This study aims to thoroughly explore the role of medical check-ups in maintaining the basic physical health of the residents of Sarirogo Village, with a particular focus on the prevention of non-communicable diseases, which have been on the rise in the area. The background of this research is based on the fact that there is a high prevalence of non-communicable diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, that often go undetected in their early stages. This is primarily due to a lack of public awareness about the importance of regular health checkups, as well as limited access to adequate healthcare services. As a result, delayed diagnoses exacerbate the overall health conditions within the community. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method to analyze sources from relevant scientific journals. These sources serve as the theoretical foundation to understand the relationship between the frequency of medical check-ups and the prevention of chronic disease progression. The findings of this study highlight the significant role that medical check-ups play in the early detection of various potentially life-threatening health conditions, thereby preventing the development of more serious illnesses. Based on these findings, this research emphasizes the urgent need to enhance the accessibility of regular medical check-up services for the residents of Sarirogo Village, alongside the necessity to raise collective awareness about the benefits of routine health screenings.

Lemongrass has many benefits that can be processed into processed ingredients in traditional medicine to overcome diseases, especially to relieve leg pain that attacks children and adults. Lemongrass in Manen Kaleka village is quite abundant because it is easy to grow lemongrass in the area. Lemongrass plants are only widely sold in the Manen Kaleka village market only for cooking ingredients and its economic value can be said to be still low because of the level of processing. One of the measures that have been shown to be effective non-pharmacologically to reduce pain is to warm the affected joint. This lemongrass soak can be used in the treatment of pain and relax tense muscles. Plants that have substances as warmers, anti-inflammatories and can smooth blood flow such as lemongrass. Hypertension is a growing epidemic in the United States, with more than 40% of adults aged 45-64 years and more than 70% of adults aged 65 years and older diagnosed with this condition. Hyperglycemia and high cholesterol contribute to damage to blood vessel walls which triggers hypertension. Physical damage due to hypertension is cumulative, so compliance with treatment is the key to preventing serious illnesses such as end-stage kidney disease. In an effort to improve self-management of elderly people with hypertension, health education activities were carried out at the Wesabbe Complex, working area of the Tamalanrea Community Health Center, Makassar, involving 30 participants. The activity lasted for two days and included lectures, discussions, distribution of leaflets, and blood pressure checks. The results showed an increase in self-management, where before the activity, 66.7% of participants had poor self-management, but after education, 86.7% of participants showed a significant increase in self-management. The evaluation showed an increase in participants' knowledge in hypertension management, including the ability to control blood pressure and recognize signs of increased blood pressure. Conclusion: Health education has proven effective in improving self-management of elderly people with hypertension, which has an impact on increasing their ability to control blood pressure and make health decisions independently. It is recommended that more adequate facilities and infrastructure be provided to support activities to improve public health in the Wesabbe Complex in the Tamalanrea Makassar Health Center Working Area.

After the enactment of Presidential Decree no. 12 of 2020 and PP no. 21 of 2020 regarding Covid-19 and PSBB, many public services experienced disruption, including marriage services. To avoid crowds at the District KUA, the number of marriage ceremonies is limited to eight couples per day. However, the Kabanjahe District KUA reported an increase in marriage requests in recent times, especially during the pandemic. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on marriage contracts at the KUA Kabanjahe District in 2022, with a focus on the implementation of Presidential Decree no. 12 of 2020 and PP no. 21 of 2020, especially the principle of mashlahah murlahah, is considered impermissible because it can cause harm or damage to humanity. This legal determination is based on the principle of ushul fiqh which states that "rejecting damage must take precedence over bringing benefit". In this context, the damage referred to is the risk of spreading Covid-19 among the Walimatul 'Ursy participants. Meanwhile, bringing benefit means continuing to carry out walimatul 'ursy as a form of notification to the public about the existence of a bond between the bride and groom's families. Supporting factors for this include good coordination between the KUA and assistants such as the Covid-19 officer unit, health educators and community leaders who are aware of social restrictions. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of public awareness regarding the importance of complying with regulations.

The rapid development of information technology affects the way people access information, including in the health sector. Prostate cancer, as one of the most significant types of cancer in men, is often detected late due to lack of information and limited costs. To overcome this problem, a system is needed that is able to diagnose prostate cancer quickly, precisely, and accurately. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system using the Certainty Factor (CF) method to diagnose prostate cancer based on the symptoms that appear. The CF method was chosen because of its ability to determine the level of confidence in the facts or rules used in the diagnosis. This study uses data on symptoms and types of prostate cancer. The results of the study can help the public in recognizing prostate cancer symptoms early, with a high level of accuracy in diagnosis. This study is expected to make it easier for patients to make an early diagnosis and accelerate the treatment of prostate cancer.

This study examines the influence of patriarchal culture on the career choices of final year female students at Sahid University Surakarta. Using qualitative methods, data was collected through in-depth interviews with seven main informants and two supporting informants. The results showed that patriarchal culture significantly influences the career choices of female college students, with men dominating important positions in academic and professional environments. Female college students face limited career opportunities in education and social fields, while leadership roles are dominated by men. While reproductive health services are generally adequate, the quality of off-campus facilities needs to be improved. Women also feel less safe in public spaces and their participation in public activities and economic decision-making remains limited. This research suggests universities provide mentoring programs and leadership training for female students, offer diverse internship opportunities, and promote gender equality through educational campaigns and supportive policies. This research is expected to provide new insights into the influence of patriarchal culture on women's career choices.
