The availability of sea sand on the beach of Ujung Tape Pinrang is in very large quantities that can be used as materials in making concrete. The purpose of the study is to analyze the characteristics of beach sand, compressive strength and tensile strength produced. An experimental research method in the Civil Engineering Laboratory, University of Muhammadiyah Parepare with a treatment system for ordinary water immersion and analysis of the characteristics of concrete mechanical properties using a compression machine test. The results of the study at the maintenance age of 28 days with a planned compressive strength of 20 MPa produced a compressive strength of 28.29 MPa and a tensile strength of 7.78 MPa, a planned compressive strength of 24 MPa resulted in a compressive strength of 29.98 MPa and a tensile strength of 8.22 MPa, and a planned compressive strength of 28 MPa produces a compressive strength of 31.40 MPa and a tensile strength of 8.44 MPa. The results of the study on compressive strength and tensile strength showed an increase in each increase in planned compressive strength.

The smooth operation of the ship is inseparable from the support of auxiliary aircraft with good work and maintenance systems. The compressor as a producer of compressed air which will be used for the initial ignition of the main engine, and auxiliary engines as well as working air services in the engine section and the deck section. Thus, maintenance needs to be carried out so that the required air capacity can be fulfilled at any time. For the smooth operation of the machine, good maintenance management is needed so that its condition is maintained and when it is used there are no problems and it can work optimally. Many experts say that how important it is to make a good maintenance management. The method used in this research is the field research method supported by conducting interviews with several parties related to the research topic and supported by library research methods. To carry out maintenance and repairs to the air compressor on the main engine at KM Umsini, it is necessary to carry out maintenance and repair management which includes planning, organizing, implementing and finally controlling. The suggestion that the author can convey is that the ship's crew, especially the engineers, learn correctly the workings or functions of the air compressor on the main engine so that when the ship is operating it experiences problems that can be resolved properly.

Developments in the world of manufacturing industry are increasing, very tight industrial competition is encouraging industry to increase production effectiveness. PT. PAN Brothers is a manufacturing industry located in Boyolali, Central Java. PT. PAN Brothers produces clothing types such as jackets, coats, ski jackets, down jackets, tracksuits, travel pants and so on. During the production process, sewing machines have problems, namely machine damage. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of sewing machine performance using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method and provide suggestions for improving the results of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. The measurement uses the OEE method with three main components, namely availability rate, performance rate and quality rate to identify types of losses based on the six big losses. The average OEE value of 60% is still below world class standards with factors influencing the low OEE value. namely the performance rate, while the losses that affect the effectiveness value of the performance rate are Idling and minor stoppages losses with a value of 42%. By carrying out root cause analysis using a fishbone diagram, the root causes of low performance values ​​influenced by Idling and minor stoppage losses are known, namely machine factors, human factors, methods, materials and the environment. After identifying the problem and measuring the Risk Priority Number (RPN), suggestions for improvement were obtained including providing training to operators, to implement a preventive maintenance system, adding employees in the line balancing section and adding equipment to support machine repair facilities.

Semarang State Polytechnic as a tertiary institution implementing the Tri Darma of Higher Education through the 2023 Competitive Community Service program sees several problems faced by UMKM partners, where the service partner who collaborates with us is Mang Ngat UMKM, one of whose businesses is engaged in making salted eggs, where One of the problems faced is that there is no egg washing machine that replaces manual washing of salted eggs, but this problem can be resolved with the provision or donation of a salted egg washing machine in the first stage. The next problem faced by Mang Ngat UMKM service activity partners is that they require knowledge of the machine operation process according to procedures so that the operation is safer for the operator and the machine. Apart from that, Mang Ngat UMKM also need knowledge of the maintenance process for the salted egg washing machine so that the machine can last longer. long. With these problems, in the follow-up activities of Community Service to Mang Ngat UMKM after the provision or grant of egg washing machines, follow-up activities were carried out, namely by carrying out training on the operation and maintenance of salted egg washing machines at Mang Ngat UMKM in the Rasamala market, Srondol Wetan housing complex, Banyumanik sub-district, Semarang city, with After carrying out training on the operation and maintenance of salted egg washing machines, it is hoped that the salted egg washing machines can be operated safely by Mang Ngat UMKM and maintenance can be carried out properly so that the salted egg washing machines can increase their service life.

In running a business there are definitely risks. Risks that arise from the internal and external environment of the business can result in the business experiencing losses. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques originating from observations and interviews with the owner of the Manju Steamed Bread business, Tuasan Branch. This research will use Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), where ERM implementation is usually implemented by identifying risks, assessing and controlling risks. Businesses that use Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) can get risks ranging from low (low), medium (medium), high (high). This research aims to identify risks that may occur in the Manju Steamed Bread business, Tuasan Branch, then create a risk matrix to determine the worst risks that must be prioritized in control. The research results show that there are operational risks, namely employees not following steaming machine operating procedures, lack of maintenance of the machine and bread steaming equipment by employees and delays in the arrival of raw materials. This risk will affect the quality of taste, service, and can result in losses due to shop closures due to delays in the arrival of raw materials, so risk management is needed which aims to reduce operational risks that may occur.

XYZ is a company operating in the textile industry and producing rayon fabric. In the production process, defects were still found in the period October 2023 – March 2024. Rayon fabric production was 286973m, consisting of defects in final weft 11643m, wavy 8391m, unwoven 7569m, double weft 6173m, stretch weft 8126m. Based on the problem, it can be solved using the six sigma method and FMEA with the DMAIC stage used to control quality from the initial process until a proposal for improvement is found. Obtained from the calculation results, the average sigma is 3.39 with an average DPMO of 29046.87 in production approval. The Pareto diagram of the most dominant defect percentages is final weft defects 27.8%, wavy 20.0%, loose weft 19.4%, non-woven 18.1%, double weft 14.7%. The highest RPN value was 280 for final feed defects and waves caused by workers' lack of accuracy regarding machine settings. PG Madukismo is a sugar factory that was established in 1955 and is the only sugar factory in the province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This factory is located in Padokan Village, Tirtonirmolo Village, Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. PT Madubaru, a company engaged in sugar cane processing, is a sugar and spirits factory located in the Yogyakarta area. Companies that produce cane sugar with SHS IA quality. Product defects are often found, resulting in a decrease in quality, therefore it is necessary to carry out quality control. This study uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to identify failure modes, Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) to determine the consequences of failure arising from failure modes and determine effective preventive maintenance policies for each machine. For the production quality control section, the Statistical Processing Control (SPC) method is used to analyze product defects to determine whether product defects are still within controllable limits or not. While the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method is used to determine the failure mode in sugar production. For the quality control section on raw materials using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Re-Order Point (ROP), Safety Stock (SS), and Total Inventory Cost (TIC) methods. The conclusion of this study is regarding the results of the analysis and calculations carried out with several settlement methods and there are several causes of production defects from 5 factors, such as: human factors, work methods, environment, raw materials and machines used. And provide solutions to companies in order to reduce defects by controlling product quality.

The instability of the economy and increasingly sharp competition in the industry requires a company to further enhance the efficiency of its operations. Treatment method that has been used is still corrective maintenance where engine maintenance activities undertaken to improve and enhance the condition of the engine so as to achieve the standards set at the level tersebut.Besarnya machine downtime which reaches up to 40% each month. Due to the growing number of downtime that occurs it will be increasingly detrimental to the productivity of a company. In this study used methods Realibility Centered Maintenance abbreviated to (RCM), which is to determine the optimal engine maintenance activities for the company. Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is an approach that combines maintenance practices and strategies of preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (cm) to maximize the life (life time) and the function of assets / systems / equipment at a minimal cost. Subjects studied machine is the machine Injection Molding, where the focus of engine components that will be examined as many as six parts: Barrel, Piston Injection, Toggle Clamping, Nozzle, Hydro Motor, Hopper. As for the category based on time (TD), the treatment provided in the form of component replacement schedule. Category finding damage (FF) recommended replacement components if the level of damage exceeds tolerable limits. Failure of components that include safety problem 13:33%, Outage System 80.00%, 6.67% Economic System. This study presents an advanced structural health monitoring (SHM) system for steel bridges based on wireless sensor networks (WSN) integrated with machine learning algorithms. The proposed system monitors and predicts structural integrity under various load conditions. The research focuses on developing a machine learning model capable of real-time anomaly detection, allowing for early warnings of potential failures. Experimental results from both simulation and field tests demonstrate the system’s effectiveness in prolonging bridge lifespan while reducing maintenance costs.

The method used in this research is a literature study or literature study in scientific journals. The availability of the machine affects the production process, if it does not reach 90% then the machine is not well prevented, this effect affects the damage to the machine, if it is below that means the machine is often damaged. additional personnel and training on the equipment team, especially experts in the field of programming, because then the company does not need to contact the dutch directly to fix problems in the program. Preventive Maintenance (PM) is an approach used in maintaining equipment and machines to prevent unwanted damage or failure. A sachet filling machine is a machine for packaging products that will be distributed in sachet packaging according to the predetermined product weight. Preventive maintenance helps identify potential problems, saves on costly repairs, and keeps equipment in optimal operational condition. Maintenance is the main supporting activity which aims to ensure the role (function) of a production system (machinery, equipment) so that it can be used according to its intended purpose when necessary. In writing this scientific paper, the author explains the theoretical basis of the meaning of Ship Safety Equipment, Liferaft, and the meaning of Tug boat. This research was carried out at PT. Kartika Samudra Adijaya site Berau during land practice, the method used in this research was a qualitative method. In this case, data is collected through interviews and field observations. This research concludes that maintaining liferaft safety equipment is very important so that it can be used optimally when needed.

By utilizing machine learning algorithms, the system can analyze real-time machine data to predict equipment failures and recommend timely maintenance actions. The implementation of predictive maintenance has shown to reduce machine downtime by 20% and improve operational efficiency in manufacturing plants in Jakarta and Surabaya. This paper discusses the technical design of the predictive maintenance system, its economic impact on production costs, and implications for Indonesia's industrial sector.

Fungsi pemeliharaan menjadi lebih diperlukan karena produktivitas meningkat dan mesin berteknologi tinggi dan fasilitas produksi digunakan. PT. Primissima yang merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi tekstil berupa kain mori dan kain abu-abu mempunyai permasalahan yang timbul terutama terkait dengan kerusakan pada komponen mesin shuttle, hal ini mengakibatkan downtime dan tertundanya proses produksi sehingga kinerja mesin menjadi kurang. efektif. Dengan menggunakan metode RCM, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan saran preventive maintenance dan interval waktu perawatan yang optimal pada mesin yang berguna untuk meminimalisir downtime sehingga produksi dapat tetap berjalan sesuai fungsinya.Dari pengolahan data menggunakan metode RCM diperoleh hasil pada komponen Filling fork teath dengan interval perawatan selama 49,64 jam, pada komponen shuttle dengan interval perawatan selama 25,4 jam, pada komponen Nylon Picker dengan interval perawatan selama 64 jam. pada komponen lugstrap dengan interval perawatan selama 14,4 jam, pada komponen Picking Stick dengan interval perawatan selama 69,3  jam.

PT The lathe is one of the essential machines in production activities in this company. The amount of downtime caused by machine failure will reduce product quality and quantity. Therefore, this research aims to identify the factors that most influence the risk of lathe failure so that repair priorities and maintenance strategies can be determined. This can be achieved by using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. FMEA is a method that can be used to identify the causes and impacts of each possible failure mode on machine components by systematically explaining the levels of failure so that appropriate prevention or repair can be carried out. The FMEA method shows the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value as a reference in determining the choice of maintenance strategy, namely, predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance or corrective maintenance. The research results show that the highest RPN value is found in the motor shaft pulley component at 320 and Nut Screw at 210. Human resources as one of the resources in an organization play an important role in the successful achievement of organizational goals. Human resources use other resources owned by the organization in order to achieve goals. Even sophisticated technological machines will be meaningless if the human resources running them are not qualified to work on them. Likewise with information resources. No matter how good and complete the information received by the organization, it will not mean anything, if the quality of existing human resources is not able to translate it into information that is useful for the development and progress of the organization. Human resource management is the process of planning, organizing, implementing and controlling towards human resources in the organization to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. The management functions applied in human resource management consist of, (1) planning, (2) organizing, (3) directing. ), and (4) controlling. The operational functions carried out by human resource management are, (1) procurement, (2) development, (3) compensation, (4) integration, (5) maintenance, and (6) termination of employment (separation). One of the important activities carried out in human resource management, especially in the planning function, is job analysis. Management of facilities and infrastructure is one of the factors affecting success in a company. One is to support the company's operational activities. The purpose of this study was to find out the management of infrastructure in one of the companies engaged in food and beverage. The research results show that the company has carried out management by doing the planning, procurement, maintenance, inventory, and removal of infrastructure. However, not all infrastructure is in an optimal state. This can be seen from the manual use of the machine and the leaky air conditioning due to the lack of regular maintenance. This study used qualitative methods using data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and prior literature, and using purposive sampling techniques.

Dalam lean manufacturing, keandalan mesin sangat penting, sehingga mendorong banyak perusahaan di seluruh dunia untuk mengadopsi strategi pemeliharaan yang efektif dan efisien. Salah satunya adalah menggunakan Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), yaitu pendekatan sistematis untuk mengidentifikasi pemeliharaan preventif dengan menetapkan interval perawatan. PT. Pelita Cengkareng Paper saat ini menerapkan maintenance hanya jika mesin mengalami kerusakan. Paper Machine PM 5 merupakan mesin yang mengalami downtime tertinggi selama 2 tahun, yaitu 840.07 jam. Pada PM 5, downtime tertinggi ditemukan di mesin Press.  Nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) komponen kritis tertinggi mesin Press ditemukan pada komponen Felt dan Uhle Box. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh interval waktu perawatan komponen Felt adalah 346,15 jam, komponen Uhle Box 385,03 jam Dengan menggunakan RCM Decision Worksheet dapat diketahui jenis kerusakan komponen Felt yaitu: longgar, macet dan kotor. Sedangkan untuk komponen Uhle Box ditemukan cover Uhle Box aus. Tindakan scheduled discard task utamanya dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keandalam komponen.
