Islamic education management in the contemporary era is no longer adequate if understood solely as an administrative activity, but must be built on a solid philosophical, ethical, and spiritual foundation. This article aims to analyze the concept of Islamic education management from the perspective of Al-Ghazali and Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and examine the relevance of its implementation for contemporary Islamic education management. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type. Data were obtained from the primary works of both figures and various relevant secondary sources, then analyzed through a comparative-conceptual approach with qualitative content analysis techniques and hermeneutic reading. The results show that Al-Ghazali emphasizes the ethical-spiritual dimension of education through the integration of knowledge, charity, morals, and purification of the soul, while al-Attas emphasizes the epistemological-philosophical dimension through the concepts of ta'dib, adab, and the Islamic worldview. Both have a common ground in the view that Islamic education must be directed at the formation of knowledgeable, civilized, and moral human beings, and should not be reduced to a technical process with neutral value. In terms of implementation, this study synthesizes the thoughts of both figures relevant to strengthening education, leadership, curriculum and learning management, institutional culture formation, and holistic educational evaluation. Therefore, Islamic educational management is ideally built on a foundation of ethical-spiritual and epistemological-philosophical integration to ensure effective, valuable, and transcendental-oriented educational governance.

Taxes are a primary source of state revenue and play a crucial role in supporting national development. However, increasing tax revenue still faces several challenges, particularly the lack of public awareness in fulfilling tax obligations. This study aims to examine the role of public awareness in improving taxpayer compliance and its impact on state revenue. The approach used in this research is qualitative, reviewing literature from various previous studies. Research findings indicate that tax awareness, understanding, and knowledge have a positive impact on taxpayer compliance. Other economic factors such as inflation, population, and economic growth also play a role in influencing tax revenue. However, external factors such as socialization and tax sanctions show inconsistent results. Consequently, increasing public awareness through tax education is a key strategy for sustainably improving the country's performance. In addition, transparent tax management and effective government communication are important factors in strengthening public trust and encouraging voluntary taxpayer compliance. Therefore, collaboration between the government and society is needed to create a sustainable and effective taxation system that supports national economic growth.

This study aims to examine the effect of village apparatus capacity on accountability in village fund management, with the village financial system (SISKEUDES) as an intervening variable in Letti District, Southwest Maluku Regency. The research assessed whether the competence, knowledge, and administrative ability of village officials can improve transparent and accountable fund management. This study employed a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique, involving all 42 apparatus members as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression and the Sobel test to examine direct and indirect effects. The findings show that village apparatus capacity has a positive effect on village fund management accountability. This indicates that human resource capacity can support responsible planning, implementation, reporting, and evaluation of village funds. However, the village financial system does not significantly affect village fund management accountability. In addition, SISKEUDES does not function as an intervening variable in the relationship between village apparatus capacity and accountability. These results imply that strengthening human resource capacity remains more decisive than system use.

Taxpayer compliance is a crucial factor in optimizing state revenue to support national development financing independently. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of taxpayer compliance in Indonesia by examining two main aspects: individual awareness and the effectiveness of the tax system. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review of various national journals from the last five years. The findings indicate that taxpayer compliance is influenced not only by internal factors such as knowledge, awareness, and tax morale but also by external factors such as tax service quality, system digitalization, and regulatory complexity. Tax reforms and the implementation of digital systems such as e-filing and e-billing have been proven to significantly increase taxpayer compliance through ease of access and reporting efficiency. However, real challenges remain, such as low community tax literacy and perceptions of unfairness regarding the management of tax funds by the government. Therefore, a strong synergy is needed between increasing public awareness through continuous education and improving the taxation system to create sustainable and optimal compliance. Improving transparency and accountability in the management of tax funds is a strategic step to strengthen public trust in tax authorities in Indonesia.

Modern higher education faces significant challenges regarding character crisis and moral degradation amidst mass digitalization. This study aims to analyze the mechanism of internalizing ethical values from Ibn Jama’ah's book Tadzkirat al-Sāmi‘ wa al-Mutakallim among STIT Riyadhussholihiin students as a response to contemporary moral issues]. The research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, combining field research and library research through content analysis, observation, and in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that the internalization process occurs systematically through stages of value transformation, transaction, and transinternalization. Key ethical values internalized include soul purification (tazkiyatun nafs), sincerity of intention, time management, and adab toward educators. The success of this internalization relies heavily on the synergy between students' intrinsic awareness, lecturers' role modeling (uswah hasanah), and a conducive campus ecosystem. The implication of this study is the provision of a practical strategy for Islamic higher education institutions to produce graduates who are khair al-barīyah—individuals who possess broad knowledge, fear of Allah, and leadership integrity.

Waste management is a major challenge in environmental conservation in Indonesia. One innovative approach that can be implemented is the use of informative waste signs as a visual educational medium for the public. Waste signs are information boards placed in strategic locations to provide knowledge about the types of waste, their environmental impacts, and the decomposition time of various materials. The Community Service Program (KKN) of Padang State University (UNP) has implemented this concept by creating educational boards containing information on waste decomposition time, ranging from waste that decomposes in 50–100 years to waste that does not decompose at all. This article aims to examine the concept, benefits, and effectiveness of waste signs as a community-based environmental education instrument. The methods used include field observation and a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study indicate that waste signs can increase public awareness of the importance of proper waste management. Thus, this medium has the potential to be a simple yet effective educational tool in supporting sustainable environmentally friendly behavior.

Patient safety culture is a critical component in healthcare organizations, reflecting the values, attitudes, competencies, and behavioral patterns that ensure safe patient care. This study aims to analyze the influence of knowledge and work environment on patient safety culture, with attitude serving as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach with an explanatory causal design was employed, involving 118 nurses as respondents selected through total population sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares. The findings reveal that both knowledge and work environment have a significant direct effect on patient safety culture. Additionally, knowledge and work environment significantly influence attitudes, while attitudes themselves have a significant effect on patient safety culture. However, attitude does not mediate the relationship between knowledge and patient safety culture, but it does mediate the influence of the work environment on patient safety culture. These results indicate that improving nurses’ knowledge and creating a supportive work environment are essential strategies for strengthening patient safety culture. The study also highlights the importance of fostering positive attitudes through organizational support and conducive working conditions. The implications suggest that hospital management should focus on continuous training programs, enhancing workplace conditions, and developing systems that promote positive behavioral attitudes among healthcare workers to improve overall patient safety outcomes.

One of the most important factors influencing how well students learn is their motivation to learn. Teachers must actively manage students' psychological well-being, as low motivation to learn can lead to less-than-ideal learning outcomes. In addition to imparting knowledge, teachers can also act as motivators and facilitators, fostering an emotionally and psychologically supportive learning environment. Therefore, particularly in madrasah environments that prioritize spiritual values, teachers' psychological management techniques are crucial for enhancing students' motivation to learn. The purpose of this study was to examine various psychological management techniques used by madrasah instructors to enhance students' willingness to learn. A qualitative research approach with a literature review approach was used as the methodology. Information was gathered from various sources, including books, academic journals, and related documents on learning motivation and educational psychology management. The findings revealed a number of useful tactics that educators can employ, such as developing strong emotional bonds with students, fostering a relaxed and supportive learning environment, expressing gratitude and positive reinforcement, recognizing each student's unique needs and characteristics, and incorporating spiritual values into the educational process. Waste management has become a critical environmental issue at both global and national levels due to increasing population and changing consumption patterns. In Indonesia, waste generation exceeds 60 million tons annually, with a significant portion consisting of plastic waste that requires hundreds of years to decompose. One of the main challenges in addressing this issue is the low level of public awareness and understanding regarding waste types and their decomposition time. This community service program conducted by students of Universitas Negeri Padang aims to improve environmental awareness through environmental education and community empowerment using an innovative visual medium in the form of waste decomposition time educational boards. The activity was implemented in Pasar Hilir Hamlet, Lumindai Village, using a participatory approach involving observation, socialization, board design, production, and installation. The results indicate that the program successfully enhanced community knowledge regarding the differences between organic and inorganic waste and their environmental impacts. The educational boards, placed in strategic locations near waste disposal areas, function as effective visual tools that continuously deliver information and reinforce environmentally responsible behavior. In addition, this program contributes to improving environmental cleanliness, strengthening community participation, and increasing environmental literacy. Therefore, the innovation of waste decomposition time educational boards serves not only as an informative medium but also as a sustainable educational tool to promote long-term behavioral change toward environmental awareness.

This literature study examines the process of self-regulation in transforming compliance with school rules originating from external pressure into behavioral regularity emerging from personal awareness, and its impact on the effectiveness of student learning outcomes. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis method, this study synthesizes relevant literature to build a theoretical framework on how self-regulation facilitates the internalization of disciplinary values. The findings reveal that self-regulation occurs through a series of interconnected stages including goal setting, strategy planning, self-monitoring, evaluation, and adjustment. The success of this process is determined by internal motivation, appropriate environmental support, positive direct experiences, and healthy emotional management. Strong self-regulation directly impacts learning outcome effectiveness through improved cognitive strategies, strengthened intrinsic motivation, enhanced time and environment management, and developed capacity to constructively cope with failure. Learning outcomes achieved through self-regulation processes are characterized by lasting understanding, knowledge transfer ability, and the formation of lifelong learning dispositions. Schools and teachers play strategic roles in strengthening self-regulation through curriculum design that supports autonomy, formative feedback, role modeling, and collaboration with parents. This study contributes theoretically by positioning self-regulation as the central mechanism bridging external influences and internal disposition formation.
