Employee performance is a key factor in the operational success of a business, including at Kalenan Cafe & Resto Sawahan Nganjuk, which is growing in the culinary sector. The low performance of some employees is suspected to be influenced by suboptimal leadership styles and a compensation system that is not transparent and fair. This study aims to examine the effect of leadership style on employee performance; the effect of compensation on employee performance; and the simultaneous effect of leadership style and compensation on employee performance. The study employed a quantitative survey approach with 65 employees selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation related to performance, leadership, and compensation, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while compensation has a negative yet significant effect. Simultaneously, leadership style and compensation significantly influence performance. Therefore, implementing a participative leadership style that supports two-way communication and a fair compensation system is essential to enhance employee motivation and performance, as well as to create a productive, harmonious work environment that supports business growth.

Christian Religious Education (PAK) plays a strategic role in instilling foundational faith and moral values in children from an early age. Through the VAK learning style ( Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic). In the context of modern education, PAK functions not only as a medium for delivering biblical teachings but also as a framework for character formation that aligns with children’s developmental needs. This study aims to analyze the role of PAK as a means of shaping faith and moral values, as well as to describe how PAK learning practices strengthen children’s spiritual growth through modeling, habituation, and learning interactions relevant to their daily lives. This qualitative research employs a descriptive approach, with data collected through literature studies, limited observations, and reflections on field experiences. The findings indicate that contextually designed PAK learning significantly influences children’s ways of thinking, behaving, and acting. The integration of school, family, and church further reinforces the impact of PAK as a spiritual foundation and moral guide in everyday life. This study emphasizes that PAK is not merely the transmission of religious content but a process of value internalization that directs children toward a life of faith, strong character, and responsibility.

This study investigates the influence of TikTok usage on the changes in interpersonal communication styles among university students in Indonesia. The rapid development of digital communication platforms, especially TikTok, has reshaped the way young people interact, express themselves, identify changes in their interpersonal communication styles, and analyze the effect of TikTok usage on those changes. Using a quantitative survey method with 100 active university students as respondents, data were collected through an online questionnaire. The results indicate that students’ TikTok usage is categorized as high, particularly in terms of frequency, duration, and engagement intensity. Findings also show a significant shift in communication styles, especially in language choice, expressive patterns, and interaction modes. Simple linear regression analysis confirms that TikTok usage has a strong and significant influence on changes in interpersonal communication styles (p < 0,001; R² = 0,944). These results demonstrate that TikTok not only serves as an entertainment platform but also plays a substantial role in shaping students’ communication behavior. The study highlights important implications for understanding digital communication trends among young adults in Indonesia.

The Karanganyar Regency Government functions as an autonomous region comprising various work units, including offices, agencies, and departments. This study aims to examine the influence of budget participation and work motivation on managerial performance, and to analyze the moderating role of leadership style within this relationship in the Regional Government Work Units (SKPD) of Karanganyar Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing primary data as its main source. The study population consisted of all 8,019 employees across the SKPD in Karanganyar Regency. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 100 employee respondents. The findings indicate that Budget Participation has a positive but not statistically significant effect on managerial performance. Conversely, the Work Motivation variable demonstrates a positive and statistically significant influence on the managerial performance of SKPD in Karanganyar Regency. Furthermore, Leadership Style was found to moderate the effects of both Budget Participation and Work Motivation on Managerial Performance. This suggests that an improved leadership style can enhance the effectiveness of budget participation and work motivation in boosting managerial performance within the SKPD of Karanganyar Regency

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy and lifestyle on the consumptive behavior of 2021 cohort students in the Economics Education Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Gorontalo. This research is motivated by the increasing tendency of consumptive behavior among students, which is influenced by easy access to information and modern lifestyles. The type of research used is quantitative research with primary data sources obtained through questionnaires distributed to 35 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the help of statistical software. The results show that the variables of economic literacy and lifestyle simultaneously have a significant effect on students' consumptive behavior. The contribution of these two variables is 0.406 or 40.6%, while the remaining 59.4% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.These findings are expected to serve as a consideration for students to be wiser in managing their finances and forming a rational lifestyle, as well as to increase awareness of the importance of personal financial planning for a more stable and sustainable future well-being in today's modern social and economic environment.

This study examines participatory leadership styles and their influence on organizational innovation in state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia. Participative leadership involves subordinates actively in the decision-making process, which contributes to increased motivation, productivity, and individual performance within the organization. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores the concepts and practices of leadership and innovation applied in SOEs. The results show that participatory leadership not only increases employee engagement but also creates a collaborative and innovative work environment. By involving different generations in decision-making, leaders can leverage the experience of senior generations and fresh ideas from younger generations, thereby encouraging more creative and relevant innovation. The implications of this research indicate that the application of a participatory leadership style is very important for SOEs to strengthen their competitiveness, adapt to market changes, and make a significant contribution to national development. This research provides valuable insights for leadership development and innovation strategies in the SOE sector in Indonesia.

\ This study aims to analyze the influence of bureaucratic leadership style on employee performance with teamwork as an intervening variable at the Forestry Service of Jambi Province. Human resources are the main determinant of organizational success, particularly in public bureaucracies that demand effectiveness, discipline, and strong responsibility. Bureaucratic leadership, which emphasizes formal structure, rule compliance, and systematic work procedures, is believed to enhance efficiency but may also limit employee creativity and flexibility. In this context, teamwork becomes a crucial factor that strengthens the relationship between leadership and performance through enhanced collaboration, communication, and synergy among employees. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The population consists of 56 employees of the Forestry Service of Jambi Province selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The findings indicate that bureaucratic leadership style has a positive and significant effect on both employee performance and teamwork. Furthermore, teamwork also has a positive and significant effect on performance and mediates the relationship between bureaucratic leadership and performance. The R-square results show that most of the variation in performance can be explained by bureaucratic leadership and teamwork. These findings highlight that the effectiveness of bureaucratic leadership is optimized when supported by strong teamwork. This study provides practical implications for public institutions to develop adaptive leadership strategies and foster a collaborative work culture to enhance employee productivity and organizational performance.

Leadership and quality management issues in education are important concerns in efforts to improve the quality of educational services and outcomes. Various studies have shown that the quality of principal leadership significantly influences the performance of educational organizations, but a comprehensive synthesis of leadership models and their implementation in quality management is still limited. This article aims to review the literature related to the role of leadership in implementing quality management strategies. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained from Google Scholar and the Publish or Perish application with the keyword "Quality Leadership," covering the publication period 2020–2025. Of the 20 identified articles, a screening and selection process was carried out, resulting in 5 articles for in-depth analysis. The results of the thematic review indicate three main trends: (1) the integration of leadership and quality management strategies impacts educational performance and standards, (2) transformational, visionary, and leadership styles contribute differently to quality improvement, and (3) the urgency of effective leadership is seen in the ability to build a quality culture and face global challenges. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the central role of leadership in educational quality. Further research is recommended to explore the influence of digital and collaborative leadership in the context of 21st-century education.

This study aims to describe students’ mathematical critical thinking skills in terms of their learning styles based on the VARK model (Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic). The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving four seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Gresik, each representing one type of learning style. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire, a mathematical critical thinking test based on Facione’s indicators, and in-depth interviews to strengthen the analysis. The results revealed that each learning style demonstrates distinct characteristics of critical thinking. Visual learners excelled in interpretation and self-regulation, auditory learners performed well in evaluation and verbal explanation, reading/writing learners showed strength in analysis and written reasoning, while kinesthetic learners were better in concrete activities but weaker in evaluation and inference. Overall, interpretation and analysis indicators were more dominant than evaluation and inference. These findings highlight the importance of implementing differentiated instruction aligned with students’ learning styles to foster optimal and comprehensive development of mathematical critical thinking skills.

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and motivation on the productivity of members of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Satria Muda Indonesia at the National University of the Republic of Indonesia. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents consisting of active members and administrators. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software and supported by classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation tests. The results indicate that leadership style and motivation have a positive and significant effect on member productivity, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.745 shows that 74.5% of productivity variation is explained by these variables, while the remaining 25.5% is influenced by other factors outside the model. Therefore, it can be concluded that effective leadership and strong motivation are key determinants in improving the productivity of student organizations.

This study is motivated by the importance of balancing work and personal life (work life balance) to enhance employee performance and well-being. The research aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, workload, and work environment on the work life balance of employees at PT Bina Bangun Perkasa Kediri. A quantitative approach was applied using purposive sampling, with all 35 permanent employees selected as respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, and analyzed using classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that leadership style and work environment significantly affect work life balance, while workload has no significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables show a significant effect on work life balance. These results provide theoretical implications regarding the crucial role of leadership and workplace conditions in supporting employees’ work life balance, as well as practical implications for company management to foster a healthy work environment and effective leadership to improve employee well-being

PT. Sompo Insurance is one of the many insurance companies in Indonesia, and has many branches located in many countries. At PT. Sompo Insurance Indonesia writers will examine the relationship between the influence of leadership style and communication that will affect the performance of the team.. The sample in the study was 38 respondents using saturated sampling techniques, all populations in this study were used as research samples. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire method with a Likert scale. Based on the results of this study, the Leadership Style variable (X1) has a positive and significant influence on Team Performance (Y) obtained from the calculation of the calculation of the ttable > (4.217 > 1.690) with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The Communication Variable (X2) has a positive and significant influence on Team Performance (Y). This is shown from the results of the calculation of the tcount > ttable (5.176 > 1.690 ) with a significant level of 0.001<0.05. Simultaneously, the variables of Work Environment (X1) and the variables of Employee Performance (X2) have a positive and significant influence on Team Performance (Y). This was obtained from the results of the calculation of Fcount of 171.585 with a significant level of 0.001 < 0.05 and Fcal > Ftabel (171.585 > 3.27). The results of the determination coefficient (R2) analysis obtained R Square of 0.907 or 90.7% were influenced by the Leadership Style variable (X1) and the Communication variable (X2) while the remaining 9.3% was influenced by other independent variables that were not studied in this study.

This study aims to examine the effect of information technology and competence on employee performance with leadership style as an intervening variable at the Class I Special Immigration Office Soekarno Hatta. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample size of 210 employees. Data collection techniques involved document studies and questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Information technology significantly affects employee performance with a t-value of 2.812 > t-table of 1.972 and a significant value of 0.012 < 0.05. (2) Competence also significantly affects employee performance with a t-value of 1.982 > t-table of 1.972 and a significant value of 0.0026 < 0.05. (3) Information technology significantly affects leadership style with a t-value of 2.009 > t-table of 1.972 and a significant value of 0.039 < 0.05. (4) Competence significantly affects leadership style with a t-value of 2.391 > t-table of 1.972 and a significant value of 0.040 < 0.05. (5) Leadership style significantly affects employee performance with a t-value of 2.364 > t-table of 1.972 and a significant value of 0.048 < 0.05. Furthermore, the analysis shows that the direct effect of information technology on employee performance is greater (0.50) than the indirect effect through leadership style (0.08), indicating that leadership style as an intervening variable is not effective. The same applies to competence, with the direct effect (0.95) being greater than the indirect effect (0.152).

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work motivation on the performance of civil servants (PNS) at the Office of the Domestic Policy Strategy Agency (BSKDN) in Central Jakarta. The study employs a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method, where data were collected through questionnaires distributed to a number of PNS within BSKDN. The collected data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of statistical software to examine the relationships and effects between variables. The results indicate that leadership style has a substantial and positive effect on PNS performance, suggesting that effective, inspiring, and communicative leadership can enhance employee productivity and work quality. Moreover, work motivation also demonstrates a positive and significant impact on PNS performance, indicating that highly motivated employees exhibit greater dedication, discipline, and initiative in carrying out their duties. Further analysis shows that when leadership style and work motivation are applied simultaneously, both provide a substantial influence on improving PNS performance, emphasizing the importance of synergy between good leadership and employees’ internal motivation. The practical implications of this study underscore the urgency for BSKDN to develop leadership training programs that can inspire, motivate, and empower employees comprehensively. Additionally, designing sustainable strategies to enhance work motivation is also crucial to optimize the performance of all PNS within BSKDN, ensuring organizational goals are achieved effectively and efficiently. This study contributes to the development of human resource management practices in the government sector, particularly in the context of enhancing employee performance through the combination of effective leadership and optimal work motivation.

Pemimpin yang efektif diperlukan untuk mengembangkan strategi dan struktur yang baik dan menarik karyawan, menginspirasi dan mendukung staf yang berpengalaman, menghargai komitmen mereka, dan meminimalkan turnover intention. Turnover intention mengacu pada kecenderungan atau rencana untuk berhenti dari pekerjaan di tempat kerja. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pendidikan tentang gaya kepemimpinan sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi turnover intention. Kegiatan pendidikan dilakukan dengan menerapkan empat tahap termasuk tahap I perencanaan dan pemilihan strategi, tahap II pemilihan saluran dan materi, tahap III pengembangan materi, tahap IV penerapan, tahap V meninjau efektivitas, tahap VI umpan balik untuk evaluasi. menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengetahuan kepala ruangan setelah diberikan pendidikan tentang gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berada pada kategori tinggi, yaitu 12 responden (85,8%). Latar belakang : Di seluruh dunia, kemajuan teknologi digital telah mengubah perilaku, gaya hidup, dan cara orang bersosialisasi satu sama lain, terutama melalui penggunaan internet dan media sosial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya dalam kehidupan remaja. Remaja adalah usia transisi dari anak- anak ke dewasa, berkisar antara 10 dan 20 tahun. Pada masa transisi ini, orang biasanya mengalami kegelisahan, konflik dengan orang tua, keinginan untuk mencoba hal baru, dan fantasi tentang masa depan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilakukan melalui penyuluhan bertema menjaga kesehatan mental di era digital yang diikuti oleh 52 siswa-siswi SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Patuk Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. Dalam penyuluhan ini diberikan paparan tentang pengaruh media sosial dan teknologi digital terhadap kesehatan mental khususnya para remaja adalah sangat beragam, dilanjutkan dengan upaya pencegahan dan dukungan kesehatan mental online, kontrol diri, peranan orang terdekat, masyarakat dan pemerintah. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini diikuti peserta dengan antusias, dibuktikan dengan banyaknya pertanyaan dan diskusi antara peserta dengan nara sumber selama kegiatan berlangsung. Pemaparan materi disampaikan secara interaktif dengan pemutaran video, permainan, diskusi dan berbagi tentang isu- isu terkini seputar masalah remaja yang sedang hangat diberitakan di media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dalam bentuk penyuluhan. Tujuan: agar siswa siswi dapat menjaga kesehatan mentalnya di era digital ini yang dampaknya ada yang positif juga dampak negatif. Sasaran: Siswa-siswi Kelas XII SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Patuk Gunungkidul,  Yogyakarta. Hasil: Pada Siswa-siswi kelas XII SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Patuk Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta menunjukkan pengetahuan yang meningkat setelah dilakukan penyuluhan tentang Edukasi Menjaga Kesehatan

This study aims to find out whether the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and the provision of work compensation on efforts to increase employee loyalty of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Post Office. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative research approach. The research conducted sampling at the Special Region Post Office of Yogyakarta. The sampling technique is using the Nonprobability Sampling technique with a saturated sampling approach. The sample used was 56 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis, hypothesis test and determinism coefficient. The data was analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results of the study showed that partially the variables of leadership style had a positive and insignificant effect on the variables of employee loyalty, partially the variables of work motivation had a positive and insignificant effect on employee loyalty, and partially the work compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. At the same time, it was shown that the variables of leadership style, work motivation, and work compensation had a positive and significant effect on the loyalty variables of employees of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Post Office.

In teaching mathematics subjects, a teacher must be competent in designing innovative learning materials so that they can develop students' potential, which is expected to affect their learning outcomes and which is one of the influencing factors in student success in mathematics lessons is learning style. This study applies a descriptive method. The purpose is to describe the form of learning difficulties experienced by grade VIII students at MTs SA Al Murtadho Kedungwaru in learning mathematics on phytagoras theorem material referring to aspects of each student's learning style. In determining a subject in a study, it is carried out using the purpose sampling technique. There are three learning styles that will be studied further in this study, namely visual, auditorial, and kinesthetic learning styles. The research subjects of six students were taken representatives from a total of 34 students, in each class two representatives will be taken for those who have a visual learning style, two students also with an auditorial learning style, and two more students with a kinesthetic learning style. The techniques used to obtain the necessary data will be distributed questionnaires, test questions, interviews with students, and documentary evidence. This study applies two ways by comparing data from observation results with interview results and will also compare a person's assessment with various points of view with other people's perspectives. The results found in the study stated that there are difficulties in students including difficulties in understanding concepts, problems, and answering questions related to the Pythagorean theorem. So teachers need to find a learning style that is suitable for each student in order to help students understand the material so that students can solve the questions given appropriately.

Krisis ekologis di Kalimantan Barat, seperti banjir tahunan, deforestasi, dan pencemaran sungai, menuntut keterlibatan berbagai pihak, termasuk mahasiswa Katolik. Gereja Katolik melalui ajaran ekologi integral menegaskan bahwa tanggung jawab ekologis adalah bagian dari iman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat pengetahuan, kesadaran, gaya hidup, dan refleksi iman mahasiswa Katolik terhadap isu lingkungan. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari 34 responden melalui angket daring dan dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki kesadaran ekologis awal dan bersedia terlibat dalam aksi lingkungan, namun belum sepenuhnya konsisten dalam praktik gaya hidup ramah lingkungan. Hanya sebagian kecil yang menerapkan kebiasaan konkret seperti membawa tempat makan sendiri. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara kesadaran dan tindakan, serta perlunya strategi pembinaan iman yang mengintegrasikan spiritualitas dan praktik ekologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak literasi keuangan, pola hidup, locus of control, dan parental income terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa program sarjana Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mengelola keuangan secara bijaksana, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi di zaman modern. Literasi keuangan menjadi elemen utama dalam pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai pengelolaan keuangan, sedangkan pola hidup, locus of control, dan pendapatan orang tua juga berperan dalam membentuk perilaku finansial mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 172 mahasiswa semester 5 sebagai sampel penelitian secara acak dari populasi sejumlah 300 mahasiswa sebagai responden. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik inferensial untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa, yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi literasi keuangan, semakin baik pula kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola keuangan. Pola hidup juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan, pola hidup yang bijak berkontribusi pada perilaku keuangan yang lebih baik. Selain itu, locus of control sebagai faktor internal mahasiswa menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan mereka. Begitu juga pengaruh pendapatan orang tua terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan menunjukkan signifikansi secara parsial. Namun, secara simultan, literasi keuangan, pola hidup, locus of control, dan parental income memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan.
