This article aims to explain the impact of implementing multicultural education on the religious mindset of the millennial generation. The writing of this article uses a type of qualitative research with library research methods. The results of this study are to determine the impact of the implementation of multicultural education on the religious mindset of the millennial generation, namely: (1) improving self understanding and self-concept well. (2) increase sensitivity in understanding other people. (3) respecting religious and cultural differences between groups regarding an event, values, and behavior. (4) open our minds in responding to various issues. (5) Stay away from stereotypical views and try to respect others. With multicultural education, a person will become a good human being and more tolerant of diversity, and not passionate about the religion he adheres to. Therefore, a religious mindset based on multicultural education needs to be instilled as early as possible. This includes an appreciation of the existence of cultural plurality, recognition of human dignity and rights, and development of human responsibility towards the inhabited earth.

One of the problems in pastoral care is not understanding the spiritual needs and character of each congregation. A pastor acts as a parent and teacher for his congregation. In the process, a pastor of the congregation often does not reach the ultimate goal of his pastoral care, namely the maturity of the faith of his congregation with a sign of changing earthly characteristics into heavenly ones. This is because there is no brotherly love and the pastor does not fully understand the spirit of heresy that develops in the congregation and how to avoid this error that starts in the church. In line with this problem, this article seeks to provide ideas and explanations about the role of the pastor as a parent for his congregation in facing the end-time character crisis. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative study with a literature analysis approach.

Microlearning help increases students’ retention rates and comprehension levels. If the material is broken down into smaller parts, it is easier for students to remember lessons, and easier for teachers to update content and to know learning outcomes. However, the limitations are that microlearning is not suitable for complex and complicated material, and requires detailed explanation. The learning method is dependent on the learning objectives. If the material is in small parts, it can prevent students from understanding the material in-depth. Educators are required to produce their learning content. However, not all educators have the capacity and time to prepare content. Microlearning strategies are related to the individual qualities of learners, the propensity of teachers to utilize digital technology, and external circumstances such as the availability of learning resources.

The data sources in this study consist of primary data obtained from Islamic Religious Education teachers and class XI students of SMA Mandala Trikora Jayapura, as well as secondary data derived from various relevant references such as books, scientific journals, theses, and other supporting documents. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is tested through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation (data display), and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education learning at SMA Mandala Trikora Jayapura has implemented the discussion method as one of the learning strategies. This method is implemented through three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, the teacher first provides an explanation to students, then randomly divides them into groups to discuss the material presented. The implementation of the discussion method has had positive impacts, including increased student engagement with peers and the teacher, increased self-confidence in expressing opinions, and improved speaking skills in front of peers. However, some challenges arise, such as some students being less active in thinking and discussing, resulting in passive participation in group activities.
