Physics learning in high schools is often facing challenges due to lack of laboratory facilities, especially for abstract topics such as electron deflection. Limited equipment often results in a theoretical learning process without real-world practical experience. This community service activity aims to address this gap by assisting with electron deflection experiments at a high school in Surabaya. The methods applied included preparation and coordination, provision of equipment, inquiry-based learning design, classroom experiment implementation, and activity evaluation. During the program, the team brought the electron deflection experiment equipment to the school. Students were divided into small groups, and each group took turns interacting closely with the equipment brought by the team. Students were encouraged to propose hypotheses, observe carefully, and engage in discussions. A total of 58 students participated in this activity and had the opportunity to directly observe electron path in a cathode ray tube. The evaluation showed an excellent response from students with an average score of 3.48 (scale 1–4), where they felt this activity helped them learn theory with practice and increased their enthusiasm for learning. This program demonstrates that collaboration between universities and schools can be an efficient solution to overcome the lack of laboratory facilities and improve the quality of more meaningful physics learning.

Pacu Jalur is a traditional longboat race of the Malay community in Kuantan Singingi, Riau, which has served as a symbol of local cultural identity since the 17th century. In the last three years, this tradition has gone viral on TikTok, reaching millions of international viewers through hashtags such as #pacujalur and #indonesianboatracing. This study aims to analyze the role of Pacu Jalur’s virality as an instrument of Indonesia’s cultural diplomacy in the digital era. The method used is literature study with a thematic analysis approach, combining theories of soft power, digital cultural diplomacy, and cultural identity. The results show that Pacu Jalur’s virality expands cultural exposure to global audiences and strengthens local identity, while simultaneously highlighting the collective values of solidarity, teamwork, and aesthetic traditions embedded in the longboat race. At the same time, this phenomenon raises potential risks of cultural distortion due to commercialization, over-simplification of meaning, and the dominance of digital content logic that prioritizes visual appeal and entertainment value over historical and spiritual dimensions. These findings underscore the dual nature of viral cultural content: as both an opportunity for cultural diplomacy and a challenge for authenticity preservation. Therefore, this research highlights the importance of digital literacy, strategic collaboration between cultural stakeholders, and adaptive policy frameworks to ensure that the viral presence of Pacu Jalur on global digital platforms reflects authentic cultural values and serves as a sustainable instrument of Indonesia’s soft power in the contemporary international arena.

Regulatory changes through Law No. 3 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law No. 6 of 2014 stipulate an extension of the village head's term of office from six to eight years. This policy is intended to strengthen leadership stability and the sustainability of village development, but also raises concerns regarding reduced leadership circulation, weakened community political participation, and increased potential for abuse of power. This research uses empirical legal methods with sociological, conceptual, and case-based approaches, conducted through field observations and in-depth interviews with village officials, community leaders, MSMEs, and residents of Kerato Village. The results show a diverse response from the community. Some support this policy because it is seen as providing the village head with the opportunity to complete development programs sustainably. However, others reject it, arguing that term extension has the potential to reduce the quality of local democracy, limit leadership regeneration, and reduce the frequency of community political participation. The discussion emphasizes the dilemma between village government stability and the principles of participatory democracy. In conclusion, this policy is ambivalent: positive in maintaining development continuity, but risky for accountability and community participation. Therefore, strengthening the function of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), transparency, and effective oversight mechanisms are very necessary to maintain the balance between government stability and village democracy.

This study investigates the determinants of cash holdings in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2018–2022. Cash holdings play a crucial role in ensuring company liquidity and financial flexibility, especially in industries that require large investments such as the energy sector. The study employs secondary data obtained from annual financial reports of the sampled companies, accessed through official company websites and the IDX portal. A quantitative research approach is used with multiple linear regression analysis to test the effect of several independent variables on cash holdings. The variables examined include firm size, leverage, growth opportunity, profitability, net working capital, capital expenditure, and cash flow. The findings reveal that firm size and leverage both have a negative and significant effect on cash holdings, indicating that larger firms and those with higher debt levels tend to maintain lower levels of cash. Net working capital and capital expenditure are also found to negatively affect cash holdings, suggesting that higher investments in working capital and assets reduce the need for holding large cash reserves. Conversely, cash flow demonstrates a positive effect, highlighting that firms with stronger cash inflows are likely to hold more cash. Growth opportunity and profitability show no significant effect on cash holdings.

Illegal wildlife capture and trade is a form of crime that has a serious impact on environmental sustainability. This practice not only disrupts the balance of the ecosystem but also threatens the sustainability of biodiversity, a vital asset for the nation and the world. Lampung Province is a strategic region for wildlife trafficking due to its proximity to inter-island distribution routes. This condition makes Lampung one of the provinces with the highest number of wildlife confiscations in Indonesia, thus requiring increased attention from various parties. This study aims to analyze the factors causing illegal wildlife capture and trade, while also identifying mitigation efforts. The research method used is a combination of normative and empirical juridical. Data were obtained through literature review and interviews with relevant agencies, then analyzed qualitatively using an interactive approach and legal interpretation. The results show that economic factors, socio-cultural factors, education levels, environmental conditions, and hobby-based activities are the main triggers for the rise in wildlife crime. Economic motives often drive people to get involved due to the high selling price of wildlife, while socio-cultural factors and low legal awareness exacerbate the situation. An environment that supports fishing activities, along with demand from certain hobbies such as animal collecting, further increases the opportunity for violations. In response, the Lampung Regional Police, in collaboration with the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) SKW III Bengkulu-Lampung, have implemented penal measures through law enforcement, as well as non-penal measures through education, outreach, and community empowerment. This study concludes that synergy between law enforcement, active community participation, and sustainable prevention strategies is key to reducing the rate of wildlife crime. With integrated collaboration, it is hoped that biodiversity can be maintained for the sustainability of the ecosystem in the future.

The rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia presents both an opportunity and a challenge in increasing company value amidst the dynamics of an increasingly digital and competitive capital market. This phenomenon demonstrates that strong operational performance does not always translate into high market value, making it crucial to identify internal factors that influence company value, particularly in the pharmaceutical subsector, which plays a strategic role in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the effect of Working Capital Turnover, Cash Turnover, Liquidity, and Profit Growth on Company Value in pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2024 period. The research method used was quantitative with an explanatory approach. The sampling technique used total sampling, with a sample size of 10 companies. Secondary data, in the form of financial statements, were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that only Cash Turnover significantly impacts company value, with a negative effect, while Working Capital Turnover, Liquidity, and Profit Growth do not. These findings suggest that efficient working capital management and consistent profit growth play a crucial role in increasing the value of pharmaceutical companies. This research is expected to be a reference for management in strategic decision making and for academics for further research.

Ruth's life is a depiction of a devout and faithful person. Her simple and obedient life has transformed all aspects of her life. The form of love that Ruth showed to Naomi has opened a great opportunity for Ruth to experience an encounter with Boaz. The bitterness of her life did not make her spirit run aground and disappear. Ruth experienced redemption carried out by Boaz. The expression go'el, which means redemption, is an expression that signifies an act that provides relief and comfort. The marriage of Ruth and Boaz is known as a levirate marriage, and this tradition has been passed down through generations until the New Testament era. Ruth was a woman from Moab. She was not a member of the nation of Israel, but Ruth received the gift of the opportunity to experience redemption. In this scientific paper, the researcher aims to explore the meaning of redemption contained in the Book of Ruth. The entire story of Ruth and Boaz's journey until its culmination, namely Ruth's redemption by Boaz, is a shadow image of God's plan and God's act of execution through the Person of Jesus Christ, namely the redemption of sinful humans that Jesus accomplished on the cross. This research uses a qualitative literature method. The qualitative literature study method used by this researcher is based entirely on literature review. Literature-based research is part of a research proposal, collecting data from sources such as books, articles, journals, online media, and other documents. In the New Testament, there are numerous verses explaining that the atonement for sins was performed only by Jesus Christ. Jesus' atonement is offered to all people, regardless of their nationality, just as Ruth received the gift of redemption from Boaz.

Corn (Zea mays L.) is an important commodity in Indonesia, but in Citaman Village, Nagreg District, its utilization is still limited to fresh sales with low added value. To address this issue, a community service program was implemented that focused on empowering village women through training in processing corn into corn nuggets as an innovative product with economic value. The activity was designed with a community-based participatory approach that included coordination with village officials, extension sessions, processing demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation through pre- and post-training questionnaires. The results of the activity showed that more than 85% of participants were very satisfied and more than 80% expressed a high interest in developing corn nuggets as a small-scale business opportunity. These findings indicate a significant increase in participants' knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial motivation. The corn nugget innovation is not only a means of optimizing the use of local commodities, but is also relevant to the global trend of plant-based foods and supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Zero Hunger, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Responsible Consumption and Production. Overall, this program proves that local food-based innovation can be used as a model for replicating community empowerment that contributes to strengthening economic resilience while encouraging sustainable development in rural areas.

Every individual hopes for a better life, but not everyone has the same opportunity to achieve it. Various life challenges, such as economic limitations, lack of access to education, health, and social support, often become barriers for some people. This condition creates social inequality that makes many individuals lose their enthusiasm and motivation in living life. Early childhood dental health is a crucial issue that requires serious attention, considering the high prevalence of dental caries which is influenced by various factors, including inadequate tooth brushing habits and excessive consumption of sweet foods. This Community Service aims to analyze the level of knowledge about dental health, tooth brushing practices in children, and patterns of sweet food consumption on the incidence of dental caries at the Yauma Pilangsari Orphanage and Dhuafa Cirebon. The Community Service method used was an observational analytic with a cross-sectional design, involving 24 early childhood participants. The results of the Community Service revealed that 62.5% of children experienced dental caries, an alarming figure. Of these, 53.1% of children exhibited improper brushing habits, while 54.7% frequently consumed sweet foods. It is important to remember that children's dental health is a shared responsibility between parents, educators, and the community. With a good understanding of the importance of maintaining dental health from an early age, as well as support from various parties, it is hoped that children can grow up with healthy and strong teeth, which will ultimately improve their overall quality of life.

In late August 2025, Indonesia was rocked by nationwide political demonstrations, triggered by the death of a delivery driver at the hands of police. These protests turned violent, leading to multiple casualties, injuries, and arson attacks on government and commercial buildings. This unrest has raised international concerns regarding the country’s safety image. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive approach to analyze secondary sources, such as news media, government releases, and academic literature, to explore how hosting the 2025 MotoGP at the Mandalika Circuit could be used as a nation-branding strategy to counter negative perceptions. The study draws on nation branding theory, destination image concepts, event leveraging, and Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT). Findings suggest that Indonesian authorities are actively promoting MotoGP Mandalika 2025 as an opportunity to demonstrate the country’s resilience and safety standards. We analyze two scenarios: one in which the event is canceled and one where it is successfully executed. The paper argues that canceling the event, unless due to a legitimate health crisis, would signal weakness and harm the country's image, while proceeding with it would reflect confidence and effective crisis management. As a "brand shield," the MotoGP event is being leveraged to reinforce the narrative of Indonesia as a stable and safe international sports host, demonstrating the country's ability to manage crises while showcasing its commitment to safety and resilience.

Food security is a fundamental aspect of independent and sustainable village development. Kajarharjo Village has abundant natural resource potential, such as cassava and various herbal plants. However, the utilization of this potential is still less than optimal, both in terms of food processing and the implementation of environmentally friendly agriculture. This condition encourages the need for community service activities oriented towards food innovation and strengthening sustainable agriculture. This service activity was carried out using a participatory and applied approach at the Kajarharjo Village Hall. The main target is the village community, especially housewives and farmers. The program is implemented through two main activities, namely: (1) training in making cassava leaf nuggets as a nutritious food, an alternative local product, and a household business opportunity; and (2) training in making organic boosters from natural ingredients as a more environmentally friendly substitute for chemical fertilizers. Implementation methods include counseling, demonstrations, direct practice, and interactive discussions to ensure active community involvement. The results of the activities show an increase in community knowledge and skills. Housewives are able to process cassava leaves into products with nutritional and economic value, while farmers gain skills in mixing organic boosters that can improve soil quality and agricultural yields without relying on chemical fertilizers. The participants' enthusiasm was also evident in their active participation in the practical exercises and their desire to apply the knowledge gained in their daily activities. In conclusion, this activity successfully encouraged the utilization of local potential in Kajarharjo Village through food innovation and organic farming. Empowering the community through cassava leaf processing and organic fertilizer production not only strengthens food security but also opens up business opportunities, maintains environmental health, and supports the development of an independent, healthy, and sustainable village.

The main objective of this study is to analyze business innovation implemented by Coffee Shops in Coblong District, Bandung City, considering the increasing number of similar businesses emerging, triggering fierce competition in this industry. In facing these conditions, business actors are required to continue to innovate to be able to survive and excel in the competition. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with an approach to calculating the average value of each variable measured using a Likert scale. The study population consisted of 38 Coffee Shop entrepreneurs who served as research samples. Based on the analysis results, business innovation was measured through four main indicators, namely relative advantage, compatibility, dissemination, and communicability. In general, Coffee Shops in this area have succeeded in innovating well, although there are variations in achievement for each indicator. The indicator with the highest score is communicability, which refers to the ability of staff, especially baristas and cashiers, to interact with customers in a friendly, polite, and effective manner. This is not only limited to greeting but also creating a comfortable atmosphere so that customers feel appreciated, which ultimately increases customer loyalty. Conversely, the indicator with the lowest score is dissemination, which indicates that most customers tend to only order a specific type of coffee without exploring other menu variations. This condition can be seen as an opportunity to strengthen superior products, but also signals that the product diversification strategy is not running optimally. Therefore, it is important for coffee shop businesses in Coblong to develop a menu diversification strategy, both in terms of beverage types and service variations, so that the business remains competitive, relevant to diverse consumer preferences, and able to increase competitiveness amidst the increasingly rapid growth of the coffee shop industry.

Background: HIV/AIDS is an infectious disease that attacks the immune system and is a global health problem. Pregnant women are among the vulnerable groups for HIV infection, so HIV testing during pregnancy is an important step in preventing mother-to-child transmission. However, the utilization of HIV testing by pregnant women is still low in various regions, including at the Peureulak Community Health Center, East Aceh Regency. HIV testing in pregnant women can reduce the risk of vertical transmission and provide an opportunity for appropriate treatment. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between pregnant women's knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the utilization of HIV testing at the Peureulak Community Health Center. Methods: This study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 50 pregnant women selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of questions about knowledge about HIV/AIDS and utilization of HIV testing. The collected data were analyzed using the chi-square test to see the relationship between the two variables. Results: The results showed that the majority of pregnant women had insufficient knowledge about HIV/AIDS (56%). Utilization of HIV testing is also still low, with 52% of pregnant women not undergoing testing during pregnancy. Bivariate analysis showed a significant association between pregnant women's knowledge of HIV/AIDS and their utilization of HIV testing (p = 0.002). Mothers with good knowledge were more likely to undergo HIV testing (72.7%) than mothers with poor knowledge (28.6%). Conclusion: Good knowledge of HIV/AIDS influences the utilization of HIV testing by pregnant women. Further education is needed to increase pregnant women's awareness of the importance of HIV testing to prevent transmission to the baby.
