Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health problem in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated areas. Control efforts require accurate data and spatial analysis to understand disease distribution patterns. Geographic Information System (GIS) is an effective tool for visualizing case distribution and supporting surveillance and planning of control programs at the primary healthcare level. This study aims to describe the spatial distribution of Dengue cases based on medical record data and produce a geographic distribution map to support Dengue control efforts at the Puskesmas level. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with secondary data from medical records at Karangsari Health Center. The sample consisted of 255 DHF patients in 2025, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were processed through editing, geocoding patient addresses, and spatial analysis using QGIS software. The results showed 255 Dengue  cases in 2025 with fluctuating monthly trends, peaking in April and lowest in December. Case distribution was uneven and tended to cluster. High-risk areas accounted for 15.7%–21.2%, moderate-risk areas 9.8%–15.7%, and low-risk areas 7.1%–9.8%. Megu Cilik Village had the highest proportion of cases, while other villages were categorized as moderate and low risk. This pattern indicates that Dengue incidence is influenced by environmental conditions, vector density, host factors, rainfall, and Aedes aegypti presence. GIS provides clearer spatial visualization, helping identify high-risk areas and supporting targeted public health interventions.

Immigrant children often face challenges in adjusting and adapting to new environments. This study analyses the adaptation process of the main character, Unhei, as an Asian American immigrant child in Yangsook Choi’s picture book The Name Jar. This study examines the challenges Unhei faces in The Name Jar as she attempts to adapt and maintain her identity in a new environment in America, including language barriers, cultural differences, and social interactions with peers. This study employs a qualitative method using text and illustration analysis based on the adaptation theory proposed by Lamme et al. (2004), which consists of three stages: making transitions, making connections, and becoming American. The findings show that Unhei experiences various challenges in adapting to her new environment, including language barriers, cultural differences, and difficulties in social interaction. Unhei undergoes three stages of adaptation; making transitions, making connections, and becoming American. In the making transitions stage, Unhei experiences confusion, insecurity, and difficulty adjusting to a new cultural and social environment. In the making connections stage, she maintains connections with her Korean identity through her family, language, traditional objects, and Korean food while gradually building relationships in her new environment. In the becoming American stage, Unhei begins to adapt to American society and develops confidence in accepting her Korean identity without abandoning her cultural background. Furthermore, Unhei’s experience reflects that adaptation does not always occur smoothly, but involves a process of self-negotiation in dealing with cultural differences. The adaptation process is dynamic and influenced by both internal and external factors, and positive social interactions can help accelerate successful adaptation in a new environment.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of public policies in improving community welfare through the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) Program, the Subsidized Direct Cash Assistance (BLTS), and rice distribution managed by the State Logistics Agency (BULOG) in Cipete Village. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews with policy implementers and beneficiary communities, direct observation of the aid distribution process, and review of relevant official documents and data. The results show that the BLT and BLTS programs play a significant role in helping low-income communities meet their basic needs and increasing household purchasing power, especially during unstable economic conditions. Meanwhile, rice distribution by BULOG supports community food security by providing access to staple foods at prices lower than market rates. Despite the positive impacts, the implementation of these three programs still faces various obstacles, including inaccurate beneficiary targeting due to imprecise and rarely updated data, delays in the distribution process, lack of information transparency, and suboptimal inter-agency coordination. Based on these findings, improvements are required, such as developing an integrated and technology-based data system, increasing information disclosure to the public, strengthening monitoring and periodic evaluation systems, and enhancing cooperation among related institutions. Optimizing the implementation of these social assistance programs is expected to create sustainable, equitable, and targeted improvements in community welfare.

This study aims to analyze student time management and its relationship to academic productivity among students in the Economics Education Study Program, Jambi University, class of 2023. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with a number of students selected purposively. The results showed that most students were unable to manage their time optimally, as reflected in the habit of procrastinating on assignments, a lack of structured planning, and an imbalance between academic and non-academic activities. Many students tended to work on assignments only close to the deadline and found it difficult to maintain a consistent schedule. Conversely, students who had a more structured time plan, such as compiling daily to-do lists and setting priorities, demonstrated better academic productivity. They were able to complete assignments on time, produce better quality work, and were more active in the learning process and class discussions. This study confirms that effective time management plays a crucial role in improving student academic productivity, both in terms of the quality of work results and the timeliness of assignment completion. Therefore, more intensive efforts are needed to increase students' awareness and skills in time management, so they can achieve optimal learning outcomes, reduce stress levels, and face academic demands more efficiently. In this context, developing good time management strategies is essential to help students maximize their academic potential.

The Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance Program (BLT-DD) is a social protection instrument designed to help low-income families meet their basic needs. However, its implementation often faces challenges such as targeting inaccuracies, limited data, and varying administrative capacity at the village level. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of BLT-DD using William N. Dunn’s six policy evaluation criteria through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, covering effectiveness, efficiency, equity, responsiveness, conceptual alignment, and implementation. The findings indicate that BLT-DD is fairly effective in helping households maintain consumption, yet its effectiveness and adequacy remain constrained by the amount of assistance and the quality of data collection. Program efficiency and responsiveness are relatively good in villages with sufficient governance capacity, while equity emerges as the weakest aspect due to inaccurate data verification. Conceptually, BLT-DD aligns with the needs of low-income communities, but implementation accuracy still requires reinforcement. Furthermore, the study highlights the need for more systematic monitoring mechanisms, cross-sectoral data integration, and administrative training for village officials to enhance service quality. Overall, BLT-DD provides valuable support but requires improvements in governance and data systems to optimize outcomes, including regular evaluation strategies and refinement of supporting regulations.

In multilingual English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms, students often draw on multiple linguistic resources to support comprehension and interaction during collaborative learning activities. However, translanguaging practices within structured cooperative learning techniques, such as the Jigsaw method, remain underexplored in Indonesian higher education contexts. This study investigates how students employ translanguaging during Jigsaw-based collaborative activities and how they perceive its role in supporting their participation and understanding in an Indonesian EFL classroom. The study adopted a qualitative classroom-based case study design conducted at a pesantren-based university in East Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five fifth-semester students who participated in Jigsaw learning activities across different English-related courses. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns in students’ language practices and perceptions. The findings reveal that translanguaging played several important roles in facilitating collaborative learning. First, students used translanguaging to clarify complex concepts and ensure shared understanding during group discussions. Second, translanguaging functioned as peer scaffolding, enabling students to assist classmates by explaining ideas and translating unfamiliar terms. Third, the flexible use of multiple languages helped reduce anxiety and encouraged more active participation in group interaction. Finally, students expressed positive perceptions toward translanguaging, viewing it as a helpful strategy that supported comprehension while still maintaining the importance of English for academic communication. These findings suggest that integrating translanguaging into cooperative learning strategies such as the Jigsaw technique can create more inclusive and interactive learning environments in multilingual EFL classrooms.

Background: Ischemic stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability, especially in the elderly population. The impact of stroke is not only limited to physical activity, but also greatly affects the psychosocial condition of the sufferer. From a psychological aspect, stroke sufferers often experience various complex emotional disorders. Research tends to be deep sadness, anger, disappointment, and feelings of helplessness. One of the significant psychosocial problems experienced by stroke survivors is a decrease in low self-esteem. Methods: The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The data source in this study came from informants. This research was conducted at Royal Prima Hospital, Jambi City. Results: Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it was found that stroke patients experience various psychological changes due to physical limitations that arise after having a stroke. Family support is the most influential factor in the psychological condition of stroke patients.  Families who always accompany patients are able to help patients accept sick conditions and increase patient morale during the rehabilitation process. However, the results of the study show that psychological support from nurses is still not fully optimal. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, stroke patients experience psychological changes such as feeling embarrassed, insecure, feeling a burden on the family, withdrawing from the social environment, and losing their zest for life due to physical limitations. This condition shows that the stroke has an impact not only on the physical, but also on the psychological of the patient. Family support in the form of attention, motivation, affection, mentoring, and medical assistance is very helpful in increasing the patient's enthusiasm and confidence during rehabilitation. Nurses also play a role in the recovery process through health education, motivation, and treatment assistance. However, emotional support and therapeutic communication from nurses are still not optimal because services are more focused on medical measures.

Critically ill patients are individuals with unstable health conditions who require close monitoring of hemodynamic parameters. The high mortality rate among critically ill patients treated in intensive care units reaches 36.5% of 33,148 patients. Hemodynamic instability in critically ill patients can be influenced by underlying diseases, medical interventions, as well as physical and psychological stress responses during treatment. Therefore, in addition to pharmacological therapy, non-pharmacological interventions such as Asmaul Husna dhikr therapy are needed, as they can provide a relaxation effect and help stabilize hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients. To determine the outcomes of the implementation of Asmaul Husna dhikr therapy. This study used a descriptive case study method involving two critically ill patients with unstable non-invasive hemodynamic parameters. Changes in non-invasive hemodynamic parameters were observed in both respondents after the implementation of Asmaul Husna dhikr therapy. In respondent 1, the hemodynamic status was initially categorized as increased and became stable after the intervention. Similarly, in respondent 2, the hemodynamic status changed from increased before the intervention to stable after the intervention. The implementation of Asmaul Husna dhikr therapy can be used as a complementary therapy to help stabilize hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients.
