Awig-Awig (traditional customary law) is a form of written customary law that exists and continues to develop within indigenous communities, particularly in Bali and Lombok. As part of Indonesia's pluralistic legal system, Awig-Awig plays a significant role in regulating social order, maintaining harmony, governing inter-community relations, and preserving local cultural and religious values. This study aims to examine the existence of Awig-Awig as a binding source of law within indigenous communities, as well as to analyze its relationship with the national legal system. The methods used in this research include juridical-normative and sociological approaches, supported by case studies conducted in several indigenous villages in Bali and Lombok. The results show that Awig-Awig remains highly relevant, respected, and effectively implemented as a community guideline. However, harmonization with state law is necessary to prevent potential norm conflicts and ensure legal certainty. These findings highlight the importance of formal recognition, protection, and integration of customary law within Indonesia’s national legal framework.

This study examines the cultural meanings contained in student protest slogans during the October 2025 demonstrations using an anthropolinguistic approach. Language in protest slogans functions not only as a communication tool but also as a cultural representation reflecting social values, ideology, collective identity, and social practices. The purpose of this study is to reveal the cultural meanings embedded in student protest slogans and explain how these meanings are constructed through linguistic choices. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with observation, note-taking, documentation, and brief interviews with participants as data collection techniques. The data were analyzed using distributional methods by identifying linguistic elements such as metaphors, irony, lexical choices, and sentence structures, then relating them to socio-cultural contexts. The findings show that protest slogans represent values of social solidarity, nationalism, social justice, transparency, criticism of power, gender equality, and resistance to state repression. In addition, slogans construct collective identities between citizens, government, and authorities, while carrying strong socio-political ideologies. These findings confirm that protest slogans are complex cultural practices and reflect students’ collective awareness in responding to social dynamics.

Bullying among adolescents is an aggressive behavior carried out intentionally, repeatedly, and involving an imbalance of power between the perpetrator and the victim. This phenomenon is an important issue because it can affect adolescents’ psychological well-being, social relationships, and academic achievement in both the short and long term. This study uses a literature review method by collecting and analyzing recent national and international studies regarding the causes, forms, and impacts of bullying. The findings indicate that bullying is influenced by internal factors, such as low empathy, poor self-control, negative self-concept, and the desire for social recognition. In addition, external factors also contribute, including parenting styles, peer influence, unfavorable school climate, and the development of social media that increases the risk of cyberbullying. The impacts of bullying are experienced not only by victims, who may suffer from low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and social withdrawal, but also by perpetrators, who are at risk of developing persistent aggressive behavior and reduced empathy. Therefore, cooperation among families, schools, and communities is needed to prevent and address bullying effectively.

The shift in the international political order from a unipolar to a multipolar system has created increasingly complex global security dynamics and the potential for conflicts among states. This condition requires improving international political literacy among civil society, particularly Indonesian youth, so they can critically understand and respond to geopolitical transformations. In response to this urgency, this Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance students’ global issue literacy through the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) Goes To School (FGTS) 5.0 program themed Conflict & Military. The activity was conducted on April 6, 2026, involving 40 eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 97 Jakarta. The implementation method combined interactive lectures with popular culture references to make the material easier for teenagers to understand. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests in the form of multiple-choice quizzes. The material covered the concept of United States national interests, the Board of Peace (BoP) security initiative, Realism Theory, and the conflicts involving the United States, Israel, and Iran. The evaluation results showed that students had strong understanding of popular global issues but limited comprehension of technical aspects related to international institutions, such as the role of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Therefore, future international political literacy programs should focus more on strategic and technical issues that are less familiar to the public.

Amidst the rapid development of digital technology today, copyright plays a complex role as an instrument for protecting works and at the same time as a potential inhibitor of innovation. Protection of exclusive rights granted by the copyright protection system aims to provide economic incentives or financial benefits to the creator. However, in practice, it often creates limitations on creative freedom, especially in the context of derivative works, remixes, parodies, and other creative uses that are developing rapidly in the digital realm. This study aims to examine how the copyright legal system, both normatively and implementatively, affects the scope of movement of creative actors in producing innovation. Through a normative legal approach with a review of international and national literature, this study found that copyright protection is too strict and has the effect of freezing reactivity, especially if it is not balanced with clear fair use provisions. However, on the other hand, loose regulations will also risk ignoring the moral and economic rights of the original creator. Thus, a balance is needed between the protection of individual rights and the public interest within the framework of a legal system that is adaptive and inclusive of digital culture. The study recommends strengthening open licensing frameworks such as Creative Commons, as well as updating national copyright policies to ensure that legal systems do not hinder, but rather encourage, the growth of innovation and creative expression in the digital age.

. Malnutrition rates among children remain quite high, according to 2024 national statistics, which indicate that good eating habits in accordance with balanced nutritional needs are not yet ideal. Children's eating habits, dietary diversity, and parental understanding all impact their nutritional status. To promote optimal growth and development in children, it is crucial to monitor and establish appropriate eating habits from an early age. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between eating habits and nutritional status of preschool-aged children. This study used a cross-sectional analytical design and quantitative methodology. Purposeful sampling was used to select a sample of 33 children from the 50 children in the study population. The study was conducted between September 22 and October 1, 2025. A Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) was used to examine dietary patterns, while nutritional status was measured through weighing using a digital scale. Based on the findings, 22 children (66.7%) had a healthy diet, while 11 children (33.3%) had a poor diet. The Chi-Square statistical test showed a p value of 0.008 (p < 0.05), indicating a relationship between eating habits and nutritional status in preschool children at Taman Annisa Miruek Kindergarten, Aceh Besar Regency. According to balanced nutrition guidelines, parents should regularly assess their children's growth and focus more on the diversity and balance of their food intake. To improve children's nutritional status as much as possible, schools are required to collaborate with health workers to educate parents and children about nutrition.

This study examines the efficiency of financial ratios in assessing corporate performance across countries. Although financial ratios are widely used as concise indicators of profitability, liquidity, solvency, and market value, their interpretive accuracy may vary across institutional, regulatory, financial, and macroeconomic environments. The objective of this study is to conceptually evaluate whether financial ratios can function as universally comparable performance measures in heterogeneous cross-country settings. Using a qualitative literature-based method, this study synthesizes prior findings on financial ratio analysis, financial statement comparability, market efficiency, regulatory enforcement, and macroeconomic stability. The findings indicate that profitability, liquidity, solvency, and market-based ratios are context-dependent indicators rather than universally stable measures. Their efficiency is influenced by accounting standards, audit quality, leverage norms, tax systems, capital market maturity, and macroeconomic volatility. The study proposes a contextual framework for interpreting financial ratios according to their sensitivity to national conditions. The implication is that researchers, analysts, and investors should combine ratio analysis with institutional and macroeconomic diagnostics to reduce biased performance interpretation in cross-country corporate evaluation.
