Handaka Vijjananda's Buddhist comic "Aṅgulimāla: True Repentance" depicts the repentance of a ruthless murderer who undergoes spiritual transformation after meeting Gautama Buddha. This story not only conveys Buddhist moral teachings but also reflects the social, cultural, and religious dynamics of ancient Indian society. This study aims to analyze the intrinsic and genetic structures of the Buddhist comic "Aṅgulimāla" using Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism approach. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with the primary data source being the comic "Aṅgulimāla." Data collection techniques were conducted through intensive reading and note-taking, while data analysis was conducted by linking the intrinsic elements of the literary work with the socio-historical context and the author's worldview. The results show that the intrinsic structure of the comic "Aṅgulimāla" includes themes of repentance, karma, loving-kindness (metta), and wisdom; strong characters and characterizations; a progressive plot; internal and external conflicts; and a time, place, and social setting that reflect 6th-century BCE Indian society. Meanwhile, its genetic structure reveals human facts such as the caste system, power relations, and social morality, as well as the author's worldview, which emphasizes Buddhist values such as compassion, self-transformation, and hope for human moral change. Thus, genetic structuralism analysis confirms that the comic Aṅgulimāla is a literary work that is not only narrative in nature but also reflects social realities and humanitarian messages relevant to modern life.

As global pressure for decarbonizing the maritime sector intensifies, ports worldwide, including in Indonesia, are facing demands to transform into green ports. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the multidimensional challenges and complex stakeholder dynamics in the implementation of the green port concept in Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative method based on a documentary study, this research integrates Stakeholder Theory and Institutional Theory to dissect the interactions among actors and the external pressures shaping sustainability strategies. The main findings indicate that the green transition in Indonesian ports is hindered by three primary challenges: (1) economic constraints related to high investment and operational costs, (2) socio-economic trade-offs that risk impeding regional economic growth, and (3) fragmented governance among government institutions. Stakeholder analysis identifies fundamental conflicts of interest among the government, port operators, the private sector, and local communities. The implication of this research is the need for a shift from showcase projects to a holistic, systemic transformation, supported by a robust multi-stakeholder governance platform and effective incentive schemes to encourage widespread adoption of green technology.

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of parental working hours and family socio-economic conditions on children's cognitive development within Indonesian Muslim households. This research uses data from the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) waves 4 and 5, employing fixed effect regression methodology with Stata 15.1 software. The study sample includes children from Muslim households aged 7-14 years in IFLS 4 and the same individuals aged 14-22 years in IFLS 5. The findings indicate that father’s working hours have a significant positive effect on children's cognitive development. Higher income from longer working hours enables fathers to meet children's basic needs, such as education and healthcare, which contributes to improving their well-being and cognitive abilities. However, mothers' working hours do not significantly affect children's cognitive development. Socio-economic factors, such as children's education, also have a significant positive impact on their cognitive abilities, while children's employment status has a significant negative impact. Overall, longer fathers' working hours contribute to increased family income, which ultimately supports improved socio-economic conditions and children's cognitive development. This study provides new insights into the dynamics of Muslim families and policy recommendations to support family well-being and education based on Islamic values.

This study aims to analyze the design of Indonesian horror film posters through Pierre Bourdieu's sociological lens. The main focus of the study is to understand how the visual elements in the poster reflect the social dynamics, culture, and structure of the film industry. By using the concepts of habitus, capital (cultural, symbolic, economic), field, doxa, and social reproduction, this study reveals that the design of horror film posters not only functions as a promotional tool, but also as a medium that reproduces local cultural values and community beliefs about the supernatural world. Elements such as traditional ghosts such as genderuwo, kuntilanak and mystical symbols such as keris, offerings, then there are dark colors, and a scary atmosphere reflect the habits of audiences who are familiar with local myths. This study also shows that horror film posters reproduce stereotypes about the relationship between humans and the supernatural world, and strengthen the hierarchy of spiritual power through visual symbols. These findings confirm the relevance of Bourdieu's theory in understanding cultural phenomena through visual media. This study is expected to provide new insights for filmmakers, graphic designers, and students in understanding the interaction between culture, aesthetics, and the film industry.

This study examines the evolving global geopolitical landscape and its implications for Indonesia's diplomacy, focusing on economic, political, and security dimensions. The intensifying rivalry between the United States and China has reshaped global trade, investment flows, and regional security dynamics, posing both challenges and opportunities for Indonesia. Politically, Indonesia must navigate regional tensions, such as the South China Sea dispute, while reinforcing its leadership within ASEAN. Economically, global uncertainties stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, supply chain disruptions, and energy crises necessitate a more proactive economic diplomacy strategy to attract investment and strengthen trade partnerships. In the security domain, emerging threats such as cyber warfare, climate change, and terrorism underscore the urgency of Indonesia's active engagement in international security frameworks. This research employs a qualitative methodology, using a literature review of policy documents, academic publications, and international reports to assess Indonesia's current diplomatic efforts and their effectiveness in addressing the changing global order. The findings indicate that Indonesia faces three primary challenges: maintaining strategic neutrality in great-power competition, ensuring regional stability, and enhancing economic resilience. Strengthening multilateral diplomatic engagements and leveraging Indonesia's position within regional and international organizations is essential for the country to navigate these geopolitical transformations effectively and safeguard its national interests in an increasingly complex global environment.
