All children are born in different environments and home environments. But one thing is certain: children need love and guidance to help them thrive in every aspect of their lives. Currently, there are many differences in children's family backgrounds that influence their socialization behavior. The reason behind this is because there are harmonious families, there are also broken homes. In the family, parents in particular play an important role in the development of a child's personality, especially in the child's daily behavior. The aim of this research is to describe children's social behavior when viewed from differences in family background. The research method used in this article is qualitative research, namely descriptive research in the form of describing/exposing the behavioral symptoms of people being observed. Researchers are the main instrument of research carried out at MI Al Awal Palembang for comprehensive data collection. This panel research was carried out in class IV at MI Al Awwal Palembang. The research results show that there are many differences in the social behavior of each child when viewed from family background. We identified two different family backgrounds, namely a harmonious family and a broken home family. So the solution that can be implemented in developing the character and social behavior of children who come from broken homes is that teachers must guide and educate children so that they can change their character from bad habits to good ones, they must try to understand children's feelings and provide advice and considerations as best as possible. Teachers must also try to bring children closer to their friends. The role of peers is no less important, because one of their roles is to provide a source of information and comparison about the world outside the family environment

Parental child abuse leading to mental illness is a form of physical, emotional, violence experienced by a child from a parent or guardian that adversely affects the child's mental well-being. It can include various forms of behaviors that degrade, humiliate, or emotionally or physically harm the child. Violence against a child is also one of the most dominant cases and is found anytime, anywhere, almost everywhere in all provinces in Indonesia. If this violence occurs against a child, it will have a negative impact on the child. The child will experience a sense of trauma, excessive fear, closure, silence, mental disorders, passive communication, and even physical disability if the violence is in the form of physical violence. This is very ironic, considering that children who are the next generation of the nation, should get parental love, guidance and loving education so that this study aims to prevent physical violence against children and the need for countermeasures, both from the government and from the family or parents of children. This study aims to identify the impact of parental violence on children's mental state and explore coping strategies. The importance of preventing physical and emotional violence against children requires collaborative efforts between the government, families, and communities. Effective coping strategies include social support from the surrounding environment, psychological interventions such as counseling and therapy, and education and training on positive parenting. Strict and comprehensive child protection policies are also necessary to create a safe and supportive environment for children's development. By raising awareness of the negative impact of violence and implementing appropriate coping strategies, it is hoped that children can grow and develop optimally, free from violence, and ready to become the next generation of physically and mentally healthy nations.

The level of family welfare is the key to meeting children's nutritional needs. Parents need to identify nutritional problems experienced by children. Specifically, we want to know how family income affects children's caloric intake. The study used a cross-sectional analytical design. A total of seventy-four youngsters were sampled using the Simple Random Sampling approach. We used a questionnaire to collect data on family welfare levels, measured height and weight to calculate body mass index (BMI), and then ran the numbers through the Chi-Square Test. Among the families surveyed, 43.2% fell into the second group of wealthy, while 51.4% were classified as having normal nutrition. There is a statistically significant correlation between family welfare and children's nutritional status (p = 0.023, r(s) = 0.016, according to the Chi-Square test). The statistics indicate that children's nutritional status is adequate, although there is room for improvement. A child's nutritional condition may be affected by their family's degree of welfare. A child's dietary requirements are better met in families with greater levels of welfare. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in young children that has serious implications for physical growth, cognitive development, and individual productivity. This condition is caused by a range of complex factors, including poor maternal nutrition and environmental conditions affecting quality of nutrition. The first 1,000 days of life represent a critical period for stunting prevention, as children's brain growth and development are particularly rapid during this time. Socialization regarding the importance of balanced nutrition and Family Planning programs is a strategic step to support optimal child growth and prevent stunting. This program begins with obtaining permits and coordinating with the Head of Kemiri Village to identify appropriate targets, as well as involving local neighborhood association in surveying facilities and infrastructure. The initiative aims to raise awareness in Kemiri Village about stunting and its prevention, and to educate the importance of balanced nutrition for supporting optimal child growth. Through socialization and counseling, it is hoped that the community will be able to recognize signs of stunting and take appropriate actions. This aligns with the village’s sustainable development goals (SDGs), particularly in achieving the target of a hunger-free village. By reducing the prevalence of stunting, the quality of life for the community can be significantly improved.

Talking about gender has certainly become a very common discussion, especially in a patriarchal country. The purpose of this study is to obtain an in-depth description of the role of the family in women's education in gender equality and social development of Muslim communities in Pamekasan. The researcher used a qualitative-narrative method with a liberal feminist analysis. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation in Muslim communities or Muslim families in the Pamekasan area. The researcher used a qualitative-narrative method with the theory of Liberal Feminism by Mary Wollstonecraft. The results of this study show how the role of the family in shaping gender understanding is very crucial, it can be a driving force or even an incredibly dangerous obstacle. Education is certainly the basis for providing a space for open reasoning for women to live in the public sphere. In the Pamekasan community, Madura, informants found that the patriarchal culture within the family environment still holds strong, considering women as second-class citizens. Therefore, the informants faced the first challenge from their family environment in gaining access to education. The informants found that they were underestimated and disrespected as women, not just because they were born as women but also because they were disrespected because they could not do anything but were guarded like women living in a family cage.
