This study examines the influence of product quality, service quality, and word of mouth on purchase decisions at DNA Spot Café Surakarta, based on 100 randomly selected respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that service quality and word of mouth have a positive and significant effect, while product quality is not significant. The coefficient of determination of 61.3% indicates that the independent variables explain most of the variation in purchase decisions, contributing to marketing management research in the café industry. The results highlight the crucial role of service quality in shaping customer perceptions and driving decision-making in the café industry. High-quality service fosters positive customer experiences, which, in turn, encourage repeat visits and enhance loyalty. Additionally, the significant influence of word of mouth underscores the importance of social interactions and customer recommendations in the decision-making process, especially in a service-based business like a café, where personal experiences are often shared and valued among peer groups. Conversely, the insignificance of product quality suggests that while product standards are important, they may not be the primary driver of purchase decisions at DNA Spot Café. This indicates that customers may prioritize the overall experience, atmosphere, and peer recommendations over product differentiation when choosing where to dine or spend leisure time. These findings contribute to the body of marketing management research, particularly in the context of the café industry, by emphasizing the strategic importance of service excellence and customer engagement strategies to enhance brand reputation and influence consumer behavior. Future research could explore additional factors such as pricing, promotional strategies, and customer loyalty programs to provide a more comprehensive understanding of purchase decision dynamics.

This research aims to formulate a business development strategy for AK Laundry, a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) located in Palembang that operates in the laundry service industry. As competition in this sector continues to intensify, MSMEs are required to adapt quickly through effective strategic planning. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, direct observations, documentation, and questionnaires, ensuring a holistic understanding of both internal and external conditions. The analysis was carried out using the SWOT framework, which identifies internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. The findings reveal that AK Laundry possesses several strengths, including good relationships with its loyal customer base, competitive pricing that appeals to a wide range of market segments, and a strategic location that facilitates accessibility. However, weaknesses were also identified, such as limited promotional efforts, particularly in digital channels, and occasional delays in completing customer orders, which may affect satisfaction and trust. From an external perspective, AK Laundry has opportunities to expand its services, particularly through the growing demand for pickup and delivery facilities, as well as changes in consumer lifestyles that increasingly prioritize practicality and efficiency. Nevertheless, the enterprise must also address potential threats, such as intense competition in pricing strategies among similar businesses and the risk of item loss, which could undermine its reputation. Based on the SWOT matrix, AK Laundry is positioned in Quadrant I, indicating that it holds considerable potential for aggressive growth. Therefore, the recommended strategies include strengthening digital marketing initiatives, introducing innovative services to differentiate from competitors, enhancing employee competencies through training programs, and upgrading equipment to improve service quality and speed. These strategies are expected to help AK Laundry leverage its strengths and opportunities effectively, ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness in the MSME laundry service sector.

This study investigates the influence of the marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place) on purchase decisions for automotive products at PT. XYZ Sidoarjo. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 consumers who had purchased vehicles, spare parts, or services within the last six months. A structured questionnaire measured the four marketing mix elements and purchase decision using a 5-point Likert scale. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to test the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The results indicate that all four elements significantly and positively affect purchase decisions, with price emerging as the most dominant factor. The model’s Adjusted R² value of 0.915 shows that the marketing mix variables explain 91.5% of the variation in purchase decisions. These findings reinforce the relevance of the 4P framework in the automotive sector and highlight the need for integrated marketing strategies. Practically, the study suggests that PT. XYZ Sidoarjo should focus on maintaining competitive pricing, enhancing product quality and innovation, optimizing promotional activities—especially digital marketing—and strengthening distribution channels to sustain competitiveness in a dynamic market. In addition to these findings, the study provides insight into consumer behavior within the automotive industry, particularly in a highly competitive market like Sidoarjo. Consumers are increasingly sensitive to pricing structures, especially given the economic pressures and the availability of alternative brands. Price sensitivity, therefore, should be a focal point in shaping future marketing strategies. Companies need to conduct regular market analysis to ensure their pricing aligns with customer expectations and perceived value.

Tax avoidance is a form of tax planning, which refers to the implementation of tax reduction strategies by companies through legal means due to imperfections in tax legislation. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of transfer pricing and thin capitalization on tax avoidance with profitability as a moderating variable. The research was conducted on all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2023. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling method, resulting in 127 companies, with a total of 508 observations across four (4) periods. Data collection was carried out using a non-participant observation method by accessing financial statements from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the SPSS application. The results show that profitability moderates by weakening the relationship between transfer pricing and tax avoidance. However, profitability does not moderate the effect of thin capitalization on tax avoidance.

This study was conducted to examine the influence of ticket prices, facilities, and location on visitor satisfaction at Tirta Bening Swimming Pool. The approach used was quantitative with data collection through primary and secondary sources. The study population consisted of all visitors to Tirta Bening Swimming Pool. Data analysis techniques used included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that partially, the three variables—ticket prices, facilities, and location—influence visitor satisfaction, as indicated by the t-test results. Meanwhile, based on the F-test, all three simultaneously also have a significant influence on the level of visitor satisfaction. More specifically, the facility variable has a dominant influence on visitor satisfaction. This indicates that comfort, cleanliness, completeness of facilities, and the quality of service provided by the management significantly influence visitors' perceptions of their experience at the swimming pool. Affordable ticket prices are also a major attraction, especially for families and student groups seeking cost-effective recreational alternatives. Meanwhile, the strategic and easily accessible location is also an added value, especially for visitors from the surrounding area. The implications of these findings are the importance of regularly upgrading and maintaining facilities, as well as providing additional services such as a cafeteria, comfortable changing rooms, and responsive security personnel. Management is also advised to periodically evaluate ticket pricing to maintain competitiveness while still supporting operational and service development. Furthermore, location promotion through social media and digital platforms can also expand visitor reach. This research provides an important contribution to the development of tourism destination marketing and management strategies based on visitor needs and satisfaction.

This study investigates the influence of promotion, brand image, and location on purchasing decisions at 3Second Store Kediri. The research employs a quantitative approach using both primary and secondary data sources. The primary data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 309 respondents, while the secondary data were collected via interviews with store supervisors and direct observation at the research site. The variables under examination include promotion, brand image, and location as independent variables, and purchasing decision as the dependent variable. Data analysis involved both partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing to determine the strength and significance of each variable’s effect. The findings reveal that, partially, each of the three independent variables—promotion, brand image, and location—has a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions. This indicates that improvement in any of these aspects will lead to a higher likelihood of customers making a purchase. Simultaneous testing also demonstrates that the three variables collectively exert a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions. Among these, promotion emerges as the most dominant factor affecting purchasing decisions, as confirmed through the partial t-test results. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.581, which signifies that 58% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by the three examined variables, while the remaining 42% is attributed to other factors not covered in this study, such as product quality, customer service, and pricing strategies. These results suggest that marketing strategies focusing on well-planned promotional activities, maintaining a strong and positive brand image, and choosing a strategic store location can effectively increase customer purchasing decisions. The findings provide valuable insights for retail management, particularly for fashion retail brands like 3Second Store, in developing targeted strategies to optimize sales performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of pricing, sales promotions, and stock availability on sales volume at H&G Collection. In an era of increasingly fierce business competition, companies need to manage marketing strategies effectively to maintain and increase sales. Appropriate pricing can influence product appeal to consumers, planned sales promotions can increase purchasing interest, while maintained stock availability ensures that consumer demand is met without interruption. This study used a quantitative approach with primary data sources obtained through questionnaires. The population in this study was all H&G Collection employees in the marketing, finance, and general administration divisions. The sampling technique used a saturated or census sampling method, where all members of the population were sampled. The number of respondents involved in this study was 37. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability before being used in data collection. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 19 software. The analysis methods included classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and F-tests to determine partial and simultaneous effects between variables. The results of the study indicate that the three independent variables, namely pricing (X₁), sales promotion (X₂), and stock availability (X₃), have a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely sales volume (Y). This proves that the right pricing strategy, effective promotions, and optimal inventory management can significantly increase sales volume. This finding implies that H&G Collection management needs to maintain and even improve the quality of the implementation of these three variables in an integrated manner to support sales growth and the company's competitiveness in the market.

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of product development, service quality, and pricing on sales volume at PT Indoqurma Sejahtera, East Jakarta. The background of this study is based on increasingly fierce business competition, especially in the trading industry, so companies need to identify factors that influence sales volume. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to 50 employees directly involved in marketing and sales activities, using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability before use. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression using SPSS software version 19, which includes the classical assumption test, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that the variables of product development and service quality do not have a significant influence on sales volume. This indicates that the company's product development efforts have not been fully able to increase market appeal or have not been in accordance with consumer needs. Similarly, the implemented improvements in service quality have not had a significant impact on increasing sales volume. In contrast, pricing has been shown to have a significant influence on sales volume. These findings indicate that consumers in PT Indoqurma Sejahtera's target market are highly price-sensitive, thus a competitive pricing strategy can be a key factor in driving sales. Based on these results, managerial implications include the need to reevaluate product development strategies and improve service quality to be more relevant to consumer needs and preferences.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a crucial pillar of economic development in Indonesia, playing a significant role in job creation, increasing community income, and driving regional economic growth. Mie Ayam Pak Bari is one such MSME located in Tireman Village, Rembang Regency, Central Java. This business is characterized by delicious flavors, affordable prices, and a unique location that lacks similar competitors in the surrounding area. Despite its significant potential, Mie Ayam Pak Bari faces several challenges, including limited marketing reach, limited exposure to local communities, and volatile raw material price fluctuations. To address these challenges, mentoring focused on strengthening business management strategies and increasing marketing effectiveness. The mentoring included creating a banner as the business's visual identity, developing an attractive and informative menu catalog, and establishing an Instagram account to expand online promotional reach. This strategy is expected to attract new customers, increase consumer loyalty, and build a positive image for the business in the eyes of the wider community. The mentoring results indicate an increase in the completeness of promotional tools, the formation of a clearer business identity, and an increase in communication channels with consumers through social media. The menu catalog helps customers understand product variety and pricing transparently, while banners serve as physical markers, making it easier for customers to find the business's location. Meanwhile, the Instagram account serves as an interactive platform that allows businesses to reach potential customers outside of Tireman Village. This mentoring activity demonstrates that implementing visual and digital media-based marketing strategies can be an effective solution for MSMEs to survive and thrive in an increasingly competitive market.

This study aims to determine the effect of promotion, price, and brand image on consumer purchasing decisions in the Cap Fajar Chips Home Industry. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population is consumers who have made purchases at the store, with a total of 150 respondents selected as a sample. The data collection method is carried out through distributing questionnaires, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to test the effect of each independent variable, both partially and simultaneously, on purchasing decisions. The results of the analysis show that the promotion variable (X1) does not have a partial significant effect on purchasing decisions, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.502 (> 0.05). This indicates that the intensity or form of promotion carried out is not enough to directly influence consumer purchasing decisions. In contrast to promotions, the price variable (X2) is proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. A significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) indicates that competitive and affordable pricing is an important factor that encourages consumers to choose Cap Fajar chips products. Similarly, the brand image variable (X3) has a partial significant influence on purchasing decisions, with a significance value of 0.013 (<0.05). This indicates that consumers' positive perceptions of brand reputation and quality can strengthen the desire to purchase. Simultaneously, the three variables—promotion, price, and brand image—have a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions. This finding is evidenced by a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that price and brand image are the dominant elements that determine purchasing decisions for Cap Fajar chips, while promotions require a more effective strategy to provide a real impact.

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, price, and product innovation on purchasing decisions for Viva lipstick, with brand image as a mediating variable, among female university students in Semarang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, using purposive sampling of 100 female students who use Viva lipstick. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results reveal that product quality has a positive and significant effect on both purchasing decisions and brand image. This indicates that consumers’ perceptions of Viva lipstick’s quality—such as color durability, texture smoothness, and comfort in use—play an important role in shaping a positive brand image and encouraging purchasing decisions. In contrast, price and product innovation were found to have no significant effect on either purchasing decisions or brand image, suggesting that the current pricing strategy and product innovation efforts have not yet become the main attraction for consumers. Brand image was found to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and to mediate the influence of product quality on purchasing decisions. This mediation is partial, meaning that product quality influences purchasing decisions not only directly but also indirectly through the enhancement of brand image. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance for Viva Cosmetics to continuously improve product quality, including formulation and packaging, while strengthening brand communication strategies to ensure consistent positive consumer perceptions. Furthermore, the company should reassess its pricing and product innovation strategies to remain competitive in the dynamic cosmetics market. By focusing on product quality and brand image, Viva is expected to increase consumer appeal and loyalty, particularly within the university student market segment.

The rapid growth of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in the culinary sector in Denpasar City has made a significant contribution to the regional economy and job creation. This sector has become one of the key drivers of local economic activity, attracting both residents and tourists. However, despite its potential, challenges persist. Fluctuations in the number of MSE actors and the suboptimal use of social media for marketing hinder sustainable income growth. Moreover, poor decisions regarding business location and inappropriate pricing strategies often become barriers to achieving business success. This study aims to analyze the simultaneous effects of business location, pricing, and social media usage on the income of culinary MSEs in Denpasar City. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, in which questionnaires were distributed to 99 culinary MSE actors. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to evaluate the influence of each variable both simultaneously and partially. The results reveal that business location, pricing, and social media usage together have a significant effect on MSE income. Partially, business location and pricing show a positive and significant influence, indicating that strategic location selection and competitive pricing play crucial roles in increasing income. In contrast, social media usage does not significantly affect income, suggesting that while digital platforms have potential as marketing tools, their benefits remain limited without effective content strategies and adequate digital literacy. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening fundamental business aspects, particularly location and pricing strategies, to improve MSE performance. Furthermore, policy support and targeted assistance programs focusing on enhancing digital literacy and managerial capacity among MSE actors are essential. By addressing these areas, the culinary sector in Denpasar City can achieve more sustainable growth and contribute even more effectively to the local economy.

This study explores the influence of live streaming mode on the purchase intention of tropical fruits among consumers in Henan, China, in the context of the rapid growth of e-commerce. Live streaming has emerged as a dynamic and interactive platform that enables real-time engagement between sellers and buyers, offering visual product demonstrations and instant feedback opportunities. The research focuses on three critical factors affecting purchase intention: perceived trust, perceived value, and perceived risk. A quantitative research design was employed, collecting data from 392 participants through structured questionnaires. The analysis indicates that interactive communication, transparent information sharing, and authentic presentations during live streaming significantly enhance perceived trust and perceived value. Higher perceived trust fosters a stronger sense of reliability toward sellers, while increased perceived value motivates consumers by highlighting product quality, freshness, and fair pricing. Furthermore, effective live streaming strategies can substantially reduce perceived risks related to product authenticity, quality uncertainty, and transaction security, creating a more favorable purchase environment. The results suggest that the integration of engaging storytelling, professional product showcasing, and active audience interaction serves as a catalyst for influencing consumer attitudes and behaviors toward purchasing tropical fruits. This study enriches the existing literature on live streaming commerce by highlighting its psychological and behavioral impacts on consumer decision-making. In practical terms, the findings offer actionable insights for marketers and fruit sellers, emphasizing the importance of building trust, delivering genuine product experiences, and minimizing risks to maximize purchase intentions. These strategies are particularly relevant for agricultural e-commerce in Henan, where live streaming can bridge the gap between rural producers and urban consumers. Overall, this research provides both theoretical contributions to the study of digital co sumer behavior and practical guidance for optimizing live streaming as a competitive marketing tool in the fresh produce industry.

This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility and marketing strategy of Etawa goat farming in Kaligesing District, which is recognized as one of the main centers for Etawa goat breeding in Indonesia. The case study was conducted at Setia Farm, a representative and active breeder in the region. The financial analysis employed several indicators, including Break-Even Point (BEP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Gross Benefit-Cost Ratio (Gross B/C). The findings show that the Gross B/C value reached 4.7, indicating a high return compared to investment cost. The NPV value was positive, and the IRR exceeded the prevailing loan interest rate, highlighting that the business generates significant profitability over time. Additionally, the BEP was achieved in a relatively short period, which signifies the business has strong potential for short-term capital recovery and low financial risk. From a marketing perspective, Setia Farm implements a combination of product excellence, adaptive pricing strategies, diverse distribution channels, and active promotional efforts. Their flagship products—mainly superior Etawa goats and processed dairy products—are positioned to meet market demand effectively. The farm also uses both direct marketing and digital platforms, such as social media and e-commerce, to expand its reach. Promotion is carried out through agricultural events, online campaigns, and collaboration with livestock communities. These strategies contribute to increasing brand awareness, building customer loyalty, and improving competitiveness. The integration of financial feasibility and strategic marketing supports the sustainability and growth of Etawa goat farming in Kaligesing. The results of this study can serve as a reference for livestock entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers in developing similar agribusiness models that are profitable, resilient, and market-oriented.

This study aims to examine in depth the influence of price, promotion, and switching barriers on customer loyalty of Telkomsel prepaid cards, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable in Generation Z in West Palu District. This study is motivated by the intense competition in the telecommunications industry and the importance of maintaining customer loyalty amidst the increasing number of service options. Data were collected from 100 respondents who are active Telkomsel prepaid card users through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results show that the price variable has a significant direct effect on customer loyalty, but does not show a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Conversely, promotion has a significant effect on satisfaction, but does not directly affect customer loyalty significantly. Switching barriers are shown to have a significant effect on both satisfaction and loyalty, indicating that the higher the switching barriers, the more likely customers will remain loyal. In addition, customer satisfaction also significantly affects loyalty. Another important finding is that of the several indirect influences tested, only the path from promotion through satisfaction to loyalty was statistically significant. Therefore, this study suggests the importance of targeted promotional strategies and strengthening switching barriers as effective measures in retaining young customers who are prone to switching services. Furthermore, this study emphasizes that customer loyalty is not solely determined by competitive pricing factors, but is more complex and influenced by customers' emotional and psychological experiences, such as satisfaction with the service and perceptions of the ease or difficulty of switching to another service provider.

This study explores the strategic use of garbarata as an advertising medium at Minangkabau International Airport, Padang. The garbarata, which is a connecting bridge between the terminal and the aircraft, has great potential as an exclusive advertising space and has high exposure to passengers. However, this potential has not been optimally maximized. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with airport management, direct observation of the garbarata conditions, and analysis of documentation related to advertising policies and non-aeronautical asset management. The results of the study indicate that there are several main obstacles in the use of garbarata as a promotional medium. These obstacles include minimal promotional activities to potential advertisers, unclear pricing systems for advertising space rentals, lack of collaboration with advertising agencies, and limitations in the provision of design services and visual creativity. This has led to low interest of companies in utilizing this media as part of their marketing strategy. To overcome these problems, this study proposes several development strategies, including: increasing active and planned promotional activities, setting flexible and competitive rental prices, strategic collaboration with professional advertising agencies, and providing creative design services to support the effectiveness of advertising messages. This strategy is expected to attract more companies to advertise on the aerobridge, thereby increasing the airport's non-aeronautical revenue. With proper optimization, the aerobridge will not only serve as a functional passenger facility but can also transform into a strategic asset supporting the airport's sustainable commercial development and creating added value for both the operator and its business partners.

This study aims to analyze the influence of business capital, product pricing, and the utilization of e-commerce on the income of micro culinary business actors in Denpasar City. The background of this research is based on the crucial role of micro enterprises in economic development, particularly in the culinary sector, which is one of the largest contributors to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Denpasar City. Despite the sector's significant growth, increasing competition and uneven adoption of technology remain key challenges in improving business income. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population includes micro culinary business actors spread across the four districts of Denpasar City. The sample was determined proportionally using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique, and respondents were selected using accidental sampling to ensure broad representation. Primary data were collected through direct observation and structured questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from relevant government institutions such as the Department of Cooperatives and MSMEs and the Central Statistics Agency. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression, supported by classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity), the F-test to determine the simultaneous influence of the variables, and the t-test to analyze the partial influence of each independent variable on income. The findings indicate that simultaneously, business capital, pricing, and e-commerce significantly influence the income of micro business actors. Partially, each of these variables also shows a positive and significant effect. Business capital provides the foundation for operational activities, pricing affects consumer demand and competitiveness, while e-commerce broadens market reach and improves efficiency. These results highlight the importance of strategic financial management, appropriate pricing strategies, and the adoption of digital platforms to support income growth and sustainability of micro culinary enterprises in Denpasar City.
