin are commonly used antibiotics with different clinical indications in UTI treatment. This literature review aims to compare the role of ceftriaxone and ciprofloxacin in the management of urinary tract infections. A narrative literature review was conducted using articles published within the last ten years from PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases. The review focuses on clinical effectiveness, resistance patterns, and therapeutic considerations. The findings indicate that ceftriaxone is primarily used in moderate to severe or complicated UTIs, particularly in hospitalized patients, whereas ciprofloxacin is more frequently used in uncomplicated UTIs in outpatient settings. However, increasing bacterial resistance and safety concerns limit the empirical use of ciprofloxacin. These findings emphasize the importance of rational antibiotic selection based on clinical conditions and local resistance patterns.

The Job Loss Guarantee Program (Jaminan Kehilangan Pekerjaan/JKP) is a social protection scheme designed to support workers affected by employment termination. However, its implementation at the local level still faces significant challenges. This study aims to examine the implementation of the JKP program in handling layoffs at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of Sukabumi Regency. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies as data collection techniques. Data analysis is conducted using Edwards III’s policy implementation model, which focuses on communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The findings reveal that the implementation of the JKP program in Sukabumi Regency has not yet been optimal, as reflected in the low proportion of laid-off workers who successfully receive JKP benefits compared to the total number of layoffs. In terms of communication, policy information has been delivered formally and consistently, but its outreach and intensity remain limited. Resource constraints, particularly in human resources and budget allocation, also hinder effective implementation, despite adequate authority and supporting facilities. Meanwhile, implementers demonstrate a positive disposition and strong commitment, whereas bureaucratic structure issues persist due to the absence of specific standard operating procedures and fragmented institutional roles. This study concludes that strengthening communication, resources, and bureaucratic structure is essential to improve the effectiveness of JKP program implementation at the local level.

Cold compresses or cryotherapy are one of the non-pharmacological therapies often used in nursing practice to help reduce pain, especially in patients with fractures. Fractures are often accompanied by acute pain that can inhibit mobilization, prolong recovery time, and reduce patient comfort. Therefore, a safe, effective, and easy-to-use pain management method is needed. This article was compiled with the aim of identifying and mapping scientific evidence regarding the effectiveness of cold compresses in reducing pain intensity in fracture patients. This study used the Arksey and O'Malley model in conducting the analysis, with articles searched through PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar for the 2021–2025 publication period. The article selection process followed the PRISMA flow. A review of ten articles showed that most studies used quantitative designs, both experimental and quasi-experimental. The results of the analysis of 11 articles consisted of 8 quantitative articles with experimental and quasi-experimental designs, while 2 articles were case studies. These articles generally discuss the effectiveness of cold compresses in reducing pain intensity in fracture patients using various measurement instruments, such as NRS, VAS, Wong-Baker Faces Scale, and Bourbanis Pain Scale. In addition to reducing pain, several studies also reported that cold compresses can reduce edema, increase mobility, and improve patient comfort. However, variations in the duration, frequency, and method of cold compress application were still found, so there is a need to develop a more standardized protocol in nursing practice.

This study aims to analyze the considerations of the judge in the decision of the Kupang District Court No. 81/Pid.Sus-TPK/2022/PN Kpg and the legal implications of the application of Article 3 of the Corruption Eradication Law. This research uses a normative legal method with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results show that the application of Article 3 of the Corruption Eradication Law in this case is incorrect, as the defendant is not a public official and does not have authority over the management of state finances or assets. It was also found that there was a misapplication of the law (error in juris), an error in determining the subject of the law (error in persona), and an inaccuracy in the object of the case (error in objecto). This study concludes that the case is more appropriately classified as an administrative error by state apparatus rather than a corruption crime. Academically, this research reinforces the distinction between administrative law and criminal law regarding corruption. Socially, this research emphasizes the importance of legal certainty protection and the prevention of criminalization of civil society. This study provides an important contribution to the development of legal theory, as well as the protection of individual rights in the context of criminal law.

Koperatives are a form of people-based economic organization that play a strategic role in improving community welfare and strengthening the national economy. However, many cooperatives still face organizational and managerial challenges that limit their economic performance. This study aims to analyze the relationship between cooperative organizational structures, governance mechanisms, and the economic performance of cooperatives in the context of modern economic transformation. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of organizational practices within cooperatives. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving cooperative managers, members, and supervisors selected purposively. The findings indicate that cooperatives with clear organizational structures, professional management, transparent governance, and active member participation tend to demonstrate better economic performance and sustainability. Conversely, weak organizational arrangements and low member involvement are associated with stagnation in cooperative economic activities. These results highlight that organizational quality is a key determinant of cooperative success, not merely financial factors. The study implies that strengthening cooperative governance, improving human resource capacity, and enhancing member participation are essential strategies to increase the competitiveness of cooperatives in the digital economy era. This research contributes to the development of cooperative economic theory and provides practical recommendations for cooperative managers and policymakers.

Academic productivity is a vital indicator of student success in higher education, but it is often hampered by the complexity of tasks, transitions in the learning environment, and digital distractions that trigger procrastination. This phenomenon demands a high degree of adaptability so that students do not become trapped in physical and mental exhaustion due to unmanaged workloads. Therefore, this study aims to analyze in depth the causal relationship between time management skills and academic productivity, as well as investigate their role in mitigating academic stress levels in students. The research method applied is a literature review with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The research data was sourced from secondary data in the form of 21 reputable scientific articles (national and international journals) published between 2020 and 2025. The data analysis process was carried out through the stages of data reduction, synthesis of findings, and narrative conclusion drawing to systematically map the relationship between variables. The results and discussion of the study show that time management has a significant positive correlation with improved learning achievement. Specific indicators such as daily schedule planning, priority setting, and self-regulation have been empirically proven to increase task completion efficiency and Grade Point Average (GPA) achievement. Conversely, poor time management was identified as a major predictor of cognitive overload and exhaustion, especially among students with dense curricula such as engineering majors. This study concludes that mastery of time management is not merely a scheduling tool, but a fundamental cognitive strategy that functions as a coping mechanism to maintain mental health and achieve an optimal study-life balance.

This study examines Terra Drone Indonesia's implementation of management dialogue in addressing crisis communication following a fire at the company's office building. The incident sparked a wave of negative sentiment on Instagram, marked by increased public comments assessing occupational safety, data security, and the company's transparency in conveying information related to the legal process. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method to understand how the company developed a crisis communication strategy through official statements published on social media. Data were analyzed based on dialogic elements of communication, particularly empathy for victims, humanitarian commitment, and the company's position and normative and defensive stance in affirming legal handling and compliance measures. The results show that the company attempted to balance an empathetic narrative to mitigate public pressure with a defensive strategy to maintain institutional legitimacy. However, the dynamics of public opinion on Instagram indicate that the company's response has not fully met the expectations of two-way communication. This is evident in the dominance of one-way communication patterns and the lack of technical clarifications needed by the public, thus creating a productive economic outlook. Overall, dialogic management has been implemented responsively, but has not been optimal in building a space for dialogue and public trust as a whole.

Background: Zinc Oxide Eugenol (ZOE) is the most widely used root canal filling material in primary teeth. Its sedative effect on the pulp and its ability to effectively seal the root canal contribute to the success of pulpectomy procedures. One of the main advantages of ZOE is its slow resorption rate, which allows it to maintain its integrity over time while the primary tooth remains functional. Purpose: ZOE is used to treat reversible pulpitis. Case: An 8-year-old boy came to Soelastri Dental and Oral Hospital complaining of a cavity in his lower left molar that was sensitive to cold. Case Management: The results of clinical and radiographic examinations indicated that the treatment performed in this case was a pulpotomy using ZOE material and a final restoration with SSC. Conclusion: The pulpotomy treatment was evaluated successfully, and the tooth was restored with a stainless steel crown.
