Cholesterol is a fatty substance that circulates in the body which is produced by the liver and is very important for the body. Excessive cholesterol in the blood will first cause problems in the blood vessels and brain. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of giving dragon fruit juice on total cholesterol levels in the elderly at Posbindu Kebayoran Lama Utara, South Jakarta. The research method used a pre-experimental pre-post-test group design including administration of dragon fruit juice, analysis of measurements of total cholesterol levels before and after the intervention, and analysis of food cholesterol consumption. The Wilcoxon test results were chosen because the data did not meet the normality assumption. The p value resulting from the Wilcoxon test is 0.028, which is smaller than the significance level which is generally set at 0.05. This shows that the difference between total cholesterol levels before and after the intervention is statistically significant. The conclusion from the results of this research that has been carried out can be concluded that there is a significant difference between total cholesterol levels before and after the intervention (p<0.05).

Triglycerides are fats carried by the lipoprotein system located in the blood, are the main cause of arterial diseases and are usually compared with cholesterol using lipoprotein electrophoresis. Triglycerides consist of glycerol linked to fatty acid groups. The High Intensity Interval Training method is a sport designed to increase metabolism and burn body fat so as to balance triglyceride levels in the body. This exercise is often included in training programs for long-distance runners. This study aims to obtain information about the effect of the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) exercise on the interval running model on triglyceride levels in PASI Athletes in Malang City. The research method and design used was an experiment in the form of the one group pretest-posttest design, namely recording the results of triglyceride levels before HIIT training and after HIIT training. This study involved 8 long-distance runners whose blood was taken from the cubital vein before the HIIT treatment. The design of this study was initiated by screening all research subjects according to predetermined inclusion criteria. And all subjects were instructed to fill out a willingness form (informed consent) then proceed with taking a blood sample before the HIIT exercise treatment of ± 10 µL. After taking blood, the HIIT training program is continued with an interval running model, namely by running fast for 2 minutes, then walking for 2 minutes, doing 10 repetitions. After completing the HIIT training treatment, all subjects took blood again as much as ± 10 µL. When all subjects' blood samples have been taken, it is followed by laboratory tests in the clinical pathology laboratory, Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University. The results of the study by conducting a paired sample T-test were used to analyze the data obtained with a significant (2-tailed) value of 0.938 greater than the p value of 0.05 (0.938> 0.05) indicating H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected which means that HIIT training has no significant effect on the leukocyte levels of PASI Athletes in Malang City. So it can be concluded that HIIT training has no effect on increasing leukocyte levels in PASI Athletes running long distances in Malang City. The conclusion in this study was that the HIIT training provided had no significant effect on the amount of triglycerides after and after exercise. Triglyceride levels in long-distance runners are at normal levels. This is because there has been regular practice given by the coach as preparation for the match.

Degenerative disease is a health condition of an organ or related tissue whose condition can deteriorate over time due to changes in body cells that affect organ function as a whole. The factor is due to unhealthy life changes such as lack of activity and frequent exposure to harmful substances into the body. Degenerative diseases include hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, cancer, and death. Harmful substances or free radicals can be inhibited by antioxidants. One drug that has antioxidant activity is ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) which functions as an immune booster and is used by the public because it is effective as an antioxidant and health therapy but there are side effects in the form of gastrointestinal. The research aimed to find candidate drug ingredients from compounds contained in black pepper seeds (Piper nigrum L.) as in silico antioxidants. The methods used are molecular docking and molecular dynamics. The results showed BLH19 had better toxicity than the comparator drug and had hydrogen interactions that could be stabilized by the amino acid Gln139. The results of molecular dynamic calculations for BLH19 have an RMSD value of 1.5 Å with a ΔGTotal of -33.50 Kcal/mol. While the comparator drug has an RMSD value of 1.6 Å with ΔGTotal -3.39 Kcal/mol. The results showed that the affinity level of ascorbic acid compared to BLH19 for the 4RP9 receptor was predicted to be a candidate for a new antioxidant drug.

Cholesterol is a form of fat that has an important role for the body, but if the body has high cholesterol levels it will cause health problems in the form of fatty deposits which will be at risk of blockage of blood vessels. Based on the results of Basic Health Research, it shows that the prevalence in Indonesia with total cholesterol levels > 200 mg/dL is 39.8%, the high prevalence rate is one of the reasons for the increased mortality rate in Indonesia (RI Ministry of Health, 2018). Controlling cholesterol levels can be done by controlling diet such as intake of calcium, fruit, vegetables and fish. The research was conducted in Cengkareng Timur Village, from 19 October 2022 to 2 November 2022. The type of research is quantitative which is analytic using a cross sectional research design, the research sample is 84 respondents. Data analysis used the Spearman correlation test. Based on the research results, it was found that there was a relationship between calcium intake and cholesterol levels (p=0.000) with a value of r = -0.924, there was a relationship between vegetable and fruit consumption and cholesterol levels (p=0.002) with a value of r = -0.496, and there was a relationship between consumption fish with cholesterol levels (p=0.001) with a value of r = -0.351. Workers handling public facilities infrastructure in Cengkareng Timur Village are expected to be able to consume fruits and vegetables because workers' consumption of fruits and vegetables is less than 400 g/day accompanied by a healthy lifestyle.
