The development of digital technology has driven transformations in public services, including the judicial sector. Legal Aid Posts (Posbakum) in Religious Courts play a strategic role in ensuring access to justice, particularly for vulnerable and economically disadvantaged communities. Although Posbakum services have been implemented in accordance with Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) Number 1 of 2014, challenges persist at the pre-litigation stage, especially regarding the public’s initial legal information readiness and administrative preparedness. Field data from the Posbakum of the Slawi Religious Court for the period January-August 2025 show that out of 1,337 registered cases, approximately 600 applicants arrived with administratively incomplete documents at their initial visit. These shortcomings were generally technical and could be completed within the same service flow. This condition indicates the need to strengthen access to early legal information that is clear, understandable, and easily accessible. This study aims to analyze community needs for digital-based Posbakum services at the pre-litigation stage and to formulate a conceptual chatbot model as an alternative service enhancement. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the community requires a legal information system that is simple, interactive, and accessible via mobile devices. Based on these findings, this study proposes the SI-SATSET chatbot model (Simple, Accountable, Targeted, Efficient, and Affordable Information System) as a digital pre-litigation assistant. This model is expected to support Posbakum performance, strengthen community legal empowerment, and improve access to justice in Religious Courts.

Financial literacy is an important skill that needs to be introduced from an early age so that children can understand the value of money and manage it wisely. This activity aims to improve basic financial literacy among children at LKSA Santa Anna Bojonegoro through a participatory educational approach. The implementation method included pre tests, interactive material delivery, discussions, and simple case studies on priority scales and budgeting. Of the 37 participants, 20 children aged 8–18 were sampled. The pre-test results showed an average understanding of basic financial literacy concepts of 73.6%. After the activity, there was an increase in understanding, indicated by the participants' ability to differentiate needs from wants, develop spending plans, and foster savings awareness. The facilitator also found that the main issue among participants was self-control over consumptive behavior, which was addressed through reflective exercises and the implementation of strategies for delaying purchasing decisions. This activity was well-received and proven effective in fostering a rational mindset regarding pocket money management. Overall, this socialization of basic financial literacy can be the first step in developing responsible financial habits from an early age.

This community service program aims to strengthen legal awareness among Kodingareng fishers through community-based legal education tailored to their social characteristics and work structures. The program was implemented through initial mapping, participant segmentation based on local fishing typologies—papekang, papattek, and pagae—and dialogical legal education linked directly to everyday fishing practices. The educational content focused on clarifying categories of prohibited acts, legal consequences, and individual responsibility within both independent fishing and vessel-based collective work. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ ability to articulate legal boundaries, assess legal risks based on specific actions, and understand the relationship between legal compliance, resource sustainability, and household livelihood stability. Although economic pressure, long working hours, and patron–client relations remain significant constraints on rapid behavioral change, the enhancement of legal awareness represents a meaningful outcome within the framework of community service. The findings suggest that community-based legal education can function as an effective preventive strategy against fishing-related crimes and provide a foundation for sustained legal empowerment initiatives in small island communities.

The extruder-type floating pellet machine is a form of appropriate technology that works by using a screw system to push the raw material while applying pressure to form dense pellets. The main source of raw material for making these pellets comes from trash fish, which are small fish caught by fishermen that are unfit for consumption and have low economic value. Trash fish are relatively cheap because they are classified as non-economical, but they have great potential for use as fish feed. Their distinctive strong aroma can stimulate fish appetite, while their relatively high protein content makes them an ideal source of nutrition. Before use, the trash fish are first dried and then ground using a flour machine to achieve a fine texture. The floured material is then mixed and the moisture content is adjusted to around 42%, so that the extrusion process can run optimally when using the extruder-type pellet machine. The material formulation consists of 70% trash fish meal, 15% corn meal, and 15% wheat flour. The resulting pellets are then tested in a feed laboratory and show protein levels ranging from 30-40%, depending on the quality of the trash fish raw material used. This community service activity involves fish farmer groups in the Beji area, East Ungaran District, which is expected to increase fish farmer insight on how to make floating pellets using an extruder type pellet printing machine.

Civil servants (ASN) entering retirement represent a strategic human resource asset for national development; however, their potential is often underutilized due to an institutional vacuum. This study identifies this fundamental problem as manifesting in two dimensions: the absence of a cohesive structure among the retired community and the lack of a structure that systematically connects them to the economic empowerment ecosystem. Consequently, the transition from active service to a productive retirement period presents a significant challenge. The purpose of this research is to design an effective institutional forum model to serve as a facilitative bridge. The analysis employs a framework integrating three pillars: Mochtar Kusumaatmadja's Development Law Theory as the philosophical foundation, Ansell and Gash's Collaborative Governance concept as the governance paradigm, and the Pentahelix model as the operational framework. This study proposes a multi-stakeholder collaborative forum designed to synergize the roles of government, industry, academia, communities, and the media. The primary recommendation is the establishment of a formal entity functioning as an incubator and accelerator. This entity is intended not only to address the economic needs of retirees but also to align with the country's constitutional mandate to achieve sustainable social welfare.
