This study analyzes the health financing system in Indonesia from a human rights perspective, particularly after the enactment of Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health and Minister of Health Regulation No. 18 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of One Data in the Health Sector. These two regulations reflect the state's commitment to strengthening the national health system based on the principles of justice, transparency, and the fulfillment of citizens' constitutional rights to quality, equitable, and sustainable health services. Through a qualitative approach using document analysis of relevant regulations, policies, and academic literature, this study identifies a paradigmatic transformation in health financing, from merely a fiscal mechanism to a strategic instrument for guaranteeing human rights in the health sector. The results show that despite normative and institutional progress, the implementation of the health financing system still faces several challenges. These challenges include aspects of the community's economic accessibility to health services, limitations in transparency and accountability in fund management, and inequality in the distribution of financial resources between regions. In addition, funding sustainability and dependence on certain funding sources are also issues that need to be addressed. In response to these challenges, this study recommends three main strategies: (1) strengthening the integration and interoperability of financing data through the One Health Data system, (2) diversifying funding sources by involving the private sector, philanthropy, and other innovative schemes, and (3) reorienting health budget allocations to favor vulnerable groups and underdeveloped regions. These efforts are expected to encourage the realization of a fair, transparent, and sustainable health financing system within the framework of fulfilling human rights in Indonesia.

This research examines the legal issues surrounding the Environmental Impact Assessment (Analisis Mengenai Dampak Lingkungan—AMDAL) as a prerequisite for obtaining business or activity permits in Indonesia. The study adopts a normative juridical approach, analyzing legal theories, concepts, and principles relevant to environmental law. The enactment of Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation introduced significant amendments, deletions, and new provisions to Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management (PPLH Law). One of the most substantial changes is the removal of the explicit obligation to obtain an environmental permit, replacing it with a requirement for environmental approval issued by the central government. This environmental approval consists of the Statement of Environmental Management Capability (Pernyataan Kesanggupan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup—PKLHP) and the Environmental Feasibility Decision (Keputusan Kelayakan Lingkungan Hidup—KKLH), both intended to ensure that businesses and activities comply with environmental standards before commencing operations. However, the revision also affects public participation in the AMDAL process. Under the Job Creation Law, opportunities for environmental organizations and local communities to be involved in the preparation, review, and decision-making stages of AMDAL have been significantly reduced. This shift raises concerns about transparency, accountability, and the integration of environmental, social, and economic considerations in decision-making. In the context of sustainable development, environmental permits or approvals should not only serve as administrative formalities but also as instruments to safeguard environmental quality and uphold public interest. Public participation plays a critical role in ensuring that AMDAL processes reflect diverse perspectives, promote environmental justice, and support the long-term goals of environmental protection. The study concludes that while the Job Creation Law aims to streamline licensing and promote investment, its impact on public involvement in environmental governance poses risks to the integrity of environmental protection frameworks in Indonesia.

This study aims to understand how Islamic values are represented in the television program Cahaya Tauhid, broadcast on MNCTV. This program, a religious program, aims to convey moral messages and Islamic teachings through stories related to everyday life. A qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm was used to explore the representation of Islamic values in this program as a result of social construction influenced by media ideology, the interests involved, and audience responses. Data collected came from non-participant observation of 27 episodes of Cahaya Tauhid broadcast on the MNCTV YouTube Channel. The results show that this program contains Islamic messages that cover five main dimensions: aqidah (faith), worship, morals, social and muamalah (social behavior), and Ramadan spirituality. The most dominant Islamic values in this program are tauhid (monotheism), worship, morals, social and humanitarian, and tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul). The values of worship and tauhid, in particular, appear consistently in almost every episode and are the main focus of this program. These messages are delivered in a simple yet meaningful manner, making them easily understood by the audience. This program successfully represents Islamic teachings in the context of everyday life and shapes the audience's perspective on Islam. Thus, Cahaya Tauhid can be considered an example of an effective television da'wah program in building Islamic understanding through mass media, while also serving as a means of education and dissemination of Islamic values. Furthermore, this study also found that Cahaya Tauhid uses a narrative approach that combines Islamic values with real-life stories, making it more relevant and engaging for the audience. Thus, Cahaya Tauhid can be considered an example of an effective television da'wah program in building Islamic understanding through mass media, while also serving as a means of education and dissemination of Islamic values.

Mathematics is a universal science that underlies the development of modern science and technology, and has an important role in the development of human thinking. Mathematics is a subject that is based on logical, rational, critical, and systematic thinking patterns. Religion and rationality are two perspectives that have a strong influence. Humans view religious values and rational values as different entities, causing a dichotomy paradigm, especially in the realm of education. In the perspective of the epistemology of science in Islam, Islam and science are complementary and interdependent entities. The mathematical approach used here does not mean that Islamic values are low, but only to increase the belief of Muslims that all knowledge is valuable and can lead to true goodness and increase faith and closeness to Allah SWT.To examine how Islamic values are applied in mathematics learning, To identify and develop effective strategies or methods in integrating Islamic values in mathematics learning materials, To measure the extent of the application of Islamic values in mathematics learning. This study uses a qualitative approach, while the type of research used by the researcher is descriptive research.Mathematics as a logical and systematic science, has a meeting point with Islamic teachings that emphasize truth, justice, and balance. For example, the concept of monotheism can be associated with the order of the universe expressed through mathematical formulas, fostering a sense of gratitude and obedience. The implementation of Islamic values that are rahmatan lil 'alamin (blessing for all nature) in mathematics learning, especially to form honest and fair characters in students.

The implementation of digitalization in the healthcare sector through the Integrated Referral sistem (Sistem Informasi Rujukan Terintegrasi/SISRUTE) offers significant opportunities to expand access and improve the quality of healthcare services, especially in remote and underserved areas of Indonesia. This paper aims to analyze the challenges of implementing SISRUTE from a legal perspective, focusing on the principle of equitable healthcare access. The study uses a normative juridical approach combined with literature analysis, examining national regulations, including Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, Government Regulation No. 47 of 2021 on Hospital Administration, and supporting ministerial policies. The research identifies several barriers that hinder the effectiveness of SISRUTE implementation, such as uneven distribution of digital infrastructure, limited internet connectivity, lack of adequately trained healthcare personnel, and the absence of supporting local regulations that align with national policy frameworks. These challenges create disparities in the utilization of SISRUTE, particularly in rural and remote areas, undermining the constitutional mandate for equal access to health services. From a legal standpoint, the principle of equity in healthcare has yet to be fully realized through SISRUTE due to these systemic gaps. The study concludes that strategic efforts are needed to improve intergovernmental coordination, harmonize health and digital regulations, strengthen healthcare workers' digital competencies, and invest in robust infrastructure development. Only through an integrated legal, technological, and human resource approach can SISRUTE fulfill its intended function in supporting a fair, inclusive, and effective healthcare referral system nationwide. This paper contributes to ongoing discourse on legal reforms for digital health equity in Indonesia.

This study examines social ecology from the perspective of hadith science (‘ulum al-hadith), with the aim of exploring the environmental and social values contained in prophetic hadiths. The main focus of this study is the methodological analysis of hadiths related to ecological issues, such as environmental conservation, social justice, and natural resource management. This study uses a hadith criticism approach, namely by examining aspects of authenticity through analysis of sanad (chain of narrators), criticism of matan (the content of the hadith), and contextual and semantic interpretation of hadiths relevant to environmental themes. In this study, the hadiths analyzed were selectively selected based on their relevance to the principles of Islamic social ecology. The analysis process was carried out thoroughly to assess the validity of the hadith and understand its meaning and normative objectives. This approach integrates classical evaluation methods of hadith science with a contemporary ethical perspective, resulting in a comprehensive framework for formulating hadith-based environmental ethics. Research findings indicate that many authentic hadiths contain strong social ecological principles, such as the concept of caliphate (human leadership over the earth), mizan (balance), and distributive justice. These values emphasize the importance of human responsibility in preserving nature and creating harmony between humans and their environment. These hadiths also demonstrate the close relationship between the spiritual dimension and socio-ecological responsibility. This study makes a significant contribution to the development of hadith-based Islamic environmental jurisprudence. With a methodological and academic approach, this study enriches understanding of Islamic ecological ethics and opens up opportunities for integrating religious values into just and sustainable environmental management.

This study examines how Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance influences financial distress, incorporating cost of debt as a moderating variable. Financial distress is proxied by the Interest Coverage Ratio (ICR), reflecting a firm’s capacity to satisfy interest payments. The empirical sample consists of 655 firm-year observations of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2023. Panel regression with fixed effects and heteroskedasticity-consistent estimation (Panel EGLS with cross-section weights) is employed to analyze the data. Results indicate that ESG performance exerts a positive and statistically significant effect on ICR (β = 0.1189; p < 0.01), implying that firms with robust ESG practices are better able to service their debt and thus face lower financial distress. Additionally, the interaction term between ESG and cost of debt yields a negative and significant coefficient (β = −0.9714; p < 0.05), suggesting that elevated financing costs attenuate the beneficial impact of ESG on financial resilience. These findings are consistent with stakeholder theory, which advocates that proactive engagement with stakeholders enhances corporate stability, and trade-off theory, which underscores the necessity of balancing debt advantages against financial risk. This research contributes to the literature by demonstrating the conditional effect of cost of debt on the ESG–financial distress nexus. From a managerial perspective, the study underscores the importance of integrating ESG initiatives with cost-efficient funding strategies to mitigate financial distress risk and foster sustainable, long-term value creation.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of election-level simplification from a legal perspective to overcome the waste of election resources and costs. Elections in Indonesia have faced various challenges, including waste in excessive paper usage, overlapping stages, and inefficient budget allocations. These inefficiencies not only burden the General Elections Commission (KPU) but also affect the effectiveness and transparency of the democratic process. Simplification of election levels is expected to be an effective solution to reduce the administrative and material burdens that hinder the implementation of elections. By streamlining the structure and reducing redundant stages, election organizers can focus more on quality, security, and public participation. This study uses a normative juridical approach by analyzing relevant laws and regulations, such as Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections, as well as various policies and proposals related to election-level simplification. The analysis also includes legal principles such as efficiency, effectiveness, and legal certainty. Furthermore, the study examines how other democratic countries manage election logistics efficiently to draw lessons that can be contextualized in Indonesia. The results of this study are expected to provide concrete policy recommendations that support the implementation of simplified election systems. These recommendations are aimed at optimizing the election process by minimizing waste, both in terms of budget and the use of natural and human resources, while maintaining the integrity and legitimacy of the democratic process. Thus, this study contributes to the discourse on election reform and democratic strengthening in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the legal responsibilities of e-sports teams regarding the fulfillment of wage rights and the forms of legal protection for professional athletes based on applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia. As the e-sports industry develops as part of the digital and creative economy, the issue of employment relations between e-sports teams (as employers) and athletes (as professional workers) has become an important issue that requires in-depth study from a legal perspective. This study uses a normative legal method with a statutory approach. This approach is used to analyze positive legal norms that regulate the rights and obligations in employment relations and the legal protection mechanisms available to e-sports athletes. This research is prescriptive in nature, meaning it not only describes the applicable legal conditions but also provides recommendations for improvements. The legal material collection technique was carried out through a literature study that included relevant laws and regulations, books, scientific journals, and court decisions. The results of the study indicate that e-sports teams, which can legally be in the form of business entities or corporations, have a legal obligation to pay athletes' wage rights in a timely and full manner as stated in the employment contract. If there are delays or deductions in wages without legal basis, e-sports teams can be held liable under civil, criminal, and administrative laws. Furthermore, legal protection for athletes as workers still faces various challenges, particularly related to weak oversight by relevant authorities and low levels of legal awareness among both team management and athletes themselves. To address this, concrete steps are needed in the form of strengthening law enforcement mechanisms, increasing legal education for e-sports industry players, and developing labor protection policies specifically for e-sports. This way, the rights of professional athletes can be guaranteed fairly and proportionally.

This study aims to analyze the potential utilization of empty space on the second floor of the domestic terminal of Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (ZAM) Lombok to increase revenue from the non-aeronautical sector. The background of this study is based on the importance of optimizing airport assets to support long-term financial sustainability. This is crucial considering that the aeronautical sector is highly dependent on fluctuating flight traffic. Therefore, the development of the non-aerospace sector is a strategic alternative that needs to be seriously addressed. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through direct observation on site, interviews with airport management, and documentation studies. The results of the observation indicate that there is an empty space on the second floor of the terminal, specifically between the waiting room and a row of commercial tenants, which has not been optimally utilized. This area is considered to have a strategic position and quite high passenger traffic, so it has the potential to be developed into a new commercial facility. One of the proposed developments is a photobox service business unit with a local Lombok cultural theme. This concept is considered interesting because it combines digital technology with elements of cultural tourism promotion, in line with the trend of tourist needs for documentation and unique experiences. A feasibility analysis was conducted using the Business Model Canvas approach and the 7P marketing strategy (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence). The results showed that this idea is feasible from both an operational and marketing perspective. The study concluded that developing a photo booth business in an empty airport area has the potential to become a new, stable, efficient, and market-relevant source of revenue. Recommendations are given to airport management to immediately realize the utilization of this area to support the airport's role as a regional economic and tourism hub.

Freedom of religion is a fundamental and internationally recognized human right, serving as an important foundation in creating a just society. This article explores religious freedom through the perspective of the encyclical Pacem in Terris issued by Pope John XXIII in 1963. In the document, the Pope affirms the right of every individual to worship God according to his conscience, both in private and in public. Although this freedom is guaranteed by the Indonesian constitution, its implementation often faces serious challenges such as intolerance and discrimination against minority groups. This article aims to examine the concept of religious freedom in the context of Pacem in Terris , focusing on articles 14, 35 and 36 of the encyclical, and its relevance to the current socio-political situation. Through an in-depth textual analysis of the encyclical and related literature, this article shows that the teachings of Pope John XXIII can serve as a guideline for strengthening tolerance and mutual respect among religious communities in Indonesia. Thus, this study is expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of religious freedom as part of human rights and the role of the state in ensuring its implementation.

The betel nut (Areca catechu) is a tropical plant that thrives in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. This plant has long been known in traditional medicine and local culture for its content of various beneficial active compounds. One form of its utilization that has rarely been scientifically studied is fresh betel nut juice. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a preliminary assessment of the characteristics of fresh betel nut juice, particularly from a physical, chemical, and microbiological perspective. The juice production process is carried out simply by squeezing fresh betel nuts without the addition of chemicals or heating. Based on initial observations, the betel nut juice exhibits a distinctive reddish-brown color and a sharp, pungent aroma. This color and aroma likely originate from the phenolic and alkaloid compounds naturally present in the betel nut. pH measurements indicate that the juice has a fairly high acidity level, which can affect the stability of microorganisms within it. Qualitative tests of the chemical composition of the betel nut juice indicate the presence of bioactive compounds, particularly tannins and alkaloids. Tannins are known to have antimicrobial activity, while alkaloids act as physiologically active compounds that can affect the nervous system. However, the presence of these compounds does not completely inhibit the growth of microorganisms. Through simple isolation of microorganisms from the fresh juice, bacteria from the genus Lactobacillus spp., which are typically associated with natural fermentation processes, were found. The presence of these bacteria indicates that fresh areca nut juice can be a potential growth medium for certain microorganisms, particularly lactic acid bacteria. This finding opens up opportunities for further research into the use of areca nut juice as a natural fermentation agent that may have functional and probiotic value.

This conceptual study examines how Islamic Da’wah institutions can be strategically transformed to effectively contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 16 on peace, justice, and strong institutions. Grounded in strategic management principles and the ethical foundations of Islamic thought, especially maqashid shariah (the objectives of Islamic law), the paper presents a model that integrates religious values into institutional planning and reform. By conducting a thorough review of existing literature, the study identifies and synthesizes essential components for transformation, including visionary leadership that prioritizes long-term impact, ethical governance rooted in transparency and accountability, and inclusive education that is both accessible and values-based. The analysis reveals that aligning Islamic ethical frameworks with global development goals can enhance the operational effectiveness and social relevance of Da’wah institutions. Moreover, the incorporation of maqashid shariah in organizational strategy promotes a holistic approach to development that balances spiritual and material objectives. The study argues that by embracing strategic planning processes that reflect both Islamic values and modern development practices, Da’wah institutions can play a crucial role in advancing educational equity and institutional integrity. This not only strengthens the legitimacy and sustainability of these organizations but also positions them as key partners in the broader development agenda. Ultimately, the paper contributes to ongoing discussions about the role of faith-based organizations in global development by offering a conceptual framework that bridges Islamic governance principles with the pursuit of sustainable development outcomes, encouraging a more integrated and ethically grounded approach to institutional reform.

This study examines the regulation of adultery and cohabitation (living together without marriage) from the perspective of Islamic law and Indonesian positive law, especially after the enactment of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP). In Islamic law, adultery is a hudud crime that has strict and permanent sanctions (qat'i). Islamic law considers adultery as an act that damages morality, honor, and lineage, and provides severe punishment for the perpetrators. The purpose of implementing this punishment is to maintain social integrity and protect the family as the smallest unit in society. Cohabitation, which is considered an illegitimate relationship according to Islamic law, is seen as a form of adultery that is not tolerated both socially and legally. Therefore, this act is not only considered a violation of religious norms, but also a threat to the desired social order in Islam. Meanwhile, in the context of Indonesian positive law, the 2023 Criminal Code expands the formulation of the crime of adultery and explicitly regulates cohabitation as a criminal offense. Based on this provision, adultery and cohabitation can be prosecuted, although they are still classified as absolute complaint offenses, meaning that these acts can only be prosecuted if there is a report from an interested party. This shows that although there are differences in law enforcement between Islamic law and positive law, both share a common goal: to protect morality and public order. The approach used in this study is normative juridical with a qualitative analysis method of Islamic legal norms and national statutory provisions. This study aims to compare the perspectives of the two legal systems on adultery and cohabitation, and to find common ground between the two.
