This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using biopore holes in Pasuluhan Village as a means of absorbing rainwater and producing natural compost. To manage the intensity of rainwater entering the soil and processing organic waste, Pasuluhan residents can create biopore absorption holes as a simple technology that has great potential in managing the intensity of rainwater absorbing into the soil and managing organic waste. The method used includes making biopore holes in 6 strategic locations in the Pasuluhan area. Several points were used to make biopore holes, namely at the residences of Pak Sukriadi, Pak Subur and Pasuluhan Village. The research results show that biopore holes are able to increase the soil’s absorption capacity for rainwater, which has a positive impact in reducing waterlogging and flooding. Apart from that, biopore holes have also proven effective in processing organic waste into compost which is beneficial for soil fertility. Thus, it is hoped that the application of this technology can be a practical and environmentally friendly solution and can be easily applied by local residents in managing water and waste resources in the Pasuluhan area.

ISPA merupakan penyakit infeksi yang masih menjadi masalah di Indonesia karena kasusnya masih cukup tinggi. Meski pada orang dewasa tidak menimbulkan kesakitan yang parah, namun pada orang tertentu ISPA juga berpotensi meninmbulkan masalah kesehatan yang lebih besar. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas, pengabdi tertarik mencari alternative solusi untuk mengurangi masalah kesehatan pernafasan pada manusia khususnya warga Desa Sumilir. Pemanfaatan rempah-rempah alami dapat digunakan sebagai solusi pengobatan ISPA pada manusia, seperti jahe, kencur dan bunga telang yang mudah didapatkan. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian diberikan melalui metode sosialisasi informatif dan praktek langsung. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan aktif dalam sosialisasi dibuktikan dari pertanyaan yang diajukan dan warga antusias dalam mengikuti demo pembuatan minuman. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 17 warga Desa Sumilir, yang sebagian besar diikuti oleh Ibu-Ibu. Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dalam pemahaman peningkatan informasi kesehatan pernafasan dan sebagai langkah awal dalam mengurangi gejala ISPA.

This community service program aimed to socialize and produce a natural mosquito-repellent spray made from lemongrass and oranges as an effort to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). Through this program, the community was provided with knowledge about the benefits and methods of making environmentally friendly and safe natural sprays. The methods used involved socialization, spray-making demonstrations, and testing its effectiveness against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. The results showed that the spray produced was able to repel up to 90% of mosquitoes at the highest concentration (10%). This program not only increased public awareness of DHF prevention but also empowered them to create products beneficial for health and the environment.

Indonesia's nature has quite high biodiversity, especially plants and is a cultural heritage in utilizing medicinal plants to treat various diseases. This makes many farmers utilize local medicinal plants to be mixed into traditional medicines called livestock herbal medicine. The Community Service Program (PKM) carried out by PSDKU lecturers in the Animal Husbandry Study Program at Pattimura University in West Maluku Regency in collaboration with KKN students through training in making traditional herbal medicine for livestock carried out in Kiera Hamlet, Tounwawan Village, West Maluku Regency. The purpose of implementing this service is to introduce, practice and motivate livestock communities to mix livestock herbal medicine using simple tools and materials available in the surrounding environment. As well as obtaining economic potential in the form of increased income and welfare of livestock communities. The results obtained from this PKM activity were that all participants were very enthusiastic in participating in the intended activity because it was in accordance with the needs of livestock farmers.

Keterampilan dan pengetahuan umum berperan penting sebagai pendukung ketika santri telah terjun ditengah masyarakat. Keterampilan pembuatan sabun diberikan bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat pondok pesantren (santri) dan pengurus pondok mengenai pembuatan sabun. Sabun merupakan salah satu perlengkapan dalam rumah tangga yang tidak terlepas dari kebutuhan sehari-hari. Dalam pembuatan sabun selain memanfaatkan humektan alami ekstrak air tanaman Aloe vera L. sebagai bahan pelembut dalam formulasi sabun cair cuci piring, santri juga dapat menambah pengetahuannya dalam kimia. Peserta kegiatan adalah santri putra Pondok Pesantren Al Ihsan Banjarmasin sebanyak 15 orang. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari diskusi (penyuluhan) dan praktik langsung. Materi penyuluhan menjelaskan mengenai proses saponifikasi sementara pelatihan pembuatan sabun dilakukan melalui demonstrasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua santri atau sekitar 90 % santri putra belum pernah melakukan percobaan yang melibatkan bahan kimia terutama proses saponifikasi/pembuatan sabun dari bahan minyak dengan basa. Mereka sangat antusias dan bersemangat dengan pengetahuan yang mereka dapatkan dari proses pembuatan sabun dan keterampilan ini dapat mereka manfaatkan dalam pembuatan sabun dengan melakukan modifikasi warna dan bau wewangian yang berbeda.

Abstract. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. This disease continues to be a serious health problem in Indonesia, with high incidence rates in various regions, including rural areas. Efforts to prevent DHF are often focused on controlling mosquito vectors through various methods, one of which is the use of insecticides. However, the use of chemical insecticides can have negative impacts on human health and the environment. Therefore, this research develops a natural alternative in the form of Anti Mosquito Spray and Hand Sanitizer made from lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus). Lemongrass was chosen because it contains citronella, a compound proven to have activity as a repellent or mosquito deterrent. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of lemongrass-based mosquito repellent spray as well as its capability as a hand sanitizer. The results show that this product is not only effective in preventing mosquito bites but also safe to use as a hand sanitizer, making it a practical and environmentally friendly solution in the prevention of DHF. Abstrak. Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Penyakit ini terus menjadi masalah kesehatan serius di Indonesia, dengan tingkat kejadian yang tinggi di berbagai wilayah, termasuk daerah perdesaan. Upaya pencegahan terhadap DBD sering kali difokuskan pada pengendalian vektor nyamuk melalui berbagai metode, salah satunya adalah penggunaan insektisida. Namun, penggunaan insektisida kimia dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengembangkan alternatif alami dalam bentuk Anti Mosquito Spray and Hand Sanitizer yang berbahan dasar serai (Cymbopogon citratus). Serai dipilih karena mengandung senyawa sitronela yang terbukti memiliki aktivitas sebagai repelan atau pengusir nyamuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas spray anti nyamuk berbahan dasar serai serta kemampuannya sebagai pembersih tangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk ini tidak hanya efektif dalam mencegah gigitan nyamuk, tetapi juga aman digunakan sebagai pembersih tangan, sehingga dapat menjadi solusi praktis dan ramah lingkungan dalam upaya pencegahan DBD.

Using lip balm is very easy to apply to the lips and lip balm can also moisturize and brighten the lips. Lip balm is resistant to body temperature, and is harmless and smooth when applied so that the lips are cared for and healthy. The anthocyanin contained in mulberry fruit has the potential to act as a purplish red natural dye depending on the presentation of the mulberry fruit extract used, which has the positive side of being an antioxidant and scavenger of free radicals. The aim of this research was to determine the formulation and stability of the lip balm preparation formula using mulberry fruit extract (Morus alba L.) as a natural coloring with an accelerated stability test using 4 cycles. Using this research method, material testing includes organoleptic tests, homogeneity tests, melting point tests, pH tests, spreadability tests, adhesion tests, spreadability tests, stability tests, and hedonic tests, as well as preparation irritation tests. Based on the results of research on making lip balm from mulberry fruit extract as a natural coloring, it can be formulated in lip balm preparations, however if 20% extract is used it can affect the physical properties of the lip balm preparation, neither the 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% formulas. irritation was found.

This research is motivated by the use of artificial dyes that can cause toxicity and carcinogenesis to the skin, so that research was conducted to create natural dyes that are renewable, easily degraded, and environmentally friendly, one of which is natural dyes from strawberries. This study aims to analyze the results of the application of strawberries as natural dyes in character makeup with torn wounds in terms of color, adhesion, similarity and texture. This type of research is a quantitative pre-experimental research method. The object of this research is strawberries. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis seen from color, adhesion, similarity, and texture. The results of the study are in terms of color, strawberries can be used as natural blood dyes in character makeup with torn wound effects because they have a thick color, namely blackish red, as evidenced by an average score of 3 with a blackish red color category. In terms of adhesion, strawberries can be used as natural blood dyes in character makeup with torn wound effects because they have sufficient adhesion, as evidenced by an average score of 3.14 with a fairly adhesive category. In terms of similarity, strawberries can be used as a natural blood dye in character makeup with torn wound effects because they are considered quite similar to real blood, as evidenced by an average score of 3.14 with a fairly similar category. In terms of texture, strawberries in the results of character makeup with torn wound effects can be used as a natural blood dye in character makeup with torn wound effects, as evidenced by an average score of 3 with a category of less smooth. It is recommended that students develop further research on strawberries as a natural dye to be used as a blood effect in character makeup with torn wounds.

Ekstraksi fitur, juga dikenal sebagai ekstraksi fitur, adalah proses mengubah data mentah menjadi representasi yang lebih ringkas dan berguna yang dapat digunakan untuk analisis atau pemodelan lebih lanjut. Ini dilakukan pada tahap preprocessing sebelum masuk ke tahap analisis atau pemodelan. Pewarnaan alami dari berbagai tanaman yang menghasilkan warna tanin setelah pencelupan dikumpulkan menjadi satu alur gradasi warna yang berkaitan dengan susunan derajat atau peningkatan, peralihan warna dari satu warna ke warna lain. Variasi dalam alur ini dipengaruhi oleh jenis tanaman, lama pencelupan, jenis fiksasi yang digunakan, jenis kain, dan lokasi tanaman yang dijadikan sampel.Metode ekstraksi fitur dengan Matriks Co-Occurrence Level Gray (GLCM) digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi gradasi warna yang dihasilkan oleh pewarnaan pada daun Ketapang. Islam as a religion of rahmatan lil alamin, its teachings not only contain ritual worship, but also social worship. Zakat is a form of worship which is an obligation that must be fulfilled by every Muslim who has excess wealth. The potential figure for zakat in Indonesia is 327 trillion per year. The large potential zakat figures are not balanced with the welfare of the people, especially Muslims because the poverty rate in Indonesia is still high. The distribution of zakat in Indonesia is considered to be ineffective in overcoming the problem of poverty. BAZNAS as a national zakat management institution is now following in the footsteps of implementing productive zakat, although there are not many, but in Jakarta there are already BAZNAS that accept productive zakat, one of which is BAZNAS DKI Jakarta. This research was conducted to see the efforts and strategies of BAZNAS DKI Jakarta in managing productive zakat to reduce poverty. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with case study techniques. Data was obtained from interviews with BAZNAS sources as primary informants and the community as secondary informants. The results of the research show that the role of productive zakat in alleviating poverty is just helping the mustahik in running a selling business and has not provided any significant changes to the mustahik, and BAZNAS DKI Jakarta has three strategies in managing productive zakat, namely direct assistance (cash), indirect assistance. directly (products), and empowerment of disabled people.

In Mungkung Village, Rejoso District, Nganjuk Regency, KKNT students at the East Java "Veteran" National Development University conducted research to use onion skin waste as raw material for making natural pesticides. The main goal is to reduce people's dependence on chemical pesticides which have negative impacts on health and the environment. The research process was carried out through observation, socialization and demonstration. The results of the activity show that natural pesticides from onion skin waste are effective in controlling plant pests and are safe for the environment because they do not leave dangerous residues. The success of this outreach and demonstration increased public awareness of the importance of using agricultural waste wisely. This activity supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in responsible consumption and production as well as protecting life on land, by reducing the use of chemical pesticides and utilizing organic waste. It is hoped that this waste management model can be widely adopted for more environmentally friendly and efficient agriculture.

This study investigates the potential use of eggshell waste and sugar palm fibers (ijuk) as natural filters for air pollution. Eggshells, rich in calcium carbonate, and ijuk, with its dense fibrous structure, are hypothesized to effectively capture airborne pollutants. An experimental method was employed to create and test filters made from these materials. Results show that the combination of eggshells and ijuk significantly reduces pollutant particle concentrations, providing an environmentally friendly alternative for air filtration.

Meningkatnya jumlah kesakitan dan kematian akibat diabetes merupakan masalah kesehatan global. Secara klinis, penggunaan bahan kimia (obat hiperglikemik oral) secara berkelanjutan dapat memberikan efek yang buruk pada tubuh. Pernyataan ini membuat peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai obat antidiabetes yang terbuat dari bahan alami seperti tanaman kenitu (Chrysophyllum canito L.). Tujuannya adalah untuk melihat efektivitas pada ekstrak etanol daun kenitu (Chrysophyllum canito L.) sebagai antidiabetes serta kandungan kimia pada ekstrak etanol daun kenitu (Chrysophyllum canito L.) dan dosis efektif dari ekstrak etanol daun kenitu (Chrysophyllum canito L.) dalam mengurangi glukosa darah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan eksperimental laboratorium dengan 5 kelompok uji diantaranya K-, K+, dan kelompok dosis dengan konsentrasi 25, 50, dan 75 mg/kgBB. Hasil penelitian ditemukan ketidaksamaan yang bermakna antara kelompok K- dan kelompok K+ serta kelompok K- dan kelompok dosis, tetapi tidak ditemukan ketidaksamaan yang bermakna pada kelompok kontrol positif dan kelompok dosis. Kesimpulannya adalah  pemberian ekstrak etanol daun kenitu melalui dosis 25, 50, dan 75 mg/kgBB dapat mengurangi glukosa darah tinggi dikarenakan senyawa yang ada pada ekstrak etanol daun kenitu, yaitu tanin, flavonoid, saponin, alkaloid dan steroid. Dosis ekstrak yang efektif dalam mengurangi glukosa darah adalah 75 mg/kgBB.

Abstract. One technology that is widely used today is ChatGPT, a chatbot that utilizes AI in its operation. One of the impacts that needs to be considered is the decline in student interest in reading. Students reading interest may decrease due to the convenience offered by ChatGPT through services that use natural human language. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of using ChatGPT on students' reading interest as well as identify other factors that may affect reading interest. This study investigates the effect of using AI ChatGPT on reading interest by involving respondents through filling out a Google Form questionnaire, that is Information Systems students at ITS. The results showed that there was no significant effect of using ChatGPT on the reading interest of ITS Information Systems students. The proposed recommendations include increasing student awareness of the importance of reading accredited literature, books, and scientific articles in the era of digital development. In conclusion, this study provides an in-depth insight into the influence of AI Chat GPT respondents regarding the reading interest of ITS Information Systems students.   Keywords: Artificial Intelligences (AI), Chat GPT, Reading Interest.   Abstrak. Salah satu teknologi yang marak digunakan saat ini adalah ChatGPT, sebuah chatbot yang memanfaatkan AI dalam operasinya. Salah satu dampak yang perlu diperhatikan adalah penurunan minat baca mahasiswa. Minat baca mahasiswa dapat menurun karena kemudahan yang ditawarkan oleh ChatGPT melalui servis yang menggunakan bahasa alami manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap minat baca mahasiswa serta mengidentifikasi faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi minat baca. Studi ini menyelidiki pengaruh penggunaan AI ChatGPT terhadap minat baca dengan melibatkan responden melalui pengisian kuesioner Google Form yaitu mahasiswa Sistem Informasi di ITS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap minat baca mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS. Rekomendasi yang diajukan mencakup peningkatan kesadaran mahasiswa akan pentingnya membaca literatur terakreditasi, buku, serta artikel ilmiah di era perkembangan digital. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai pengaruh AI Chat GPT responden terkait minat baca mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS. This article discusses the development of health tourism potential through the use of medicines from natural ingredients. Health and wellness have become a major concern of modern society, leading to increased interest in natural treatment alternatives. In this context, this study aims to explore the potential for developing tourist destinations that combine elements of health and natural beauty with the use of traditional medicines derived from natural ingredients. The research method involves surveying the latest literature on the use of natural medicines in the health sector, as well as case studies of several tourist sites that have successfully integrated these aspects. Data analysis was carried out to identify the advantages and challenges in developing health tourism based on natural ingredients, both in terms of health benefits and economic potential. The results of the study show that the use of medicines from natural ingredients in the context of health tourism has the potential to increase tourist attractiveness, promote local culture, and provide alternative treatments that are safer and more sustainable. However, challenges such as regulation of standards, public education and maintenance of natural resources need to be overcome for this development to be sustainable. This article provides insight into the potential and benefits of developing medicine-based health tourism from natural ingredients, as well as presents a holistic view of the relationship between health, nature and local culture in the context of tourism. The practical implication of this research is to provide guidance for stakeholders in planning, managing and promoting health tourism destinations that are sustainable and beneficial to all.

Penuaan secara alami mengakibatkan penurunan struktur dan fungsi organ tubuh, sehingga memicu terjadinya gangguan degeneratif seperti hipertensi pada lansia. Meningkatkan sirkulasi darah dan menurunkan tekanan darah adalah tujuan terapi musik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui bagaimana terapi musik alam mempengaruhi tingkat tekanan darah lansia dengan  hipertensi menggunakan metode kuantitatif desain kuasi eksperimen pada dua kelompok, dimana salah satunya kelompok kontrol. Convenience sampling digunakan pada 30 responden, yang kemudian dipisah masing-masing 15 orang untuk kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol.  P-value 0,001 tekanan darah sistol ditemukan pada uji t dependen pada kelompok intervensi. Nilai p pre-test dan post-test 0,001 menunjukkan bahwa diastol mempunyai pengaruh yang besar pada kelompok intervensi. Uji t independen dengan nilai p-value 0,001 (?0,05) pada tekanan darah sistol dan diastol menampilkan perbedaan penurunan tekanan darah. Ecoprint merupakan salah satu teknik cetak dengan pewarnaan alami dari daun, batang maupun bunga yang ada di lingkungan sekitar, sehingga dapat menjadikannya kegiatan yang ramah lingkungan dengan bahan-bahan yang mudah didapatkan. Teknik ecoprint menghasilkan motif yang unik dari berbagai bahan daun, batang maupun bunga yang digunakan, meski tidak semua bahan bisa digunakan secara langsung untuk ecoprint. Kegiatan pelatihan ecoprint di SP1 Tamilo dilatarbelakangi oleh tujuan memberi keterampilan kepada klompok tani Perempuan untuk menambah kegiatan ekonominya.  Dari hasil kegiatan ini diperoleh hasil yakni beberapa produk seperti totebag dan kain yang memiliki motif hasil ecoprint.

Background: The spices turmeric and dragon fruit are daily human needs. Natural dyes have beautiful and distinctive colors that are difficult to imitate with synthetic dyes. Natural dyes can be used as a basis for screen printing techniques. Screen printing is a printing technique using a template. Purpose: mixing natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit to apply screen printing techniques. Research method: experimental research. In this research, the natural dyes of turmeric and dragon fruit were mixed to apply the screen printing technique. Firstly, by collecting natural materials and reinforcing rubber. Next, make the dough until a strong dough is produced. After obtaining the water content in the dough. Next, screen printing is carried out onto fabric media. Findings: After mixing the natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit to apply the screen printing technique, it shows that the color strength is very significant on the fabric media. Implication: mixing the natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit for the application of screen printing techniques is very important to study and use as material. For future researchers, the theme we have taken here is that the originality is very strong, especially in the part about mixing the natural dyes turmeric and dragon fruit for the application of screen printing techniques. Become an evidence base in scientific development, especially in product design courses.
