The rapid development of technology and the dynamic global labor market require young generations, particularly Generation Z, to possess career readiness that is determined not only by technical skills but also by non-technical competencies, or soft skills. This study aims to analyze the role of soft skills, particularly creativity, in shaping the career preparedness and success of Generation Z. Literature synthesis indicates that Generation Z excels in digital literacy and technological adaptability but still faces challenges in social and emotional competencies, such as effective communication, empathy, and cross-generational collaboration. The imbalance between hard skills and soft skills affects work effectiveness, career mobility, and the ability to build professional networks. Creativity emerges as a strategic soft skill that enhances motivation, innovation, and productivity, and can be developed through the integration of soft and hard skills, project-based learning approaches, educational technology, and the strengthening of self-efficacy. The study also identifies challenges in fostering creativity in real workplace environments, including hierarchical organizational cultures and limited mechanisms for rewarding new ideas. Based on these findings, it is recommended that educational institutions, industries, and policymakers collaborate to create a sustainable ecosystem for soft skills development, enabling Generation Z to become innovative and adaptive change agents in a competitive global career landscape.

The soil in Kedungdandang Hamlet, Muncar, has previously been identified as expansive clay that is highly sensitive to changes in moisture content and exhibits significant shrink–swell behavior, which leads to a reduction in bearing capacity and structural damage such as cracking in floors and walls, therefore, soil improvement through stabilization is required. This study aims to determine the effect of adding cement and rice husk ash (RHA) on the mechanical properties of expansive clay soil by using 3% cement and 6%, 8%, and 10% rice husk ash based on the weight of the soil. The results of the unconfined compressive strength (UCT) test indicate that the natural soil has a qu value of 28.62 kN/m², which increases to 55.08 kN/m² with the addition of 3% cement and 6% RHA, to 62.66 kN/m² with 3% cement and 8% RHA, and reaches the highest value of 86.98 kN/m² for the mixture containing 3% cement and 10% RHA. This increase in qu value indicates that the stabilization process improves the mechanical properties of the soil through a pozzolanic reaction, resulting in a more stable soil structure and a higher bearing capacity.

Culture is an integral part of human life that cannot be separated from daily activities. As cultured beings, human beings have a responsibility to preserve cultural heritage so that it is still understood, lived and understood by the next generation. Baobolak village, which is located in Nagawutung District, Lembata Regency, is one of the areas with Lamaholot ethnic communities that are rich in various cultures, both in the form of object and intangible culture. However, with the Times and the flow of modernization, some local cultural values began to erode and potentially forgotten by the younger generation. In an effort to preserve the culture, an effective method is needed to maintain the existence and reintroduce local culture to the wider community. One of the methods considered relevant is through cultural documentation. This study aims to document the various forms of Culture found in the village of Baobolak, both in aspects of history, tradition, and social values of the local community. The development of digital technology has brought about major changes in the spread of da'wah and the implementation of Islamic counseling. Da'wah that used to focus on face-to-face is now transformed through social media and digital platforms, so that religious messages can reach a wider audience without time and space limitations. Digital media presents opportunities for da'i to convey da'wah with varied and interesting content, especially for the younger generation. However, challenges remain, such as the lack of direct emotional interaction and the difficulty of monitoring potentially deviant content. Meanwhile, Islamic counseling in the digital era is developing through online services, either through websites, telephones, chats, and video conferences. These services facilitate access to counselling, reduce distance barriers and social stigma, and provide flexible counseling alternatives. However, online counseling also has weaknesses, such as limitations in reading body language, network technical constraints, and counselors' skills that are not optimal in utilizing technology. Thus, Islamic da'wah and counseling in the digital era require the readiness of human resources, mastery of technology, and the application of good ethics in order to run effectively, professionally, and provide wide benefits to society.

Digital transformation in the Industry 4.0 era has accelerated changes in consumer behavior and intensified competition in online markets. Under heterogeneous and increasingly saturated conditions, mass-marketing approaches become less effective, making niche market strategies more relevant as a path to differentiation. This article aims to formulate a systematic framework for independently building a niche market in the digital era through a synthesis of academic literature and a practical social-media case. The study uses a conceptual literature review integrating niche marketing theory, niche success characteristics, and social media marketing dynamics. The review indicates that effective niche market development follows sequential stages: (1) identifying specific market needs/problems, (2) designing a relevant product/service solution, (3) sharpening the target into a clearly defined niche, (4) formulating a unique selling point (USP) and value proposition, (5) conducting small-scale validation through a portfolio/MVP, (6) executing social media marketing, (7) maintaining consistent content and digital branding, and (8) performing continuous adaptive evaluation. The @foodish_mks case reinforces that content consistency and social-media utilization act as key mechanisms linking digital marketing intensity to niche success. This article contributes a cross-sector niche-building roadmap aligned with algorithmic, community-based digital platforms, and proposes a testable hypothesis model (H1–H6) for future empirical validation.

This community service (PkM) was conducted to address problems related to the convergence law, sensitive periods, and developmental tempo among students (santri) at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong. The main issues included an imbalance in development (cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual) due to fragmented learning approaches, missed stimulation during the sensitive periods, and a uniform approach that disregarded individual developmental tempo. The objective of this PkM was to provide an understanding of these concepts to both the students and the administrators, and to establish a more effective and adaptive learning approach. The methodology employed a qualitative approach with strategies such as participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), involving the Area D Administrators and students of Pondok MTs Zainul Hasan 1 Genggong. The results of the mentoring for Area D students demonstrated that their development became more balanced and integrated (convergence law), stimulation was provided during the appropriate sensitive periods, and mentoring was adjusted to the individual developmental tempo. These changes resulted in holistic progress, stronger skill formation among the students, and an increase in their learning motivation.

Illegal mining activities in Sebulu District have become a serious issue as they not only violate the law but also cause significant damage to public infrastructure such as village roads, bridges, and drainage systems, which are deteriorating due to heavy trucks transporting mining materials. Although Article 158 of Law Number 3 of 2020 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining stipulates strict sanctions, law enforcement remains weak. The main contributing factors are local community involvement, inadequate supervision by authorities, and social legitimacy that perceives mining as a normal activity. This study aims to analyze criminal liability for illegal mining offenders and to identify its social and environmental impacts in Sebulu District. The research applies a socio-legal approach that combines normative and empirical methods. The normative approach examines applicable legal provisions, while the empirical approach includes field observations, interviews with local officials and residents, and documentation of relevant regulations and events. The findings indicate that the most severe impacts are the deterioration of village roads and bridges and environmental degradation, such as changes in water color in nearby drainage channels. These conditions cause public concern and disrupt daily life. Weak law enforcement allows illegal mining to persist. Therefore, synergy among law enforcers, local government, and communities is needed to strengthen regulation enforcement and develop sustainable economic alternatives.

Overburden removal is a critical phase in coal mining operations, as it directly affects production continuity and operational efficiency. However, production realization often deviates from the mine plan due to various operational constraints. This study, conducted at Pit K1 Mahakam of PT. Insani Baraperkasa, evaluates the causes of underachievement in overburden stripping targets using the Six Big Losses framework, which classifies inefficiencies into Breakdown Losses, Setup and Adjustment Losses, Idling and Minor Stops, Reduced Speed Losses, Process Defect Losses, and Reduced Yield Losses. The analysis revealed that the dominant losses were Reduced Speed Losses (26%) and Setup and Adjustment Losses (10%), primarily caused by disposal congestion, shift changes, and repairs at the loading and disposal areas. Minor contributions were found from idling (3%), production losses (5%), while breakdown losses showed negligible impact. These factors led to increased standby time and reduced equipment cycle effectiveness. Improvement strategies are recommended through optimized disposal allocation, reduction of waiting time, and stricter control of external operational disruptions to enhance stripping efficiency and achieve production targets.
