This study examines the contributions of Imam Abu Hasan Al-Ash'ari and Imam Abu Mansur Al-Maturidi in shaping the Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah (Aswaja) school of thought and its implications for Islamic education. Both imams are considered foundational figures in Islamic theology, and their ideas have influenced the development of the creed (aqidah), Islamic theology (ilm al-kalam), and Islamic philosophy in various Islamic educational institutions throughout history. Through a qualitative research method with a literature review approach, this study analyzes both primary and secondary sources, including classical texts and modern interpretations, to assess the relevance of their thoughts in the context of contemporary Islamic education systems. The findings indicate that the Ash‘arite and Maturidite theological frameworks, which emphasize the balance between revelation and rationality, have been instrumental in shaping curricula, teaching methodologies, and approaches to religious understanding. The concept of moderation, or wasatiyyah, in both theological schools is central to this approach, encouraging a balanced interpretation of Islamic teachings that addresses modern challenges. The study concludes that integrating the principles of Ash‘arite and Maturidite theology into contemporary educational practices offers valuable insights into fostering a more inclusive, balanced, and rational approach to Islamic learning.

This paper examines the implementation of the value of ta'awun (cooperation) in the process of collecting the Qur'anic manuscripts during the time of the companions as an inspiration for the development of an inclusive and equitable sharia economy. The collection of the Qur'anic manuscripts was a collective effort involving the companions, qira'at experts, and writers of revelation to maintain the purity of revelation and prevent division of the Muslim community. The value of cooperation reflected in the process is in line with the basic principles of sharia economics such as distributive justice, empowerment of the community, and inclusiveness. By using the library research method with a descriptive analysis approach, this study found that the application of the value of ta'awun can strengthen sharia economic practices through a fair partnership model and investment oriented towards collective welfare. In addition, this value also encourages the creation of an economic system that is not only based on efficiency, but also on ethics and sustainability. Thus, this study provides a conceptual contribution in linking Islamic traditions with contemporary economic practices, creating a harmonious ecosystem between spiritual values and material goals.

Ahlussunnah Wal Jama’ah (Aswaja) is an Islamic doctrine based on the Qur’an, Hadith, and the understanding of the companions and early scholars. This study aims to examine the Qur’anic and Hadith-based evidence that legitimizes Aswaja and its relevance to Islamic education. The research employs a literature review method, analyzing primary sources such as classical and contemporary tafsir books, major Hadith collections (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Tirmidhi), and scholarly works by figures like Imam Ash’ari and Al-Ghazali. The findings indicate that Qur’anic verses, such as Surah Al-An’am (6:153) and Surah Ali Imran (3:103), emphasize the importance of adhering to the straight path, which is a central tenet of Aswaja. Furthermore, the Hadith on the division of the Muslim ummah into 73 sects supports Aswaja’s position as al-firqah an-najiyah (the saved sect). These sources provide textual legitimacy to the doctrine of Aswaja, affirming its central role in preserving Islamic unity. The implications for Islamic education are significant, including the integration of Aswaja values into curricula, the promotion of a moderate and balanced understanding of Islam, and the strengthening of faith based on authentic textual evidence. By incorporating Aswaja principles, educators can foster an environment that prioritizes tolerance, inclusivity, and intellectual engagement within Islamic educational settings. This study contributes to reinforcing a moderate and tolerant Islamic approach, promoting a harmonious balance between tradition and modernity in educational contexts.

The phenomenon of throning, which refers to the practice of seeking partners with high social status to enhance self-image, is increasingly prevalent among Generation Z. Although it may seem appealing, throning poses negative issues such as unrealistic expectations, a transactional view of relationships, and the potential for unhappiness that impacts individuals' mental health. This article aims to critically analyze throning behavior from the perspective of Christian Religious Education, emphasizing the importance of spiritual values in building healthy relationships. The research method employed is qualitative, using a literature review approach that involves analyzing written sources related to throning and Christian Religious Education. The findings indicate that throning contradicts the pursuit of a life partner, as well as the principles of love and respect for the intrinsic value of individuals taught in the Bible. The study concludes by affirming the need for a holistic approach to understanding relationships, grounded in spiritual values rather than social status. Recommendations for future research include more in-depth empirical studies on the impact of throning on mental health and interpersonal relationships, as well as a deeper exploration of Biblical knowledge, which highlights the importance of moral and spiritual values in relationship contexts, even in the digital age. It is hoped that individuals can build more authentic relationships through the lens of the Bible and glorify God.

Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning the Basic Agrarian Principles Article 5 states that customary law in the context of land sale and purchase adheres to the principles of clarity and cash payment. Therefore, the drafting of a land sale and purchase deed is not mandatory to require full payment as long as both parties agree. However, this often leads to legal issues later, including cases where the seller commits a breach of contract (default). For this reason, the author conducted this study with the following research questions: 1. What are the legal consequences of the sale and purchase deed concerning default in land sale and purchase transactions carried out by the buyer? 2. How is the legal protection for the seller in the event of a default in a land sale and purchase transaction? The theories used to address these research questions are, first, the theory of agreements, and second, the theory of legal protection. This study employs normative legal research. The research approaches used include a legislative approach and a case approach. The legal material collection technique involves identifying and inventorying positive legal regulations, books, journals, and other legal material sources. Legal material analysis techniques are conducted through grammatical interpretation and legal construction methods. The research findings indicate that land sale and purchase transactions under the principles of clarity and cash payment allow for the drafting of sale and purchase deeds even though the transaction has not been fully paid by the buyer. This creates an opportunity for the seller to commit a breach of contract in such transactions, revealing a lack of preventive legal protection for the buyer. The legal consequence of the sale and purchase deed is that it lacks legal force if it can be proven that a breach of contract occurred during its drafting.

The development of digitalization has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including employment relations. One of the innovations that has emerged is the use of digital employment contracts as a replacement for paper-based contracts. Digital employment contracts offer flexibility and efficiency in modern employment relations. However, in Indonesia, legal regulations related to digital employment contracts still face major challenges, considering the absence of regulations that specifically accommodate this mechanism. Article 52 of Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower only regulates the requirements for the validity of an employment contract without mentioning the use of electronic documents, while Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE) has recognized the validity of electronic documents. This study aims to analyze the regulation of digital employment contracts in Indonesia, compare them with regulations in other countries, and provide policy recommendations to ensure legal protection for workers in the digitalization era. The method used is a normative legal approach with comparative legal analysis of countries such as the European Union and the United States. The results of the study show that although digital employment contracts are legally valid in Indonesia, there are still legal gaps related to the protection of workers' rights, supervision of implementation, and protection of personal data. Therefore, it is necessary to update regulations that are adaptive to technological developments, including the integration of the principles of justice, legal certainty, and protection of workers' rights in digital employment contracts.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the principle of good faith in endorsement agreements between online shops and influencers. This principle requires each party to act honestly, transparently, and fulfill their obligations in accordance with the agreement. However, in practice, endorsement agreements often face obstacles, especially in meeting the agreed promotion schedule. This research uses an empirical legal method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from interviews with online shop owners, literature studies, and document analysis of endorsement agreements. The results showed that the implementation of the principle of good faith was not optimal, especially at the post-contract stage. Influencers postponed uploads several times without clear certainty, causing uncertainty for online shops in their marketing strategies. The absence of a penalty mechanism in the agreement left online shops without legal protection against such delays. This research emphasizes the importance of drafting more detailed agreements and ensuring transparent communication between the parties to ensure that the endorsement agreement runs in accordance with the principle of good faith. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide insights for online shops and influencers in designing endorsement agreements that are clearer and beneficial for both parties.

Indonesia is a country that recognizes two major concepts and then they implement them, such as the Republic and Democracy systems. The two concepts are even stronger presented in the 1945 Constitution as the main part and at the same time a source of pride. However, Indonesia does not really practice the two concepts in reality because they have eliminated one important part of the general problem, namely the position of citizens and their rights in the country. The phenomenon of marginalizing left-wing politics is a tragedy in Indonesian history that makes the construction of the paradigm of Indonesian society consider that left-wing politics is too radical, anarchic and dangerous for Indonesia. so that the steps they take are to stay away from the world of left-wing politics which results in an imbalance between the government and citizens, a gap where the government together with the capitalists compete in progress and happiness, while ordinary people in Indonesia try and fight to stay alive. Left-wing politics is part of one way to apply the principles of Pancasila, especially the fourth and fifth principles. Left-wing politics basically offers a humanitarian struggle, so Indonesia needs that principle to revive national values in the form of real changes to better steps.

The Indonesian National Army Law (UU TNI) is a legal product that regulates the role, function and authority of the TNI in the Indonesian constitutional system. In the context of this policy, the power apparatus plays a role in the formation, implementation and supervision of regulations governing the TNI. The power apparatus includes the executive, legislative, and actors who have an interest in the state's defense and security structure. In policy formation, political actors and government institutions play a dominant role in formulating regulations that balance civilian and military interests. The implementation of the TNI Law is also greatly influenced by how power is exercised, both in the defense bureaucratic aspect and in the relationship between the military and the civilian government. The tendency for politicization of military institutions can occur if there is excessive intervention from political power in determining strategic defense policies. Apart from that, the power dynamics in the TNI Law policy are also related to how control and supervision mechanisms are implemented. Security sector reform requires a balance between civilian supremacy and military professionalism to ensure that the regulations made do not conflict with democratic principles. Therefore, understanding the power apparatus in the TNI Law policy is important in examining the extent of the role and influence of political actors on the regulations governing military institutions in Indonesia.

The accuracy of qibla direction remains a significant challenge for Muslim communities, particularly in educational institutions where misconceptions about qibla measurement methods persist. This community service program addressed the need for accessible astronomical literacy among students at Pondok Pesantren As'ad Jambi by introducing protractor-based qibla measurement techniques. Implemented on November 11, 2023, the program engaged 90 participants comprising Madrasah Aliyah students and Ma'had Aly Ibrahimi students through an integrated approach combining theoretical exposition and hands-on practice. The intervention utilized a dual-method framework: interactive lectures elucidating Islamic jurisprudence and astronomical principles of qibla determination, followed by direct application of protractor measurement techniques. Evaluation through participant observation and post-activity assessment revealed substantial knowledge enhancement and practical skill acquisition among attendees. Participants demonstrated improved understanding of qibla direction concepts and gained confidence in applying measurement techniques independently. The program's success manifested in heightened enthusiasm for astronomy-based religious practices and increased capacity for autonomous qibla verification at household level. This initiative contributes to bridging traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary scientific methodologies, fostering critical thinking in ritual observance while preserving religious authenticity.

The phenomenon of sea fencing in Tangerang's coastal areas has sparked various debates from legal, social and environmental perspectives. This action raises questions regarding compliance with the principles of international law of the sea, particularly the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), which regulates public access rights to waters. In the context of national law, regulations such as Law No. 32/2014 on Maritime Affairs and Law No. 1/2014 on the Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands emphasize that public access to the sea must be managed in a fair and sustainable manner. This research aims to examine the juridical aspects of sea fencing using the approaches of international law of the sea and Indonesian national law. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various legal sources, scientific journals, and similar case studies in other countries. Descriptive-analytical analysis was conducted to assess the conformity of sea fencing with UNCLOS principles as well as its impact on the rights of coastal communities and the environment. The results of the study show that sea fencing in coastal Tangerang has the potential to violate the principles of UNCLOS 1982 and harm coastal communities who depend on the sea as a source of life. In addition, this action also risks causing ecological impacts that can disrupt the balance of the coastal environment. Therefore, stricter regulations and effective supervision are needed to ensure that marine area utilization policies remain in line with international and national law and do not harm the public interest.

This study analyzes the implementation of the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) at Alfapro Stationery. The analysis results indicate that Alfapro Stationery has applied several basic principles of SAK EMKM in preparing its financial statements, such as recognizing fixed assets based on acquisition costs, recording inventory, and recognizing revenue and expenses. The financial statements prepared include the statement of financial position, income statement, and notes to the financial statements, supported by a computer-based accounting system (AIO System) that helps generate automatic financial reports every month, thereby increasing accuracy and transparency. However, Alfapro Stationery has not been able to separate personal and business assets, violating the "Separate Economic Entity" concept, which is fundamental in preparing financial statements according to SAK EMKM. Although the company's financial statements formally appear to meet the requirements of SAK EMKM, the lack of clear separation between personal and business assets indicates non-compliance with the standard. Further research can focus on a more in-depth analysis of the effectiveness of the internal control system, evaluating the impact of the latest technology on store operations, better human resource management strategies, and comparative studies with other UMKM that have best practices. This aims to provide broader perspectives and innovative solutions to be implemented at Alfapro Stationery.

The inability of rural banks to adapt to the changing global landscape, particularly owing to globalisation, could also have adverse effects on economically disadvantaged populations. This research aims to examine the dynamics of regulating rural banks in Indonesia, the pressing need for legal reforms in rural banks to address the problems posed by globalisation, and the legal reforms for rural banks that are based on the Values of Pancasila. The study methodology employed is the Normative Juridical approach. The research findings suggest that initially, the licencing and activities of the rural bank required permission from the Minister of Finance. However, after the amendment of Law Number 7 of 1992 concerning Banking with Law Number 10 of 1998, the licence for rural banks is now granted by the leadership of Bank Indonesia, as stated in Article 16 paragraph. Globalisation has a significant impact on community life, leading to the emergence of new requirements. One of these requirements is the need for easier transactions, which can be achieved through the digitalisation of banking or the provision of electronic banking facilities. Consequently, legal reforms for banking institutions need to be implemented, taking into account the noble values of the nation as reflected in the moral principles of Pancasila. These values include morality, respect, protection of human rights without discrimination, unity, social justice in the economic and community sectors, and the realisation of people’s sovereignty and adherence to the law.
