Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia associated with abnormalities in carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism. A prominent complaint in patients with Diabetes Mellitus is that patients always feel weak and tire easily. Pharmacological actions are usually given insulin therapy and non-pharmacological therapy is used as a drug companion. One of the non-pharmacological therapies to reduce weakness and fatigue due to increased blood glucose is to apply a low-sugar diet. Where nurses provide low-sugar food and drinks while patients are in the ER and provide knowledge to patients and families about managing food and drinks independently for patients to consume while at home. The purpose of this application is to reduce blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus patients at the Biloro Pearawatan Health Center. Writing the final report of this case study using a descriptive method with a nursing process approach and based on Evidence Based Practice. The analysis of this case study was carried out in 1 patient with diabetes mellitus with the focus of implementing a low-sugar diet intervention. The results after a low-sugar diet were found to result in a decrease in blood glucose levels in patients on the first day of 351 mg/dl and after being intervened for 3 days it showed a decrease in glucose levels to 207 mg/dl. Low sugar diet interventions can be given to other diabetes mellitus patients to reduce blood glucose levels.

Asthma is a chronic disease characterized by airway hyperactivity due to inflammation and reversible airflow obstruction. The most common triggers of asthma are allergies (food or inhalants such as dander, dust, pollen), exposure to cold temperatures, and upper respiratory infections. Non-pharmacological therapy can be carried out with the buteyko breathing technique which aims to reduce dyspnea, asthma attacks, wheezing, reduce symptoms of nasal congestion and stop coughing experienced by sufferers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of buteyko exercise on dyspnea symptoms in asthma sufferers. The research method used was a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest to see differences in the dyspnea scale in the intervention group before and after the buteyko exercise. The results of the pre-test and post-test statistics p = 0.025 <0.05 where there were differences in the dyspnea scale after being given buteyko exercises. Prior to the Buteyko exercise, it was shown that 4 respondents (40%) had mild dyspnea, 4 respondents (40%) had mild, 2 respondents (20%) were mild. After doing the buteyko exercise, it was shown that 7 respondents (70%) had mild dyspnea, 3 respondents (30%) had mild symptoms. Research shows that there is a decrease in the level of dyspnea after being given buteyko exercises with an average dyspnea scale decreasing (negative rank) with a result of 3.00. It was concluded that there were differences in the dyspnea scale after being given buteyko exercises, that there were significant results for a decrease in the dyspnea scale in asthma sufferers.

Refers to a study conducted in 2006 at an orphanage in Ecuador to determine how massage therapy can reduce the incidence of diarrhea and morbidity, whereas massage therapy is considered safe and beneficial in reducing the consumption of anti-diarrhea medication. This research aims to find out the benefit of diarrhea massage to diarrhea intensity on toddlers. The research uses Pearson Correlation with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The toddlers under 5 years old at Puskesmas Mijen, Kota Semarang are taken to be the population in this research. This research uses a total sampling technique, with a sample of 12 toddlers. The technique of data collection uses a demographic questionnaire. The technique of data analysis is conducted by Pearson Correlation test. The result of this research found that the significance of the diarrhea massage to diarrhea intensity for toddlers at Puskesmas Mijen, Semarang is 0,001 (pvalue>0,05). The intensity of diarrhea in children under five after diarrhea massage was experienced by as many as 2 toddlers (16.7%), the intensity of diarrhea is rare in as many as 6 toddlers (50.0%), and the intensity of normal diarrhea occurs in 4 toddlers (33.3%), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between diarrhea massage and the intensity of diarrhea in toddlers at Puskesmas Mijen Semarang.   Keywords: Diarrhea massage, Diarrhea intensity, Toddlers

The increasing number of elderly people will have an impact on all arrangements in the community or family. Problems that often occur in the elderly will be a burden on the elderly, one of the problems that occur is insomnia. So this study aims to find out the relationship between insomnia and blood pressure in the elderly. Research method with quantitative survey analysis design, crossectional. The research was conducted in a nursing home with a sample size of 30 active elderly respondents with insomnia disorders. The results showed that there was no relationship between the level of insomnia and blood pressure with a significance value of 0.757> p value 0.05. These results indicate that statistically there is no relationship between the elderly with insomnia and blood pressure. Suggestions for home managers to provide interventions for elderly people who experience insomnia disorders with light therapy that is fun and has a positive impact on the elderly..

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) This is a gradual and irreversible kidney disorder that affects the body's capacity to regulate metabolism, fluids, and electrolytes, leading to the development of uremia. Hemodialysis (HD) patients with chronic renal failure are subject to fluid, dietary and pharmaceutical restrictions as well as activity and medication limits. Weight gain, edema, and high blood pressure will occur if fluid balance is not maintained or if there is excess fluid between dialysis sessions. But limiting fluids while receiving hemodialysis can have a number of negative consequences on the body, one of which is thirst and dry mouth (xerostomia), caused by decreased salivary gland production. This scientific study uses a descriptive methodology along with nursing care strategies to apply the "sipping ice cubes therapy" strategy to reduce thirst in CKD patients receiving hemodialysis. Evidence-based practice of nursing This procedure is carried out in the Nursing Room of RSUD Dr. dr. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City on December 26 2022 and January 26 2023. According to researchers, the administration of the innovative therapy "Sipping Ice Cubes Therapy" can significantly reduce thirst levels in CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) patients. It can be seen from the 6 respondents who were given the innovative therapy "sipping ice Cubes Therapy" all of which gave a positive response after evaluation, both direct evaluation after giving therapy or evaluation after 3 days of giving the implementation of "sipping ice Cubes Therapy"

Background: Because of the very high mortality in children and children under the age of five, bronchopneumonia is the leading cause of death in children under the age of five worldwide. When viruses, bacteria, microbes and fungi enter the lungs through the respiratory system, they infect the lung parenchyma and cause pneumonia. Objective: Analyzing ineffective airway clearance nursing care in children with bronchopneumonia by collaborative action of administering a nebulizer in the Picu Room of Prof. Hospital. Dr. H Aloei Saboe Methods: Participants in this study, which used a quasi-experimental design, received treatment or intervention before measuring and analyzing the impacts. The pre-post-test group design method served as the basis for the research design. In children with bronchopneumonia, this strategy is used to check the results before and after administration of the nebulizer. Two young people who fight against crime become samples. Results: The results of the study show the overall evaluation results after nursing actions, namely: Based on the results before being given a nebulizer to patients the problem was not resolved in 2 patients and after being given a nebulizer to patients the problem was resolved in 2 patients Conclusion: Based on the description above, inhalation therapy to reduce symptoms of shortness of breath in children with bronchopneumonia is effective where inhalation therapy or steam inhalation therapy using drugs can widen the bronchial airways resulting in complaints such as shortness of breath and disappearance of breath sounds.

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is an enlargement of the prostate that can cause obstruction of the prostatic urethra. One of the measures to treat patients with benign prostate hyperplasia is surgery. Surgery can irritate the bladder mucosa, causing pain. One of the non-pharmacological pain management that can be used is Benson relaxation. This relaxation is an action to free mentally and physically from tension and stress so that it can increase tolerance to pain. The purpose, the application of Benson relaxation was carried out for 2 days with a frequency of 2 times a day and a duration of 15 minutes. Methods of this research includes descriptive research with a case study approach, which aims to determine the description and effect of differences between 1 patients in the application of Benson therapy to reduce pain in postoperative patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. The results of study, researchers get an overview of the application of benzene therapy so that the results show that both respondents experienced a decrease in pain, the respondent complained of pain on a 6 scale after 2 days of benzene relaxation pain complaints decreased with a pain scale of 3. In conclusion, the application of Benson relaxation has an effect on reducing pain scale in postoperative patients with benign prostate hyperplasia.

Stroke is an acute neurological condition caused by decreased blood flow to the brain. Nervous system dysfunction occurs suddenly (within seconds) or rapidly (within hours) and the symptoms and signs correspond to the local area of ​​the brain affected. Objective: To conduct an analysis of managed cases with a medical diagnosis of non-hemorrhagic stroke with jigsaw puzzle pairing exercise therapy to increase upper extremity muscle strength Methods: This research is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post test. This type of research is a research design that is used to look for causal relationships with research involvement. The sample used in this study were 6 patients with a critical sample of patients who had non-hemorrhagic stroke who were treated at Prof. Hospital. Dr. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City. Results: The results of the study showed that changes in muscle strength were only present in Mr. I.T obtained an increase on the evaluation of the third day of implementation where there was an increase in muscle strength to 5/4, which means there was an increase using the MMAS (Modified Muscle Assessment Scale) it was found that the client was only able to lift the top part of the puzzle and put it back. (The patient reaches forward at arm's length, lifts the top of the puzzle, releases it back to the part of the table that is closest to the patient's body). Conclusion: Based on the research conducted, it was found that 6 respondents from the results of the assessment had measuring results that had been carried out after the Jigsaw Puzzle installation exercise, it was found that there was a change in the range of motion of the client's fingers while for the client's muscle strength and fine motor movements there had been no change. Stroke attack can cause permanent physical disability.

Elderly is someone who is over 65 years old and the elderly are also a risk group whose population is increasing. Elderly is not a disease, but an advanced stage of a life process which is marked by a decrease in the body's ability to adapt to environmental stress. The purpose of doing perceptual stimulation group activity therapy is that the client can reduce the depression he is experiencing and follow the treatment program optimally. Health counseling was held on Wednesday, June 7 2023. The population in this counseling were officers and the elderly in the Wisma Durian Room Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 2 Social Institution. After carrying out group activity therapy "ball relay" the results (100%) were officers and the elderly understand, understand and be able to exemplify how to play the ball relay.

Background: Stroke is one of the main health problems for the community because stroke can cause damage to the brain that appears suddenly, progressively, and quickly due to non-traumatic brain blood circulation disorders. Purpose: To conduct an analysis of managed cases with a medical diagnosis of hemorrhagic stroke with innovative mobilization therapy (Passive ROM) and tactile stimulation for upper limb recovery in the HCU Room of Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe City of Gorontalo Methods: This research is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post test. To determine the effect of providing innovative mobilization therapy (Passive ROM) and tactile stimulation to hemorrhagic stroke patients in the HCU Room of Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe City of Gorontalo. The sample used in this study were 5 patients with the sample criteria being patients who had hemorrhagic strokes who were treated in the HCU Room at Prof. Hospital. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City, patients who experience hemiparesa, patients have awareness of compos mentis. Results: Implementation of innovation in Mrs.FK On the first day the Ara test score was 0 until the third day there was no increase in the Ara test value which was still 0. Mr. RA on the first day the Ara test value was 1, on the third day the Ara test value increased enough to be 2. On Mr. UT on the first day the Ara test value was 0, on the third day the Ara Test value was 1. Mr. AH on the first day the Ara test value was 0, on the third day the Ara Test value was still 0. Mr. MH on the first day the Ara test value was 1, on the third day the Ara Test value increased to 2. Conclusion: Based on the research conducted, it was found that 5 respondents from the results of the study had the same complaint, namely experiencing weakness/hemiparesis of the upper extremities. The client's upper extremity muscle strength is 1/5, 3/4, 2/4, 4/2, 4/5, when the motor function test is carried out by holding the researcher's hand the client is unable to grip,

Introduction : Pain in labor is pain due to uterine contractions which can lead to increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system, changes in blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, and if not treated it will increase feelings of worry, tension, fear and stress. Warm and cold water compress therapy is a non-pharmacological method to meet the need for comfort and to treat pain. Objective : to determine the effectiveness of giving warm and cold compresses to reduce pain in active phase 1 infartu mothers at RSIA Siti Khadidjah Aisyiyah, Gorontalo city. Research Methods : One group of subjects will be used in this study with a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pre-post test strategy to determine cause and effect. Before the intervention, the subject group was monitored, and then after the intervention. Mothers who were in the early phase of the active phase of physiological labor in the VK room of RSIA Siti Khadijah Aisyiyah, Gorontalo City, were used as research subjects. Research Results : The results of this study found acute pain in the four patients, it was found that 2 patients were given warm water compresses, the pain level decreased to a pain scale of 4 (moderate) and in the administration of cold water compresses to 2 patients, the pain level decreased to a pain scale of 6 and 5 (currently). Conclusion : the conclusion of this study is seen from the level of pain that has decreased when given warm water or cold water compresses. Hot and cold compress therapy is a non-pharmacological method to treat pain.

Introduction: Stroke sufferers really need good treatment to prevent physical and mental disability because stroke patients can recover completely and quickly handled within the first 6 hours (golden period), but if more than that time does not get maximum treatment then there will be disability and physical weakness such as hemipares. Objective: This literature summary aims to review the relationship between the effectiveness of active range of motion (ROM) on increasing muscle strength in stroke patients.  Research method: In compiling this research literature researchers use the PIO method: Population is a stroke patient, Intervention with active ROM, Outcome muscle strength.Results: Based on 5 journals, it was found that there was an influence after Rangge Of Motion (ROM) therapy in healing stroke that experienced muscle weakness. Conclusion: ROM exercise is effective for increasing muscle strength and preventing muscle weakness, by giving exercise 2x a day morning and evening about 15-30 minutes.

Background: Self-efficacy is the perception of the ability to consider and implement behavior patterns as self-regulation that is obtained through motivation and determining achievement of expectations. Good self-efficacy is needed not only for healthy people but also for sick people, especially people with chronic illnesses. Decreased self-efficacy can occur in people with chronic illnesses. We know that people with chronic diseases have long treatment programs, even for a lifetime, such as taking medication and sometimes this feels boring or boring. Consuming drugs or running a continuous treatment program can lead to boredom so that it is possible to want to stop taking medication. This is the background for wanting to know what actions can be taken to increase self-efficacy in people with chronic diseases. Self-efficacy increases if there is effort in dealing with existing obstacles. Interventions can be provided by health workers in increasing self-efficacy in people with chronic diseases. Objective: This study aims to describe the effect of Beapreasi therapy on self-efficacy in patients with chronic diseases at the Bergas Health Center, Semarang Regency. Methods: The research design used was descriptive and was carried out on 6 respondents, all of whom became the experimental group or all of whom became respondents. The method used to determine respondents is a purposive sampling technique. All respondents were assessed for self-efficacy using a self-efficacy scale questionnaire which was measured 2 times, namely before and after being given Beapreasi therapy. Results: The study showed that the mean value of the self-efficacy scale in the experimental group before the intervention was 81.79 and the value of the efficacy scale in the experimental group after the intervention was 89.36. this shows that there is an increase in the value on the self-efficacy scale and there is a difference in the mean value on the self-efficacy scale in the experimental group before giving the intervention with after giving the intervention with a p value of 0.00, p value <0.05 so that there is a significant/significant effect of giving reward therapy on improvement self-efficacy. Conclusion: Beapreasi therapeutic intervention can be used to maintain self-efficacy or increase self-efficacy in patients with chronic diseases, with the hope that patients will remain enthusiastic in carrying out their care and life. Beapreasi therapy can be used as a nurse's independent intervention in accompanying the care of patients with chronic diseases who require lifelong treatment and this is in an effort to increase self-efficacy in sufferers of chronic diseases.

Introduction hypertension is a condition where blood pressure increases beyond normal limits. normal blood pressure limits vary according to age. Hypertension gymnastics is a sport whose one aim is to increase blood flow and oxygen supply to the active muscles and skeleton, especially to the heart muscle. The purpose of this hypertension exercise is to increase the knowledge of the elderly in the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 2 social institution regarding hypertension exercise to reduce blood pressure. The method used is by socializing and providing counseling and displaying posters containing the steps in hypertension exercise. The health counseling was held on Thursday, June 8 2023. The population in this counseling were the elderly in the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 2 Social Institution. After carrying out Health Education on hypertension exercises, the results (100%) were that the elderly in the Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 2 Social Institution understood, understand and be able to give an example of how hypertension exercises to lower blood pressure.

Insulin plays an important role in metabolism. miR-Let-7b-5p has an important role in the regulation of genes that play a role in the insulin signaling pathway. This study aims to look at the role of hsa-miR-Let-7b-5p in the insulin signaling pathway and the genes related. This research method is an in silico study using DIANA MiRPath v3.0. Pathway analysis was performed using DIANA MiRPath v3.0 web-based software to analyze miRNA regulation. This research uses data on the regulatory pathways of the Homo sapiens species. The results showed that there were 10 target genes from hsa-miR-Let-7b-5p in the insulin signaling pathway. The metabolic processes involved in the insulin signaling pathway are related to glucose uptake, lipogenesis, glycolysis, glycogenensis, antiapoptosis, protein synthesis, proliferation and differentiation. The NRAS, MAP2K2 and KRAS genes affect the process of proliferation, differentiation and protein synthesis. The CRKL gene influences the process of glucose uptake. The ACACA gene influences the process of lipogenesis. The GYS1 gene influences the process of glycogenesis. The PRKAR2A gene influences the antilipolysis process. The INPPL1 gene influences the inhibition of the PI3K gene into aPKC, PDKI2 and mTOR in various pathways in the insulin signaling pathway. Other pathway processes related to the insulin signaling pathway are the phosphatidyl signaling system and the MAPK signaling pathway. So that miR-Let-7b-5p as an indicator of examination or can be a target of therapy related to the role of insulin.

Background: A non-communicable disease that mostly affects the elderly in Indonesia is cardiovascular disease, which is the biggest cause of death for people aged 65 years and over with a higher number of deaths in developing countries. One of the non-communicable diseases commonly experienced by the elderly in society is hypertension or high blood pressure. Hypertension that occurs in society often causes problems, one of which is sleep quality disturbances. Sleep quality is one of the risk factors for hypertension. Inadequate sleep quality results in physiological and psychological balance disorders. Hypertension can be prevented by controlling risk factors, most of which are behavioral factors in the form of life habits, one of which is sleep quality. The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of sleep in the elderly with hypertension Methods: This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach using a questionnaire and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 61 respondents. Results: The most respondents were 60-74 years old with a total of 50.83%, the most sex was women with 57.4%. The most common sleep quality for the elderly was poor sleep quality at 64%. Conclusion: Most of the sleep quality of elderly with hypertension in Marga Village is poor, where hypertension affects the quality of sleep of the elderly so that it is hoped that the elderly will check their blood pressure regularly and carry out therapy to help stabilize blood pressure so that the quality of sleep can be improved.

Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever is caused by transmission of the dengue virus by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is common in tropical countries such as Indonesia, where new cases are found every year. According to WHO that dengue fever is the leading cause of hospitalization for children. Dengue hemorrhagic disease is more susceptible to infection in children because the child's immune system is still very weak, so the virus is easy to multiply quickly in the body. Knowing the pattern of treatment and analysis of potential drug interactions in pediatric patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever at the East Kalimantan Hospital. Methods: The research is non-experimental observational with a descriptive research design. The approach method used is the cross sectional method. Identification of data collection is carried out retrospectively, by taking sources from medical records for the years 2020-2021. Results: Of  the 47 patient samples, the most cases were male patients as many as 27 patients (57%) with the age of 11 years as many as 11 patients (23%) with a length of stay of less than 7 days as many as 45 patients (96%). Based on the pattern of treatment, the most widely used therapy was the rehydration group (RL) 28 patients (60%). In the case of drug interactions occurred as many as 2 cases (3%). Conclusion: In this study show that there are cases of drug interactions.

Anxiety is the most common feeling experienced by pediatric patients who experience hospitalization, anxiety that is often felt by children such as crying, fear of the environment and new people. The number of stressors experienced by children when undergoing hospitalization can have a negative impact on the child's development. This aim is to determine the effect of coloring play therapy on the anxiety level of preschool-aged children who experience hospitalization at the Banda Aceh Mother and Child Hospital. This study used a quantitative research design with a sample size approach of 5 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection instruments were carried out before and after carrying out coloring play therapy using observation sheets with a percentage calculation assessment scale. The results showed that before being given coloring play therapy, there were 2 respondents who experienced moderate anxiety (40%) and 3 child respondents who experienced severe anxiety (60%). And after being given coloring play therapy there were 4 child respondents who experienced mild anxiety (80%) and 1 person who was in the moderate category (20%). It is suggested that the results of this study can be used as a reference for coloring play therapy in preschool-age child patients who experience hospitalization anxiety in the children's room at the Banda Aceh mother and child hospital in 2021.

Pregnancy exercise is a movement therapy therapy given to pregnant women to prepare themselves both physically and mentally for childbirth. Pregnancy exercise is needed by every pregnant woman, because it can make the body fit and healthy, and able to carry out daily activities, so that stress due to anxiety before giving birth can be minimized. However, many pregnant women do not do pregnancy exercise because they are unsure and afraid of their pregnancy if they do pregnancy exercise. Pregnancy exercise exercises that are carried out regularly both at the gym and at home in their spare time can lead pregnant women towards a physiological delivery as long as there are no pathological conditions accompanying the pregnancy. The purpose of Community Service in the Work Area of the Caile Health Center is to increase the ability of pregnant women and cadres to practice pregnancy exercises, so that they will increase the knowledge and health of pregnant women and prepare for childbirth. This community service activity begins with training for existing Posyandu cadres, providing supporting facilities and infrastructure in the form of leaflets and modules for pregnant women exercise, and doing pregnancy exercises in home care. The results of this Community Service activity are the formation of pregnancy exercise cadres, pregnant women can practice pregnancy exercise at home, as well as the provision of facilities and infrastructure in the form of leaflets and pregnancy exercise modules

Background : Bullying behavior is a crime committed by children, so this behavior is considered abnormal, because it will have a negative impact on the victim. Purpose : Community service activities in the form of group assistance aimed at reducing bullying behavior in students of SDN 1 Ketindan Lawang. Methods : The method offered for partner problems is activities in the form of counseling about bullying and group assistance to students who have a tendency to bullying behavior. The method of implementing community service is in the form of counseling and group mentoring methods consisting of 4 sessions. Result : The result of this community service activity is that partner groups can understand and identify bullying and partner groups can reduce bullying tendencies. Conclusion :Bullying tendencies can be prevented by providing an understanding and educational approach in the form of conditioning good behavior as early as possible for students.
