Community service through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program is one way for students to contribute to overcoming various problems faced by society. One of the problems encountered in Tanjung Limau Village is land disputes. Land disputes are a problem that often occurs in various regions, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. This conflict can arise due to unclear ownership status, overlapping claims, or government policies that do not support the community. This research aims to determine the process of resolving land disputes in Tanjung Limau Village through mediation. Tanjung Limau Village, located in Muara Badak District, Kutai Kertanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, faces complex land disputes. Many residents do not have legal proof of land ownership, such as a Certificate of Ownership (SHM) or Statement of Physical Land Control (SPPFBT). This triggers endless disputes in society. This research uses research methods with a sociological juridical approach. Data was collected through observations and interviews with village officials, RT heads, and residents of Tanjung Limau Village. The data was then processed using qualitative descriptive methods. The research results show that many land disputes in Tanjung Limau Village are resolved through mediation. Mediation was chosen because it was considered more effective and efficient than litigation. Legal education with the theme "Legal Awareness in Mediating Land Disputes" was held to increase public understanding of the importance of mediation in accordance with legal procedures. This research found that the option of resolving land disputes through mediation has advantages because it can lead the parties to the realization of a permanent and sustainable peace agreement. Mediation is also an important step to be taken by parties involved in court proceedings, so that it can reduce the burden of cases in court and strengthen the function of court institutions in resolving disputes.

The small number of people cultivating horticultural crops, especially vegetables, means that people can only buy vegetables to meet their vegetable food needs, where the main factor for this is the decline in the area of productive land used as agricultural land and cultivation caused by the growth of population density in Indonesia. Therefore, the solution to the existing problem is to provide openness of insight and assistance in utilizing narrow land for plant cultivation. One way to cultivate plants is by using the vertical cultivation method. In implementing this activity, the aim is for Kalijudan residents to have knowledge about the vertical cultivation system and plastic bottle waste management. The implementation of this activity uses the method of socialization and training activities or direct practice. Where, the target audience in the practice of this activity is elementary school students and Kalijudan residents. From the results of the discussion, it was concluded that this activity is useful because it can introduce residents and change the condition of the Kalijudan sub-district which was originally a narrow land without plants into a narrow but green land. In addition, this vertical cultivation activity also has benefits in reducing plastic waste that accumulates in the Kalijudan environment.

This aims to reveal the Impact of Converting Local Coconut Plantation Land into Oil Palm Plantations in an Islamic Economic Perspective in Kuala Keritang Village, Kec. Keritang, Kab. Indragiri Hilir, Riau. This thesis uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The background causes the rubber farmers to switch functions to become oil palm farmers in Kuala Kritang Village is that work as a local coconut farmer is carried out every day and requires difficult maintenance while the price is cheap so that the farmer's income is not enough to meet economic needs. Land classification for oil palm plantations is an important topic in agricultural and plantation development. In this research, the local binary pattern (LBP) method and support vector machine (SVM) classification were used to identify oil palm plantations from aerial photography images. The main challenge in this process is accurately distinguishing oil palm fields and forests that have similar patterns and colors in satellite images. The LBP method is used to extract important texture features from images, while SVM is used to build a classification model based on these features. The test results show that using this method provides an accuracy value of 83.33% in the classification of oil palm land images. The development of oil palm plantations in Indonesia is becoming increasingly important as investment prospects strengthen. This research helps develop image classification technology to support the agricultural industry.

The Food Estate project in Indonesia aims to enhance food security. However, it has resulted in significant environmental impacts through the conversion of forests into agricultural land. Particularly, the peat ecosystem is vulnerable, threatening the natural balance and environmental sustainability. In evaluating the project's impact, this research adopts a normative legal approach focusing on literature analysis. Research findings indicate that land conversion for Food Estate sacrifices crucial environmental aspects, such as vulnerable peatlands prone to fires and soil quality degradation. Policy alternatives, such as agricultural diversification and ecosystem protection, are proposed as solutions to support food security without harming the environment. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for stricter environmental law enforcement between the government and community participation in decision-making to ensure the sustainability of agricultural projects like the Food Estate.

Land cover is defined as the physical and biological cover of the earth's surface, both those formed naturally such as swamps, hills and rivers and those formed by man-made means such as rice fields, gardens, forests and buildings. As technology develops, conventional methods of satellite image processing are starting to be abandoned. This is because conventional methods require quite a long time to process satellite image data. The presence of Google Earth Engine (GEE), which is a cloud computing-based platform, makes it easier for users to process satellite image data boldly and for free. This research aims to classify satellite image land cover in the Trenggalek Regency area, East Java. The level of accuracy in this study uses a confusion matrix. The accuracy test results show a value of 90.23%.
