Population event reporting aims to provide identity validity and legal certainty through population documents in every population event experienced by residents. In addition to being proof of the legality of various administrative matters, this reporting also plays an important role in the administration of the state. The obligation to report population events has not been properly understood by partners. This community service activity was carried out to overcome the partner's problem, namely the low understanding of MA Nahdlatut Thulab students about the obligation to report population events. The land holds significant importance for the people in Indonesia and is one of the country's natural resources. As an agricultural country, a large portion of the Indonesian population relies on agriculture as their primary source of livelihood. Farming, which involves cultivating land to produce food, has long been a cornerstone of rural economies. Notaries and Land Deed Officials (PPAT) play a critical role in Indonesia’s legal and land administration systems. Notaries, governed by Law No. 2 of 2014 and Article 1868 of the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata), are authorized to create authentic deeds, ensure legal certainty, and maintain document custody. Meanwhile, PPATs, under Government Regulation No. 37 of 1998 and Law No. 4 of 1996, are responsible for drafting deeds related to land registration and mortgage rights, including transactions involving the sale, purchase, and transfer of land rights. The distinct authority of notaries and PPATs is clearly defined by the relevant regulations, with the Constitutional Court Decision No. 5/PUU-XII/2014 affirming that their jurisdictions do not overlap, thereby safeguarding legal certainty in land administration.

In order to create an orderly society in terms of population administration and ensure the sustainability of national population data, the government is responsible for providing complete and clear population data. It is expected that government officials across Indonesia, particularly in Batam City, deliver high-quality public services in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and public expectations. However, there are still areas for improvement in public services, especially in Batam. This research aims to critically analyze the quality of e-KTP services at the Sei Beduk sub-district in Batam City, focusing on the infrastructure and procedural challenges that impact service delivery. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this study. Data was collected, reduced to relevant findings, and presented narratively. The results indicate that the service quality in the Sei Beduk sub-district is generally good, with services facilitating e-KTP issuance. However, the process is often delayed due to issues such as the absence of stamps from the central office. Employee discipline is another challenge, as some staff members still fail to adhere to working hours. Additionally, the sub-district office is equipped with only one recording device, which significantly hampers the efficiency and quality of the service. These infrastructural and procedural challenges must be addressed to improve the overall quality of e-KTP services in the region.

Implementation of Klampid New Generation (KNG) as an innovation in population administration services in the city of Surabaya. KNG is an online website that facilitates the management of population documents online, such as ID cards, family cards, birth certificates, and others. Through the Internship and Independent Study Certificate (MSIB) program, researchers were directly involved as Population Administration Service Assistants at the Surabaya City Village Office. Observations and active participation were carried out to collect primary data from village officials and the community. The research results show that although KNG is intended to facilitate independent document management, many residents still prefer to use village office services. This is due to a lack of socialization and public understanding about the use of KNG. In addition, there are also obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure in the village office that can hinder service performance. This research recommends the need for more intensive socialization and assistance to the community, as well as improving facilities at the village office to optimize the implementation of KNG in creating better population administration order in the city of Surabaya.

Ensuring the security of people's personal data is the government's responsibility, in accordance with Article 79 paragraph (1) of the Population Administration Law. The sale of government-held documents is one example of how data can be accidentally deleted. If a person's passport information is not adequately secured by the institution responsible for implementing the law, then the person can request compensation as described in Article 2. By using a legal and conceptual approach, this research is included in the category of normative juridical research. As far as legal resources are concerned, there are two main categories: primary and secondary. We use a descriptive normative analysis approach to sort legal information into categories based on the topics discussed. The findings of this research highlight the responsibility of supervisory institutions in ensuring the security of individuals' personal information and the accountability of the state or government in accordance with the Population Administration Law and prevention initiatives. Some possible suggestions to protect people's rights include a more transparent compensation process and clearer regulations prohibiting the sale of personal data.
