Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. However, public interest in Islamic banking services is still relatively low compared to conventional banking. The low interest is inseparable from various factors that influence individual decisions in choosing banking services. Interest itself can be understood as a person's tendency to be interested and pay attention to an object or activity voluntarily and accompanied by a sense of pleasure, which is formed through psychological and social processes.  The type of research used in this study is field research, while the nature of this study is descriptive qualitative. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection was carried out using two techniques, namely interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification.  The results of the study showed that the most dominant factors influencing public interest are social and psychological factors. Social factors include the influence of family and the surrounding environment, which form habits and references in choosing banking services. Meanwhile, psychological factors include motivation to avoid usury practices and positive perceptions of the suitability of sharia principles applied in Islamic bank operations. Thus, efforts are needed to increase financial literacy, emotional approaches, and strengthening social relations to encourage the growth of public interest in Islamic banking services..

The increasing workload and pressure in the field of education necessitate effective Adversity Quotient (AQ) management to foster teacher resilience and uphold professionalism amid evolving challenges. This study aims to analyze how AQ management contributes to enhancing teacher performance and professionalism. In the face of continuous educational change, teachers are exposed to various pressures, including administrative burdens, curricular dynamics, and complex social expectations. AQ which consists of four core dimensions: Control, Ownership, Reach, and Endurance is considered a crucial factor influencing psychological resilience and professional consistency. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach to explore managerial strategies, teacher perceptions, and experiences in developing AQ within the school environment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that AQ is managed through contextual and participatory approaches, supported by an open organizational culture, supportive leadership, and a psychosocially healthy work environment. Strengthening AQ has been shown to contribute to the development of adaptive, reflective, and professional educators. Therefore, integrating AQ into ongoing professional development programs is recommended as a strategic institutional response to the growing complexities of the educational landscape.

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced by novice teachers in implementing a dual curriculum—which includes the national curriculum and Islamic curriculum—in Islamic Elementary Schools (SDI). The dual curriculum in SDI requires integration between mastery of general knowledge and instilling strong Islamic values. However, in practice, novice teachers experience various difficulties, ranging from limited understanding of the two types of curriculum, heavy administrative burdens, to social and cultural pressures of religious schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature studies, by analyzing relevant academic literature from journals, proceedings, and scientific books in the last ten years. The results of the analysis show that novice teachers experience challenges in pedagogical, structural, psychological, and cultural aspects. They often feel unprepared to develop integrative teaching materials, manage time effectively, and meet institutional and parental expectations. The lack of mentoring, training, and assistance programs also worsen the situation, causing work stress and the risk of burnout. This study concludes that the challenges faced by novice teachers in the context of the dual curriculum are systemic and require a structured and sustainable solution approach, such as strengthening integrated training, integrating curriculum management, and developing a professional development system that supports the pedagogical and spiritual development of novice teachers.

Long-distance marriages are increasingly common due to economic and work demands. This presents challenges in maintaining the commitment of married couples. This study aims to describe the nature of marriage commitment in long-distance relationships, examining it from personal, moral, and structural perspectives. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants were married couples in long-distance marriages. The results show that couples in long-distance marriages still have a strong commitment. The personal commitment aspect is reflected in the intensity of communication, maintained love and attraction, and is identified as a couple that is internalized in each other. The moral aspect shows from ethical awareness and cultural and religious values that strengthen responsibility towards partners. Meanwhile, structural commitment is identified through the presence of children, financial responsibility, and external obstacles that support maintaining the relationship. The psychological dynamics of couples are characterized by the ability to regulate emotions, cognitive adjustment to distance, and strong intrinsic motivation. These findings suggest that marital commitment can be maintained in long-distance marriages if supported by shared awareness, quality communication, and strong shared values.

A comfortable classroom environment plays a crucial role in supporting effective learning processes at the elementary school level. This comfort includes physical aspects such as lighting, ventilation, cleanliness, and room arrangement, as well as psychological aspects such as peer relationships, teacher approach, and emotional atmosphere in the classroom. When students feel physically and emotionally comfortable, they tend to be more focused, calm, and ready to absorb learning material. A pleasant environment can create a positive learning experience and foster enthusiasm for school activities. This study aims to examine the influence of classroom environmental comfort on elementary school students’ learning motivation. Using a descriptive approach, data were collected through observations and questionnaires that explored students’ perceptions of their classroom conditions. The results show that the more comfortable students feel in their classroom, the greater their motivation to actively engage in learning activities. A supportive classroom atmosphere is proven to enhance learning spirit, participation, and curiosity. Based on these findings, it is recommended that schools pay closer attention to classroom comfort as part of a broader strategy to improve the quality of education at the elementary level.

Indonesia is a country that prioritizes law. This has been explained explicitly in the 1945 Constitution. Criminal law in Indonesia is one of the main guidelines in realizing justice. An act is constituted as a crime and formulated in law if the act is assessed by the legislator as an act that endangers a legal interest. By establishing a prohibition against committing an act accompanied by criminal threats/sanctions for anyone who violates it, it means that the law has provided legal protection for these legal interests. In this problem, the researcher focuses on questions and legal objectives regarding legal protection for victims in cases of sibling murder, namely as follows: 1. What are the factors that cause serious abuse based on case number 720/Pid.B/2023/PN Lbp? 2. What is the criminal responsibility for perpetrators in cases of serious abuse based on case number 720/Pid.B/2023/PN Lbp. Research is the most important part of the entire series of activities for writing a scientific work, because to answer the main research problem, the object of the problem described in the problem formulation will be answered. The research location is a place or area where the research will be carried out. The location of this research is the Lubuk Pakam Class I-A District Court located at Jalan Jendral Sudirman No. 58 Lubuk Pakam, Postal Code: 20512, Tel/Fax: (061) 7955861, North Sumatra. Serious maltreatment is an act of violence that is carried out intentionally and results in serious physical injury or even death to another individual. Cases like this not only harm physically, but also emotionally and psychologically for the victims and society in general. An appropriate and effective legal process in handling cases of serious abuse is important to uphold justice, provide protection to victims, and prevent future violence.

This study aims to systematically review the literature that discusses the influence of social media on adolescent communication patterns, especially in the context of organizational learning. Social media as part of the digital transformation has changed the way adolescents interact, not only in social aspects but also in informal learning processes. Through a Systematic Literature Review approach, this study maps key concepts, identifies research gaps, and explores future research directions. The results of the study indicate that social media plays an important role in shaping interpersonal communication, digital ethics, and adolescent self-identity. However, most previous studies are still geographically limited, descriptive, and have not linked social media use to organizational learning comprehensively. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an integrative theoretical model and longitudinal studies that consider the cultural, psychological, and social contexts of adolescents in the digital era.

This study investigates the verbal and visual signs embedded in the promotional posters of Midsommar (2019), a psychological horror film directed by Ari Aster. Drawing on Dyer’s (1982) theory of visual signs, Saussure’s semiotic model of the signifier and signified, and Cerrato’s (2012) theory of color symbolism, the research analyzes how linguistic and visual elements work together to convey layered meanings. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, five official film posters were examined to identify how signs construct thematic messages and emotional tones. The findings reveal that the posters deliberately juxtapose serene imagery with unsettling symbols, creating a tension between aesthetic beauty and psychological horror. Verbal cues such as taglines and titles signal themes of ritual, trauma, and emotional transformation, while visual signs—such as costume, color palette, facial expressions, and symbolic objects—reinforce the film’s narrative of cultural disorientation and personal collapse. Color symbolism, particularly the use of red, blue, and white, plays a key role in evoking mood and implying deeper psychological and ritualistic meanings. Overall, this study demonstrates that Midsommar’s posters function not only as promotional tools but also as rich semiotic texts that foreshadow the film’s ideological and emotional content, offering insight into how horror and beauty can coexist within cinematic visual culture.

This study aims to examine diabetes mellitus from an Islamic spiritual perspective, as well as how the concept of a harmonious family and the teachings of the Qur'an can be implemented as part of healing and prevention efforts. This study uses a qualitative method based on libraries by examining primary and secondary sources in the form of the Qur'an, hadith, health literature, and the thoughts of scholars. The results of the study indicate that diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by increased blood glucose levels due to insulin disorders. From an Islamic perspective, one of the causes of this disease is excessive stress, an unbalanced diet, and a lack of self-control, all of which are forms of the physical and spiritual world. The Qur'an provides a solution through a spiritual approach such as dhikr, fasting, and honey consumption. In the context of Islamic law, maintaining health is part of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, especially in maintaining the soul (ḥifẓ al-nafs) and maintaining religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn), because a healthy body is needed to carry out worship perfectly. Therefore, efforts to cure and prevent diabetes through a spiritual approach are not only medical and psychological, but also a sharia obligation that has worship value. This study confirms that a holistic approach between medical, spiritual, and Islamic law can provide a positive contribution in dealing with chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of psychological approaches in overcoming thinking disorders in elementary school children. The background of this study is the increasing cases of thinking disorders such as difficulty distinguishing reality, irrational thinking, and rigid thought patterns, which have a negative impact on children's learning processes and social interactions. Unfortunately, these disorders are often not identified early due to a lack of understanding from teachers and parents of the psychological symptoms that appear. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method (library research). Data sources come from accredited journals, child development psychology books, and relevant previous research results. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that psychological approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), individual counseling, and play therapy have proven effective in helping children recognize, manage, and regulate negative thought patterns. This approach also improves children's communication skills and self-confidence. The success of the intervention is greatly influenced by the involvement of teachers and parents, as well as a safe and supportive learning environment. However, limited resources and a lack of professional staff are major obstacles in implementing interventions in elementary schools.

Infertility is a global health problem that has significant social and psychological impacts. Factors such as environmental and occupational factors, physical activity, and poor nutrition can increase the risk of infertility. Assisted reproductive technology (ART) is one of the main interventions used to treat infertility, with in vitro fertilization (IVF) being the most common method. In IVF, there are two methods of embryo transfer: frozen embryo transfer (FET) and fresh embryo transfer (ET). This study aims to compare the live birth rate between frozen and fresh embryo transfer in IVF programs and assess the risk of preeclampsia associated with both embryo transfer methods. A literature review was conducted by searching 20 scientific articles from PubMed, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect using inclusion criteria and the PICO strategy and PRISMA flow chart. Inclusion criteria included publications from the last 10 years, English language, and human studies. The results showed that both methods produced comparable live birth rates (LBR) with FET slightly superior to ET, depending on the patient's condition and characteristics. On the other hand, there was a significantly increased risk of preeclampsia in FET, especially in patients using the artificial cycle protocol (AC-FET). The conclusion of this review is that FET and ET methods are effective in achieving pregnancy and there is an increased risk of preeclampsia in FET especially AC-FET which needs further consideration.

This study aims to explore the concept of self-healing in the perspective of the Qur'an as a method of recovery and maintenance of mental health. The research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method with primary sources of the Qur'an and secondary sources in the form of books of interpretation, psychological literature, and Islamic books. The analysis technique uses thematic content analysis with the maudhū'ī interpretation method to collect and analyze verses related to self-healing values such as patience, dhikr, tawakkul, prayer, and gratitude with a contextual and psychological approach. The results show that mental health disorders according to the Qur'an can be caused by life tests and despicable traits such as despair, pride, spite, anger, prejudice, and anxiety, which result in mental unrest if not resolved. The Qur'an provides self-healing methods through the values of forgiveness, gratitude, patience, prayer, remembrance, and muhasabah, which are psychologically proven to help individuals calm the soul, control emotions, increase self-resilience, and strengthen faith in facing life's tests. Thus, Qur'an-based self-healing makes a significant contribution to mental health recovery, making individuals wiser, stronger, and having peace and cleanliness of heart in living life.

This study discusses the character of Acha in the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic approach. Acha is described as a teenager who is persistent in pursuing love, but has a complex inner conflict. This study was conducted because psychological issues, especially in teenagers, are very relevant in modern life. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with Freud's structural analysis of personality, namely id, ego, and superego. In this study, Acha shows the dominance of the id when expressing love impulsively, the ego when adjusting to the bitter reality, and the superego when choosing honesty even though it is painful. The presence of supporting characters also strengthens Acha's psychological dynamics in the story. The results of the study show that Acha's internal conflict is a reflection of the struggle between desire, reality, and morality, and describes the process of maturing teenage characters. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of psychological dynamics in literary works and their relevance to the lives of teenagers today.
