This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the staple food assistance program in Tapadaka Satu Village, Dumoga Tenggara Sub-district, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, Sulawesi Utara Province. The main sub-focus of this research includes five aspects of effectiveness measurement proposed by Sutrisno (2018), namely: (1) program understanding, (2) target accuracy, (3) timeliness, (4) achievement of objectives, and (5) real change. This research employs a qualitative, descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the staple food assistance program in Tapadaka Satu Village has not been fully effective. In terms of program understanding, socialization has been conducted by the Social Affairs Office and village government, but some beneficiary families still do not fully understand the program’s mechanisms, rights, and obligations. In target accuracy, discrepancies in beneficiary data persist due to changing socio-economic conditions and the suboptimal updating of DTSEN data. In timeliness, assistance distribution generally follows the mechanism, but delays in fund disbursement still occur. In achieving objectives, the program helps reduce beneficiary families’ food expenditure burden, although delays affect results. Lastly, real change remains limited, short-term, and has not significantly improved community welfare.

Children in Tambak Osowilangun Village have high access to digital technology, but their digital financial literacy remains very low. Technology is generally used only for entertainment and social media without an understanding of its economic value. This condition is exacerbated by limited supervision from parents, the majority of whom work in the industrial sector, leaving children vulnerable to uncontrolled consumer behavior online. This community service activity aims to equip children in Tambak Osowilangun Village with a basic understanding of modern economics. The main focus is to improve their ability to manage their finances wisely, introduce the concept of digital savings, and develop critical thinking skills so they can distinguish between needs and wants in the technology era. The program uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involves the active participation of children through a spiral of stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through participant observation to monitor the learning dynamics of participants during the educational sessions. The implementation of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' financial understanding. Children became more aware of the risks of digital fraud and began to understand how financial applications work. Through interactive discussion sessions, high enthusiasm was generated, shifting the children's mindset from mere entertainment users to financially savvy technology users. The synergy between students and the community has succeeded in fostering a disciplined and responsible economic character in the young generation in the village.

The distribution of takjil in Pucang Village, Buduran, Sidoarjo a tradition of sharing food to break the fast is not only viewed as a form of individual worship but also plays a vital role in strengthening social bonds among residents. In addition to fostering brotherhood, the practice of sharing takjil also serves as a means of instilling social values such as empathy, mutual cooperation, and a sense of responsibility toward the surrounding community. In the context of the takjil-sharing activity, social solidarity is key to strengthening bonds of brotherhood. In the social life of Muslim communities in Indonesia, the tradition of sharing takjil during Ramadan is not merely a routine distribution of food for breaking the fast, but a social practice that can strengthen the sense of brotherhood among residents. This study employs the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, an approach that positions the community as both the subject and an active partner throughout the entire research and community service process. The primary purpose of the iftar-sharing activities during Ramadan is not merely to meet the practical needs of breaking the fast, but also to strengthen social bonds and brotherhood among community members through shared experiences and direct interaction.

This study analyzes the politics of spatial planning in the land-use conversion of the Bowosie Forest in Labuan Bajo as part of the National Strategic Project (PSN) for tourism development. The transformation of the forest into an economic tourism zone demonstrates that spatial planning is not neutral, but rather an arena of power relations among the state, investors, and local communities. Through regulatory instruments such as revisions of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW), ministerial decrees on forest release, and the granting of Management Rights (HPL) to BPOLBF, the state has facilitated tourism investment and the commodification of space. Using a qualitative approach and David Harvey’s theory of Accumulation by Dispossession, the study finds that these policies have produced three forms of exclusion: spatial exclusion (loss of access to land and water sources), political exclusion (limited community participation in decision-making), and economic exclusion (development benefits concentrated among investors). The village government occupies a structurally limited position due to the top-down nature of the policy framework. The study concludes that the conversion of the Bowosie Forest reflects a process of capital accumulation legalized through state regulation, highlighting the need for more inclusive and socially just spatial planning.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Governance principles—transparency, accountability, participation, effectiveness, efficiency, rule of law, and inclusivity—in public administration services at the Sungai Tabukan Sub-district Office, especially in the Service, Economy, and Social Welfare Section. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of sub-district officials and service user communities. The data was analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawn, and tested for validity by triangulation and member check techniques. The results of the study show that procedural transparency, compliance with SOPs, and administrative accountability mechanisms have been running relatively well, so that services such as SKKM, marriage recommendations, and population documents can be processed openly and can be traced. However, the limitations of human resources, facilities, and digital infrastructure cause the effectiveness and efficiency of services to still be conditional and depend on key actors. Community participation has been facilitated through forums and feedback channels, but it is still dominated by village intermediaries so that the direct involvement of residents is not optimal. In terms of the rule of law and inclusivity, services have been based on regulations and are non-discriminatory, although there are still inequality in access and speed of services between regions. The main supporting factors include leadership commitment, internal work culture, and the existence of SOPs, while inhibiting factors include limited human resources, facilities, and information systems that have not been integrated. It was concluded that the implementation of Good Governance in public administration services in Sungai Tabukan District has been running functionally, but has not been fully consolidated systemically. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen policies through the digitization of services, increase the capacity of the apparatus, improve facilities, integrate data-based accountability and transparency systems, and expand citizen participation channels to realize more professional, fair, and sustainable public administration service.

The routine prayer recitation activity with teenagers in Jatikalang Village, Krian, Sidoarjo, essentially arose from the need for moral development among teenagers amidst today's increasingly complex and externally influenced lives. Through this activity, it is hoped that teenagers can become closer to religious values without feeling patronized, as the activities are simple and relevant to their daily lives. Furthermore, a sense of community among teenagers is fostered, becoming more than just a form of worship but also a positive gathering space. The implementation itself uses an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, emphasizing existing community potential, such as the role of administrators, youth involvement, and available village facilities. The activity is relatively simple, starting with an opening and reciting prayers, rowi Diba' (the prayer of the Prophet), mahalul qiyam (the prayer of the Prophet), and closing with a short sermon (kultum) usually containing light but impactful messages. These activities are beginning to show changes: teenagers are becoming more active, a sense of togetherness is growing, and good habits such as discipline, mutual respect, and responsibility are gradually emerging. Furthermore, this activity serves as an alternative to prevent teenagers from getting caught up in less beneficial activities. There are still challenges, particularly with fluctuating attendance and the strong influence of the external environment. However, if maintained and developed consistently, this activity has great potential to become a platform for social and spiritual development for youth. Overall, this sholawat routine is quite effective in developing religious character and strengthening social ties within the community.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of cross-sector education based on community participation as an effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Watangsono Village, Wonogiri. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through participatory observation, documentation, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) involving key stakeholders in the village. The results show that the implementation of cross-sector educational programs covering education, health, economy, and environment has a significant impact on improving community knowledge, skills, and awareness. Community participation was reflected through active involvement in various practical activities, such as anti-bullying education, digital literacy training, stunting prevention through local food processing, herbal plant utilization, natural pesticide production, family health massage practices, and strengthening local economic capacity. The participatory and applicative approach encourages two-way knowledge transfer and strengthens community capacity in managing local resources sustainably. Despite challenges such as limited resources and time constraints, the program demonstrates positive contributions to supporting SDGs achievement at the village level. Therefore, cross-sector education based on community participation can serve as an effective strategy in empowering rural communities and fostering sustainable development.

Waste management has become a critical environmental issue at both global and national levels due to increasing population and changing consumption patterns. In Indonesia, waste generation exceeds 60 million tons annually, with a significant portion consisting of plastic waste that requires hundreds of years to decompose. One of the main challenges in addressing this issue is the low level of public awareness and understanding regarding waste types and their decomposition time. This community service program conducted by students of Universitas Negeri Padang aims to improve environmental awareness through environmental education and community empowerment using an innovative visual medium in the form of waste decomposition time educational boards. The activity was implemented in Pasar Hilir Hamlet, Lumindai Village, using a participatory approach involving observation, socialization, board design, production, and installation. The results indicate that the program successfully enhanced community knowledge regarding the differences between organic and inorganic waste and their environmental impacts. The educational boards, placed in strategic locations near waste disposal areas, function as effective visual tools that continuously deliver information and reinforce environmentally responsible behavior. In addition, this program contributes to improving environmental cleanliness, strengthening community participation, and increasing environmental literacy. Therefore, the innovation of waste decomposition time educational boards serves not only as an informative medium but also as a sustainable educational tool to promote long-term behavioral change toward environmental awareness.
