Digital transformation has become a key catalyst in the reform of tax administration in the data-driven economy era. This study aims to analyze the role of digital transformation and fiscal incentives in enhancing taxpayer compliance, with tax literacy serving as a significant reinforcing variable. A quantitative approach was employed using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to active taxpayers in Indonesia. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to examine the relationship between digital transformation, fiscal incentives, tax literacy, and taxpayer compliance. The findings reveal that digital transformation has a positive and significant impact on improving taxpayer compliance by enhancing efficiency and transparency within the tax administration system. Fiscal incentives were also found to be effective in encouraging compliance motivation, particularly when integrated with digital systems that simplify tax reporting and payment processes. Moreover, tax literacy plays a strong mediating role, amplifying the effects of digital transformation and fiscal incentives on compliance behavior. These results confirm that successful tax reform in the digital era depends not only on technological infrastructure but also on improving taxpayers’ awareness and understanding of fiscal responsibility. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of adaptive, transparent, and sustainable national fiscal policies. It recommends that the government strengthen the integration of the national digital tax system, develop data-based tax literacy programs, and refine fiscal incentive designs to more effectively promote long-term taxpayer compliance.

The POSEIDON 2025 program is a community service initiative focused on enhancing environmental resilience and improving the welfare of coastal communities in Kalijaga Hamlet. The program began with a series of surveys aimed at identifying environmental conditions, social dynamics, and the main issues faced by local residents. The survey results revealed rapid sedimentation, accumulated waste along the coastline, and seawater intrusion that rendered groundwater unfit for consumption. Based on these findings, several solution-oriented activities were designed, including the installation of a water filter in the mosque, seminars and socialization on the functions and conservation of mangroves, the planting of 100 mangrove seedlings, the restoration of the Community Hall with the addition of an environmental-themed reading corner, and a beach clean-up activity. The program was carried out over three days with the involvement of local residents, students, academics, and social organizations. The implementation results showed an increase in public awareness of the importance of protecting mangrove ecosystems and coastal cleanliness, improved access to clean water, and enhanced environmental literacy among children. This program demonstrates that interdisciplinary collaboration and active community participation play a vital role in achieving sustainable and resilient coastal development.

Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right, yet it is not absolute, as it may be restricted under certain conditions in accordance with international law, such as the protection of reputation, national security, and public order. In Indonesia, this right is guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and its derivative regulations. However, the rapid development of information and communication technology has reshaped the landscape of public discourse. The digital space, while facilitating easier access to and dissemination of information, also presents challenges, including hate speech, misinformation, cyberbullying, and the potential for criminalization due to ambiguous regulations. To respond to these challenges, the Regional Board of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PDNA) Semarang organized a community service program in the form of a public dialogue titled “Freedom of Speech: Between Rights and Risks” on August 9, 2025, at the Hall of the Central Java Provincial Archives and Library Service. This activity was carried out through a participatory approach by academics who are also members of PDNA, together with the PDNA Semarang board. Two speakers were presented, Dr. Mochamad Riyanto, S.H., M.Si., a legal expert from Universitas 17 Agustus (Untag) Semarang, and Aris Mulyawan, Chair of the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) Semarang. The dialogue produced three main findings: first, the need for legal awareness so that freedom of expression does not lead individuals into legal problems; second, the importance of digital literacy to reduce the spread of hoaxes and hate speech; and third, the urgency of building safe digital spaces through collaboration among communities, media, and educational institutions. The discussion emphasizes that freedom of expression in the digital era must be understood as both a right and a responsibility, requiring a fair regulatory ecosystem and continuous digital literacy enhancement

Students as agents of change play an important role in the process of community development, not only in the academic environment but also in responding to various social issues. Community service is part of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), which emphasizes the application of knowledge while improving the social, spiritual, and economic quality of society. This study explores the implementation of the “Student Service: Al-Qur'an Generation, Literacy, and Economic Independence” program in Merambung Village, Tangkit Hamlet. This program focuses on three main aspects, namely strengthening religious education through Al-Qur'an teaching at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), improving basic literacy through guidance in reading, writing, and arithmetic, and empowering the local economy through assistance for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was used, actively involving the community in every stage of the program's implementation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the ability to read the Qur'an and the application of spiritual values, an increase in interest and skills in basic literacy, and an increase in the competitiveness and independence of MSME actors through training and the use of promotional media. In addition to providing direct benefits to the community, this program also helped develop students' capacity in the application of knowledge, social empathy, and leadership competencies. The findings of this study confirm.

Mental health is an increasingly critical issue among Generation Z, particularly due to rising academic and social pressures faced by adolescents. This community service program aimed to improve students’ mental health literacy through digital-based education utilizing the Psy-Share platform. The program was conducted at SMAN 93 Jakarta, involving direct health education and the distribution of a Google Form to map students’ psychological conditions and assess their need for online mental health services. Evaluation results showed that 95.8% of respondents agreed with the formal launch of Psy-Share, indicating a high level of acceptance toward digital and innovative educational approaches. However, the development process of this platform encountered challenges, particularly in brand building and addressing stigma surrounding online mental health services. In response, the implementing team developed a robust branding strategy and emphasized educational public communication supported by user testimonials. This program demonstrates that digital approaches can be effective tools in promoting mental health education among adolescents and expanding access to inclusive, responsive mental health services tailored to Generation Z's needs.

Kramat Village, located in Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency, is a coastal area with abundant fisheries resources, one of which is fish paste (petis ikan), a long-standing local product. However, the processing businesses in this village still face challenges, particularly in terms of simple packaging and traditional marketing patterns, making it difficult to compete in modern markets. To address these issues, the Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Madura implemented training and mentoring focused on packaging innovation and the introduction of digital marketing strategies. The implementation methods included field observations, interviews with business actors, training to improve product quality, trial application of new packaging, and program evaluation. The results indicated significant improvements in product packaging quality, entrepreneurial skills in branding, and the utilization of social media as a promotional tool. A key achievement was the shift in entrepreneurs’ mindset from merely producing for local consumption to targeting broader markets. The program’s contribution lies in producing more competitive fish paste products, enhancing entrepreneurial literacy among the community, and strengthening the competitiveness of local MSMEs. Therefore, this KKN activity not only creates short-term impacts but also opens opportunities for sustainable community economic development.

Mangroves are tropical coastal ecosystems that play a vital role in climate change mitigation, ecosystem service provision, and supporting the livelihoods of local communities. However, over the past five decades, the world has lost nearly one-third of its mangrove forests due to land conversion, coastal development, and overexploitation. In Papua, Waropen represents one of the regions with extensive mangrove coverage while simultaneously facing ecological degradation pressures. This study aims to examine the role of Waropen women in mangrove management, particularly following the Women’s School (Sekoper Waropen) initiative launched in 2018, which graduated its first cohort in 2019. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, relying on secondary data from government reports, scholarly publications, and media documentation. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify changes in women’s social, economic, and ecological roles post-Sekoper. The findings reveal a significant transformation in women’s roles. Prior to Sekoper, women were mostly confined to subsistence use of mangrove resources for household consumption and had limited involvement in public forums. After participating in Sekoper, women became more engaged in mangrove rehabilitation, village decision-making processes, and economic ventures such as mangrove-based food and beverage products, including crab dishes and mangrove fruit syrup. The program also enhanced women’s environmental literacy, self-confidence, and social recognition as agents of change. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited access to capital, technology, and policy support. This study highlights the importance of gender mainstreaming in coastal ecosystem governance and offers recommendations to strengthen women’s role as key actors in sustainable development.

The rapid expansion of digital platforms in higher education has paved the way for Virtual Exchange (VE) as a viable alternative to traditional student mobility programs. VE leverages online technologies to connect university students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, enabling cross-cultural communication and global collaboration without the financial and geographical barriers associated with physical exchanges. Despite its potential, challenges remain regarding student engagement, technological limitations, and reduced immersion compared to face-to-face interactions. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of VE in fostering intercultural awareness and teamwork skills among university students. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys to measure intercultural competence and collaboration with qualitative interviews to explore students’ experiences in depth. The findings indicate that VE contributes significantly to the development of intercultural understanding, digital literacy, and teamwork, with students reporting enhanced awareness of cultural diversity and improved adaptability in online collaboration. Visual and statistical analyses highlight clear patterns in how VE facilitates skill development, while qualitative data emphasize both the benefits and obstacles students encounter, such as managing time zone differences and cultural nuances. The study concludes that VE represents an inclusive and scalable educational approach that complements traditional exchange programs, offering broader access to global learning opportunities while addressing issues of equity and accessibility. However, its limitations suggest that VE should be integrated strategically, potentially through hybrid models that balance virtual and physical mobility to maximize its impact.

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Jakpreneur program in reducing unemployment in South Jakarta. Jakpreneur is a strategic initiative launched by the Jakarta Provincial Government as a concrete effort to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This program is designed with various forms of support, such as skills training, business mentoring, legal licensing facilitation, product marketing support, and easy access to capital. This aims to create an inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem, especially amidst the complex challenges of the urban economy and the ongoing unemployment rate. However, in its implementation on the ground, the program's effectiveness still faces several obstacles. One of the main problems identified is the suboptimality of information technology-based training. Many participants have not yet mastered basic digital skills, making it difficult to keep up with developments in training methods that rely on technology. In addition, the low level of responsiveness of program facilitators to participant needs, as well as the limited digital literacy of MSMEs, also hinders maximizing the benefits of this program. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The findings indicate that, despite some shortcomings, the Jakpreneur program has been generally successful in improving participants' entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, reaching the right target audience, and having a tangible impact on increasing business capacity and reducing unemployment. Therefore, strengthening outreach, improving the quality of digital training, and providing more active and responsive mentoring is necessary to further enhance the program's effectiveness.

Vocabulary mastery is a fundamental component in English language learning that determines comprehension, speaking, and writing skills. However, in the context of district-level communities, including the Regional Library of Labuhan Batu, vocabulary learning still faces various challenges such as the lack of contextual teaching materials, the dominance of rote learning methods, and the limited use of local resources. To address these issues, this Community Service Program (PkM) proposes the application of lexical analysis on 100 local library documents as the basis for developing interactive media used in vocabulary training. The method employed is a community-based participatory approach, with stages including preparation, lexical analysis, media development, training, and evaluation. Corpus analysis produced 27,800 word types with 200 high-frequency words and 1,350 distinctive local vocabulary items. The interactive media developed include multimedia modules, Wordwall quizzes, mobile-based gamification, and bilingual infographics. The training was attended by 40 participants, with evaluation results showing a significant improvement in the average post-test score (76.8) compared to the pre-test (42.5), and 82.5% of participants achieving scores ≥70. Furthermore, 90% of participants reported increased motivation to learn, and 85% considered the locally based materials more relevant. Thus, this PkM provides a tangible contribution to enhancing English literacy through local vocabulary and offers an interactive learning model that can be replicated in other regional libraries in Indonesia.
