This research aims to identify the problems faced by English education students at STAI Miftahul Ulum in writing courses. The background of this research is based on the importance of writing skills in the academic world and the challenges faced by students in mastering linguistic, cognitive, psychological, and learning environment aspects. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and observation methods. The research subjects were second, fourth, and sixth-semester students in the 2023 academic year who had taken Basic Writing, Editing & Revising Erroneous Text, and Academic Writing courses. The results showed that the main problems lie in grammatical errors and the organization of ideas related to linguistic aspects. Cognitively, students have difficulty developing ideas and drawing logical conclusions. Psychologically, low motivation and self-confidence exacerbate students' writing abilities. Meanwhile, an unsupportive learning environment, such as limited access to reading sources and minimal guidance from lecturers, becomes a significant external constraint. The conclusion of the study indicates that the appropriate solution involves intensive guidance in grammar, increased opportunities for writing practice, and the creation of an interactive learning environment. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective and structured writing learning strategies.

Psychology is a scientific discipline that aims to understand human behavior. The differences in human behavior in response to the presence of stimulus have proven that every human being is unique and not the same, and their needs are different. No human being is the same psychologically even though their physical condition looks the same to the naked eye. This affects human abilities as well when faced with the source of the problem at hand. Every human being must constantly develop their competence, so as not to experience a mental crisis that can eventually lead to pathological disorders. Understanding human uniqueness especially in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities will help in the smoothness of the counseling process. At SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya, the counseling process is not based on psychological theory alone, but depends on the student. How to approach students who have problems at this high school with one of the ways in each class there is 1 hour of counseling lessons a week, so that students do not have fear, but students become more courageous to consult the BK teacher.

The implementation of citizenship rights between officials and the public in Indonesia is a complex and dynamic process. Despite the challenges, a commitment to democratic principles and the protection of citizens' rights can strengthen the relationship between officials and communities. With an inclusive and participatory approach, Indonesia can build a more just, transparent and sustainable society. The value of equality means that every citizen has equal rights, equal obligations, and equal standing before the law and government. Public participation in the political and decision-making process is essential to maintain the sustainability of democracy. People have the right to be involved in the discussion and determination of policies that affect their lives. Through elections, public forums and various other participatory mechanisms, people can express their aspirations and control public officials. This study analyzes the level of political participation in general elections in rural Indonesia. Through a survey of a number of respondents, this research identifies factors that influence political participation, such as education level, political awareness, and access to information. The results show that the level of political participation in rural areas is still low and is influenced by several obstacles. This research suggests the importance of improving the quality of political education and providing adequate infrastructure to increase people's political participation. As the subject of citizens' rights, the community has a very important role in ensuring these rights are realized. This paper discusses how the community can play an active role in political participation, oversight of the government, and in demanding their rights. The challenges faced by the community in carrying out this role, as well as efforts to increase community participation, are also reviewed.

This study aims to analyze participants’ understanding and compliance with sharia principles in the sharia insurance claim process in Indonesia. Sharia insurance, which is based on the principle of mutual assistance and tabarru’ contract, is expected to provide protection in accordance with Islamic law. However, challenges arise in its operational practices, especially in the claim process. This study uses a qualitative approach by interviewing sharia insurance participants to explore their level of understanding of sharia principles, claim procedures, and challenges faced during the claim process. The results of the study indicate that participants’ understanding of sharia principles is still limited, which has an impact on their lack of clarity in undergoing the claim procedure. Some of the main challenges identified include administrative constraints, long claim processing times, and unclear claim procedures. Lack of understanding of sharia principles also worsens the smoothness of claims. Based on these findings, this study suggests the importance of increasing sharia literacy through training, seminars, and educational materials that are easy for participants to understand. In addition, simplification of claim procedures is needed to increase transparency and ensure that the claim process is in accordance with sharia principles. The implication of this study is the importance of improvements in the education system and operations of sharia insurance to improve participant understanding and compliance, as well as strengthen trust in the sharia insurance industry in Indonesia.
