This research is entitled Analysis of Language Style and Concrete Words in the Poem “Doa Orang Sibuk yang 24 Jam Sehari Berkantor Di Ponselnya” by Joko Pinurbo. This research is a form of appreciation for literary works in the context of understanding language styles and concrete words in poetry. This study aims to describe and interpret the use of language style and concrete words in the poem titled “Doa Orang Sibuk yang 24 Jam Berkantor Di Ponselnya” by Joko Pinurbo. According to Sudjiman, language style includes diction or lexical choice, sentence structure, majas and imagery, rhyme patterns, and matra found in literary works (1987: 13) while concrete words are words that can be described concretely by the reader's mind when reading a poem. The method used in this research uses a qualitative method by investigating the language style and concrete words in the poem “Doa Orang Sibuk yang 24 Jam Sehari Berkantor di Ponselnya” by Joko Pinurbo so as to produce concrete data. This research is a descriptive research. Data sources were obtained from data and documents collected in the form of primary data in the form of the poem 'Fiersa Besari Untukmu' and secondary data in the form of supporting books suitable for this research. This data analysis was carried out in several stages. This means studying literature through reading, noting, and identifying lines of poetry that contain the diction and language style of the poetry. The data analysis method used is descriptive. Data analysis concludes that there are denotative and connotative meanings in the diction and language style of poetry.

This study analyzes President Prabowo's speech acts in an interview with six journalists and editors-in-chief on the program "Presiden Prabowo Answers" on Najwa Shihab's YouTube channel. Using a pragmatic approach and qualitative descriptive methods, this study identifies three types of speech acts: locution, illocution, and perlocution. The results show that Prabowo not only conveys information, but also inserts certain intentions and shapes public perception through a strategic speech style. This finding confirms that language in political communication plays an important role in building an image and influencing the audience.

This research aims to determine the types of language styles used by the main female character in the novel "Mariposa" by Luluk HF and to analyze the meaning and function of these language styles in building character characterization. The problem that will be raised in this research is the form and variations of language styles that appear in the dialogue and monologue of the main character, as well as the role of these language styles in revealing the psychological dimensions of the character. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a stylistic approach, where data is collected through reading and note-taking techniques for quotations that contain language styles in the novel. The results of the analysis show that there are five dominant language styles used by the main character, namely metaphor, hyperbole, personification, simile, and repetition. This language style functions to describe the character's feelings, strengthen the delivery of the message, and build an atmosphere in the story. This research has the potential to become a reference for the development of stylistic studies of contemporary Indonesian literature and can be used as learning material for stylistic analysis at the tertiary level as well as for similar research with a focus on other linguistic aspects.

This article contains an analysis of the language style and figures of speech in the lyrics of the song "Sampai Jadi Debu" by Banda Neira. The discussion in this article focuses on the diction aspect of connotation and the use of figures of speech contained in the song's lyrics. The research method used to analyze the song lyrics is a qualitative descriptive method. The analysis carried out shows that the diction contained in the song lyrics is connotative. The connotative diction used in the song's lyrics is a manifestation of the creative thoughts of the songwriter when creating the lyrics for his songs. Apart from that, the song's lyrics use many figures of speech including metaphors, allegory figures of speech, and hyperbole figures of speech.

The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the language in enhancing audience understanding and acceptance of preaching messages. The methodology involves a literature review with qualitative analysis of Ustadzah Oki’s sermons available on digital platforms. The findings reveal that Ustadzah Oki’s communication style is characterized by simplicity, friendliness, and empathy. These traits enable her preaching to be well-received by diverse groups, particularly the younger generation. Furthermore, Ustadzah Oki often uses inspiring stories and analogies closely related to everyday life, making it easier for the audience to grasp the messages. Her soft tone and choice of positive words also create a comforting and engaging atmosphere. This approach not only effectively conveys the message but also builds emotional connections with the audience. The study also highlights positive feedback from audiences, evident from various comments and responses on social media. Many feel motivated and inspired by her inclusive preaching style, which transcends social, age, and educational backgrounds. This article suggests that similar approaches should be widely adopted in preaching to ensure that religious messages are universally accessible. In conclusion, Ustadzah Oki’s friendly, simple, and empathetic communication approach significantly enhances the effectiveness of her preaching and strengthens emotional bonds with her audience. This model of communication is relevant in modern preaching contexts and serves as an inspiration for other preachers to integrate universal Islamic values with creative and heartfelt communication methods. Thus, preaching becomes not only a medium for conveying religious teachings but also a tool for fostering broader social harmony.

This article aims to analyze the use of muqabalah as a language style in Surah Al-Mulk and its impact on conveying moral and spiritual messages in the Al-Qur'an. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes verses containing muqabalah and discusses various contrasts that arise, such as life and death, courage and fear, and luck and loss. The methodology used includes literature study, tafsir, and rhetorical analysis to explore how muqabalah enriches the meaning of the text and increases reader understanding. The results of this research show that there is Muqabalah Khilafi in verse 3, Muqabalah Naziri in verse 15, and Muqabalah Naqidhi in verses 20, 21, and 22. These findings confirm that the use of muqabalah in Surah Al-Mulk not only clarifies the meaning, but also has a psychological impact profound for readers. The contrasts displayed serve to increase moral awareness and spiritual responsibility, as well as provide relevance to these messages in modern life. The uniqueness of this research lies in its emphasis on how muqabalah can be applied in learning the Koran in the contemporary era, as well as providing suggestions for increasing spiritual awareness through creative and relevant approaches. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to a better understanding and application of the teachings of the Qur'an among Muslims.

This research discusses the comparison of expressions of love in Indonesian and Turkish in the song "Apalah Cinta" by Ayu Ting Ting, which is the result of a cross-cultural collaboration with the Turkish singer, Keremcem. This song is interesting to analyze because it reflects the cultural and linguistic differences between the two languages ​​in expressing love. This research uses a text analysis approach to examine song lyrics in both languages, and considers the cultural context that influences expressions of love. The research results show that Indonesian tends to convey love in a direct and simple way, while Turkish uses more poetic and metaphorical expressions. Even though there are differences in language structure and style of expression, they both have a similar message, namely about the beauty of love and universal feelings that transcend language and cultural boundaries. This research highlights how works of art such as songs can be an effective medium for bridging cultural differences, as well as enriching cross-cultural understanding.

The language employed reflects an effective communication strategy to foster emotional closeness with her audience. Moreover, the social media context enables the use of informal language to create interactive and authentic relationships. This study highlights the significance of language variations in strengthening social connections and constructing personal identity on social media.

This article aims to describe the role of Al-Salb and Al-Ijab in understanding Uslub Al-Hakim in Quran Surah Al-Baqarah verse 190. Uslub Al-Hakim, characterized by shifting the conversation to more important matters, often utilizes the contrast between Al-Salb and Al-Ijab. This study specifically analyzes how the contrasting roles of Al-Salb and Al-Ijab within Uslub Al-Hakim create a broad and profound meaning implied in the verse. Through a case study of the relevant verse from Surah Al-Baqarah, the paper will explain how Uslub Al-Hakim shifts the discourse from one subject to another, and will also explain how the mechanisms of Al-Salb and Al-Ijab work to strengthen arguments and draw the reader’s attention. The data for this research is sourced from the Quran and analyzed qualitatively. The findings of this study are expected to contribute new insights into the study of Quranic style and provide a deeper understanding of the language used in the sacred text.

Qualitative research methods are used to describe the diverse language styles and communication styles that are emotional and supportive. The results of the analysis show that the language style used tends to be simple and moderate, while the communication style used is expressive, supportive, and emotional.
