Eid al-Fitr is increasingly experiencing a shift in meaning, transitioning from a purely religious celebration to one marked by heightened commercialization, especially in the fashion sector. As the holiday Eid approaches, consumers demonstrate a growing urgency to purchase fashion products reflects consumers' urgency to fulfill their appearance needs. This study aims to examine the influence of urgency and online shopping convenience on fashion product purchasing decisions among TikTok Shop consumers. A quantitative descriptive method was used with a total of 122 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results indicate that urgency has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a t-value of 5.260 > t-table 1.980, and online shopping convenience also has a significant effect with a t-value of 5.062 > t-table 1.980. Simultaneously, the F-value obtained was 39.813 > F-table 3.07, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.401, indicating that both variables influence purchasing decisions by 40.1%. This study suggests that TikTok Shop needs to improve services such as the checkout process, transaction security, and user interface convenience. Furthermore, sellers are encouraged to apply urgency-based strategies, such as limited-time offers, to increase consumer purchase intention.

Physics learning in high schools is often facing challenges due to lack of laboratory facilities, especially for abstract topics such as electron deflection. Limited equipment often results in a theoretical learning process without real-world practical experience. This community service activity aims to address this gap by assisting with electron deflection experiments at a high school in Surabaya. The methods applied included preparation and coordination, provision of equipment, inquiry-based learning design, classroom experiment implementation, and activity evaluation. During the program, the team brought the electron deflection experiment equipment to the school. Students were divided into small groups, and each group took turns interacting closely with the equipment brought by the team. Students were encouraged to propose hypotheses, observe carefully, and engage in discussions. A total of 58 students participated in this activity and had the opportunity to directly observe electron path in a cathode ray tube. The evaluation showed an excellent response from students with an average score of 3.48 (scale 1–4), where they felt this activity helped them learn theory with practice and increased their enthusiasm for learning. This program demonstrates that collaboration between universities and schools can be an efficient solution to overcome the lack of laboratory facilities and improve the quality of more meaningful physics learning.

Pacu Jalur is a traditional longboat race of the Malay community in Kuantan Singingi, Riau, which has served as a symbol of local cultural identity since the 17th century. In the last three years, this tradition has gone viral on TikTok, reaching millions of international viewers through hashtags such as #pacujalur and #indonesianboatracing. This study aims to analyze the role of Pacu Jalur’s virality as an instrument of Indonesia’s cultural diplomacy in the digital era. The method used is literature study with a thematic analysis approach, combining theories of soft power, digital cultural diplomacy, and cultural identity. The results show that Pacu Jalur’s virality expands cultural exposure to global audiences and strengthens local identity, while simultaneously highlighting the collective values of solidarity, teamwork, and aesthetic traditions embedded in the longboat race. At the same time, this phenomenon raises potential risks of cultural distortion due to commercialization, over-simplification of meaning, and the dominance of digital content logic that prioritizes visual appeal and entertainment value over historical and spiritual dimensions. These findings underscore the dual nature of viral cultural content: as both an opportunity for cultural diplomacy and a challenge for authenticity preservation. Therefore, this research highlights the importance of digital literacy, strategic collaboration between cultural stakeholders, and adaptive policy frameworks to ensure that the viral presence of Pacu Jalur on global digital platforms reflects authentic cultural values and serves as a sustainable instrument of Indonesia’s soft power in the contemporary international arena.

This study explores the alignment between science learning practices and children’s cognitive development stages based on Jean Piaget’s theory. Ten academic publications were systematically reviewed to examine how Piaget’s framework can be applied in science education. The findings highlight that integrating cognitive development theory is highly relevant for improving the quality of teaching and learning in schools. At the concrete operational stage (approximately 7–11 years), children learn best through direct experiences, manipulation of real objects, contextual media, and experiments that connect concepts with daily life. These methods help foster curiosity and reinforce conceptual understanding. As learners progress to the formal operational stage (around 11 years and above), they begin to think abstractly, reason logically, and analyze critically. At this level, student-centered approaches, inquiry-based methods, and constructivist learning become more effective in enhancing problem-solving, creativity, and higher-order thinking skills. The review also indicates that adapting instruction to developmental stages supports more meaningful and sustainable learning outcomes. In the Indonesian educational context, this approach can address challenges such as limited classroom facilities, diverse student learning styles, and a curriculum that is often overloaded. By applying Piaget’s insights, teachers can design learning strategies that bridge abstract concepts with concrete understanding, thus increasing student motivation and engagement. In conclusion, aligning science education with Piaget’s cognitive stages is an effective way to improve student performance and ensure long-term academic growth. The study provides valuable input for teachers, researchers, and policymakers in developing innovative, student-centered science and mathematics education.

This study aims to understand the dynamics of children’s communication within families after parental infidelity in Subang Regency, with a focus on conflict, problem-solving strategies, and conformity. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through purposive sampling involving four key informants and five supporting informants. The findings indicate that post-affair conflicts often lead to children’s withdrawal from family interactions, while problem-solving efforts are not always successful in restoring trust and repairing family relationships due to unresolved emotional wounds. Children’s conformity tends to become increasingly closed and restrictive, with the family no longer functioning as a safe space to express feelings and share concerns. Parental infidelity significantly disrupts family communication, particularly in parent–child interactions, as children tend to feel insecure, lose trust, and adopt rigid or defensive communication patterns. This condition reflects a broader psychological impact in which children experience emotional distress, confusion, and difficulties in establishing meaningful relationships. Moreover, the study highlights that unresolved family communication breakdowns may contribute to long-term consequences, such as reduced self-esteem and heightened vulnerability to stress. The research underscores the importance of maintaining open, honest, and empathetic communication to support children’s emotional recovery after parental infidelity. It also recommends seeking professional assistance, such as counselors or psychologists, when families are unable to independently rebuild healthy communication patterns. This provides not only emotional relief but also preventive measures for further deterioration of family relationships.

This research examines the aesthetic value of the selendang (sash or shawl) worn by the sindhen (female singer) in wayang kulit purwa (Javanese shadow puppet) performances, and the shift in its meaning amidst the current of digitalization. The selendang, as an element of attire, functions not only as an aesthetic complement but is also laden with philosophical and symbolic meaning in Javanese culture. Traditionally, the selendang worn by a sindhen possesses aesthetic value that emanates from the choice of motifs, colors, and the way it is worn, reflecting elegance, social status, and spiritual depth. In performances, the selendang also serves as a dance prop that enhances movement and strengthens the sindhen's expression. The era of digitalization brings new challenges and opportunities for traditional performing arts, including wayang kulit purwa. This study employs a qualitative approach with literature review and observation of both live and digitally broadcasted wayang kulit performances. The results indicate that in the current digital era, a shift has occurred in several aesthetic aspects of the sindhen's selendang. There is a trend towards using more diverse and modern materials and motifs, sometimes adapting techniques like digital printing to create more visually appealing on-screen presentations. Nevertheless, the core values of the selendang as a symbol of refined character and artistic beauty are maintained, and even further explored to cater to a broader and more modern audience. The digitalization of the performance stage also influences the sindhen's interaction, where the selendang is sometimes used more dynamically

A disability-friendly church is a concrete manifestation of the Christian faith's call to live out God's love in a tangible way in the lives of its congregation. The presence of people with disabilities in society and within church communities is often viewed as a neglected group, both in terms of physical accessibility, opportunities for participation, and involvement in ministry. However, theologically, people with disabilities are also God's creations, possessing the same dignity as other members of the congregation and deserving of equal space in church life. A disability-friendly church means a church that not only provides physical facilities but also fosters an attitude of acceptance, appreciation, and empowerment for people with disabilities so they can contribute to worship, ministry, and congregational life. This study aims to determine the extent of the efforts of the Indonesian Protestant Christian Church (GKPI)in Labuhanbatu, both in the Labuhanbatu Induk and Labuhanbatu Utara regions, in realizing a disability-friendly church as part of the Church's Three Tasks: Marturia (witness), Koinonia (fellowship), and Diakonia (loving service). The Three Tasks of the Church serve as an important benchmark for assessing the church's success in presenting God's love within the congregation, particularly to vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Thisapproach was chosen because it allowed researchers to understand the experiences, perceptions, and meanings of the participants in depth and context. Data collection techniques included field observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation.Eight informants participated in the research: two people wvith disabilities, two family members of people with disabilities, three church ministers, and one synod leader.

Diarrhea remains a major public health problem among children in Indonesia, with a high prevalence that impacts morbidity, mortality, and child development. One of the key risk factors is non-compliance with hygiene practices, particularly handwashing behavior. This study aimed to determine the relationship between handwashing compliance and diarrhea cases among children treated in the Pediatric Ward of Dahlia, RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal. The research employed a quantitative analytic method with a cross-sectional design, involving a total sampling of 39 child respondents aged 5–10 years who met the inclusion criteria. Data were collected using a handwashing compliance questionnaire and a diarrhea incidence questionnaire, and analyzed using Spearman’s Rank Correlation test. The results showed that most respondents were in the moderately compliant (53.8%) and compliant (43.6%) categories for handwashing, while the incidence of diarrhea remained relatively high at 51.3%. Bivariate analysis indicated a significant negative relationship between handwashing compliance and diarrhea cases (ρ = -0.538; p = 0.000), meaning that the higher the level of handwashing compliance, the lower the incidence of diarrhea. In conclusion, handwashing compliance is an important protective factor in reducing the risk of diarrhea among children. These findings emphasize the need for continuous education for children and parents regarding proper handwashing practices, as well as the integration of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) promotion into healthcare and educational services to prevent diarrhea from an early age
