It is expected that UMKM will become a leading economic sector in order to achieve its building goals. This is due to the fact that UMKM is one of the few businesses that can thrive in challenging economic conditions. Due to this, in order for UMKM to be able to continue, UMKM has to have sound financial management practices. The first is having accurate financial knowledge and the ability to create financial reports that are needed to formulate business strategies that will eventually emerge. The financial performance of East Sudimara Culinary MSME in Ciledug, Tangerang does not reflect a sound financial performance. Training and mentorship outcomes, such as basic accounting and financial report writing, raise MSME actors' knowledge of the value of the information collected.

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of financial performance using the EVA and MVA methods on stock returns by including firm size as a moderating variable. The research uses a quantitative approach. The research population is food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2021-2022 period. Using a purposive sampling technique, a sample size of 27 companies was obtained with a population of 40 companies. Analyzed using the SEM-PLS approach to test the hypothesis. The results of the research found that company performance had a significant effect on stock returns using the EVA and MVA methods. However, firm size has no effect on stock returns, so the firm size variable cannot moderate financial performance using the EVA and MVA methods on stock returns. This proves that the company has not been able to create added value to the company and firm size cannot determine the continuity of a company's business.

Stock returns are generated by investors from buying and selling activities of the stocks they own. The generated return is determined by the increase or decrease in the stock prices. These prices are formed by the fundamental performance of the company. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of factors such as financial distress, firm size, liquidity, and price to cash flow from operating activities on stock return. This study was conducted on transportation and logistics companies during the period of 2019-2022. A total of 22 companies were selected as samples for this research, using purposive sampling method and obtaining 88 relevant research data. The relationship between the dependent variable and independent variables was analyzed using multiple linear regression. The hypothesis test showed that the variable of financial distress, analyzed using the Zmijewski method, did not have any significant influence on stock return. Firm size, measured by total assets, was also not found to have a significant impact on stock return. The analysis of liquidity using the current ratio did not find a significant influence on stock return. However, price to cash flow from operating activities showed a significant and positive influence on stock return. This factor can be taken into consideration by investors and potential investors when analyzing the financial fundamentals of transportation and logistics companies before investing, as it has an impact on stock return.

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the implementation of Good Corporate Governance on Firm Value and Financial Performance. The sampling used purposive sampling technique, namely the selection of samples with certain criteria, so that the sample in this study was 32 samples. The implementation of Good Corporate Governance was measured by a score of corporate governance perception. index (CGPI). Firm value is measured by Tobin's q and financial performance is measured by return on assets (ROA). The results show that there is a significant negative relationship between good corporate governance and firm value, and there is a significant negative relationship between good corporate governance and financial performance. This shows that the market response to the implementation of good corporate governance is still lacking and the implementation of good corporate governance requires a longer period long time to see its success.

Fraudsters increasingly exploit unauthorized credit card information for financial gain, targeting un-suspecting users, especially as financial institutions expand their services to semi-urban and rural areas. This, in turn, has continued to ripple across society, causing huge financial losses and lowering user trust implications for all cardholders. Thus, banks cum financial institutions are today poised to implement fraud detection schemes. Five algorithms were trained with and without the application of the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to assess their performance. These algorithms included Random Forest (RF), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Naïve Bayes (NB), Support Vector Machines (SVM), and Logistic Regression (LR). The methodology was implemented and tested through an API using Flask and Streamlit in Python. Before applying SMOTE, the RF classifier outperformed the others with an accuracy of 0.9802, while the accuracies for LR, KNN, NB, and SVM were 0.9219, 0.9435, 0.9508, and 0.9008, respectively. Conversely, after the application of SMOTE, RF achieved a prediction accuracy of 0.9919, whereas LR, KNN, NB, and SVM attained accuracies of 0.9805, 0.9210, 0.9125, and 0.8145, respectively. These results highlight the effectiveness of combining RF with SMOTE to enhance prediction accuracy in credit card fraud detection.

This paper compares various machine learning models in their ability to predict financial trends, with a focus on time-series analysis. We evaluate models such as linear regression, decision trees, support vector machines, and deep learning, measuring their performance based on accuracy, computational cost, and interpretability. Our results reveal that deep learning models offer superior accuracy but are less interpretable, while simpler models, though less accurate, provide better insight into the underlying data. This research provides guidelines for selecting suitable models based on specific financial applications.

This research is motivated by the complex relationship between operating leverage, financial leverage, and earnings per share (EPS) in the context of corporate finance. This research aims to analyze the impact of operating leverage and financial leverage on earnings per share in manufacturing companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index during the period 2018-2022. Utilizing financial data from the sample companies, the study adopts a quantitative approach with regression analysis using Eviews to evaluate the relationship between operational and financial leverage with the performance of earnings per share. The research results indicate that operating leverage does not have a significant effect on earnings per share, with a partial test probability value of 0.9744 > 0.05. Financial leverage also does not have a significant effect on earnings per share, with a partial test probability value of 0.7368 > 0.05. Simultaneously, operating leverage and financial leverage do not have a significant effect on earnings per share, with a simultaneous test probability value of 0.94578 > 0.05. The calculation of the coefficient of determination shows that the independent variables in the model fail to explain the variation in the dependent variable well. Subsequent research is recommended to increase the sample size of manufacturing companies listed on the JII and replace insignificant independent variables with others that can significantly influence earnings per share.
