Management Information Systems (MIS) are an integral part of modern enterprise operations. This article discusses the application of SIM in improving company efficiency. This research uses a qualitative approach to analyze how SIM can optimize management processes, decision making, and operational control. The results show that effective implementation of SIM can help companies to increase productivity, reduce operational costs, and improve customer satisfaction. In addition, this article also discusses the challenges and barriers that may be faced in SIM implementation as well as strategies to overcome them.

Indomaret, Indonesia's largest mini market, uses a management information system (SIM) for its sales. When it comes to utilizing SIM, Indomaret employs a variety of methods, including the acquisition of business and personnel in the ritel sector. The process of using the operational Indomaret SIM and implementing it for business purposes is an important aspect. Because of this, the purpose of this article is to investigate a variety of SIM Indomaret features. In order to address a variety of Indomaret functions, including inventories, logistics, SDM, keuangan, and penjualan management, the SIM was developed with the help of a large and persistent Estonian market. The SIM Indomaret system includes hardware such as a hard drive, a memory stick, a database, and software such as a computer and a telephone.

This research is conducted to examine the phenomenon of the proliferation of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the form of “angkringan” businesses in Gresik, with a primary focus on the technical operational aspects in a feasibility study. The rapid growth of angkringan MSMEs in this region raises questions about the factors influencing the sustainability and success of these businesses. The aim of this research is to analyze various technical operational components, including operational management, efficiency, and business strategies applied by angkringan entrepreneurs. By employing qualitative and quantitative methods, this study is expected to provide in-depth insights into effective operational practices and offer strategic recommendations to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of angkringan MSMEs in Gresik. The findings from this research are anticipated to serve as a valuable reference for business practitioners, policymakers, and academics interested in the development of culinary sector MSMEs.

Employee attendance information systems are an important component in human resource (HR) management in various organizations. Auditing attendance system information is necessary to ensure that the system runs effectively and efficiently, and complies with applicable regulations and policies. COBIT 4.1 (Control Objectives for Information and Associated Technologies) is an audit framework that can be used to deploy attendance information systems. This research aims to conduct an audit of the employee attendance information system using the COBIT 4 framework. This audit was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of internal control, compliance with regulations, and operational efficiency of the employee attendance information system at XYZ company. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative, including interviews, observation and testing. The research results show that in general the employee attendance information system has been running well, but there are still several findings related to control and compliance weaknesses that need to be improved. The recommendations provided include improving access rights management, monitoring activities, as well as improving procedures and documentation.  

Management Information Systems (MIS) have become a crucial component in enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in various educational institutions, including elementary, middle, and high schools. This article examines the implementation of MIS in schools, with a case study at SMP Negeri 11 Lhokseumawe. The implementation process, including planning, organizing, execution, and evaluation, is detailed comprehensively. The findings indicate that MIS can improve data management accuracy, expedite administrative processes, and increase parental involvement in the educational process. Despite facing challenges such as human resource readiness and infrastructure, proper support and systematic approaches enable schools to maximize the benefits of MIS. This article concludes that MIS is an effective tool in supporting school management and improving the quality of education.

The aim of this research is to identify and explain the role of internal audit in the allocation of BOS funds. This research uses a qualitative approach with library or library research. Audit is an operational process carried out by a qualified and independent auditor, whose aim is to ensure compliance with the conditions relating to the operation of an economic entity and its standards. Auditors carry out examinations by collecting and presenting evidence systematically, analytically, critically and accurately to provide opinions or conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders. BOS Fund Management Audits are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the audit standards of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment (PER/05/M.PAN-03/2008 APIP-AUDIT-STANDARDS). Several requirements must be met before an audit can be performed.(Comparative et al., 2023). This research aims to understand the accounting information system for cash receipts and cash disbursements in school operational assistance funds (BOS). The variables used in this research are Accounting Information Systems, Cash Receipts and Cash Disbursements. The method used in this research is a qualitative method by utilizing data collection techniques then carrying out observations, interviews, documentation, triangulation and literature study. The data used in this research is primary data using observations and interviews with the Nurul Ikhwan Selabintana Sukabumi Islamic Vocational School.(Asep & Wr, 2021)    

In the current era of rapidly developing globalization, rapid technological changes, shifting consumer preferences, and global market dynamics encourage Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to adapt, innovate, and strategize intelligently. This article discusses a business strategy designed for SME XYZ, a company operating in the food and beverage sector, especially in the coffee shop industry which is growing rapidly in Indonesia. This research uses the PESTLE and SWOT approaches to analyze the internal and external conditions of UKM XYZ. The analysis results show that SME XYZ has internal strengths such as high-quality coffee, excellent service, and a competent management team, as well as external opportunities such as Gen Z lifestyle trends and online ordering. However, challenges such as high operational costs and inflation need to be addressed. Recommended strategies include strengthening branding, increasing operational efficiency, and presenting innovative menus. With the right strategy, SME XYZ has the potential to become a major player in the food and beverage industry.

This research presents the development of an e-commerce application aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of Khadijah Konveksi, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in the garment industry. The application, developed using Android, Java, and Kotlin, provides features for order management, real-time tracking, and online payment, significantly improving customer experience and operational workflow. Initial feedback indicates a high level of customer satisfaction and a notable increase in operational efficiency. The project also highlights the collaborative efforts between students, faculty, and industry professionals, demonstrating the impact of academic-industry partnerships in driving technological advancements for SMEs  

Hospitals as one of the health service providers cannot be separated from the lives of people who always want to maintain their health. Every hospital must maintain cleanliness because it is a place used as a health facility. Hospital is a type of health service business to the community which certainly produces a lot of waste including hazardous waste in its operational activities. Just like settlements, hospitals also produce a lot of waste and perhaps more. It is difficult to manage B3 waste on their own, so not a few hospitals use B3 waste management services to other parties who of course still have to have a permit from the relevant agency to be able to manage B3 waste. Third parties in managing hospital B3 waste still have responsibilities to the hospital. Government efforts in providing environmental protection and management, and preventing environmental pollution are by providing administrative sanctions, criminal sanctions, civil sanctions. With the sanctions given to people or parties who commit environmental pollution, it is hoped that it can provide a deterrent effect to be better and wiser in managing the waste from their activities in order to preserve the environment and free the environment from pollution.

The urgency of this research lies in understanding the critical role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the rapidly evolving landscape of Industry 4.0. As businesses strive to remain competitive, AI's integration into industrial processes has become essential. The primary aim of this study is to examine how AI drives innovation and efficiency within Industry 4.0. Using a literature review methodology, this research synthesizes findings from existing studies to provide a comprehensive overview of AI's impact on various business sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management. The results reveal that AI significantly enhances operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and decision-making capabilities. Moreover, the study identifies key challenges in AI implementation, such as data privacy and the need for skilled workforce, while also highlighting the vast opportunities for future advancements. This research underscores the importance of AI in achieving higher levels of customization, quality, and competitiveness, paving the way for sustainable business growth in the digital era

The activities of Al Hikmah Mosque Perumdim Jubung are not running optimally due to manual and traditional processes. Management of prayer schedules, event announcements, and donation tracking is still conventional, leading to inefficiency and lack of transparency. Congregants often struggle to get up-to-date information, limiting their participation in events. Additionally, the mosque's manual financial management often lacks transparency, causing distrust. This highlights the need for a modern, efficient information system to support mosque operations and improve services. E-MOSQUE aims to streamline mosque functions, including prayer schedules, event management, donation tracking, and announcements. By developing a centralized, mobile-accessible platform, congregants can easily access information and participate in activities anytime, anywhere. E-MOSQUE is expected to enhance communication, transparency, and management efficiency, facilitate access for all members, and strengthen community engagement. The outcome will be improved operational efficiency, financial transparency, and better community involvement, contributing to the mosque's modernization and the community's welfare.

For companies across industries, the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and management information systems (MIS) offers great potential for digital transformation. This publication explains the benefits and drawbacks of integrating IoT into MIS and how this technology can improve customer experience of products and services, in-depth data analysis, operational efficiency, energy efficiency, and creativity. Implementing IoT in SIM is not without challenges, because there are issues such as data security, interoperability, infrastructure availability, advanced data management, data protection and ethics. With a clear understanding of these pros and cons, companies can take the necessary steps to take full advantage of IoT integration in MIS while maintaining operational security, data protection, and Masu requirements.

Abstract :The financial performance of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) for the period 2020-2022 needs to be evaluated to determine the effectiveness of management in managing the company's finances. The purpose of the study is to measure the financial performance of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) through financial statement analysis over the period 2020, 2021, and 2022. This study uses various types of financial ratios such as Liquidity, Solvency, and Profitability. The research method used is qualitative with a quantitative approach. The data used is sourced from the financial statements of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022, obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis results show that the company has good liquidity because current assets are higher than current liabilities. The solvency ratio level is quite healthy. Although the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) indicates high debt, the low Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) values show that most of the assets are still funded by equity. The company's profitability level is less healthy. Although the Gross Profit Margin (GPM) shows positive results and is higher than the industry average, other ratios such as Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) indicate that the company has significant room for improvement in operational efficiency, cost management, and optimization of asset and equity utilization. The Thrifting Shop has become one of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that have experienced significant development over the past few years. The current era of globalization has led to consumer behavior influencing the lives of the general public. This is influenced by changing habits and lifestyles. This behavior requires a larger budget, as it is no longer just about meeting needs but also about satisfying desires. Currently, there is a trend towards second-hand clothing (fashion thrift) to meet the increasing demand of consumers, considering that times have changed, buying second-hand clothes has become a trend and a lifestyle that is growing rapidly in Indonesia. Therefore, many new business owners are trying to venture into this thrift business through online platforms like live e-commerce. When discussing the sustainability of a business, it is undeniable that it will face risks. These risks are not only caused by internal factors but also by external factors that force us to be more vigilant in facing these risks. These risks do not only appear in large businesses but also in small-scale businesses like SMEs. This study aims to identify operational risks, their causes, and their impact on business activities and find solutions to address operational risks that occur. The research object is Yodshi Fashion, which is one of the online thrift stores in Cirebon. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through online observation and interviews with business owners, as well as an analysis based on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). The research results show that there are operational risks, such as the mismatch between the quality of clothes and stock with customer demand, fluctuations in live traffic on e-commerce, high administrative costs on e-commerce, intense competition among online thrift sellers, a large number of PHP customers during live sales, and the cancellation of COD orders by customers. These risks include internal and external operational risks with a high risk level that occurs in Yodshi Fashion Cirebon. These operational risks can affect the quality of products presented and disrupt the service process for customers. Risk management is crucial for operational activities to minimize and prevent the possibility of risks that can cause losses for Yodshi Fashion Cirebon.

This study aims to investigate the identification, assessment, and control of operational risks in the travel industry, with a focus on PT Yuk Kita Tour. Direct observation and interview methods are used to identify the risks faced by the company. Risk assessment is conducted by considering the likelihood of occurrence and its impact on the company's operations, followed by appropriate mitigation strategies. The analysis results show that risks such as online booking system disruptions, lack of staff training, currency exchange rate fluctuations, regulatory changes, natural disasters, disease outbreaks, transportation delays, and terrorism threats affect operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.To control these risks, PT Yuk Kita Tour implements a comprehensive mitigation strategy, including improved cybersecurity systems, staff training programs, currency hedging strategies, active regulatory monitoring, travel insurance, strict health policies, cooperation with transportation operators, and clear security information to customers. The implementation of these risk control strategies has had a positive impact on the company's performance, with year-on-year increases in revenue and customer satisfaction. This study provides insights into the importance of operational risk management in the travel industry and demonstrates that a proactive approach to risk identification, assessment, and control is possible. The practical implication of this study is the importance of continuously monitoring existing risks, adapting control strategies, and involving stakeholders in risk management to ensure sustainable business continuity and superior customer service in a dynamic business environment.

This research aims to analyze the operational risks faced by Rumah Makan Ondo Batak Grill, a famous culinary business on Jl. Weaving Factory No. 45, Sei Putih Tengah, Medan Petisah District, Medan City, North Sumatra. The qualitative method used in this research is data collection techniques by conducting direct observations and interviews with the owner of the Ondo Grill Batak Restaurant. The research results reveal that there are several significant operational risks, including hygiene and food safety risks, equipment damage risks, employee absenteeism risks, and customer number risks. To manage possible risks, Ondo Restaurant has implemented several strategies, such as regular employee training regarding food hygiene and safety, routine maintenance and inspection of cooking equipment, and development of an employee attendance management system. Apart from that, this restaurant is also diversifying its menu and promotions to attract more customers and maintain income stability. This research concludes that effective operational risk management is very important for the survival and success of Ondo Restaurant. The recommendations provided include improving the risk monitoring system and implementing risk management strategies on a regular basis.

In running a business there are definitely risks. Risks that arise from the internal and external environment of the business can result in the business experiencing losses. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques originating from observations and interviews with the owner of the Manju Steamed Bread business, Tuasan Branch. This research will use Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), where ERM implementation is usually implemented by identifying risks, assessing and controlling risks. Businesses that use Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) can get risks ranging from low (low), medium (medium), high (high). This research aims to identify risks that may occur in the Manju Steamed Bread business, Tuasan Branch, then create a risk matrix to determine the worst risks that must be prioritized in control. The research results show that there are operational risks, namely employees not following steaming machine operating procedures, lack of maintenance of the machine and bread steaming equipment by employees and delays in the arrival of raw materials. This risk will affect the quality of taste, service, and can result in losses due to shop closures due to delays in the arrival of raw materials, so risk management is needed which aims to reduce operational risks that may occur.

MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) are one of the important economic pillars in driving local economic growth in various cities in Indonesia. However, MSMEs often face significant challenges, especially related to financial and labor risk management. This study aims to analyze financial and labor risk management at Mbak Yummi Chicken Noodle MSMEs in Medan City. In this study, a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews was used to collect data from business owners and employees. The analysis was conducted with a focus on financial risk management strategies, such as product and service diversification, creative promotion, cash flow management, and access to capital, and labor risk management strategies, including employee cost management, employee development and retention, and effective performance management. The results show that Mbak Yummi Chicken Noodle MSMEs have implemented various strategies to effectively manage financial and labor risks. Product and service diversification, creative promotions, and utilization of online delivery and ordering services help reduce financial risks and maintain revenue stability. Meanwhile, efficient management of employee costs, employee development, and effective performance management help manage labor risks, improve productivity, and maintain service quality. This research shows that effective financial and labor risk management plays an important role in the operational success of Mbak Yummi Chicken Noodle MSMEs.
