This study aims to understand the meaning of halal lifestyle for Generation Z Muslim consumers in East Java through a phenomenological approach. In recent years, the concept of halal lifestyle is no longer limited to food and beverage consumption, but has expanded to include fashion, skincare, digital services, and even social media interactions. Generation Z, as digital natives, interprets halal not only as a religious rule, but also as an identity, a social trend, and a form of self-actualization. This study integrates the results of previous empirical studies that show that halal awareness, religious education, marketing strategies, and the influence of public figures play a significant role in shaping halal behavior among the younger generation. The results of the literature review indicate that Generation Z in East Java experiences complex dynamics in adopting a halal lifestyle, ranging from identity dilemmas, ethical challenges, to the influence of local culture. This phenomenological study confirms that halal lifestyle is a multidimensional phenomenon influenced by spiritual values, consumption rationality, and digital interactions. These findings are expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the study of Muslim consumer behavior and form the basis for developing a halal industry that is more adaptive to the characteristics of the younger generation..

The phenomenon of job hopping has become an important concern in the dynamics of modern employment, especially among generations X, Y, and Z. Frequent job changes in a short period are often triggered by various factors, ranging from the pursuit of job satisfaction, the need for flexibility, to the desire to gain broader experience (Arlita & Sari, 2025). The internal socialization activities conducted at PT Borneo Samarinda aim to enhance employees’ understanding of job hopping behavior and its impact on organizational stability and company productivity. These activities are carried out in the form of interactive sharing sessions involving employees across divisions. The socialization materials include the understanding of the job hopping concept, main causes in each generation, negative impacts on the company, and adaptive solutions that can be implemented by management and employees. Results show increased participant awareness regarding the risks of job hopping, particularly related to reduced loyalty, high recruitment costs, and loss of institutional knowledge. Open discussions during the sessions revealed employees’ commitment to be more reflective about their personal careers and loyalty to the company. This socialization is expected to be a preventive step that encourages strengthening the organizational culture and creating a balance between individual satisfaction and corporate sustainability.

The braking system is a crucial component in a vehicle, where its performance is highly influenced by the wheel's rotational speed and the geometry of the brake pad. This study aims to analyze the impact of wheel rotational speed and variations in pad geometry on the temperature of the brake pad. The braking process generates heat due to friction, which, if not properly managed, can reduce braking performance and accelerate brake pad wear. The experiment was conducted at four levels of wheel rotational speed: 1000 RPM, 1500 RPM, 2000 RPM, and 2500 RPM. The testing system was designed using a braking system simulator equipped with a speed sensor (LM393) and a temperature sensor (K-type thermocouple), which were connected to an Arduino microcontroller and displayed in real-time through a Graphical User Interface (GUI) in MATLAB. The test results indicated that both the geometric shape of the brake pads and the wheel rotation speed significantly affected the resulting temperature. Standard brake pads produced the highest temperature at a speed of 2500 RPM, reaching 63.33°C. In contrast, brake pads with holes offered the best performance by maintaining a lower temperature of only 43.00°C. Furthermore, an increase in wheel rotation speed led to a noticeable rise in temperature; for standard pads, the temperature increased from 36.67°C at 1000 RPM to 63.33°C at 2500 RPM. This demonstrates that RPM is a major factor in heat generation due to friction. The MATLAB GUI effectively visualized the relationship between RPM and temperature, facilitating the analysis and evaluation of the data.

This study aims to describe the nature of children from an Islamic educational perspective. This study uses a library research method by examining various relevant literature, including classical texts, the Qur'an, hadiths, and contemporary scientific works that discuss the concept of children in Islam. The results of the study indicate that children, from an Islamic perspective, have a very noble and strategic position, encompassing six main aspects. First, children are seen as a trust from Allah SWT. Second, children are a potential that needs to be developed. Third, children function as the next generation and bearers of the future of the community. Fourth, children have the right to receive a good and proper education. Fifth, children are positioned as subjects who have rights and roles in social life, not just objects of education. Sixth, children are also a source of happiness and well-being for their families and their surroundings. In the context of Islamic education, there are several methods that can be applied to educate children, including the method of role model, reward and punishment, the story method, and the advice method. These four methods play an important role in shaping children's character, faith, and morals in accordance with Islamic values. Understanding the nature of children in Islamic education is the main basis for building a generation that is faithful, has noble morals, and is responsible for themselves, their families, and society.
