This study aims to determine the effect of planting distance and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two treatment factors: planting distance and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer. The treatment factors are as follows: Factor I: Planting Distance (J) consists of 3 treatment levels: J1 = 15 cm x 15 cm; J2 = 20 cm x 20 cm, and J3 = 25 cm x 25 cm. Factor II: Concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (V) consists of 4 treatment levels, namely: V1 = 2 ml / 240 ml of water; V2 = 4 ml / 240 ml of water; V3 = 6 ml / 240 ml of water and V4 = 8 ml / 240 ml of water. Data analysis was done using variance analysis and Duncan’s test. The results showed that planting distance significantly affected the number of leaves, bulb diameter per sample, and fresh bulb weight per sample but had no significant effect on flowering age. POC concentration significantly affected flowering age, tuber diameter per sample, and fresh tuber weight per sample but did not significantly affect plant height and number of leaves. The interaction between planting distance and POC concentration did not significantly affect all observed parameters.

Early marriage remains a significant issue contributing to the high prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas. The lack of awareness among adolescents and parents regarding the negative impacts of early marriage and the importance of proper nutrition is a major contributing factor. The PENA EMAS (Early Marriage Prevention for Stunting Elimination Towards Healthy Children) program was implemented in Tanjung Buaya Village as part of the KKN-T Posko 22 UNIMMAN initiative to raise public awareness about the dangers of early marriage and its link to stunting risk. This program utilized three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Activities included educational sessions, adolescent health screenings, local vegetable planting initiatives, and interactive media such as podcasts and educational competitions. The evaluation results showed an increase in community awareness of family planning and nutrition fulfillment, with five adolescents identified as having anemia based on hemoglobin (Hb) level tests. The conclusion of this program is that community-based educational interventions with participatory approaches can enhance awareness among adolescents and parents in preventing early marriage and reducing stunting risk. Recommended follow-up actions include regular health check-ups, adolescent mentoring, and the empowerment of Youth Ambassadors for Stunting Prevention to ensure the program’s sustainability.

The cultivation of pisang kepok (Musa paradisiaca, L.) faces major challenges due to pest and disease attacks that can reduce productivity and threaten the sustainability of agricultural ecosystems. This study aims to identify and evaluate environmentally friendly pest and disease control strategies in banana cultivation. The research method used was a literature review of various recent studies (2019-2025) on biological and technical culture approaches in pest and disease control. The results showed that the use of natural enemies such as Beauveria bassiana and Trichoderma spp., crop rotation, application of vegetable pesticides based on neem and soursop extracts, and planting refugia plants can effectively suppress pest populations without damaging the balance of the ecosystem. In addition, sustainable agriculture policies supported by the government play an important role in encouraging the adoption of these methods at the farm level. This approach not only increases kepok banana production but also maintains environmental sustainability and public health.

Spinach (Amaranthus spp.) is a vegetable plant that is highly dependent on the availability of light and nutrients for its growth. Proper spacing plays an important role in influencing a plant's access to light and nutrients, which ultimately impacts its yield. This study examines the impact of planting distance on light and nutrient competition in spinach. Planting spacing that is too tight can lead to intense competition between plants, reduce the efficiency of photosynthesis, and increase the risk of etiolation in lower plants. On the contrary, planting spacing that is too wide reduces land use efficiency and increases the likelihood of weed growth. The ideal planting distance ranges from 15-20 cm between plants, which ensures maximum utilization of light and nutrients without resulting in excessive competition, thus supporting optimal growth and yield
