Research on Hadamard matrices has been doing since 156 years ago and still attracts many researchers around the world. One of the possible reasons is that research in this area has strong relationship with many other areas, so applications related to it are numerous. This is a preliminary research in Hadamard matrices computation, especially in skew-Hadamard calculation. The aim is to implement parallel programming paradigm into several computers so that they can do action together as a parallel computer. To do this research, we used prototyping model process to develop the software, and then we analyzed the calculation result. Our research outcomes are both the prototype software and also the calculation results. Thanks to the Directorate General of Higher Education of Republic Indonesia (DIKTI) who gives us the funding to do this research by PDP scheme 2013.

Academic data increases every year in line with the increase of students. Abundant data store is alsoan abundance of information. Data mining technology is a tool for extracting information on largedatabases and has been widely used in many domains. Predicting student performance (study evaluation) isan activity to determine a future state based on existing data. Data in the field of academic research hasbeen done with various methods and algorithms, but the use of algorithm SLIQ (Supervised Learning InQuest) has not been done.SLIQ is an algorithm developed by the IBM's Quest project team in 1996 for mining large datasets.SLIQ algorithm classify and predict the students performance, beginning with the data cleaning, conductedelection training and testing data. By calculating gini index of each attribute and then selecting thesmallest gini index data table is split according to the criteria until find the same class. From the results ofthe calculation process can produce a set of rules that can be used to predict student performance. From the experiment it can be concluded that the algorithm SLIQ with decision tree technique canbe used as an alternative in designing a system datamining applications. Tests conducted system showedthat the constructed model can be used to predict the performance of new students. The resulting accuracyof the model system in fact has a lower score than the accuracy of other applications that are used as acomparison of Tanagra. Advantages of the proposed system is in its design does not need complexcalculations in obtaining the gini index attributes.

In order to send data or information  processed by using cryptography people can use XML(eXtensible Markup Language). XML data are general texts file which consist of several different tagswhich are defined by the XML document maker. In this research, the XML data were processed by usingPassword Based Encryption cryptography. This method consists of encryption and decryption meant toalter plaintext into chipertext which in turn creates chipertext from plaintext by using password key.²The implementation of the program in this research is a prototype of Hospital’s web facilitated withencyption menus and decryption data which are meant to protect the saved data which are in turn accessedand processed by authorized people. The implementation of the program is built as a web application withJava Server Page (JSP) in NetBeans 6.0 with Password Based Encryption cryptography provided by JavaCryptography Extension (JCE).

When creating databases for GIS-applications often existing maps are scanned and vectorised for used. However, vectorisation becomes obsolete when GIS-objects can be referred to both in theme and geometry in a raster environment. This article shows to use model spatial data raster and vector for GIS - applications in both the graphical and image structure. Geographical data must first be converted into a computer- readable format before it can be used in a GIS. Spatial data are "elements that can be stored in map form." These elements correspond to a uniquely defined location on the Earth's surface. Spatial data have also been describe as “any data concerning phenomenon a really distributed” in two or more dimensions. (Peuquet and Marble, I990.) Data model is the rules to convert real geographical variation into discrete objects. There are two main GIS data models - vector and raster. Each of the two data models has specific types of data, analysis and displays that can handle better than the other system. The vector model represents geographical reality as a series of discrete objects or features, classified as points, line's or areas (polygons). The geographical co-ordinates describing the locations of these features are stored in the computer database which lies at the heart of the GIS. In the raster model a regular grid of cells, or pixels, is used to encode the features found on the earth's surface. Each pixel has a number associated with it representing; the value of a geographical phenomenon, such as terrain elevation, soil type or biomass. Layers of raster grids covering the same region can be built up to represent further variables.
