Pregnancy is a critical phase in a woman's life that demands comprehensive support from her closest environment, especially from her husband. This study aims to describe the role of husbands in accompanying their wives during pregnancy, identify factors that influence the level of involvement, and understand the impact on the physical and psychological health of pregnant women. The research approach used was qualitative with the type of phenomenological study, which was conducted in Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan. The main informants consisted of purposively selected pregnant women and postpartum mothers, complemented by triangulation from husbands, health workers, and community leaders. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The results showed that husbands' assistance included involvement in pregnancy check-ups, assistance with household chores, provision of financial and emotional support, and roles in preparing for childbirth. However, this involvement was influenced by the husband's knowledge, culture, communication, and working conditions. Intact support from husbands was shown to have a positive impact on pregnant women's sense of comfort, confidence, mental readiness, and physical health. This study emphasizes the importance of holistic involvement of husbands in the pregnancy process and the need for a family and culture-based approach in preparing for childbirth.

This study aims to analyze the symbolic meanings contained in the lyrics of the song “One Last Breath” by the band Creed using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic theory. The song was selected due to its strong themes of existential crisis, despair, and hope, which are expressed through rich and meaningful linguistic signs. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive, employing Peirce’s triadic model of signs—icon, index, and symbol—as the basis of data analysis. The primary data source consists of selected lyrics, which were examined to identify the types of signs and their interpreted meanings. The findings reveal that the song's lyrics are filled with emotional symbols reflecting the protagonist's psychological condition, such as the phrase “six feet” as an icon of death, “falling” as an index of mental collapse, and “last breath” as a symbol of the remaining hope. The song also represents Western cultural values related to openness about mental health issues. It is concluded that “One Last Breath” functions not only as a musical work but also as a reflective medium that conveys profound messages about the human struggle and existential meaning. This study is expected to contribute to the development of semiotic analysis in music lyrics and inspire future research on other musical genre.

Generation Alpha refers to children born after 2010, who are growing up in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. In the Indonesian context, the emergence of depressive disorders among this generation poses a critical mental health challenge that has not been thoroughly addressed. This study aims to analyze the prevalence of depressive symptoms in Generation Alpha, identify the major risk factors, and evaluate current and potential preventive strategies through a narrative literature review approach. Data were collected from national and international journals using platforms such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Garuda, with inclusion criteria covering articles published between 2019 and 2024 and relevant to children’s mental health. Findings reveal a significant increase in depressive symptoms among children aged 5 to 13 years. Key risk factors include non-democratic parenting styles, academic stress, bullying in school environments, and excessive use of digital gadgets. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic and remote learning have exacerbated children’s mental health, particularly among those from low-income families or with limited access to psychological support. On the other hand, preventive strategies involving holistic approaches such as school-based mental health education, play therapy, digital mental health interventions, and Islamic spirituality-based approaches have demonstrated considerable potential in mitigating depressive symptoms. This review highlights the urgency of implementing multi-level and context-sensitive prevention strategies through collaboration between schools, families, and community-based institutions.

Patient safety is a fundamental component of healthcare quality and a key indicator of hospital performance. Ensuring its implementation requires not only technical competence but also psychological and organizational support. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and coaching on the implementation of patient safety among nurses, with responsive culture as a mediating variable at Hospital X, Bekasi. A quantitative approach was employed using a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 162 nurses in inpatient units using a structured questionnaire and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS software. The results showed that both motivation and coaching have significant direct effects on the implementation of patient safety. In addition, both variables significantly influence the development of responsive culture, which in turn also has a significant effect on patient safety. Responsive culture serves as a strong mediating factor, reinforcing the relationship between individual-level factors (motivation and coaching) and organizational safety outcomes. These findings indicate that motivated nurses who receive structured coaching within a responsive organizational environment are more likely to engage in safe practices. This study contributes to the growing evidence that human and cultural factors are critical in improving patient safety outcomes. It also provides practical recommendations for hospital leaders to focus on motivation strategies, coaching mechanisms, and cultural transformation to build safer healthcare systems. Future research is suggested to involve multiple institutions and integrate qualitative methods for deeper contextual understanding.
