The phenomenon of rapidly developing life is occurring swiftly in human life. This rapid development certainly poses challenges for human life. Car Free Day is one of the activities designed by the government to address these challenges. The success of this program can be seen from the level of public participation. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of community participation in sports activities during Car Free Day in Gresik Regency. Additionally, this study identifies that public participation in Car Free Day is also influenced by several factors, such as the sports activities available during Car Free Day, the number of interesting attractions at Car Free Day, the location of the Car Free Day event, the weather, the facilities provided, and the safety during the event. The method used in this research is a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to Car Free Day participants and direct observation at the event location. The research results show that the level of public participation in sports activities during Car Free Day in Gresik Regency is relatively high, with 46.7% rarely participating in Car Free Day activities. Most respondents who participate in Car Free Day activities are primarily motivated by the desire to exercise. The most common exercise among respondents is walking. The majority of respondents are male. Furthermore, most respondents are in the 15-25 age group, which is the student age group. Based on this, the researchers recommend increasing public participation in Car Free Day in Gresik Regency. These recommendations include adding and improving the quality of sports facilities, adding more diverse and interesting programs, and promoting the benefits of exercise. Thus, it is hoped that Car Free Day can become a means to encourage the community to adopt a healthy lifestyle through exercise.

This study uses empirical juridical research, which is research with field data as the main source of data, such as the results of interviews and observations, with the aim of analyzing and describing the law enforcement model for cases of corruption in the development funds of the Waigete Health Center. as well as identifying and analyzing factors that hinder law enforcement in the case of corruption of the Waigete Health Center development funds. The results of the discussion in this study show that, (1). The Waigete  Health Center uses the Due Process Model which emphasizes the need to ensure that every individual has the right to be treated fairly and has access to an independent court including investigation, prosecution, and fair justice. and the right to appeal, but with strict legal procedures, this model slows down the process of resolving cases.  The crime eradication process focuses more on the interests of the rights of suspects than on the public interest, so according to researchers in the process of resolving corruption cases, this model is not appropriate to use because it emphasizes justice and human rights but also has the potential to slow down the legal process. (2). The factors that hinder law enforcement in handling corruption cases of the Waigete Health Center development fund consist of two factors, namely internal factors, namely the lack of prosecutors who slow down the law enforcement process and reduce the effectiveness of case handling, and external factors, namely the slow examination process and the loss calculation process so as to hinder law enforcement.

This study examines the transformation of waqf in the digital era through the waqf crowdfunding model and cash waqf savings products from the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. Waqf, which is traditionally manifested in the form of immovable assets, has now developed into movable assets such as cash waqf, supported by Law No. 41 of 2004. Digital innovations, such as waqf crowdfunding, allow wider community participation with small amounts for productive social projects, while cash waqf savings products in Islamic banking manage funds productively with the proceeds channeled to education, health, and public infrastructure. Despite having great potential in socio-economic development and in line with the Hifdzu Maal principle in Maqashid Syariah, the implementation of digital waqf still faces challenges such as unclear regulations, lack of public awareness, risk of mismanagement, and limited investment. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, case studies, and normative-sociological with in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies as data collection techniques. The research subjects were selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, as well as triangulation of sources and methods for data validity. The results of the study are expected to provide theoretical contributions and practical recommendations for the management of digital waqf that is professional, transparent, and beneficial to the community.

This study investigates the impact of social protection expenditure on income inequality and Human Development Index (HDI) across multiple countries from 2000 to 2020. Using panel data regression analysis, the study explores whether higher public social spending on healthcare, education, and social services significantly reduces income inequality, as measured by the Gini coefficient, and enhances HDI. The results indicate a strong positive correlation between social protection spending and both reduced inequality and improved HDI. Specifically, countries with higher social protection expenditure, especially those with social-democratic welfare models, exhibit lower income inequality and higher HDI scores. The analysis also highlights significant country-level differences, revealing that while high-income countries with comprehensive social protection systems tend to perform better in terms of human development, low- and middle-income countries with limited spending face persistent challenges in reducing inequality and improving HDI. Further, the study discusses the mechanisms through which social protection policies influence human development, particularly through improved access to education, healthcare, and social services. The findings suggest that integrating social protection with broader economic policies can lead to sustainable reductions in inequality and improvements in human development outcomes. The study contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the role of social protection in fostering inclusive growth and human development, emphasizing the need for more comprehensive and efficient social protection systems, especially in developing countries.

Traffic accidents are a very serious health problem in the world which causes death and is ranked 9th in the world. Indonesia is ranked 5th in the world as the country with the highest traffic accident rate. This research aims to determine the application of criminal sanctions by judges to perpetrators of criminal traffic accidents that result in death. The location for data collection in this research is at the Deli Serdang Police Traffic Unit Gakkum Unit which is located on Jl. Sudirman, No. 18. Lubuk Pakam, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The type of research used in this research is empirical research, namely legal research carried out by examining library materials or secondary data consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. These materials are arranged systematically, studied, then a conclusion is drawn in relation to the problem being studied. The data analysis technique used in this legal research uses qualitative analysis.  Based on the results of research conducted by Government Regulation no. 37 of 2017 also strengthens the importance of supervision and law enforcement in the field of traffic safety, underlining the need for traffic engineering and improved traffic management to prevent accidents. The research concludes that legal regulations are adequate, but their implementation in the field still requires strengthening, especially in consistently enforcing criminal sanctions. In decision 1271/Pid.Sus/2022/PN/Lbp, there are a number of important factors which are the judge's main considerations in imposing criminal sanctions on perpetrators of traffic accidents that cause death. First, the defendant's negligence factor is the main key in determining sanctions. The judge considered that the defendant's negligence, who was driving the vehicle while tired and sleepy, was the main cause of the accident. Crimes related to traffic accidents also refer to Articles 359 and 360 of the Criminal Code for cases involving death or injury due to negligence. Obligations for public transport companies involved in accidents are also regulated in the LLAJ Law, which includes the obligation to compensate passengers or goods owners. The implementation of this law shows that even though the rules have been stipulated in detail, the effectiveness of law enforcement is still influenced by law enforcement facilities and infrastructure as well as community behavior in complying with applicable rules. It can be concluded that the Criminal Code (KUHP) and Law no. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation has provided a clear legal basis. Article 359 of the Criminal Code regulates negligence that results in the death of another person with the threat of a prison sentence of up to five years. In decision 1271/Pid.Sus/2022/PN/Lbp, there are a number of important factors which are the judge's main considerations in imposing criminal sanctions on perpetrators of traffic accidents that cause death. In its application the judge imposed a lighter sentence compared to the maximum sentence regulated in Article 310 paragraph (4) of the Traffic Law, although he still took into account the serious consequences of the defendant's negligence which caused the fatal accident.

The phenomenon of hoaxes in the digital era has become a serious threat to social stability, democracy, and national security. Although the government has implemented various regulations, such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), the spread of hoaxes is still difficult to control. This article analyzes the development of legal awareness in overcoming hoaxes in Indonesia from a criminological perspective. With a literature study approach, this study highlights the weak legal awareness of the community as the main factor in the spread of hoaxes. Empirical studies show that political hoaxes dominate, with 55.5% of the total hoaxes identified in 2023, while 65% of hoaxes spread through closed WhatsApp groups. Criminological analysis uses several theories, such as the Theory of Crime Routines, Anomie Theory, and Differential Association Theory, which explain how weak social control and low legal culture make it easier for individuals to be involved in the spread of hoaxes. The results of this study recommend strategies to increase legal awareness through the integration of digital literacy in education, collaboration between the government and digital platforms, and strengthening policy-based regulations such as the NetzDG Law in Germany. With a systematic and data-based approach, it is hoped that public legal awareness will increase, so that it can reduce the spread of hoaxes and create a healthier and more responsible digital environment.

This research is entitled Analysis of Waqf Land Management in Creating Community Welfare (Case Study of Mandiangin District). The research method used by researchers is a qualitative approach. The results of this research are: 1) The management of waqf land in Suka Maju Village includes: the waqf land manager receives waqf land from the community in Suka Maju Village, then the waqf land manager manages the waqf land, after that allocates the results of managing the waqf land to various community needs in Suka Maju Village. Meanwhile, the waqf land in Suka Maju Village itself comes from the community in Suka Maju Village. After the acceptance stage of the waqf land has been accommodated, the next stage is the stage of managing and allocating the waqf land which is distributed to the Suka Maju Village Government with the general aim of religious and public interests. There are 6 waqf lands in Suka Maju Village until 2023 which come from the Suka Maju Village community with different land sizes. Meanwhile, the use of waqf land in Suka Maju Village is used in 2 sectors, namely 1) Education sector. The waqf land collected in Suka Maju Village is used for the education sector with an area of 600m2, namely for the construction of elementary schools and PAUD. 2) Religious sector, waqf land collected in Suka Maju Village, is used for the religious sector with an area of 1200m2, namely for the construction of mosques and prayer rooms. 2) The impact of wakah land management in creating welfare for the people of Suka Maju Village can be seen from 4 indicators of community welfare, namely income, health, education and religion. In the dimension of health or care for the soul in an Islamic perspective, the role of waqf land in Suka Maju Village has not succeeded in realizing care for the soul as measured by the community's ability to easily get access to health cards, health access services and the ability to provide treatment if a family member is sick. In terms of the development of the educational dimension or maintenance of reason in the management of waqf land, the impact of waqf land in Suka Maju Village has been to be able to meet the educational needs of the village community in the form of sending children in Suka Maju Village to school at the formal education level. In the development of the income or asset maintenance dimension in asset allocation, the existence of waqf land in Suka Maju Village has not been able to provide an impact or contribution to the income of the community or the village government. From a religious perspective, the existence of a religious institution that stands on waqf land in Suka Maju Village has had a positive impact in improving community welfare in the religious sector in the form of increasing piety. Therefore, the Suka Maju Village Government has carried out the role of waqf land in the form of religious protection or hifdz a-din, namely creating prosperity from a religious perspective.

The consumption of carrion is a sensitive topic regulated in various religious traditions, including Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. Generally, Islam prohibits the consumption of carrion, except in situations where there are significant concerns regarding survival. This religious perspective aims to enforce strict adherence to maintain the sanctity and health of society. The health perspective highlights carrion as a dangerous food source because it has the potential to be contaminated with bacteria, parasites, or toxins, posing risks of diseases such as bacterial infections, food poisoning, and parasitosis. As a result, both the religious perspective and the health viewpoint agree on the warnings regarding the dangers of carrion, except in emergency situations with high ethical considerations or surgical interventions in severe cases. The purpose of this article is to explore the reasons behind the individual prohibition of consuming carrion from both religious and health perspectives and its effects on public health.

Iskandar Suhardi, Evaluation of Health Protocol Enforcement Performance by Members of the Merdeka Post during the Covid-19 Period by the Palembang City Fire and Disaster Management Service. This study aims to analyze the Performance Evaluation of Health Protocol Enforcement by Members of the Merdeka Post during the Covid-19 Period by the Palembang City Fire and Disaster Management Service. The study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that in the application of the health protocol itself in a combined unit of several elements and agencies, it has several weaknesses, first from the community side who really underestimates the Corona virus, then from the officers themselves there is still minimal knowledge in providing education about the importance of complying with health protocol. The enforcement of health protocols did not go as expected, based on the health protocol policy itself, because there were several aspects, where in fact not all people believed in the existence of the corona virus, some even said that this corona was just a political conspiracy and the like, so that officers had difficulty in enforcement of health protocols. In 2020-2021 the health protocol policy is going quite well, people still have fear and vigilance about the spread of the corona virus, but in the course of time and being supported by people who have been vaccinated 1 and 2, it makes people feel safer, so that strict adherence to simple wearing a mask is no longer obeyed, not to mention other things such as washing hands and so on. The implementation of this health protocol policy has many obstacles and the weak side is public awareness and the pros and cons regarding the presence or absence of the corona virus, so that some people do not obey the applicable rules, and this makes it difficult for officers to carry out the policies that have been determined. So in this case the officer must have the right technique or method so that the implementation process can be easier.

This article discusses the family planning program in Indonesia from an Islamic perspective. Indonesia, as a country with the largest Muslim population, faces challenges in managing population growth. Family planning, which began in 1968, aims to improve family welfare by regulating the number and spacing of children. Although there is controversy among the public regarding the acceptance of this program, many scholars consider it a positive step if done with good intentions. The research method used is journal review and descriptive, focusing on the views of scholars and related literature. This article explains the definition of family planning, its objectives, the types of contraceptives used, as well as the views of Islamic law regarding its implementation. Some scholars state that the use of temporary contraception is permissible, as long as it does not absolutely deny the gift of offspring. In contrast, permanent methods such as vasectomy and tubectomy are prohibited unless there are medical reasons. In conclusion, Islam provides room for the practice of family planning under certain conditions, promoting family welfare and reproductive health without violating the principles of sharia.
