The importance of special attention to mothers and children in health services is reflected in the high maternal mortality rate (MMR), which shows the quality of health services in a region. Pregnant women's knowledge of the danger signs of pregnancy is a key factor in preventing complications and death. Maternal and Child Health (KIA) books and pregnancy class programs are one of the efforts to increase this knowledge. This research aims to increase pregnant women's understanding of the danger signs of pregnancy through counseling in Sungai Beras Hilir Village. The methods used were counseling using KIA books, discussions and demonstrations by the Kulim Jaya Community Health Center team and KKN students. The results show an increase in pregnant women's knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy and prevention of preeclampsia after being given counseling. In conclusion, this activity is effective in increasing pregnant women's understanding of the importance of knowing the danger signs of pregnancy and preventing them, as well as motivating them to carry out routine health control.

The infancy period is a crucial phase for a child's growth and development, where attention to sleep and stimulation is paramount. Sleep disturbances, such as sleeping less than nine hours per night, frequent awakenings, and difficulty returning to sleep, can affect a baby's emotions and development. This study aims to explore the impact of infant massage on the quality of sleep in infants. The method used was a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design, conducted at the Sei Langkai Public Health Center in Batam City from July to August 2023. The sample consisted of 15 infants selected through purposive sampling. The independent variable was infant massage, and the dependent variable was the quality of infant sleep. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Wilcoxon test to assess differences before and after the intervention. The results showed a p-value of 0.001, which is less than 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). This indicates that infant massage has a significant effect on the quality of infant sleep. In conclusion, infant massage is effective in improving the quality of infant sleep and can be recommended as an intervention to address sleep disturbances in infants in the Sei Langkai Public Health Center area.

The impact of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) on pregnant women includes a higher risk of delivering low birth weight (LBW) infants. This research employs a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional study design. The population and sample size consist of 42 individuals. Questionnaires are used for data collection. Data analysis employs the chi-square test. The results of the data analysis indicate a significant relationship between compliance in consuming supplementary food and weight gain among pregnant women with CED at Ratte Health Center, Tana Toraja Regency, with a p-value of 0.002, which is smaller than the α value of 0.05. It is recommended that health centers establish regular education programs focused on the nutritional needs of pregnant women with CED. Through these educational sessions, pregnant women can receive accurate and relevant information about the importance of supplementary food and its impact on health.

The results of statistical analysis with Chi-Square found that there was no relationship between breastfeeding position and the incidence of breast milk dam with a value (P-Value) = 0.099 where (P < ?) = 0.05, and there was a relationship between breast care and the incidence of breast milk dam with a value (P-Value) = 0.030 where (P < ?) = 0.05. The conclusion is that there is no relationship between breastfeeding position and the incidence of breast milk dam and there is a relationship between breastfeeding position and breast milk dam. it is hoped that midwives and other health workers can teach mothers directly during breastfeeding how to do the correct breastfeeding position and breast care technique.

This research explores the experiences of nurses in carrying out their main duties and functions at the Panamas Community Health Center. Qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach are used to gain an in-depth understanding of this phenomenon. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with 12 nurses selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis using the Colaizzi method produced five main themes: (1) Nurses' activities in health services, (2) Tasks carried out by community health center nurses, (3) The importance of good health program management, (4) Management of duties and authority in health services, and (5) Shortage of health and non-health personnel and multifunctionality in health services. Research results show that nurses often have to take over the roles of doctors, administrative staff, and pharmacists due to limited human resources even though these tasks should not be their responsibility. This causes nurses to lose focus in carrying out their main duties, nurses feel that their main role as care providers is disturbed. Nurses also run various health programs and serve as physician assistants, although these roles often exceed their duties. The importance of good health program management was emphasized, as many participants experienced difficulties in achieving targets, reporting and patient monitoring. Management of tasks and authority includes handover of tasks, delegation of daily tasks, and delegation of authority, however socialization to staff has not been comprehensive. Lack of human resources causes nurses to carry out multiple roles which hinders their professional development. This research recommends strengthening competency and further training for nurses, increasing legal awareness regarding the delegation of authority, integrating health management education in the nursing curriculum, as well as increasing the number and qualifications of human resources in community health centers.

University of Sumatera Utara (USU) is the one of the largest and the best universities in Medan which has full of facilities and infrastructure. Nevertheless, currently University of Sumatera Utara does not have a Student Center. The provision of a student center at a university is essential for the development of outstanding students. Furthermore, in the post pandemic COVID-19, humans need a healthier space or place to be live in. Activities that take place indoors require good air quality to prevent viruses from easily entering and thriving inside the room. The application of tropical architecture in the design of the USU Student Center is a consideration in creating a place suitable for post pandemic COVID-19 conditions, and it also serves as a solution for the climate in Indonesia.

Immunization via injection can cause immediate pain in children. Pain that occurs as a result of immunization injections, if not managed properly, can have a negative impact on the child's emotional aspects such as crying and fear. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design approach. The sample involved in this research was 64 respondents, selected using Probability Sampling techniques. The research results show that based on the Paired T-Test statistical test, the p-Value value for the influence of the 5S Method (Swaddling, Side-Stomach, Shushing, Swinging, Sucking) is 0.000. Because p < 0.05, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the Null Hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the 5S Method (Swaddling, Side-Stomach, Shushing, Swinging, Sucking) has a significant influence on the Infant's Pain Response After Basic Immunization at the Dahlia Makassar Community Health Center. The suggestion is that the 5s method be an alternative for treating pain experienced by babies as an effort to minimize pharmacological therapy.

This study aims to elaborate on the pattern of additional food as a risk factor for stunting in toddlers at the Pasar Prabumulih Health Center in 2023. Stunting is a condition where a child's height is shorter than the height of other children of the same age. Factors that can influence stunting include unhealthy eating patterns, low birth weight (LBW), lack of breastfeeding, due to infectious diseases during infancy, and failure to achieve perfect growth improvement in the following period. This study uses a case-control study approach with an analytical observational research design. Cases are toddlers diagnosed with stunting and controls are toddlers diagnosed as normal. The data collection technique uses primary data obtained directly from the research site by means of observation and interviews using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using binary logistic regression tests. The results of the analysis showed that there was no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding, parental education level, parental knowledge, and history of infectious diseases with stunting, but additional food patterns were related to stunting. The final multivariate model showed that only additional food patterns affected stunting.
