Education for a nation that is currently developing like the Indonesian nation is currently an absolute necessity that must be developed in line with development demands step by step. Education that is managed in an orderly, orderly and efficient manner can produce something that is capable of accelerating the process of national civilization which is based primarily on creating general prosperity and the intelligent life of our nation, in accordance with the objectives of national education itself. The aim that researchers want to achieve in this research is to find out and describe the leadership style of school principals and work motivation in improving teacher performance at UNIVERSITAS STELLA MARIS SUMBA (UNMARIS). The data collection method is through distributing questionnaires to respondents directly. The respondents in this research were teachers at UNIVERSITAS STELLA MARIS SUMBA (UNMARIS)

The province of Lampung in Indonesia continues to face a great deal of poverty. The purpose of this study is to look at how poverty levels in this area are affected by population (X2) and unemployment (X1). Numerous primary and secondary sources of data are gathered, and relevant statistical techniques are applied to the analysis. The analysis's findings demonstrate that unemployment (X1) significantly affects Lampung's poverty level, with rising unemployment rates being correlated with rising poverty levels. Contrary to predictions, however, population size (X2) does not appear to have a meaningful impact on the amount of poverty. This implies that other variables might have a greater influence on how impoverished this area is. These results have significant ramifications for Lampung's development strategy. The main focus of policy should be on initiatives to lower the unemployment rate by increasing job opportunities for the populace and creating jobs through skill-training programs. Other aspects of poverty, such as access to healthcare and education, should also be taken into consideration.

This study explores the interaction between business and politics in Indonesia, focusing on the issues arising from this relationship. Through secondary data analysis and literature review, this research finds that the close ties between business and political actors often trigger corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN), negatively impacting public policy and the economy. The results show that this relationship harms public interests and hinders governance quality. The study offers recommendations to address these issues to enhance transparency and accountability.

Konsumen merupakan objek utama jalannya sebuah usaha. Segala kegiatan pemasaran yang diterapkan berdasarkan kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen. Persaingan usaha didasarkan kepada bagaimana menunjukkan kualitas produk kepada konsumen. Setiap individu tentunya memiliki keinginan yang berbeda. Menjalankan sebuah usaha atau bisnis perlu mendapatkan kepuasan konsumen sebagai bentuk penilaian konsumen terhadap usaha yang dijalankan. penilaian konsumen mengenai kualitas pelayanan yang diterapkan rumah makan Marini, 4 indikator yang ditanyakan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Rumah makan Marini telah menerapkan kualitas pelayanan dengan baik sehingga dapat menarik minat konsumen. rumah makan Marini mendapatkan loyalitas konsumen dengan sangat baik hal ini dilihat dari 4 indikator yang menjadi penilaian responden memberikan nilai sangat baik sebagai bentuk dampak dari kualitas pelayanan yang memberikan kepuasan konsumen berjalan lurus dengan loyalitas konsumen. Meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen bertujuan agar konsumen tidak berpindah ke rumah makan lain.

Global warming is a serious challenge for cities throughout the world, including the city of Medan. In this context, this research aims to investigate the impact of global warming on the environment and society of Medan City. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews and observations of the community as well as analysis of government policies related to this problem. The research results show that global warming has caused an increase in air temperature, air pollution, a decrease in ecosystem quality, and an increase in the volume of waste in Medan City. In addition, public health risks are also increasing, and cities are becoming more vulnerable to natural disasters. Based on these findings, effective mitigation and adaptation measures are needed to overcome the impacts of global warming. Active participation from governments, NGOs and civil society is also critical in achieving this goal. This research concludes that public awareness and participation can be increased through education, outreach campaigns, and innovative approaches, which in turn will help Medan City move towards a more sustainable future.  

Environmental problems are showing a significant increase day by day. The current environmental problem is one of the most urgent problems that needs to be resolved immediately, both from the government and from the surrounding community. Environmental pollution is formed from human activities which produce waste that enters the environment. Pollution carried out by PT. BOOS. Based on the data we submitted for research using a descriptive qualitative research method, this aims to describe a research phenomenon carried out in Bandar Maruhur, Simalungun Regency in May 2024. The establishment of factories in residential areas creates environmental instability due to toxic waste that has not been fully processed, creating biota. the river around the factory environment is disturbed. Apart from that, it also worsens the strong and unpleasant odor that often spreads around. Waste disposal activities by PT. BOSS, this unpleasant odor is often smelled around the environment. Pollution itself often disrupts community activities.

Penelitian ini membahas peran kebijakan moneter dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Medan. Kota Medan sebagai salah satu kota besar di Indonesia memiliki potensi yang besar untuk menjadi motor pertumbuhan ekonomi regional dan nasional. Kebijakan moneter, yang dikelola oleh bank sentral, memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam membentuk lingkungan ekonomi yang kondusif bagi investasi dan aktivitas ekonomi lainnya. Melalui pengaturan suku bunga dan kontrol inflasi, kebijakan moneter memainkan peran penting dalam merangsang investasi, meningkatkan konsumsi, serta menciptakan stabilitas harga. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi kebijakan moneter di Kota Medan, termasuk sensitivitas sektor-sektor ekonomi terhadap perubahan suku bunga dan integrasi dengan pasar global. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang hubungan antara kebijakan moneter dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Medan serta menawarkan saran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kebijakan moneter di masa depan.

Technological developments bring about change. One of the changes occurring in the education sector is online learning. Online learning allows learning activities between teachers and students to take place without meeting face to face in class and can take place at any time as long as there are devices such as smartphones, laptops and computers that are connected to the internet. Implementing online learning will certainly have a different influence from direct classroom learning. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of exploring the impact of online learning on the learning motivation of educational technology students class of 2023. This research was conducted using quantitative methods, by distributing questionnaires to educational technology students class of 2023, then the data was processed using Microsoft Excel. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of online learning on learning motivation. In this research, it was found that the number of learning motivations in online use was decreasing and the understanding of learning material was low when implementing online learning. Online learning has a big influence on the learning motivation of educational technology students class of 2023.

This research aims to find out how classical music influences the level of mathematics anxiety of class XB students at SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul. Second, what is the impact of classical music on the mathematics learning achievement of class XB students at SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul. The research subjects were class XB students at SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul with a total of 17 students. The type of research used is quantitative research supported by a qualitative approach. The research instruments used in the research were questionnaires, ability tests, and observations. The data obtained was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the research show that classical music has an effect on reducing the level of mathematics anxiety of class XB students at SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul. Then classical music had an impact on improving the mathematics learning achievement of class XB students at SMK Negeri 2 Kasihan Bantul.  

Abstract. The digital era has brought significant changes across various sectors of life, including the economy. The continuously evolving digital technology presents new opportunities and challenges, particularly in the implementation of Islamic economics in Indonesia. This article aims to analyze the innovations and implementation of Islamic economics in facing the developments of the digital era. The theoretical review covers the principles of Islamic economics, technology in the digital era, and the role of digital technology in the context of Islamic economics. This research employs a literature review method to understand various innovations and implementations in Islamic economics. The study results show that Islamic fintech, blockchain, Islamic crowdfunding, and collaboration with E-Commerce marketplaces have had a positive impact by enhancing access, transparency, and efficiency in financial transactions. By leveraging technological innovations, Islamic economics can contribute to creating an inclusive and sustainable economic system, benefiting individuals and society as a whole. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis inovasi dan implementasi ekonomi syariah dalam menghadapi perkembangan era digital. Kajian teori mencakup prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah, teknologi di era digital, dan peran teknologi digital dalam konteks ekonomi syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur untuk memahami berbagai inovasi dan implementasi dalam ekonomi syariah. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa fintech syariah, blockchain, crowdfunding syariah, dan kolaborasi dengan E-Commerce marketplace telah membawa dampak positif dengan meningkatkan akses, transparansi, dan efisiensi transaksi keuangan. This study aims to analyze the impact of globalization on corporate financial risk, focusing on exchange rate risk, interest rate risk, and country risk. The research employs a quantitative method, utilizing data from the annual financial reports of multinational companies listed on stock exchanges from 2010 to 2020. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques, including multiple regression to evaluate the relationship between independent variables (globalization factors such as exports, imports, and foreign direct investment) and dependent variables (levels of financial risk faced by companies). The findings indicate that globalization significantly influences these three types of financial risk. Companies involved in international trade tend to face greater exchange rate fluctuations, dynamic interest rate changes, and higher country risk compared to companies operating in domestic markets. To manage these risks, companies need to develop comprehensive risk management strategies, including the use of derivative instruments, thorough political and economic risk analysis, and investment in advanced technologies. Continuous training and fostering a strong risk culture within the organization are also critical factors in effective risk management. This study provides in-depth insights into how globalization affects corporate financial risk and offers strategic recommendations to enhance financial resilience in a global context.

The use of regional languages ​​in educational environments has a significant impact on the use of Indonesian. The findings show that the use of regional languages ​​can influence Indonesian language skills, especially in academic contexts. In addition, the use of regional languages ​​can also create communication gaps between individuals from different linguistic backgrounds. The implication of this research is the need for an approach strategy that combines the use of regional languages ​​with strengthening the use of Indonesian as an official language in the educational environment. This research aims to determine the use of regional languages ​​towards Indonesian, especially in the educational environment, as well as to determine and analyze measures to prevent the occurrence of mixed languages ​​(regional languages ​​and Indonesian). This research was conducted in an educational environment, especially at Medan State University. Through a quantitative research approach, data is collected through questionnaires that are direct comparisons between teenagers who often use regional languages ​​and Indonesian simultaneously.

Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja (UU Ciptaker) telah menjadi fokus perhatian dalam upaya pemerintah Indonesia untuk mereformasi struktur ekonomi guna meningkatkan daya saing. Dalam konteks pasar investasi, implementasi UU Ciptaker menjadi kunci dalam memahami perubahan dalam kinerja dan keseimbangan pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh UU Ciptaker terhadap pasar investasi di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data statistik untuk mengukur dampak UU Ciptaker terhadap kinerja dan keseimbangan pasar investasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi UU Ciptaker memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap pasar investasi, terutama dalam perubahan tren pertumbuhan, distribusi aset, dan struktur pasar. Terlihat adanya perubahan yang cukup besar dalam berbagai aspek pasar investasi setelah UU Ciptaker diberlakukan. Dengan demikian, kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa UU Ciptaker memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk kinerja dan keseimbangan pasar investasi di Indonesia. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk merumuskan kebijakan ekonomi yang lebih efektif dalam mendukung pertumbuhan pasar investasi di Indonesia. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah untuk memperluas cakupan analisis dan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang dapat memengaruhi pasar investasi di Indonesia secara lebih komprehensif.

This study aims to determine the effect of Celebrity Endorsement on Skincare Purchase Intention in Management Students of Medan State University (Unimed). The subjects of this study were 30 management students of Medan State University (Unimed).  The analysis prerequisite test includes normality test, linearity test and R test. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention.    

In this article, the impact of urbanization on the lives of the people of Serang City is discussed. This article identifies various impacts due to urbanization through research and analysis carried out. Urbanization in Serang City affects many aspects of community life and the environment. One of the main effects of urbanization in Serang City is changes in land use. Green spaces and agricultural land have been converted into housing, shopping centers, offices and other urban infrastructure. Thus, productive agricultural land is reduced, biodiversity is lost, and environmental damage occurs. With economic growth and development of urban infrastructure, public services, and access to education, urbanization increases employment opportunities for local residents. However, urbanization also brings social and lifestyle changes, which can influence cultural values, daily habits, and social interaction patterns. With demand for housing increasing and a shortage of affordable housing. Apart from that, changes that occur in urban infrastructure and the impact they have on infrastructure access and traffic must also be considered. The method in this research uses qualitative interview techniques. By gaining a better understanding of these impacts, it is hoped that sustainable solutions can be developed to exploit the positive potential of urbanization and overcome the problems faced by the people of Serang City.  

The issue of plastic bags continues to be a significant topic globally in waste management. Their relatively low cost, ease of use, and accessibility have made plastic bags an integral part of human life. With increasing plastic bag usage, inevitably comes an increase in plastic waste. Moreover, the rapid usage cycle of plastic bags, as they are typically single-use items used only temporarily, exacerbates the problem. If plastic waste is not optimally managed, it will have negative environmental impacts. To address this, the retail company Alfamart has begun employing green marketing strategies to promote the "Plastic Bag Diet" by offering environmentally friendly shopping bag products (Eco Bags). This aims to raise awareness and concern among the public for environmental sustainability by reducing plastic bag usage during shopping. Apart from Alfamart, other competing retail companies have also adopted similar strategies and offer eco-friendly bag products. The intensifying competition among retail companies forces managers to reconsider their strategies to win market share. The issuance of the Bali Provincial Regulation on Limiting Single-Use Plastic Waste is based on Article 12 paragraph (3) and Article 13 paragraph (2) of Bali Provincial Regulation Number 5 Year 2011 concerning Waste Management. This reflects the negative impacts that can arise if waste is not properly managed. The enactment of local regulations prohibiting the use of single-use plastic indicates a legal policy direction towards environmental conservation. The research method used in this study is a juridical normative method with a literature review approach, focusing on legal norms including principles, norms, rules, regulations, agreements, and doctrines. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effects of green marketing on attracting purchasing interest and persuading the public to make purchasing decisions on Eco Bag products at Alfamart as alternatives to plastic bags.

As a company engaged in transportation services, the airport located in East Java Province produces liquid waste with a quite large discharge in a day, which is 1120 m3. To treat the wastewater, the company has a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to adjust its quality standards before being discharged into the river. Every WWTP has the potential to cause environmental impact, both from the processing process and from the operation supporting tools. This study aims to analyze the three largest environmental impacts resulting from wastewater treatment activities at the airport in East Java, which are the impacts of Aquatic Ecotoxicity, Non-Renewable, and Ionizing Radiation. In addition, the author also provides recommendations for alternative STP operations that are more environmentally friendly. The approach used is the Life Cycle Assessment method using the OpenLCA application with the IMPACT 2002+ method.

Perkembangan zaman telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap kebutuhan manusia akan informasi, terutama dengan kemudahan akses internet dan kemajuan teknologi informasi yang cepat dan mudah. Namun, hal ini juga memunculkan ancaman terhadap keamanan informasi, seperti serangan virus, penyadap, dan aktivitas hacker yang semakin merajalela, yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian finansial yang besar dan kehilangan data sensitif. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, metode kriptografi dan steganografi menjadi pendekatan yang umum digunakan. Kriptografi berperan dalam mengamankan informasi melalui enkripsi pesan, sementara steganografi bertujuan untuk menyembunyikan data ke dalam media agar sulit dikenali oleh orang lain. Penelitian ini menggabungkan kedua teknik tersebut dengan menggunakan algoritma Vigenere Cipher dan metode LSB steganografi pada gambar. Proses ini berhasil menghasilkan lapisan keamanan tambahan, di mana pesan tidak hanya tersembunyi tetapi juga terenkripsi. Implementasi ini menunjukkan bahwa pesan dapat disisipkan ke dalam gambar tanpa distorsi visual yang signifikan, meningkatkan keamanan informasi secara efektif.
