Body composition refers to the various components that make up a person's body weight, such as lean mass (muscle, water, bones, ligaments, and tendons) and fat mass. As we age, significant changes occur in body composition, including increased fat mass and decreased muscle and bone mass, which often leads to sarcopenic obesity. This condition, which is common in older adults, is associated with frailty, disability, metabolic syndrome, reduced survival rates in certain cancers, and osteopenia/osteoporosis. This activity uses the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method to measure the body composition of elderly participants at Hana Nursing Home, South Tangerang. A total of 40 participants underwent body composition examinations. The examination results showed that the average total body fat, visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, and skeletal muscle mass were 36.7% each; 8%; 27.6%; and 20.7%. We need to carry out routine body composition checks for early detection to provide timely management, ultimately improving long-term public health. Aging is associated with significant changes in body composition, specifically a decrease in lean body mass and an increase in fat mass. These changes contribute to the prevalence of obesity and sarcopenia in the elderly population, impacting quality of life, morbidity and mortality. A complex interaction between hormonal decline, chronic inflammation, nutritional deficiencies, and reduced physical activity underlies these changes. This activity uses the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology to screen for obesity and sarcopenia in the elderly at St. Mary's Church, Francis of Assisi. We use Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to measure body composition, which includes total body fat, visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, and muscle mass. Among 32 participants, the average total body fat, visceral fat, subcutaneous fat, and muscle mass were 36.5% each; 9.6%; 9.68%; and 21.5%. Body composition assessment using BIA is very important in managing the elderly's health. Preventive strategies, including tailored exercise programmes, nutritional counselling, and lifestyle modifications, are essential to maintain muscle mass and prevent excessive fat deposition, thereby improving quality of life and reducing morbidity and mortality. Tujuan penelitian ini unutk menjelaskan pengaruh struktur modal, keputusan investasi, kebijakan deviden terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel dengan sebab dan akibat. Untuk menganalisis data sekunder, teknik statistik digunakan. Laporan tahunan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2021 hingga 2023 merupakan sumber data sekunder yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Laporan tahunan ini memberikan informasi yang diperlukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara struktur modal, keputusan investasi, kebijakan dividen, nilai perusahaan, profitabilitas. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan alat analisis Smart-PLS 3.0, yang dirancang untuk memprediksi hubungan antar konstruk, mengkonfirmasi teori, dan menjelaskan ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara variabel laten yang tidak dapat diukur secara langsung (Antara et al., 2013). hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa Keputusan Investasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Struktur Modal perusahaan, menegaskan pentingnya alokasi dana yang tepat dalam mempengaruhi komposisi modal. Struktur Modal juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas, menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan utang dan ekuitas yang bijaksana dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan. Namun, tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara Keputusan Investasi atau Kebijakan Deviden dengan Profitabilitas, serta antara Struktur Modal, Keputusan Investasi, Kebijakan Deviden, atau Profitabilitas dengan Nilai Perusahaan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ekspektasi penerimaan, risiko usaha, dan perkiraan permintaan produk kascing dan kompos CV. X. Data yang diperoleh terdiri dari 96 sampel yang berasal dari data historis penjualan dan penerimaan selama 8 tahun periode usaha berjalan (2017-2024). Perhitungan tingkat ekspektasi penerimaan dan risiko dilakukan dengan pendekatan Expected Return dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran deviasi yang terjadi, sedangkan perkiraan penjualan pada masa yang akan datang dilakukan dengan menggunakan simulasi Monte Carlo. Produk kascing memiliki tingkat ekspektasi penerimaan yang lebih besar bila dibandingkan dengan produk kompos maupun portofolio 2 produk diversifikasi. Koefisien variasi pada produk kascing 0,17; kompos 0,24; dan portofolio 0,19; nilai koefisien variasi yang semakin kecil menggambarkan risiko yang dihadapi semakin rendah. Perkiraan volume permintaan yang diterima pada masa mendatang pada produk kascing berkisar 9,73- 21,34 ton/bulan dan kompos berkisar 7,81-53,21 ton/bulan.

A shipyard company in Surabaya, which is one of the major industries, generates a large amount of organic waste, including food waste, vegetables, fruits, leaves, and wood. Although this organic waste is a potential source of humus and essential nutrients for the soil, most of it has not been optimally managed. Composting is an effective method to process organic waste into compost, which can reduce the negative impact of toxic compounds and pathogens on the environment. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using two types of activators, namely PROMI and ecoenzymes, in accelerating the composting process and improving compost quality in accordance with SNI 19-7030-2004 standards. PROMI activator, which contains various microorganisms such as Trichoderma Harzianium, Pseudokoningii, and Aspergilus sp., and ecoenzymes, which is produced through fermentation of organic materials, were applied to shredded organic waste. The results showed that the use of both activators could accelerate the decomposition process of organic materials and produce high-quality compost within 21 days. With the final measurement results of both composts, both with PROMI and ecoenzymes treatment, the same pH and temperature values were obtained, namely pH 7 and temperature 30℃. Parameters such as pH, temperature, colour, smell, and texture of the compost are recorded periodically to ensure the composting process is going well. Thus, the use of PROMI and ecoenzymes activators not only increases composting efficiency but also provides a sustainable solution for organic waste management in the shipyard industry.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna leksikal sebagai makna dasar yang terkandung dalam poster dan makna gramatikal sebagai makna yang hadir sebagai akibat adanya proses gramatikal seperti proses afiksasi, proses reduplikasi, dan proses komposisi yang terdapat dalam poster di media massa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian kualitatif berfokus pada data yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk kata, kalimat, ungkapan narasi, dan gambar. Kajian penelitian berfokus pada pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan sesuatu hal secara sistematis. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu mengumpulkan beberapa poster yang termuat dalam media massa yang bertema pendidikan. Data yang ditemukan oleh peneliti sebanyak 6 poster yang akan dianalisis melalui kajian semantik leksikal dan gramatikal.

The shipbuilding industry produces organic and inorganic waste. The organic waste produced by the shipbuilding industry is dry leaves, dry grass, dry wood and other dry materials. Organic waste management is becoming increasingly important in this industry because the industry's very rapid growth has the potential to increase negative environmental impacts if not handled properly. Utilizing organic waste into fertilizer is an activity that can be carried out with the aim of reducing waste around the shipyard industrial environment. This organic fertilizer is made using a simple composting method so that it can be applied in this industry. The composting process involves 2 different treatments, namely the first is an activator solution in the form of a mixture of ecoenzymes, water and sugar solution and the second is using Effective Microorganism 4 (EM 4). The results of the research showed that these two treatments produced a pH that was not much different, namely 6.9 for EM4 and a pH of 7 for the ecoenzymes activator. The temperature of the compost produced in the ecoenzymes mixture treatment was 300C and in the EM4 treatment was 300C. This shows that the activity of decomposing microorganisms is running well.

Shipbuilding industrial companies still produce a number of organic waste in the form of twigs, grass and leaves. In line with developments in the current era, organic waste that accumulates will become an issue for the environment if it is not managed properly. This activity was carried out to overcome the problem of organic waste in the shipbuilding industry, by utilizing organic waste for composting. Composting is a simple anaerobic method that can be easily carried out in the shipbuilding industry. This method turns organic waste into compost by carrying out a fermentation process. Organic waste in the form of leaves that are turned into compost can increase the nutrient content in the soil. The composting process is carried out using two different activator materials, namely using Effective Microorganisms 4 (EM 4) and Promoting Microbes (PROMI). The results of the compost research carried out have met the quality standards according to SNI 19-7030-2004. The final results of these two treatments are not too different, the pH resulting from the EM4 activator treatment is 6.9 and the pH from the PROMI activator treatment is 7. The temperature value for both does not exceed the ground water temperature, namely the final temperature of the EM4 activator treatment is 29.9oC and from PROMI activator treatment of 30oC. The observation results show that of the two activators EM4 and PROMI, the one that is more effectively used for composting is the EM4 activator because the microorganism content in EM4 has more classifications compared to the PROMI activator.

The cereal products available in the market mostly focus only on practicality and ignore the nutritional content. It is necessary to increase the nutritional content of these products by using local Indonesian raw materials such as sweet potatoes and corn.  The objectives of this study are: 1) to determine the effect of temperature and proportion of purple sweet potato flour and corn flour on the characteristics of cereals produced, 2) to assess the level of preference of panelists for the physical, chemical and sensory qualities of cereals produced. The study design used a factorial randomized design complete with a proportion treatment of purple sweet potato flour and corn. Test parameters include water content, degree of swelling, water absorption, texture, antioxidants, and sensory evaluation. The conclusion in this study is that the comparative treatment of purple sweet potato flour and corn and temperature did not have a real effect on water content, degree of development, water absorption index (IPA), water solubility index (IKA), texture and antioxidants but had an effect on sensory properties

This research aims to determine the ability to organize compositions, process colors, adjust colors, and determine the level of suitability of shapes in the results of paintings using umbrella media at the Qalam Jihad Painting Studio Pematangsiantar. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, by researching a topic in a systematic, factual and accurate manner obtained from data collection in the field and carried out based on existing facts and characteristics. This research is to review the composition, color and shape of paintings using umbrella media by studio students aged 13-15 years. The composition aspect gets the lowest score and the color aspect gets the highest score. This can be seen from the good coloring and color combinations with dark and light on the objects and colors that are seen clearly and appropriately by the studio students. Based on this, it produces a higher color aspect than other aspects. The classification of the results of reviewing the composition, color and shape of paintings using umbrella media at the Qalam Jihad Pematangsiantar painting studio is that 7 students are categorized as good with a score of 241.4 to 266 and an average score of 80.5 to 88.6. 8 students were quite good with scores of 211.2 to 234.9 with an average score of 70.4 to 78.3.

One of the deep focus techniques in the film "Sang Prawira" by Ponti Gea is the deep focus technique. In the film "The Prawira" by Ponti Gea, there are several scenes where all the objects in the frame remain sharp and clear, whether they are close to the camera or far away. These scenes made researchers interested in examining the film "The Prawira" by Ponti gea. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The research results show that the deep focus camera focusing technique is quite rarely used. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the film "Sang Prawira" by Ponti Gea uses the deep focus technique when you want to focus the audience's view on an object..

Gender diversity and education level of management level is one from many issues that raised where companies are continually innovating and seeking the best ways to generate higher profit through years. Therefore this research aims to find evidence of whether there is an influence of gender diversity and education level on the increase of company’s profitability, which is studied through descriptive analysis by reviewing the literature from 15 studies obtained from google scholar and emerald insight. The result was found that the gender composition and the level of education do not have a direct impact on a company's profitability but rather depend on how the company can maximize them to get more benefits from the existency of woman on the companyy’s management level job.     Keywords:  Gender Diversity, Education level, and Profitability

Minyak atsiri bunga cengkeh mengandung eugenol yang memiliki efektivitas farmakologi sebagai anti nyeri dan anti radang. Sediaan topikal yang digunakan untuk mengatasi nyeri dan radang pada kulit adalah gel. Gelling agent yang sering digunakan untuk membuat sediaan gel adalah CMC-Na dan karbopol. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan komposisi CMC-Na dan karbopol terhadap karakteristik sediaan fisik gel minyak atsiri cengkeh. Sediaan gel minyak atsiri dibuat dengan 5 formula yang terdiri dari 0,2% minyak atsiri cengkeh, 0,18 % metil paraben, 0,2 % propil paraben, 15 % propilenglikol, dan 82,42 % akuades, dengan variasi komposisi CMC-Na dan karbopol. Parameter karakteristik sediaan fisik gel yang diuji adalah uji organoleptis, pH, homogenitas, viskositas, daya lekat, dan daya sebar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aroma, pH, dan homogenitas dari kelima formula tersebut adalah sama yaitu aroma cengkeh, pH 6, dan homogen. Perbedaannya ditunjukkan oleh parameter viskositas, daya lekat, daya sebar, dan bentuk yaitu semakin besar konsentrasi karbopol maka semakin besar viskositas, daya lekat, dan tekstur kekentalan dari gel-nya, tetapi sebaliknya daya sebar semakin menurun. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah basis karbopol memberikan tekstur gel yang lebih kental dan berwarna bening daripada CMC-Na tetapi memiliki daya sebar kurang.

The waste piles in the landfill pose a higher environmental hazard compared to the waste at its source due to the potential formation of leachate and air emissions. Consequently, waste management from the source is essential to minimize the amount of waste in the landfill. The waste management methods at each location typically vary based on the composition, characteristics, and quantity of waste present in that specific area. In this study, an analysis of waste piles at facility X was conducted through the process of sorting and weighing the waste during October 2023, with the objective of providing research findings that can be utilized to determine suitable waste management options for the location. The research revealed that the dominating composition of the waste consists of organic waste, with garden waste accounting for 55.95% and food residue comprising 10.75%. Composting was selected as the recommended alternative for waste treatment in the area. Garden waste, primarily composed of dry leaves, is suggested to be treated using the pile composting method, while food residue is suggested to be treated through a combination of Black Soldier Fly larvae biotechnology and Takakura composting.

Rocks are naturally formed solid objects which are a collection of minerals, both similar and dissimilar, in certain proportions. Minerals are the building blocks of each type of rock. In the beginning, rocks came from magma. The types of rock that exist include pyroclastic rocks. Pyroclastic rocks contain contents that are of economic value and useful for human life. The type of method used is a qualitative research method. The data collection technique in this method is the literature study method. The method in this research focuses on in-depth observations from various reading sources such as books and scientific journals. Pyroclastic rocks are rocks formed by the lithification process of loose materials thrown from volcanic centers in explosive eruptions, which are then transported through the media of gas, wind and then deposited on dry land or in bodies of water. In fact, pyroclastics are almost the same as sedimentary rocks, but the difference is that sedimentary rocks come from the weathering of previous rocks. Meanwhile, pyroclastic rocks come from volcanic eruptions, meaning there is no weathering process.

The waste problem not only threatens environmental conditions, but also has serious social and economic impacts in many regions in Indonesia, including the city of Surabaya. This dedication is carried out with the aim of reducing volume and realizing a zero waste paradigm in dealing with global waste problems. The Surabaya City Zero Waste Village Program was realized through outreach to provide awareness for residents to reduce the use of organic and inorganic waste. Apart from that, socialization was also carried out regarding organic waste processing which aims to convert organic waste into compost using Compost Bags, increasing public knowledge about organic waste management and reducing waste from rubbish dumps. This activity includes preparing activity planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation, as well as direct training regarding making compost fertilizer and using Compost Bags. Evaluation is carried out to ensure the success of activities and identify obstacles faced in the process of making compost fertilizer. The Zero Waste Village Program in RW 06 Menur Pumpungan Surabaya in increasing community understanding about managing organic waste into compost using Compost Bags has been successfully implemented with the support of the residents.

PT Anugrah Alam Manunggal merupakan tempat Bank Sampah (training center) atau tempat pemilahan dan pengumpulan sampah yang dapat di daur ulang yang memiliki nilai ekonomis. Didalamnya terdapat unit untuk training center yaitu unit organik, anorganik dan recidu. PT Anugrah Alam Manunggal meyakini bahwa sampah bukan lagi sekedar barang sisa yang tidak berguna, melainkan sebagai sumber daya yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi dan dapat dimanfaatkan, misalnya, untuk energi, kompos, pupuk ataupun untuk bahan baku industri. Penelitian ini melakukan perancngan aplikasi agar pengguna dapat mengetahui lokasi pembuangan sampah daur ulang yang valid. Metode yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode sistem informasi, dimana didalamnya terdapat informasi mengenai lokasi menggunakan (SIG). Terdapat 9 bank sampah yang telah menjadi mitra PT AAM. informasi terkait pemetaan mitra GSTC menggunakan aplikasi Google maps dan software Blokspot.com. Untuk aplikasi Google Maps digunakan untuk menentukan lokasi dari mitra – mitra yang bekerja sama dengan GSTC sedangkan software Blokspot.com digunakan sebagai sarana informasi untuk bisa mengenal lebih jauh tentang pengolahan sampah

Problem-solving is so important that it makes mathematics teaching a common goal. It is estimated that students who are capable of solving these problems can contribute to the economic growth of their country. Therefore, researchers are interested in analyzing students' ability to solve mathematical problems. Data is taken using the essay test instrument and analyzed using a descriptive quantitative approach. The subject of this study is a student of class XI SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh of 29 people. This research found that students' abilities in composition functions material were well assessed. However, in the problem-solving capabilities measured based on problem-solving indicators, there is still an obstacle to the first indicator, which is to display what is known and what is asked. But for the other three indicators, there are only a few obstacles even no obstacles at all. It is hoped that the obstacles experienced by students in this research can also be the background for further research.

Tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk menguraikan proses pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia, menganalisis perbedaan antara keduanya, dan menjelaskan implikasi dari perbedaan tersebut. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber tertulis, baik yang terpublikasi dalam artikel, makalah, buku, maupun tulisan lain yang terkait dengan pembentukan kata kerja dalam bahasa Arab dan bahasa Indonesia, serta pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Metode pengumpulan data yang diterapkan mengacu pada pencatatan teknis. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis melalui pendekatan analisis kontrastif. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Arab terjadi melalui modifikasi internal dan afiksasi, sementara dalam bahasa Indonesia, proses tersebut melibatkan afiksasi, reduplikasi, dan komposisi. Perbedaan yang paling mencolok antara keduanya adalah bahwa pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Arab selalu terkait dengan elemen waktu, kuantitas, dan jenis kelamin. Sementara itu, pembentukan verba dalam bahasa Indonesia tidak memiliki keterkaitan dengan waktu dan jenis kelamin, sehingga konsep semantik terkait waktu, kuantitas, dan jenis kelamin diwakili secara leksikal oleh kata kerja yang menyertainya.

Garbage is a residual material produced by a household. Waste can become a problem if it is not managed properly. MaQis Al-Hamidy 4 Islamic Boarding School is a boarding school that is well known among Madurese people. This Islamic boarding school has an environment where lots of trees grow, resulting in quite a lot of dry leaf waste. This of course provides both disadvantages and advantages for the residents of Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training for residents of Islamic boarding schools in the form of making compost from dry leaf waste so that it can provide benefits for residents of Islamic boarding schools and for the environment. The purpose of this training is to provide education about environmental management, especially in the utilization of organic waste which can be used as material for making compost. The method in implementing this training uses descriptive analysis as well as direct waste management practices. The result and impact of this training is that students gain useful skills in organic waste management and become agents of change in protecting the environment.
