The phenomenon of hoaxes in the digital era has become a serious threat to social stability, democracy, and national security. Although the government has implemented various regulations, such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), the spread of hoaxes is still difficult to control. This article analyzes the development of legal awareness in overcoming hoaxes in Indonesia from a criminological perspective. With a literature study approach, this study highlights the weak legal awareness of the community as the main factor in the spread of hoaxes. Empirical studies show that political hoaxes dominate, with 55.5% of the total hoaxes identified in 2023, while 65% of hoaxes spread through closed WhatsApp groups. Criminological analysis uses several theories, such as the Theory of Crime Routines, Anomie Theory, and Differential Association Theory, which explain how weak social control and low legal culture make it easier for individuals to be involved in the spread of hoaxes. The results of this study recommend strategies to increase legal awareness through the integration of digital literacy in education, collaboration between the government and digital platforms, and strengthening policy-based regulations such as the NetzDG Law in Germany. With a systematic and data-based approach, it is hoped that public legal awareness will increase, so that it can reduce the spread of hoaxes and create a healthier and more responsible digital environment.

This study examines the transformation of waqf in the digital era through the waqf crowdfunding model and cash waqf savings products from the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. Waqf, which is traditionally manifested in the form of immovable assets, has now developed into movable assets such as cash waqf, supported by Law No. 41 of 2004. Digital innovations, such as waqf crowdfunding, allow wider community participation with small amounts for productive social projects, while cash waqf savings products in Islamic banking manage funds productively with the proceeds channeled to education, health, and public infrastructure. Despite having great potential in socio-economic development and in line with the Hifdzu Maal principle in Maqashid Syariah, the implementation of digital waqf still faces challenges such as unclear regulations, lack of public awareness, risk of mismanagement, and limited investment. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, case studies, and normative-sociological with in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies as data collection techniques. The research subjects were selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, as well as triangulation of sources and methods for data validity. The results of the study are expected to provide theoretical contributions and practical recommendations for the management of digital waqf that is professional, transparent, and beneficial to the community.

The increase in population has an impact on increasing waste, including cooking oil waste known as used cooking oil. This used cooking oil is not always thrown away, but can also be reused. However, improper disposal of waste cooking oil can cause environmental problems. Used cooking oil is a type of waste that can pollute the environment by increasing COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) levels in the water. Apart from that, this oil can also cause an unpleasant odor due to the biological degradation process. Currently, used cooking oil is often thrown directly into the drain. This research was conducted in Wonorejo Village, Surabaya, with data collection methods in the form of questionnaires, field observations and interviews as primary data, as well as a general description of the area and related literature as secondary data. The results of the analysis show that there are variations in views and practices in managing used cooking oil among respondents. The level of public awareness about the importance of managing used cooking oil to support the zero waste concept varies. The majority of respondents (64%) stated that the main responsibility for managing used cooking oil lies with the users themselves.

The Implementation of Smoke-Free Areas (KTR) is an important effort in tobacco control to protect the public from the dangers of smoking. This research aims to analyze the comparative implementation of KTR regulations between Indonesia and Singapore using Lawrence M. Friedman's legal system approach, which includes components of legal substance, legal structure, and legal culture. The research method employed is normative juridical with a comparative legal approach, using secondary data collected through literature study and analyzed qualitatively. The research results show that in terms of legal substance, KTR regulations in Singapore are more comprehensive and stringent with heavy sanctions, while in Indonesia they remain partial with relatively light sanctions. In the legal structure aspect, Singapore has a more effective system of supervision and law enforcement with technological support and adequate human resources, whereas Indonesia still faces coordination challenges between institutions and limited supervisory personnel. From the legal culture perspective, the level of awareness and compliance of Singaporean society towards KTR regulations is higher compared to Indonesia, which is still influenced by a permissive culture towards smoking behavior.

Fraud and money laundering are two forms of economic crime that harm many parties, both individuals and institutions. In order to combat and eradicate these crimes, law enforcement authorities often face difficulties in securing and recovering assets obtained from illegal activities. Therefore, the use of asset confiscation mechanisms becomes crucial in an effort to restitute victims and recover illicitly obtained funds. This thesis examines the practical legal challenges faced by the legal system in confiscating criminal assets. These include the process of investigation and gathering valid evidence, as well as the challenges of dealing with concealment and diversion of assets by criminals. Limited resources and differences in legal systems between countries are also factors that affect effective asset forfeiture.Next, the author reviews various strategies and policies that can be implemented to improve the efficiency of confiscating criminal assets. The main focus includes increased cooperation between law enforcement agencies, the use of modern technology in asset analysis and tracking, as well as efforts to raise public awareness about the importance of returning illegally obtained assets. Finally, the author presents decision Number: 1221/Pid.B/2020/PN JKT.SEL or a successful case in conducting asset confiscation for fraud and money laundering. These cases provide valuable lessons on effective tactics and strategies in facing the challenges of economic crime. In conclusion, asset forfeiture is an important tool in the fight against fraud and money laundering. Through greater international cooperation, improved legal systems, and the implementation of appropriate strategies, it is hoped that asset recovery efforts related to economic crime can become more successful and have a positive impact on victims and society as a whole.

The phenomenon of "vigilante" is still a serious problem in various regions, including Pangkalan Jati Village. This extrajudicial action not only violates social norms, but also has the potential to threaten public order and security. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of "vigilante" in Pangkalan Jati Village, as well as its impact on environmental security. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with community leaders, village officials, and victims/perpetrators of "vigilante" actions. The results of the study indicate that factors such as weak law enforcement, public distrust of the authorities, and lack of legal awareness are the main triggers for these actions. The impacts include increasing rates of violence, social divisions, and security instability. Ardiansyah. Evaluation of Regional Regulation Number 44 of 2002 concerning Peace and Order in Lima Belas Ilir Village, East Ilir I District. This study aims to: 1) Analyze and describe the Evaluation of Regional Regulation Number 44 of 2002 concerning Peace and Order in Lima Belas Ilir Village, East Ilir I District; 2) Analyze and describe the Supporting and Hindering Factors for the Evaluation of Regional Regulation No. 44 of 2002 concerning Peace and Order in Limabelas Ilir Village, East Ilir District I. The research design used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Descriptive research can be interpreted as a problem-solving procedure that is investigated by describing / describing the state of the subject/object of research (a person, institution, society and others) at the present time based on facts that appear or as they are (Nawawi in Klicit, 2008). The results of the study concluded that: 1) The implementation of Regional Regulation No. 44 of 2002 concerning Peace and Order in Limabelas Ilir Village, Ilir Timur I District has not been optimal so far. Problems related to peace and order still often occur, such as thuggery and violations by street vendors that disturb public order and order. Education has been carried out many times through socialization and approaches through local community leaders, but the number of violations has not been able to be suppressed and is still occurring. Related to this, the lack of a high level of public awareness in complying with the regulations is considered to be the main cause of frequent violations, plus the lack of optimal enforcement of violations committed, so that violators are not deterred and tend to be ordinary in committing violations; 2) Supporting Factors for the Evaluation of Regional Regulation No. 44 of 2002 concerning Peace and Order in Fifteen Ilir Village, East Ilir District I is the existence of clear rules or legal basis contained in Regional Regulation No. 44 of 2002 concerning Peace and Order itself, then the high commitment shown by the employees of the Fifteen Ilir Village Office. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is that there are still many residents of Lima Belas Ilir Village who do not understand Regional Regulation Number 44 of 2002, the level of public awareness in complying with regulations is still lacking, lack of supervision from related parties, so that in the implementation of Regional Regulation Number 44 of 2002 has not been able to be applied properly, and the approach taken to the community is still not optimal.

Iskandar Suhardi, Evaluation of Health Protocol Enforcement Performance by Members of the Merdeka Post during the Covid-19 Period by the Palembang City Fire and Disaster Management Service. This study aims to analyze the Performance Evaluation of Health Protocol Enforcement by Members of the Merdeka Post during the Covid-19 Period by the Palembang City Fire and Disaster Management Service. The study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that in the application of the health protocol itself in a combined unit of several elements and agencies, it has several weaknesses, first from the community side who really underestimates the Corona virus, then from the officers themselves there is still minimal knowledge in providing education about the importance of complying with health protocol. The enforcement of health protocols did not go as expected, based on the health protocol policy itself, because there were several aspects, where in fact not all people believed in the existence of the corona virus, some even said that this corona was just a political conspiracy and the like, so that officers had difficulty in enforcement of health protocols. In 2020-2021 the health protocol policy is going quite well, people still have fear and vigilance about the spread of the corona virus, but in the course of time and being supported by people who have been vaccinated 1 and 2, it makes people feel safer, so that strict adherence to simple wearing a mask is no longer obeyed, not to mention other things such as washing hands and so on. The implementation of this health protocol policy has many obstacles and the weak side is public awareness and the pros and cons regarding the presence or absence of the corona virus, so that some people do not obey the applicable rules, and this makes it difficult for officers to carry out the policies that have been determined. So in this case the officer must have the right technique or method so that the implementation process can be easier.

Amrul Mukminin. This study aims to analyze the Effectiveness of the Advertising Tax Contribution in Increasing Local Revenue in Palembang City. This research uses qualitative methods with data observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the advertisement tax management was an effort to increase PAD in Palembang City, to someone who was trying to be managed properly. However, there are indeed several problems where the supervision and participation of the community with illegal billboards is still happening and the implementation of regional regulations is not running properly, therefore the PAD from the advertisement tax has not been maximized. The supporting factor in this research is the availability of Palembang mayor regulation number 18 of 2011 concerning requirements, and fixed procedures for collecting advertisement tax and then Palembang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2004 concerning Development and Retribution for Advertising. In addition, to support the vision, mission and strategic plans of the Tax Management Agency. Two things support the effectiveness of the advertisement tax contribution. Internal and external factors inhibiting factors. Obstacles in internal factors, for example, the application of sanctions for billboards arrears who have just appeared without the knowledge of the officers, and the lack of socialization from the Regional Tax Management Agency so that the public does not know about the existence of regional regulations regarding advertisement tax. Whereas in external factors, for example, the community's low awareness of paying taxes or they tend to avoid and are dishonest in the report on the results of the installation of billboards and taxpayers who live outside the city of Palembang.

This study examines social norms in the short story "Good Morning, Unemployed!" by Seno Gumira Ajidarma using a literary sociology approach. This work describes the dynamics of the life of an unemployed person who is often the target of community stigma. Social norms, such as the pressure to be economically independent and the hope of success, are examined through the narratives and characters in this short story. The study reveals the psychological impact of stigma, unfair access to opportunities, and the importance of solidarity amid social pressure. This analysis shows the role of short stories as a medium of reflection and criticism of social reality that is often overlooked. With a qualitative descriptive approach, this study emphasizes the relevance of social issues in literature as a reflection and driver of public awareness.
