The process of organic matter degradation is an integral part of the ecosystem cycle, which converts complex organic compounds into simpler forms through the activity of microorganisms. Microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes, play an important role in the decomposition of organic matter, whether from household waste, crop residues, or organic industrial waste. This process involves various biochemical mechanisms, such as hydrolysis, fermentation, and oxidation, which are triggered by exocellular enzymes produced by microbes. Environmental factors, such as pH, temperature, humidity, and oxygen content, affect the efficiency of degradation by microorganisms. Several microorganisms, especially those that have the ability to decompose lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose, have been widely applied in organic waste management technologies such as composting, bioremediation, and biogas production. Research on the role of microorganisms in organic matter degradation is not only important for understanding ecosystem dynamics, but also has the potential to support efforts to manage organic waste that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable. This abstract provides a review of the role, mechanisms, and factors that influence organic matter degradation by microorganisms, as well as their applications in environmental technology.

The aim of this research is to see how moderate Muslim culture is depicted in Indonesian religious films by looking at da'wah. Religious films are one of the most effective media for conveying Islamic values to the general public and examining relevant social and ideological dynamics. This research uses narrative analysis as part of a qualitative approach to find features, preaching messages and story elements. The main focus is how religious films help people better understand Islam by encouraging tolerance, inclusion and relevance to modern society. This study found that Indonesian religious films often depict social and spiritual conflicts that prevent Muslims from maintaining moderate values. People who encourage conversation, defend moral principles, and reconcile religious education with contemporary life are representative of moderate Muslims. It is hoped that this research will be a guide for filmmakers who want to make films that depict Islam in a moderate way.

Turnover Intention influenced by a combination of individual, organizational, and work environment factors. In this context, psychological theories such as Herzberg's two-factor theory can help understand this dynamic by dividing factors that influence job satisfaction into motivators and hygiene factors. Motivators, such as recognition and achievement, contribute to higher job satisfaction, while hygiene factors, such as working conditions and management policies, play a role in preventing dissatisfaction. This study aims to explore the relationship between job satisfaction, job stress, managerial support, and employee engagement on turnover intention in various sectors. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Likert scale-based survey to collect data, which were analysed using Pearson correlation tests and multiple linear regression. The results showed that job satisfaction and managerial support have a significant negative relationship with turnover intention, while job stress shows a significant positive relationship. In addition, employee engagement through organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB) has been shown to reduce turnover intention even though the level of job satisfaction is low. This study provides practical implications for organizations to design employee retention strategies through stress management, increasing job satisfaction, and managerial support. This study contributes to the enrichment of the literature on human resource management, particularly in understanding the dynamics of turnover intention, and recommends further research with a longitudinal approach to validate the results in other sectors.

Whistleblowing is a vital mechanism for exposing unethical practices and ensuring accountability in organizations. This systematic literature review explores the interplay between the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) and social influence factors—conformity, compliance, and obedience—in shaping whistleblowing behaviour. The review examines empirical and theoretical studies from 2004 to 2024 to identify how TPB constructs (attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control) integrate with social influence dynamics to influence the intention and action of whistleblowing. The findings highlight that attitudes toward whistleblowing, shaped by personal ethics and organizational culture, significantly influence individuals’ willingness to report misconduct. Subjective norms, reflecting the perceived social pressure to act or remain silent, often intersect with conformity and compliance, either encouraging or deterring whistleblowing. Perceived behavioural control, influenced by organizational support structures and fear of retaliation, determines the feasibility of acting. The role of obedience to authority emerges as a double-edged sword, where supportive leadership fosters whistleblowing while hierarchical pressures discourage it. Furthermore, the review underscores the importance of ethical climates and whistle-blower protection mechanisms in mitigating the negative impact of social pressures. It also identifies gaps in existing research, including the limited exploration of whistleblowing in diverse cultural contexts and the lack of longitudinal studies examining long-term impacts. This study contributes to the literature by providing an integrated framework that combines TPB and social influence theories to understand whistleblowing behaviour. It offers practical insights for policymakers and organizational leaders to design interventions that encourage ethical reporting and protect whistle blowers.

The history of the spread of Islamic education in the early days in Indonesia is an integral part of the process of Islamization of the archipelago that has been going on since the 13th century. Islamic education not only functions as a means of spreading religion, but also as a medium for forming the social, cultural, and intellectual character of the community. This process is carried out through various channels, including the role of ulama, Islamic boarding schools, surau, and mosques as centers of education. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of the process of spreading Islamic education in the early days, by examining various supporting factors such as trade routes, cultural acculturation, and the involvement of local communities. A literature review approach is used to explore relevant literature, including historical manuscripts, current research, and other academic documents. The findings show that the success of Islamic education in the early days cannot be separated from the strategy of cultural adaptation, teaching based on local traditions, and the support of the diaspora ulama community in various regions. Previous research, such as that conducted by Azra, emphasized the importance of the ulama network in Southeast Asia and the contribution of traditional educational institutions in building an inclusive and sustainable Islamic education system. The conclusion of this study confirms that Islamic education in the early days in Indonesia played a significant role in shaping the social structure and religious identity of the community. To strengthen its relevance, further study is needed on the transformation of the early Islamic education system and its implications for the challenges of modern education in Indonesia.

Islam Nusantara is an Islamic concept that integrates Islamic teachings with the local wisdom of the archipelago, offering a moderate, tolerant, and contextual approach. This concept is rooted in the long history of Islamic acculturation with local culture through peaceful channels, arts, and traditions. As a model of thought, Islam Nusantara emphasises the universality of Islam applied according to the local socio-cultural context, prioritising the values of moderation (wasathiyah), interfaith tolerance, and respect for tradition. In religious praxis, Islam Nusantara includes traditions such as tahlilan, slametan, and the Prophet's maulid, which serve as a means of da'wah and strengthening social solidarity. However, challenges such as globalisation and misunderstanding of the concept require a strategic response to keep Islam Nusantara relevant. As a model of thought and practice, Islam Nusantara reflects the flexibility of Islam in dealing with modern dynamics without losing its principles of universality. With an inclusive approach, Islam Nusantara has the potential to inspire Muslim communities around the world to integrate Islamic teachings with local culture in harmony.
