This study was motivated by the importance of the availability and quality of infrastructure as a major supporting factor for the comfort and smooth running of the lecture process at the postgraduate level. The purpose of this study was to evaluate educational facilities and infrastructure based on the perceptions of postgraduate students in the Islamic Education Study Program (PAI) using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. This research is an evaluative study with a qualitative approach, involving PAI graduate students as research subjects. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and field observations, then analyzed using the Question Discourse technique to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the students' experiences and assessments. The results show that students view facilities and infrastructure as important to very important in supporting the lecture process. In general, the facilities are considered adequate, but there are still limitations in the air conditioning system and internet network stability, which affect the comfort and effectiveness of learning. The implications of this study emphasize the need for continuous improvement in the quality, maintenance, and management of facilities and infrastructure to support the quality of PAI postgraduate education.

Software Defined Network is a popular computer network concept today because of the ease of managing network traffic with the control plane. Massive internet usage makes web server services on SDN networks overloaded. There are many load balancing concepts to overcome this problem, one of which is implementing the K-NN algorithm. This study aims to maximize the performance of the K-NN algorithm on SDN networks by optimizing the K value using Grid Search Cross Validation, and adding server status selection logic based on the smallest disk if the server status calculated by K-NN has the same. All implementations of the load balancing concept in this study were created virtually using Open vSwitch and virtualbox. Testing was carried out using CPU, MEMORY, and DISK parameters sent by the server with the help of the psutils component. JMeter software was used for testing by sending data using the POST method. The data type is text/plain with a data size of 1MB, testing was carried out in stages with threads 100, 200, 300, 400. The test results showed that the performance of the K-NN algorithm was running optimally. There was no significant difference in the distribution of the load to the server, this made the optimization and addition of logic successful.

Konflik manusia–gajah merupakan permasalahan serius di kawasan Taman Nasional Way Kambas, Lampung, yang berdampak pada kerugian ekonomi, gangguan sosial, dan ancaman keselamatan manusia serta satwa liar [1], [2]. Salah satu pendekatan mitigasi yang efektif adalah penerapan sistem peringatan dini berbasis teknologi telekomunikasi dan Internet of Things (IoT) [3], [4]. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan dan kinerja jaringan telekomunikasi yang sesuai untuk mendukung sistem peringatan dini konflik manusia–gajah. Metode meliputi analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan arsitektur jaringan, perbandingan teknologi komunikasi (GSM/4G, NB-IoT, dan LoRaWAN), serta simulasi skenario pengiriman data dari node sensor. Data empiris diperoleh dari simulasi performa jaringan (jangkauan, delay, konsumsi daya, dan packet delivery ratio). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa LoRaWAN memiliki keunggulan dalam jangkauan dan efisiensi energi untuk wilayah konservasi yang minim infrastruktur [5], [6]. Sistem yang diusulkan mampu mengirimkan data deteksi keberadaan gajah secara near real-time ke pusat pemantauan dan selanjutnya didistribusikan sebagai peringatan kepada petugas dan masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan sistem peringatan dini konflik manusia–gajah berbasis telekomunikasi di Indonesia.

The rapid expansion of internet usage has led to a significant increase in cybersecurity threats, particularly phishing attacks delivered through malicious links. Phishing links are designed to imitate legitimate websites in order to deceive users and steal sensitive information. This study presents the implementation of a phishing link detection website based on SSL validation and URL scoring mechanisms. The proposed system integrates heuristic-based URL analysis with real-time SSL certificate validation obtained through the SSL handshake process. Digital certificates are verified using RSA-based digital signature verification issued by trusted Certificate Authorities (CAs). In addition, the SHA-256 hash algorithm is employed to generate certificate fingerprints and URL hashes to ensure data integrity and uniqueness. The system also evaluates HTTPS usage, domain and certificate consistency, certificate validity period, and RSA public key strength. All validation results are processed using a URL scoring system to generate a security score ranging from 0 to 100, which classifies links into safe, suspicious, or dangerous categories. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed website is capable of effectively identifying phishing indicators and providing transparent cryptographic evidence in real time. This approach can assist users in making informed decisions and improving protection against phishing threats in web environments.

Online gambling has emerged as a growing public health and social concern, particularly in developing countries with rapid digitalization such as Indonesia. Increased internet accessibility, mobile device usage, and financial technology services have facilitated the widespread adoption of online gambling across diverse age groups, including adolescents. This study aims to investigate the phenomenon of online gambling and identify key determinants contributing to addictive gambling behavior. The method used is a narrative literature review, synthesizing findings from national and international studies related to online gambling, behavioral addiction, psychological mechanisms, and socio-environmental factors. The findings indicate that online gambling addiction is influenced by multiple interrelated determinants, including economic pressure, cognitive distortions such as illusion of control, low legal awareness, environmental exposure, and technological features embedded in gambling platforms. Neurobiologically, repetitive gambling behavior is reinforced by dysregulation of the brain’s reward system, particularly dopamine pathways, which strengthens compulsive engagement despite adverse consequences. Psychosocial impacts include increased risk of anxiety, depression, financial instability, social isolation, and criminal behavior. The study also highlights that adolescents are particularly vulnerable due to developmental factors and peer influence. The implications of these findings emphasize the need for comprehensive prevention strategies involving stricter legal enforcement, public education, mental health interventions, family support, and technological regulation. A multidisciplinary and public health–oriented approach is essential to reduce the prevalence of online gambling addiction and mitigate its long-term psychological, social, and economic consequences.

Improving the competence and technological literacy of students and lecturers in the fields of embedded systems and IoT, particularly for smart control applications, is expected to strengthen academic capabilities and practical skills. Through this development, higher education institutions can encourage innovation and the application of technology-based solutions in solving real-world problems. Furthermore, this effort supports the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the areas of education and research, by promoting applied research projects and collaborative learning activities based on embedded systems and IoT technologies.

This study aims to describe the implementation of the curriculum in mathematics learning at Al Ihsan Yapis Kotaraja Elementary School in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. The focus of the study includes learning planning, learning implementation, the use of media and learning resources, the role of teachers and schools, and learning evaluation. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results show that the implementation of the curriculum in mathematics learning has been quite effective. Teachers apply student-centered learning through differentiated learning and various learning strategies, such as lectures, discussions, and deep learning approaches. The most widely used media and learning resources are printed books and the internet. Teachers and schools play an important role in creating active learning and supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. However, learning evaluation is still dominated by written tests, so it does not fully reflect authentic assessment in accordance with learning objectives. Therefore, improvements are needed in the application of authentic assessment and the integration of learning objectives, learning strategies, and assessment techniques so that curriculum implementation can run more optimally.

The development of deepfake technology, which utilises artificial intelligence to manipulate images, videos and sounds, has led to a serious threat of sextortion. In the Indonesian context, high internet penetration and low awareness of digital security increase the risk of this crime. This research analyses the legal consequences of the misuse of deepfake technology in sextortion based on the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (UU ITE). Using normative juridical methods and descriptive-qualitative analysis, this research examines the legal challenges faced in enforcing sanctions against this crime and provides recommendations to strengthen the legal framework in Indonesia. The results show that there are gaps in the legal framework that need to be addressed, as well as the importance of education and capacity building of law enforcement in dealing with cybercrime. In addition, the development of more sophisticated deepfake detection technology is expected to be a solution in tackling this abuse in the future.

This study aims to describe the implementation of innovative learning strategies through the Game-Based Learning (GBL) model to enhance the active participation of tenth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at MA Hasyimiyah. The research is motivated by the prevalence of conventional teacher-centered learning, which results in low student engagement and enthusiasm. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, the research subjects included tenth-grade students at MA Hasyimiyah and Field Experience Practice (PPL) students as key informants who conducted the lessons directly. Data collection techniques included classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with PPL students, and documentation gathered during a one-month PPL period. The results indicate that the application of the GBL model utilizing digital media such as Quizizz, Wordwall, Zep Quiz, and Spinner, as well as manual media like question-and-answer cards, significantly increased learning motivation, classroom interaction, and active participation. This improvement was evidenced by students' increased confidence in expressing opinions and intensive involvement in group discussions. Although challenges such as limited infrastructure, unstable internet connections, and restricted student device access were identified, these obstacles were effectively overcome through adaptive strategies by PPL students, who modified digital games into manual formats. This study confirms that innovative and adaptive learning strategies play a crucial role in enhancing student participation levels, particularly within the context of schools with limited facilities.

This research is motivated by the problem of uneven bandwidth distribution in hotspot internet services at Oey Alycia Resto & Cafe, which negatively affects connection quality for users. The purpose of this study is to design and implement a bandwidth limitation-based hotspot internet system by applying a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) using Mikrotik devices, in order to achieve fair and efficient internet access distribution. The research method includes network requirement analysis, network topology design, Mikrotik RouterOS configuration, and system performance testing through direct observation and user questionnaires. The system implementation involves hotspot user authentication, per-user bandwidth allocation, and automatic speed reduction when data usage exceeds the predefined FUP threshold. The results show that the implemented system effectively limits excessive bandwidth usage by individual users, improves network stability, and ensures equitable internet access for all hotspot users. Furthermore, questionnaire results indicate positive user responses regarding improved internet service quality after the application of FUP. This research implies that the proposed system enhances the effectiveness of hotspot bandwidth management and can serve as a practical solution for public network administrators in optimizing bandwidth usage in a fair and controlled manner.

The development of information technology requires innovative learning media to improve the quality of instruction in elementary schools. One technology-based learning medium that can be utilized is Kahoot as an interactive quiz. This study aims to describe the implementation of Kahoot in science learning on the topic of plant structure and functions and its effects on students’ conceptual understanding, learning activeness, and motivation in fourth-grade elementary school students. This research employed a descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of Kahoot creates a more interactive and engaging learning environment, increases students’ active participation, and enhances their understanding of plant structure and function concepts. In addition, Kahoot is effective as an evaluation tool because it provides immediate feedback and presents learning outcomes quickly and systematically. However, the use of Kahoot also has limitations, particularly its dependence on the availability of digital devices and stable internet access. Therefore, Kahoot can be used as an innovative alternative learning medium, provided that school conditions are considered and it is combined with other learning methods to optimize science learning.

Rapid advances in digital technology bring various benefits and risks, including the threat of cybercrime, which can particularly affect Generation Alpha. The purpose of this seminar was to raise awareness and understanding among students at SMK Bina Patriot of the importance of protecting personal data on digital platforms. The seminar was attended by 62 participants who are active internet users in their daily lives. The seminar was conducted interactively through lectures, case studies, and training on steps to protect personal data, such as creating secure passwords and managing privacy on social media. The evaluation of the results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, reaching an average of 97%. It is hoped that this will become a strong foundation of digital literacy for the younger generation in facing the challenges of the cyber world wisely and safely. This increased understanding is expected to be a strong foundation for Bina Patriot Vocational School students to develop their digital literacy, which in turn will help them to be able to face the challenges of the digital world wisely, safely, and responsibly.

The lompong flower is an ornamental plant that requires stable soil moisture conditions and a stable environment so that it can grow optimally. Moisture level mismatches often hinder growth and even have the potential to cause plant damage. This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based humidity monitoring system that is able to monitor the humidity condition of the pond flower in real-time. The system developed uses soil moisture sensors as input devices, microcontrollers as data processors, and internet networks as a medium for sending data to the monitoring platform. The data obtained is displayed directly so that users can know the actual humidity conditions and take appropriate maintenance actions. The results show that the system is able to display moisture data with a good level of accuracy, as well as provide relevant information for users in plant care decision-making. The implementation of this system has proven to be effective in supporting the maintenance of lompong flowers, especially in maintaining soil moisture stability. This research is expected to be a reference for the development of IoT-based ornamental plant monitoring technology, as well as contribute to improving the quality of plant care in a more efficient and measurable manner.

The rapid development of information technology has transformed the way financial institutions deliver services, including credit unions. To improve service quality and accessibility for its members, KSP Credit Union Bahtera Sejahtera introduced a digital platform through the ESCETE application, which enables members to conduct loan and payment transactions online. This study aims to analyze the needs and members’ interest in using the online loan and payment platform provided by the ESCETE application at KSP Credit Union Bahtera Sejahtera, Kewapante Service Office. The findings reveal that the ESCETE application significantly facilitates members in conducting financial transactions without visiting the service office. The platform also improves employees’ work efficiency and accelerates service delivery. Members demonstrate a relatively high level of interest in using the application due to its accessibility and time efficiency. However, several challenges remain, including limited digital literacy among some members and unstable internet connectivity. This study concludes that the ESCETE application plays an important role in supporting digital financial services in credit unions. Therefore, continuous socialization and user assistance are necessary to maximize the utilization of the application

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong guru untuk beradaptasi dengan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif, termasuk pada pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD). Salah satu aplikasi yang banyak dimanfaatkan adalah Canva sebagai media pembelajaran dan laporan penilaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva oleh guru PAUD Sekolah Alam Jabalussalam berdasarkan pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga guru PAUD yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik dengan mengacu pada komponen TAM, yaitu Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Behavioral Intention to Use, Actual Use. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Canva dipersepsikan mudah digunakan dan memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas, efisiensi waktu, serta kualitas media pembelajaran dan penilaian. Persepsi positif tersebut mendorong sikap yang baik serta minat guru untuk menggunakan Canva secara berkelanjutan. Kendala utama yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan jaringan internet, namun tidak memengaruhi secara signifikan penerimaan terhadap aplikasi Canva. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Canva diterima dengan baik dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran digital pada pendidikan anak usia dini.

The giveaway phenomenon in the digital era has become a popular strategy to increase interaction on social media. However, this popularity is also used by irresponsible individuals to commit fraud under the guise of giveaways. This article aims to identify the modus operandi of giveaway fraud, provide guidance on recognizing the characteristics of fraud, and present preventive measures to avoid it. The methods used include literature review of digital fraud cases, analysis of cybercrime patterns, and interviews with digital literacy experts. The results show that the fraud mode often uses fake accounts that resemble official organizers, asks for personal information or payment of certain fees, and offers rewards that are too fantastic to lure victims. Low digital literacy is one of the main factors in the high number of victims of this fraud. By raising public awareness through education about the characteristics of fraud and methods of verifying information sources, the potential for victims can be minimized. In conclusion, systematic prevention efforts and active participation of the community in disseminating related information are important to protect internet users from the threat of giveaway fraud. This article recommends improving digital literacy programs and strengthening regulations against cybercrime as a long-term step.

The use of the social media platform TikTok as a learning medium in Social Studies (IPS) has emerged as an innovative strategy to enhance students’ learning creativity and engagement in the digital era and within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of TikTok in supporting creative learning processes, particularly in helping students understand Social Studies content in a visual, interactive, and easily accessible manner. The research was conducted through an online training seminar involving teachers and students, which included material delivery, demonstrations of TikTok usage, hands-on practice in creating learning content, and trial implementation in classroom learning activities. The analysis focused on three main aspects: (1) the improvement of teachers’ competencies in designing creative TikTok-based learning media, (2) students’ responses and learning experiences when using the platform, and (3) the effectiveness of the media in enhancing students’ understanding of Social Studies concepts. The results indicate that the use of TikTok improves the quality of learning media created by teachers and facilitates students’ independent learning. Pre-test and post-test data show an increase in students’ conceptual understanding, while student responses reveal a high level of learning interest through visual and interactive media. Nevertheless, several challenges related to device availability and internet connectivity were identified among some participants. In conclusion, TikTok is effective as an independent learning medium for Social Studies and contributes positively to improving students’ understanding and learning motivation. The study recommends continuous mentoring for teachers, strengthening ICT infrastructure, and further development of diverse learning media to support learning needs within the Merdeka Curriculum.

Design and Development of Fire Monitoring System Based on Internet of Things Using Flame Sensor and Smoke Sensor (Case Study at Balai Desa Dlimas). Fire is a disaster that can cause significant losses in both material and human life. Early fire detection is crucial to minimize the potential impact. Balai Desa Dlimas, located in Banyuputih District, Batang Regency, currently lacks an adequate fire detection and monitoring system. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement a fire monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using an ESP32 microcontroller, a flame sensor, an MQ-2 smoke sensor, and a DHT22 temperature sensor. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a prototyping model. The system is designed to detect the presence of fire, smoke, and room temperature in real time. Data from the sensors is processed by the ESP32 and sent to the Blynk application to notify users. Warning outputs are also provided through a buzzer and LED lights as on-site alerts. The test results show that the system can detect fire, smoke, and temperature increases with high accuracy.
