Fertilization serves as a fundamental component of crop cultivation, wherein the application of mineral nutrients is crucial for plant nourishment, facilitating various physiological processes critical for growth and development. The objective of this study is to establish an optimal recommended dosage that enhances cabbage growth and yield. The experimental design employed in this study was a randomized block design with four replications. The treatments consist of seven fertilization levels, as follows: No fertilization with nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), or potassium (K) (P0), reference fertilization (P1), 0.5 dose of unbalanced compound fertilizers (P2), 0.75 dose of unbalanced compound fertilizers (P3), 1.0 dose of unbalanced compound fertilizers (P4), 1.25 dose of unbalanced compound fertilizers (P5), and 1.5 dose of unbalanced compound fertilizers (P6). The experiment indicated that the application of unbalanced compound fertilizers enhances cabbage plant growth, as evidenced by increased plant height and leaf number compared to the control treatment. Additionally, fertilization improves yield components relative to untreated plants. The application of 0.5 doses of unbalanced compound fertilizers proves agronomically effective, yielding the highest relative agronomic effectiveness at 169%, meaning a 1.69-fold increase in yield. Economically, the same dosage is also highly beneficial, achieving the highest R/C ratio of 2.35 and generating a profit of Rp. 14,365,150. The study results confirm that unbalanced compound fertilizers were both agronomically effective and economically advantageous. The recommended dosage for cabbage cultivation is 134 kg/ha, applied in two stages: 50% at 1 WAT (weeks after transplanting) and the remaining 50% at 4 WAT.

Calcium deficiency among Indonesian adolescents remains a nutritional concern that necessitates the development of food products utilizing alternative calcium sources. Eggshell powder has potential as a calcium fortification ingredient due to its high calcium content and abundance as food waste. This study aimed to analyze the effect of eggshell powder substitution on the organoleptic characteristics and acceptability of oatmeal cookies among adolescents aged 10–15 years. This experimental study used a Completely Randomized Design with four substitution levels: 0% (F0), 5% (F1), 6% (F2), and 7% (F3). Organoleptic quality testing was conducted by three trained panelists, while hedonic testing was performed by 30 adolescent panelists on selected formulas (F0, F2, F3), analyzed using the Friedman test (α = 0.05). Organoleptic quality results showed that F2 and F3 had characteristics closest to the control, while F1 showed higher negative attribute intensity in taste and texture parameters. Hedonic test results showed no significant differences between formulas across all parameters (p > 0.05), with mean scores ranging from 3.87 to 4.63 out of a scale of 5 (very much liked). Formula F3 is recommended as the best formula as it demonstrated acceptability comparable to the control while containing the highest calcium substitution level.

This study aims to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of the work environment and work-life balance on employee work stress at Hotel X. The research design is causal quantitative, with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 26.0 for Windows. The sample was obtained through purposive sampling (non-probability) of 120 respondents. The research subjects were employees working in shifts. The analysis results show that, (1) both variables simultaneously have a negative and significant effect on work stress, (2) the work environment has a negative and significant effect (sig. 0.002), and (3) work-life balance has a negative and significant effect (sig. 0.000). The work-life balance variable dominates its influence compared to the work environment, as seen from the lower significance value. These findings confirm that improving work-life balance and the work environment effectively reduces stress, especially for shift workers who are vulnerable to time imbalance. Based on the results, organizations are advised to optimize human resource management by maintaining a balance between job demands and employee conditions, as well as ensuring a proportional workload. Improvement in work-life balance can be achieved through flexible leave policies, adequate breaks between shifts, no overtime days except in emergencies, and minimizing personal time interruptions. These steps are expected to enhance employee well-being, retention, and productivity in the hospitality sector. Further research is recommended to explore different variables and methods, including comparing non-shift employees with the same variables, for more comprehensive insights.

This study examines code-switching dynamics in parenting communication among two Indonesian migrant families who have acquired Malaysian citizenship. Using a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation of four informants comprising parents (First Generation) and children (Second Generation). Analysis was conducted using Poplack's (1980) typology, Gumperz's (1982) sociopragmatic framework, and Spolsky's (2004) language ideology perspective. Findings indicate that intra-sentential switching is the most productive form with Malay functioning as the matrix language, addressee specification emerges as the most dominant function, and message qualification reveals a negative pattern in which Indonesian is no longer effective as a command reinforcer. Second Generation informants in both families tend to identify as Malaysian, with varying intensity that correlates directly with the degree of Indonesian language exposure at home. Code-switching among First Generation informants is shown to function as a deliberate identity strategy, whereby Indonesian is selectively maintained in specific domains as a conscious effort to preserve cultural ties amid the dominance of Malay in everyday life.

Digital transformation in the public sector encourages civil servants to utilize technology not only for administrative purposes but also to improve efficiency, accuracy, and work performance. This study examines the influence of Intelligent Learning-Based Training and Digital Training Components on the Digital Productivity of civil servants at the Bureau of Economic Affairs of the Regional Secretariat of Lampung Province, with Adaptive Competence serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental survey design was applied, and data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to employees engaged in digital-based work activities. The data were analyzed using structural model testing procedures. The findings reveal that Intelligent Learning-Based Training does not significantly influence Adaptive Competence or Digital Productivity. Conversely, Digital Training Components positively and significantly affect both Adaptive Competence and Digital Productivity. Adaptive Competence also has a positive impact on Digital Productivity and mediates the relationship between Digital Training Components and Digital Productivity. However, Adaptive Competence does not mediate the relationship between Intelligent Learning-Based Training and Digital Productivity. These results indicate that civil servants’ digital productivity is more effectively improved through practical, relevant, accessible, and well-evaluated digital training programs than through intelligent learning systems alone. Therefore, public institutions are encouraged to develop digital training initiatives that align with employees’ daily work demands while strengthening their adaptive competence in responding to technological changes.

The rapid growth of digital marketplaces has significantly reshaped consumption behavior among university students. Promotional strategies based on scarcity and urgency, such as flash sales, limited-time discounts, and countdown timers, are designed to induce psychological pressure, potentially triggering Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). This study aims to examine the relationship between self-control and FoMO among university students who use digital marketplaces. A quantitative correlational design was employed, involving 70 undergraduate students selected through accidental sampling. Self-control was measured using the Brief Self-Control Scale, while FoMO was assessed using an adapted Online FoMO Scale. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s product-moment correlation after fulfilling normality assumptions. The results revealed a significant negative relationship between self-control and FoMO (r = –0.522, p < .001), indicating that individuals with higher self-control tend to experience lower levels of FoMO in marketplace contexts. These findings highlight the role of self-regulation as a protective factor against emotionally driven consumption behavior. This study contributes to the literature on digital consumer psychology by extending the concept of FoMO beyond social interaction into economic decision-making contexts. Strengthening self-control is therefore essential in helping individuals manage psychological pressure arising from urgency-based marketing strategies.

The number of cases of sexual violence against children in Indonesia remains alarming, particularly among elementary school-aged children. One factor contributing to children's high vulnerability is a lack of understanding of body boundaries and self-protection. Furthermore, education about the body and self-protection is often considered taboo, resulting in inadequate communication with children. This article discusses the application of a positive narrative approach in writing an educational animation script entitled "Aku Jaga Tubuhku" (I Take Care of My Body) as a self-protection literacy medium for children aged 6–9 years. The research used a descriptive method, outlining the script design process through pre-production, production, and post-production stages. The positive narrative approach was implemented through the development of story, dialogue, characters, and conflict that emphasize child empowerment without creating excessive fear. The results indicate that this approach can help children understand the concepts of body boundaries, safe touch, and unsafe touch in a more concrete and emotionally secure manner. The integration of song elements as memory aids also strengthens children's understanding and retention of the message. Thus, writing an animation script based on a positive narrative can be an effective educational communication strategy for conveying self-protection literacy to elementary school-aged children.
