The purpose of this study is to examine the reasons why people become victims of internet fraud through the Steam game trading platform and to discuss the modes used by the perpetrators. The three main informants of this research are victims of online fraud through the Steam game trading platform. Apart from that, it also seeks the opinions of experts about this case of online fraud. These results are expected to be able to provide deeper insights into cybercrime cases on the Steam platform and the strategies used by online fraudsters when using the Steam platform. In addition, the results are also expected to raise government awareness to take better measures to combat online fraud in the future. In addition, this research can serve as a basis for creating policies that protect the public from the threat of online fraud.

This research aimed to explore information related to the misuse of computer technology for criminal activities in the novel Simvlacrm by Cassandra & Noorca Marendra Massardi. With the goal of preventing similar cybercriminal actions in real life, this research employed a descriptive method, involving activities such as reading, analyzing, and writing key points from the literary work. The primary findings encompass the misuse of computer technology as a tool for cybercrime, particularly in the forms of hoaxes and wiretapping. It is anticipated that this research will contribute to a deeper understanding of the potential risks of computer technology to cybersecurity

Increasingly advanced technological developments can also have negative impacts. One of them is cybercrime, namely phishing. The existence of phishing will also refer to a scam or fraud. This research aims to increase public knowledge in the Bandarharjo village environment about the dangers of phishing and scams in daily life. This community service activity is an effort to increase community knowledge. The method of transmitting the material is through giving lectures, discussions, and distributing leaflets. The use of these methods and media is effectively applied to increase public awareness regarding the dangers of phishing and scams. According to the evaluation carried out, the level of public knowledge has improved and they are aware of the importance of socialization regarding phishing-type cybercrimes. It is hoped that this activity can have a positive impact and long-term benefits in raising awareness of the dangers of cybercrime in the future in people's daily lives

Juridical Review of the Digital Banking System for Customer Protection discusses legal certainty for customers in banking transactions via internet banking. The study highlights the protection of customers' personal data and the security of banking information regulated in related agreements including Law no. 10 of 1998 concerning banks and Law no. 11 of 2008, which was changed to Law no. 19 of 2016 concerning electronic information and transactions. The existence of digital transformation in the development of the world, makes the maritime industry increasingly rely on technology to carry out navigation, communication, and logistics intermediaries. As the maritime industry continues to adopt digitalization and adapt, the need for strategy as well as strengthening cybersecurity becomes critical for the country. The increase in cybercrime and its vulnerabilities should make Indonesia more aggressively address or anticipate this problem. Although it is proven that indonesia in its initiation of a cybersecurity strategy has increased, Indonesia is seen as still lacking to show the nation's commitment in terms of cyber security, when compared to data from NCIS (National Cyber security Index) from 2016-2023 Indonesia is still far below its neighbor, Malaysia, which is also a maritime country. Through a qualitative approach, this article aims to explain the urgency of cybersecurity in the maritime sector, highlighting challenges and solutions to protect ships, ports, and maritime infrastructure from cyber threats in Indonesia.

Opportunities for crime in the digital business world include various forms of threats, such as system hacking, theft of personal data, financial fraud, and other criminal acts that can harm companies and damage consumer trust. Digital business is a business activity that in its implementation utilizes technology as a medium, either when creating or in a series of marketing activities. In an effort to deal with opportunities for crime in the world of e-business, companies must prioritize information security, strict policy implementation, education and training for employees, as well as partnerships with security and government agencies. This research uses a qualitative literature study method by obtaining secondary data through published journal articles with the question "Are there many opportunities for crime in the utilization or use of e-business?". Based on this, it is clear that there are still many opportunities for crime in the digital business world and continue to occur, where the crimes that often occur are fraud, hacking, as well as cybercrime and cyberfraud.

. In today's rapidly evolving digital era, e-commerce has emerged as a cornerstone of global trade. However, the proliferation of online fraud incidents has given rise to significant ethical concerns. This study delves into the ethical ramifications of online fraud profiles and tactics within the cybercrime domain, particularly their impact on the e-commerce ecosystem. Ethical considerations play a pivotal role in shaping behavior within e-commerce, safeguarding consumers, and guiding the formulation of effective policies by both e-commerce entities and governments. This research scrutinizes the phenomenon of online fraud in e-commerce transactions through a survey involving two respondent groups: Information Systems students at ITS and students from other departments. The survey results reveal that online fraud inflicts substantial emotional distress on victims, including feelings of panic, anger, and sadness. Financial losses and the potential exposure of sensitive data are prevalent repercussions of online fraud, eroding consumer trust and prompting questions about the ethical conduct of fraudsters. To address these issues, recommendations encompass heightened awareness of online fraud risks, increased transparency among e-commerce sellers, streamlining fraud reporting procedures, and a commitment to upholding higher standards of business ethics. The overarching objective is to foster a more ethical, secure, and sustainable e-commerce environment. In summary, this research offers comprehensive insights into how respondents perceive and experience online fraud in Indonesian e-commerce transactions, providing valuable guidance for more effective mitigation.

There are still many legal violations regarding personal data via the internet and also regarding the financial risks suffered by bank customers. There are regulations that protect bank customers who use internet banking from the threat of cyber crime and what legal measures can be taken by bank customers who use internet banking if the customer's personal data is not protected or their personal data is leaked. The research design or structure used by the author in this research is Library Research. There are several laws and regulations that regulate the personal data of customers and also banks and bank customers who feel disadvantaged due to the dissemination of customer personal information. That legal protection efforts have been made but have not reflected the principle of balance that is needed. The development of information and communication technology has significantly influenced people’s lives, particularly in the use of digital media and social media. However, this development has also led to various forms of cybercrime, such as online fraud, personal data theft, the spread of hoaxes, and social media account hacking. The low level of digital literacy and public legal awareness has become one of the factors increasing the risk of cybercrime. This community service activity aimed to improve public awareness and legal understanding regarding the dangers of cybercrime through legal socialization activities. The method used in this activity was a socialization method with educational and participatory approaches through lectures, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and case simulations. The results of the activity showed an improvement in public understanding of the forms of cybercrime, legal consequences, and preventive measures for safe and responsible digital media use. In addition, this activity encouraged the emergence of public awareness to use social media wisely and protect personal data security. Therefore, legal socialization regarding cybercrime can serve as a preventive effort in building a law-aware society with good digital literacy.

Along with the rapid development of information technology, customer interaction with BCA digitally has also increased. This is followed by the risk of technology crime, so BCA continues to improve its information technology security system. The development of BCA's data security system is carried out with the aim of protecting data security and ensuring information technology systems are always ready to serve customer transactions, including preventing and anticipating cybercrimes and potential fraud. National vital objects have an important role in the life of the nation and state, both in terms of economic, political, social, cultural, defense, and security aspects. National vital objects also have a quite strategic role in national development. Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is a data security strategy implemented by BCA on an ongoing basis to increase the security of important electronic information from information theft or access by unauthorized parties. To ensure security in accessing BCA's internal applications that are connected to the internet, BCA applies additional security in the form of two-factor authentication to ensure access to the application is carried out by the right person. BCA has also used a data classification solution to ensure that every piece of data in the company is classified according to the level of data confidentiality.

Crimes that often occur in cyberspace are crimes that are relatively new, cybercrime is growing rapidly along with the development of internet technology that is happening today. The spread of hoaxes during the Covid 19 pandemic has become a big problem because many people believe hoaxes, causing the handling of Covid 19 to be very slow and causing many victims. The Covid 19 pandemic has forced all people in the world, including Indonesia, to be comfortable living side by side with Covid 19. This research uses a normative legal research method using a statutory approach. The main source of this research is regulations. The results of this study indicate several crimes that can be used as protection by consumers who experience losses due to fake news amid the Covid 19 pandemic, namely Article 14 paragraph (1), paragraph (2), Article 15 Article 14 paragraph (1) and Article 45A paragraph (1). ) and (2), and article 28 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions.

This article has the aims and objectives to be obtained, namely to find out and analyze the importance of the existence of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on internet sites, and how forms of regulation based on positive law in Indonesia. This study uses a normative legal research method with a statutory approach, the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The results of the research have shown that the existence of IPR on internet sites has basic values ​​and objectives, namely as legal protection for creators owned by individuals or groups. for his hard work in making copyrighted works with economic value contained therein and Anticipating and also preventing violations of IPR belonging to other people, HKI is also currently regulated in various legal constructions that apply in Indonesia, such as Law Number 28 Year 2014 concerning Copyright, Law no. 15 of 2001 concerning Marks and other implementing regulations. With the objectives and construction of the applicable law, it is actually important for the government to continue to optimize and review the application of the law periodically in order to prevent IPR violations on internet sites carried out by cybercrimes.

One type of cybercrime that is currently trending is online gambling. This paper will discuss the problems of the efforts of the Banyumas Police in tackling online gambling crimes and what are the obstacles for the Banyumas Police in tackling online gambling crimes. The discussion shows that the efforts of the Banyumas Police in tackling criminal acts of online gambling have made three efforts, namely pre-emptive, preventive and repressive efforts. Obstacles to the Banyumas Police in tackling online gambling crimes are due to a lack of public awareness which is still reluctant to report perpetrators or places that carry out gambling to the police, so that this will slightly hinder the police's efforts.
