Verticulture or what can be called vertical farming is a system of cultivating plants vertically, so that the planting medium is put in a container that stands and rises up. This cultivation technique can be used in two ways, namely with water and soil as the planting medium. Pakcoy can be harvested when it is 40-50 days old, while curly lettuce can be harvested when it is 40-60 days old. This verticulture cultivation uses a mixture of several planting media such as soil, cocopeat, roasted husks, and kohe. The goal is for the plants to meet their nutritional needs and nutrients, so that the plants can grow optimally and have good quality.

This community service activity is carried out by the method of (1) community assistance in encouraging increased community participation (2) completion analysis problems and preparation of plans (3) Monitoring and evaluation of work program implementation activities.   The main target of this program is community groups and individuals who care highly about the environment with the aim of providing motivation for other communities. With the following stages of implementation: Consultation with the Village, Monitoring Planting Locations, Recruitment of seedlings at the Central Sulawesi Provincial Forestry Service, Planting on the banks of the hamlet 2 river, Planting on the banks of the hamlet 1 river, Planting in the yards of residents' houses, Planting at SD Negeri 2 Sindue   Tombusabora, Outreach on the dangers of throwing garbage into rivers and seas, Distributing plant seeds to residents. Greening is a means to overcome the environment so that the environment returns to health free from pollution.  

Plant classification exists to simplify and clarify the level of kinship and the type of treatment in plant distribution, at the taxonomic level there are family categories, this family in plant taxonomy is a classification system that groups plants based on similarities between their morphology, characteristics, morphology. Euphorbiaceae is a family with flower characteristics hidden in cyathia structures (inflorencia), sap and various sizes. This research is located in Cipeundeuy Village, Bantarujeg District, Majalengka Regency with quantitative analysis using the exploration method in the residents' yards in Cipeundeuy Village. The results of the study found 1 individual of Ephorbia milli, 1 individual of Euphorbia hirta, 1 individual of Pedilanthus tithymaloides, 4 individuals of Acalypha siamensis and 8 individuals of Manihot esculenta from the Euphorbiacea family. This plant is used as an ornamental plant and can be used as herbal medicine because it has chemical compounds that are antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial because it contains tannins, flavonoids and saponins which are effective for healing wounds and several other diseases. The purpose of this research is to inventory and identify plants in Cipeundeuy Village so that the systematics of plants in this area can be known.

In the residential area of ​​RT 09 RW IX, Sendang Mulyo Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City, many people have vehicles, especially 4-wheeled vehicles, which cannot be accommodated in their yard due to limited land or plots owned. On the other hand, there are public facilities at RT 09 RW IX, Sendang Mulyo Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City which are neglected and not utilized which are later expected to become communal parking areas for community members. The goals of community service related to the design and RAB of communal parking spaces in RT 09 RW IX, Sendang Mulyo Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City, include: creating a functional and good shared parking area so that residents' vehicles are no longer parked in the neighborhood road area, so that it will participate in organizing and beautifying and improving the quality of the environment. The method used in community service related to the design and RAB of communal parking spaces in RT 09 RW IX, Sendang Mulyo Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City is through field surveys or locations where the data is then collected, designed or designed, then a budget plan is made or WED. The expected results of community service related to the design and RAB of communal parking spaces consist of 3 things namely: first the participative level of the community towards their environment, secondly the design drawings of representative communal parking spaces, thirdly the budget plan or RAB to carry out the construction of communal parking spaces in RT 09 RW IX, Sendang Mulyo Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City. The output of community service related to the design and RAB of communal parking spaces in RT 09 RW IX, Sendang Mulyo Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City is in the form of a report containing pictures and RAB which will be submitted to the community in the neighborhood and to LPM UNTAG Semarang as evidence administrative responsibility.

Household environmental problems such as poor waste management, the practice of burning waste, and limited use of home yards remain major challenges in creating clean and healthy residential areas. Dasawisma, as the smallest unit within the PKK structure, holds a strategic role in fostering environmental awareness and pro-environmental behavior at the family level. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to build an environmentally caring community through strengthening the role of Dasawisma, improving members' knowledge, and encouraging new habits in household environmental management. The method used a participatory approach consisting of problem identification, interactive counseling sessions, hands-on practice in waste management and yard utilization, and field mentoring. The results indicate an increase in members' understanding of environmental issues, behavioral changes in sorting organic and inorganic waste, simple composting practices, and the cultivation of plants in home yards. In addition, collective awareness and the emergence of local leaders helped sustain the environmental movement within the community. This program demonstrates that strengthening Dasawisma is an effective family-based empowerment strategy to support social transformation toward a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.

Soursop fruit contains vitamin C and polyphenolic compounds that have the potential as a source of antioxidants. It is hoped that by consuming a lot of soursop fruit it will provide an increase in memory and to maintain cell damage due to free radicals. Making soursop candy preparations will allow use which is relatively easy to use and gives a good taste so that not only adults consume it but also for children. Service activities are divided into several stages starting from surveys and observations, followed by training in the form of tutorials then mentoring from the service team and ending with activity evaluation. Making soursop candy preparations is easy, simple and uses simple tools. We often encounter soursop fruit in the yard and for additional materials for making soursop preparations, it is easy to find on the market and the price is cheap. The principle of making it is all the ingredients are boiled until it becomes a semi-solid dough. Then wait until it cools down. Once cool, cut according to taste and wrapped in an attractive wrapper. Service activities carried out in RT 1/RW 1, Laweyan District, Surakarta went well while still implementing health protocols. In addition to providing training on making soursop candy preparations for PKK cadres in Kerten Laweyan Surakarta, training was also held related to opportunities to be developed as community independent businesses. The conclusion of the activity and evaluation of the preparation of soursop candy is considered to have the potential to be developed so that it can be used as an independent business product that is marketed commercially.

A healthy and well-maintained environment is a shared responsibility. However, problems often occur in the environment because many people do not care. Especially in the upstream part of the river which is always used as a place for laying the results of river backfill every year. Another problem is the narrow area due to the dense population of the area. Narrow land occurs everywhere, not familiar with urban areas or semi-urban villages. In carrying out community service activities, the service team uses the following activity methods: 1. Observation 2. Project planning 3. Evaluation and sharing. In connection with the problem of narrow land, the actions of the branch management and the community around Aisiyah Sukodono Kindergarten affected the success of reforestation carried out by the KKN team. All forms of involvement, efforts, and roles starting from design, implementation and maintenance are real actions in making the surrounding environment more productive. In establishing self-reliance, it is necessary to cooperate with the branch management and the local village government to develop a productive yard culture on limited land. It is hoped that this reforestation can be done by planting plants and plants that support the basic ingredients of the surrounding community.

Petai (Parkia speciosa Hassk) is a horticultural plant as a vegetable that is beneficial for health. Petai can help treat digestion to help neutralize stomach acid. Petai has a fairly high nutritional content, namely vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, and iron so it is necessary to make efforts to cultivate petai plants as a business opportunity. Petai trees grow and develop in Kenayan village, namely on vacant village treasury land, cliff land and yard. This service aims to increase the knowledge of farmers in the cultivation of petai. Service activities are carried out using a participatory method. The service activities were carried out 4 times, namely counseling on petai cultivation related to the provision of plant materials, care, harvesting and post-harvest, socialization about the propagation of petai plants by grafting, handing over assistance of a number of grafted petai seeds in the hope of fruiting more quickly and assistance in socialization about petai cultivation. Public knowledge about petai cultivation and how to propagate petai by grafting has increased. Grafting is one way to improve the quality of plants by attaching a piece of tree bark with buds from the scion to a slice of the bark of another tree from the rootstock so that it grows together to form a new plant. Planting petai in the yard of the house is an alternative as an herbal treatment to improve health and increase family income.

Garbage is the rest of the goods that are not used in human daily life. In this day and age, waste is a scourge of endless problems in everyday life, most people do not know how to recycle the waste, one of which is the people of Sei Rotan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. Sei Rotan Village has fertile soil so that the people there, especially mothers, take advantage of the fertile land to channel their hobbies by planting various types of flowers and will place them in the yard of the house, but the Sei Rattan Village women share their hobby of planting flowers with buy the pot even though with the garbage it can produce a beautiful pot. With that we held an activity of making flower pots with used cloth as a planting medium which aims to reduce waste and create creative things such as flower pots from used cloth as a planting medium.The activity of making flower pots from used materials as planting media uses stages as a process to create the flower pot work. In this activity we target the community, especially women in Sei Rotan Village. The waste by creating good works is more than just a pot product such as bags, chairs, etc., and also the people of Sei Rotan Village increase their turnover by selling pots with recycled materials and reducing spending on buying flower pots.

The Community Service Lecture work program in the form of hydroponic kale and catfish cultivation applications with an aquaponic system was carried out in Dawuhan Hamlet, Kayugiyang Village, Wonosobo Regency. The purpose of this KPM work program is to utilize the yard of the house so that it has productive value and educate the community with environmentally friendly cultivation systems. The stages of implementing this work program include the stages of field surveys and partner conditions, seeding kale seedlings, installing Aquaponics installation ponds, and mentoring activities. The technology used is the aquaponic system cultivation, which utilizes catfish manure as natural fertilizer for water spinach plants placed on it. From the results of the implementation of the KPM work program, it resulted in 1 (one) unit of aquaponic cultivation ponds, increasing public knowledge, especially for teenagers who are KPM partners.

The morbidity rate also plays a role in assessing the health status of the community. The morbidity rate in 2013 was 11.74 and decreased in 2014 to 9.18 and increased in 2016 to 11.90. (Dinkes: 2016) The implementation of PHBS is low, because there are still many students who eat snacks carelessly and there is still garbage scattered in the school yard. The UKS exists but the program does not run due to the lack of supporting facilities, and their lack of knowledge regarding how to wash hands properly and correctly. Aims to increase the knowledge of elementary school students in clean and healthy living behavior through the Socialization of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS) with the Three Thumb system, Provide understanding and awareness to elementary school students about the importance of the school PHBS program Able to reduce morbidity due to lack personal hygiene in the school environment. The method used in this activity is the lecture method, demonstration method and practical method, data collection techniques, namely the initial test and the final test. The result is that there is an increase of 21% of students' knowledge of the importance of PHBS.
