This study explores the relationship between mothers' knowledge of menopause and their personal readiness for this life stage at the Binjai Estate Health Center. Menopause, marked by the cessation of menstrual cycles, brings various physical and psychological changes. Adequate knowledge of menopause is essential for women to prepare both emotionally and physically for these changes. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, the study involved mothers aged 45-55 years who attended the health center. Data were collected through structured questionnaires that evaluated the participants' understanding of menopause, including its symptoms, stages, and health implications, alongside their readiness to face these changes. The results indicated a significant correlation between knowledge and readiness for menopause. Mothers with higher knowledge levels were more prepared, taking proactive steps to manage symptoms and seek healthcare. In contrast, those with less knowledge experienced greater anxiety and uncertainty about the menopausal transition. The study highlights the crucial role of educational programs in equipping women with the knowledge needed to navigate menopause effectively. Health centers, such as the Binjai Estate Health Center, are vital in providing this education and support, thereby enhancing women’s readiness for menopause and improving their overall well-being.

Introduction: Hypertension is a chronic condition in which blood vessel walls experience increased blood pressure, requiring a faster heart rate to pump blood throughout the body. The presence of hypertension influences changes in the results of mean arterial pressure, if the mean arterial pressure is more than 100 mmHg it can cause cerebral circulation disorders resulting in cerebral vascular resistance in hypertensive patients. One non-pharmacological effort to overcome and reduce MAP can be done by providing foot massage therapy. Method: This type of research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental one group pre-post test design approach. The instruments used by researchers were a digital spygmomanometer and observation sheet. Results: Descriptive statistical results showed that the average MAP value before giving a foot massage was 112.49 mmHg and the average MAP after giving a foot massage was 108.43 mmHg. Conclusion: The results of the Wilcoxon sign rank test, a non-parametric statistical test, obtained a p value of 0.000 (? = 0.05). So that p < a, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is approved, this shows that foot massage therapy can influence the results of mean arterial pressure in elderly hypertensive patients in the Kalijati Health Center working area. This research is expected to provide initial information by carrying out foot massage therapy 6 times in 6 consecutive days as an effort to control hypertension and reduce mean arterial pressure (MAP) results.

One of the causes of stunting and wasting problems in toddlers is a lack of nutritional intake over a long period of time. Stunting is caused by malnutrition in the womb and usually begins to appear when the child is two years old. One effort that can be made is to increase knowledge about nutrition and good eating patterns. Adequate nutritional intake does not have to be expensive, and fulfilling adequate food intake is very important for women before marriage. This is because women will be mothers who educate and raise children. Mothers have an important role in choosing food for the family, so knowledge about nutrition is very important. The aim is for the community or target partners to know in advance about the problems that exist in the target location and to introduce solutions to the partner's problems. In this activity, there is education or counseling for mothers of toddlers and cadres about stunting and how to control it. The method used is a demonstration of making local food products as an alternative snack for toddlers. The activity was attended by 34 mothers of toddlers in the Wanaraja Community Health Center area.  The stages carried out from start to finish are an assessment of the local food potential of the local area, a cooking demonstration for making PMT and an evaluation of implementation. The results of the activity showed that 34 mothers of toddlers who took part in the training implemented the creation of local food PMT menus in their respective places. Community health centers need to create a continuous training schedule so that cadre mothers are more motivated to make PMT menus from local food.
